Objective:
To explore the association of latent profiles of mobile phone dependence and self control with physical exercise among junior high school students, so as to provide references for the prevention of mobile phone dependence and the improvement of self control among junior high school students.
Methods:
From April to May 2024, a stratified random cluster sampling method was used to select a total of 2 311 students from grade 7 to grade 9 in three public junior high schools in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. Latent profile analysis was conducted to identify the latent profiles of mobile phone dependence and self control among junior high school students. Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the correlation between mobile phone dependence and self control, and Chi square test was used to analyze the distribution differences of latent profiles of adolescents across different demographic characteristics. Multiple Logistic regression analysis was applied to explore the association between mobile phone dependence, self control, and physical exercise.
Results:
Four latent profiles of mobile phone dependence and self control were identified: low dependence-moderate self control group ( n =885, 38.3%), moderate dependence-low self control group ( n =910, 39.4%), high dependence-no self control group ( n =232, 10.0%), and no dependence-high self control group ( n =284, 12.3%). Significant differences were observed in the distribution of latent profiles across gender, grade and only child status ( χ 2=10.85, 35.72, 13.85, P <0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that, after controlling for demographic variables, compared with the low dependence-moderate self control group, physical exercise was negatively associated with the moderate dependence-low self control group ( OR =0.79) and the high dependence-no self control group ( OR =0.81), while positively associated with the no dependence-high self control group ( OR =1.58) ( P <0.01).
Conclusions
The influence of physical exercise on junior high school students different potential profile types of mobile phone dependence and self control is different. Schools and families should adopt targeted physical exercise interventions based on the characteristics of different profiles to promote the physical and mental health of junior high school students.

Cancer Research on Prevention and Treatment 2025;52(4):305-312
Objective To investigate the relationship between cyclin A2 (CCNA2) and the prognosis of colon cancer, and its possible mechanism from the perspective of immune infiltration. Methods We downloaded the transcriptome data of colon cancer patients from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. Clinicopathological feature analysis and survival analysis were performed based on the expression levels of CCNA2. A total of 75 specimens of colon cancer and normal tissues were collected, and the expression level of CCNA2 was analyzed using immunohistochemical methods. Multivariate analysis was conducted to explore its relationship with clinicopathological features. Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) was used to assess the potential molecular functions of CCNA2 in colon cancer. CIBERSORT algorithm was applied to calculate the correlation between CCNA2 and immune-cell infiltration in colon cancer. Results Database and immunohistochemical analyses indicated that CCNA2 was expressed at a significantly higher level in colon cancer tissues than normal tissues (P<0.001). The overall survival, disease-specific survival, and progression-free interval were all longer in the group with high CCNA2 expression than the group with low expression (all P<0.05). In tumor tissues, the expression level of CCNA2 decreased with increased pathological and TNM stages (P<0.05). The expression level of CCNA2 in normal tissues was consistently lower than that in colon cancer tissues across all clinical stages (all P<0.001). GSEA suggested that Wnt/β-catenin, KRAS, and other signaling pathways were enriched when CCNA2 was lowly expressed. CIBERSORT analysis revealed an increase in the infiltration of immune cells such as regulatory T cells and macrophages M0 when CCNA2 expression was low. Conclusion CCNA2 is highly expressed in colon cancer and closely associated with grade of pathology and TNM stage. It may recruit regulatory T cells through the KRAS and Wnt/β-catenin pathways, thereby reducing immune-cell infiltration and promoting colon cancer progression, leading to poor prognosis.

There is no unified international guidelines or consensus on seizures and epilepsy following acute stroke reperfusion therapy so far.In this review,we briefly summarize its definitions and mechanisms.Post stroke epilepsy after reperfusion treatment is defined as patients with ischemic stroke who have received intravenous thrombolysis and/or endovascular therapy, without other definitive causes or epilepsy history before stroke, have at least two epileptic seizures occurred within 7 days of stroke onset,or at least one epileptic seizures occurred within 30 days of stroke onset. The incidence rate of epilepsy after intravenous thrombolysis is about 6.4%-20.6%,and arterial thrombectomy is about 5%.The pathophysiological mechanism of post stroke epilepsy after reperfusion treatment may be related to local hyperfusion, epileptogenic properties of tPA and hemorrhagic transformation.Higher stroke severity, cortical involvement, middle cerebral artery infarction, and early post-stroke seizures may be predictive factors for post-stroke epilepsy after reperfusion therapy.Levetiracetam and lamotrigine may be effective drugs for post-stroke epilepsy after reperfusion therapy.Sustained seizures after thrombolysis may increase the risk of death.

