Objective To explore the risk factors for preoperative deep venous thrombosis(DVT)in patients with intertrochanteric femoral fractures.Methods A total of 588 patients with intertrochanteric femur fractures treated at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University from January 2020 to January 2025 were selected as subjects.Based on preoperative color Doppler ultrasound findings DVT in the lower limbs,patients were divided into DVT group(n=76)and non-DVT group(n=512).Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression were used to identify independent risk factors for preoperative DVT development.Results Compared to non-DVT group,age,time from injury to hospitalization,platelet,white blood cell,neutrophil,platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio,mean platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio,systemic immune inflammatory index,neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,and systemic inflammatory response index(SIRI)were significantly higher in DVT group,while the lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio and albumin levels were significantly lower in the DVT group(P＜0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that age,platelet,time from injury to hospitalization,and SIRI were independent risk factors for preoperative DVT in patients with intertrochanteric femoral fractures.Conclusion In clinical practice,clinicians should pay close attention to age,time from injury to hospitalization,platelet,and SIRI factors to better prevent DVT formation.

Objective: To study the current situation of sleep quality of senior high school students and analyze the influencing factors, so as to provide a reference for targeted sleep quality improvement of high school students. Methods: A total of 4 793 senior high school students of different grades were recruited from four different regions (Shanghai, Qinghai, Macao, Henan) in 2020. The information of demographic, sleep status, mental factors, living habits and other information were collected by questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and Logistic regression were used to analyze sleep quality and its influencing factors of the senior high school students. Results: About 24.2% of senior high school students reported sleep problems and 71.4% slept less than 7 hours at night. Interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety symptoms, learning, family and interpersonal stress had significant effects on sleep problems in senior high school students( χ 2=1 147.98, 1 228.35, 1 032.54, 371.05, 497.61, 475.39, P <0.01). Drinking coffee and tea, drinking alcohol, smoking (including secondhand smoke), long term use of electronic products, late sleep, bedtime diet, poor sleep environment, parents with sleep problems were the risk factors for sleep disorders of senior high school students, regular exercise was the protective factors for sleep disorders of senior high school students, the influence was significant ( χ 2=160.28, 127.73 , 108.02, 113.27, 470.91, 340.95, 72.02, 155.53, 116.30, 76.96, 28.75, 12.89, P <0.05). Conclusion The sleep quality of senior high school students needs to be improved. Schools and parents should pay attention to the mental health and living habits of senior high school students to help them improve their sleep quality and grow up smoothly.

Rapid development of high-throughput technologies has permitted the identification of an increasing number of disease-associated genes (DAGs), which are important for understanding disease initiation and developing precision therapeutics. However, DAGs often contain large amounts of redundant or false positive information, leading to difficulties in quantifying and prioritizing potential relationships between these DAGs and human diseases. In this study, a network-oriented gene entropy approach (NOGEA) is proposed for accurately inferring master genes that contribute to specific diseases by quantitatively calculating their perturbation abilities on directed disease-specific gene networks. In addition, we confirmed that the master genes identified by NOGEA have a high reliability for predicting disease-specific initiation events and progression risk. Master genes may also be used to extract the underlying information of different diseases, thus revealing mechanisms of disease comorbidity. More importantly, approved therapeutic targets are topologically localized in a small neighborhood of master genes in the interactome network, which provides a new way for predicting drug-disease associations. Through this method, 11 old drugs were newly identified and predicted to be effective for treating pancreatic cancer and then validated by in vitro experiments. Collectively, the NOGEA was useful for identifying master genes that control disease initiation and co-occurrence, thus providing a valuable strategy for drug efficacy screening and re-positioning. Objective: To investigate the clinical value of quantitative detection of DNA aneuploidy in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical lesions in middle-aged and senile women. Methods: A total of 1 404 middle-aged and elderly women who underwent screening for early cervical lesions were retrospectively studied.Patients were divided into the two groups: the 40-49 years old group(n=897)and the 50-78 years old group(n=507). Cervical lesions were screened by DNA ploidy analysis and the results were compared with those screened by liquid-based cytology, colposcopy and high-risk human papillomavirus(HPV). Results: The positive detection rate of HPV by DNA ploidy analysis was 54.4%(764/1 404). Of 1 404 patients, HPV16/18 infection accounted for 21.3%(299/1 404). The detection rate of heteroploid cells was 50.92%(715/1 404). There was a significant positive correlation between HPV infection type and cervical epithelial cell ploidy changes(r=870, P=0.001). The detection rate of HPV by liquid-based cytology was 45.08%, which was lower than that by DNA aneuploidy(χ²=9.594, P=0.002). The differences in the incidences of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(LSIL)and high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion(HSIL)and above categories of lesions were statistically significant(χ²=289.598, P=0.000)between patients with and without DNA aneuploidy.The statistically significant differences were found between the 40-49 years old group and 50-78 years old group(P<0.05)in the occurrence of abnormal DNA ploidy cells, HPV infection rate, the proportion of LSIL, HSIL and above categories of lesions. Conclusions Compared with the conventional cytology, DNA aneuploidy quantitative detection has higher sensitivity and better specificity, and has no significant difference from the high-risk HPV detection.It can be used as one of methods for screening cervical lesions in middle-aged and elderly women, especially those with high-risk HPV infection.

Objective To summarize the diagnosis and treatment of congenital pulmonary airway malformation in children.Methods The clinical data of 68 children with congenital pulmonary airway malformations from June 2014 to June 2017 were analyzed retrospectively,including 39 males and 29 females with mean age(1.1 ±:0.5) years old(from 2 months 12 days to 15 years),7 cases of pulmonary cyst resection in 68 cases,3 cases with lung segment resection,1 cases with lingulectomy,57 cases with lobectomy.Results 68 cases were cured and discharged without death.Postoperative short-term complications included subcutaneous emphysema in 5 cases,pleural effusion in 2 cases,pneumothorax in 2 cases.All cases were followed up well between 3 months and 1 year.Conclusion The diagnosis of congenital pulmonary airway malformation in children mainly depends on imaging examination.Because it is easy to repeat infection,and can not rule out malignant transformation,early diagnosis and early treatment should be done.Surgical resection is the only way to treat the disease.

Objective To investigate the pathological features of ovarian tumors in elderly women.Methods We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of 124 elderly patients with ovarian cancer who were admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to December 2017.Results Among the 124 elderly patients with ovarian tumors,there were 6 borderline tumors,19 malignant tumors,and 99 benign tumors.Postmenopausal vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain were the main symptoms of ovarian cancer in elderly patients.The incidence of abdominal pain in patients with benign ovarian tumors was significantly higher than in patients with malignant tumors (x2 =5.813,P ＜0.05);the incidence of postmenopausal vaginal bleeding in malignant tumors was significantly higher than in benign tumors(x2=8.123,P ＜0.05);the major pathological type of benign ovarian tumors was mucinous cystadenoma,while serous cystadenoma was the most common type of malignant tumors.Analysis of related factors showed that menopausal age was positively correlated with,and menarche age and number of pregnancies were negatively correlated with ovarian tumors;and there was no correlation with number of abortions.Conclusions Malignant ovarian tumors are common in elderly women.Clinically,attention to risk factors,early detection and diagnosis will help further reduce the malignant transformation rate and improve the quality of life for patients.

Objective To explore the effect of tea polyphenols on the growth of human papillomavirus 16 (HPV16) subgenes-immortalized human cervical epithelial cells (H8 cells).Methods Cultured H8 cells were divided into 5 groups to be treated with 0 (control group),6.25,12.5,25 and 50 mg/L tea polyphenols respectively for 24,36,and 48 hours,and then cell counting kit-8 (CCK8)assay was performed to detect cell proliferation.After 24 hours of incubation,flow cytometry was conducted to detect cell apoptosis and cell cycle,and fluorescence microscopy to observe the morphology of apoptotic cells.Results After incubation with tea polyphenols at different concentrations for 24,36 and 48 hours,the proliferation of H8 cells was inhibited,and 12.5 mg/L tea polyphenols could inhibit the relative growth rate of H8 cells in a time-dependent manner.Flow cytometry showed that there was a significant difference in cell apoptosis rate among the 6.25-,12.5-,25-,50-mg/L tea polyphenols groups and the control group (52.62％ ± 0.62％,52.22％ ± 0.72％,42.52％ ± 0.90％,45.96％ ± 2.11％,29.96％ ± 0.70％ respectively,F =272.0,P ＜ 0.05).Moreover,all the tea polyphenol groups showed significantly increased cell apoptosis rate compared with the control group (all P ＜ 0.05).Fluorescence microscopy showed karyopyknosis,nuclear fragmentation and other typical apoptotic morphological changes in H8 cells in tea polyphenols groups.There were significant differences in the percentage of cells in G1,G2 phase and cell proliferation index among the 5 groups (all P ＜ 0.05).Compared with the control group,the 6.25-,12.5-,25-mg/L tea polyphenols groups showed significantly increased percentage of cells in G1 phase (55.96％ ± 0.72％,54.12％ ± 3.20％,65.30％ ± 1.51％ respectively,all P ＜ 0.05),but significantly decreased percentage of cells in G2 phase (3.17 ± 1.82％,4.94 ± 1.46％,4.65 ± 4.26％ respectively,all P ＜ 0.05) and lower cell proliferation index(0.44 ± 0.01,0.46 ± 0.02,0.36 ± 0.01 respectively,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Tea polyphenols can inhibit the proliferation of H8 cells,induce cell apoptosis,and block cell cycle progression.

Objective To assess true vocal fold (TVF) length and cricothyroid distance(CTD) with ultrasonography in male-to-female (MtF)transsexual voice surgery.Methods Five MtF transsexuals were divided into two groups according to their voice change surgery methods.High-frequency ultrasonography was used to measure the length of true vocal folds and cricothyroid distance.Measurements were compared pre-and post-surgery, and correlations with fundamental frequency (F0) were analyzed.Results The ultrasonography measurements clearly showed the laryngeal structure and TVF measurement marks.After vocal fold shortening and retrodisplacement of anterior commissure(VFSRAC) surgery, the ultrasonographic measurements showed that the shortening length of TVF were 0.37 cm(21%),0.69 cm(37%) and 0.40 cm(25%), respectively.The CTD in ultrasonographicimages were 1.0 cm pre-surgery of cricothyroid approximation (CTA) and-0.33 post-surgery of CTA.The displacement of cricoid cartilage was 1.33 cm, which was consistent with the laryngeal CT image.Conclusion Both TVF length and CTD can be shown by high-frequency ultrasonography, which can be used to quantitatively assessment and follow-up MtF transsexual voice surgery.

Objective:To explore the clinical diagnostic value of quantitative detection of the paired‐boxed gene1 (PAX1 ) methylation for cervical high grade precancerous lesions .Methods:According to pathological diagnosis ,which was set as the gold standard ,122 patients infected with high risk subtype HPV were divided to the normal cervix group(group I ,n=39) ,the cervical low grade precancerous lesions group(group II ,n=40) ,and the cervical high grade precancerous lesions group(group III ,n=43) .The cervical tissue samples from each group were collected .The methylation level of PAX1 from each sample was measured by pyrosequencing and the statistical analysis was done .The diagnostic threshold of PAX1 methylation level for cer‐vical high‐grade precancerous lesions was verified by receiver operator characteristic(ROC) curve .Results:The PAX1 methyla‐tion level of group I ,group II ,group III was (4 .77 ± 2 .43)% ,(3 .75 ± 2 .36)% ,(13 .51 ± 5 .31)% ,respectively .And the differences among them were statistically significant (F=23 .13 ,P<0 .001) .The area under the ROC curve was 0 .73 .The diagnostic threshold of PAX1 methylation level for cervical high grade precancerous lesions was 4 .15% ,and its sensitivity and specificity was 89 .39% and 79 .15% ,respectively .Conclusions:Quantitative detection of PAX1 methylation level in cervical tissue by pyrosequencing could reach effective diagnosis for cervical precancerous lesions .