Background and purpose:Radical surgery after neoadjuvant immunotherapy combined with chemotherapy(nICT)in patients with locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(LAESCC)has good efficacy and safety, and it can improve the patients'pathological complete remission(pCR)rate, main pathologic response(MPR)rate and R0 resection rate. The prognosis of patients with pCR/MPR after nICT is significantly better compared with patients without pCR.The prognosis of patients achieving pCR/MPR after neoadjuvant therapy has been demonstrated to be significantly better than that of patients with non-pCR/MPR.Therefore,finding predictive factors of pCR/MPR is beneficial for us to screen out the advantageous populations for combination therapy. The aim of this study was to investigate the value of clinical data of patients with LAESCC before and after nICT in predicting the degree of remission of different pathologies after radical surgery following neoadjuvant treatment and to observe the safety of the treatment. Methods:Data of patients with locally LAESCC who underwent radical surgery after nICT from January 2019 to June 2023 at the Affiliated Hospital of Chuanbei Medical College were collected. The clinical data of all patients as well as some blood, inflammation and nutritional indexes of patients before and after neoadjuvant therapy were collected, and the patients were grouped according to the different degrees of pathological remission after neoadjuvant therapy.Data were analyzed by multi-group comparative analysis of variance(ANOVA)and LSD-t post-hoc test.We explored the factors that had an influence on the different degrees of pathological remission, and collected and recorded the patients'adverse reactions during neoadjuvant therapy as well as their eventual surgeries. Results:Data of 62 patients with LAESCC treated with nICT who underwent radical surgery were collected.Only one patient showed grade 4 myelosuppression during neoadjuvant therapy, and the rest of the patients had adverse reactions≤grade 2.The R0 resection rate of the surgery was 98.39%.The present study was compared with the previous studies of LAESCC treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical surgery performed in Affiliated Hospital of Chuanbei Medical College.Compared with the previous studies conducted in our center,no significant difference was observed in terms of operation time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative hospitalization time and surgical complications. The postoperative pathologic results showed that the pCR rate was 22.58%(14/62),and the MPR rate was 40.32%(25/62).According to the different tumor regression grade(TRG)after surgery, patients were divided into 3 groups of TRG1,TRG2 and TRG3-4,and differences in the platelet distribution width(PDW)before neoadjuvant therapy and the preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)after neoadjuvant therapy were statistically significant among the 3 groups(P<0.05).Further intra-group two-by-two comparisons of PDW before neoadjuvant therapy and NLR before surgery after neoadjuvant therapy were performed for the three groups of patients, respectively, and it was found that the PDW and NLR in the TRG2 group were lower compared with the TRG3-4 group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Radical surgery after nICT treatment in patients with LAESCC can have high R0 resection rate,pCR rate,MPR rate and reliable safety, and the lower PDW of patients before neoadjuvant therapy and the lower NLR of patients before surgery after neoadjuvant therapy predict better pathological remission efficacy.

Phytoremediation plays an important role in the treatment of heavy metal pollution in soil. In order to elucidate the mechanism of salicylic acid (SA) on copper absorption, seedlings from Xuzhou (with strong Cu-tolerance) and Weifang Helianthus tuberosus cultivars (with weak Cu-tolerance) were selected for pot culture experiments. 1 mmol/L SA was sprayed upon 300 mg/kg soil copper stress, and the photosynthesis, leaf antioxidant system, several essential mineral nutrients and the changes of root upon copper stress were analyzed to explore the mechanism of copper resistance. The results showed that Pn, Tr, Gs and Ci upon copper stress decreased significantly compared to the control group. Meanwhile, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and carotenoid decreased with significant increase in initial fluorescence (F0), maximum photochemical quantum yield of PSⅡ (Fv/Fm), electron transfer rate (ETR) and photochemical quenching coefficient (qP) content all decreased. The ascorbic acid (AsA) content was decreased, the glutathione (GSH) value was increased, the superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) activity in the leaves were decreased, and the peroxidase (POD) activity was significantly increased. SA increased the Cu content in the ground and root system, and weakened the nutrient uptake capacity of K, Ca, Mg, and Zn in the root stem and leaves. Spray of exogenous SA can maintain the opening of leaf stomata, improve the adverse effect of copper on photosynthetic pigment and PSⅡ reaction center. Mediating the SOD and APX activity started the AsA-GSH cycle process, effectively regulated the antioxidant enzyme system in chrysanthemum taro, significantly reduced the copper content of all parts of the plant, and improved the ion exchange capacity in the body. External SA increased the content of the negative electric group on the root by changing the proportion of components in the root, promoted the absorption of mineral nutrient elements and the accumulation of osmoregulatory substances, strengthened the fixation effect of the root on metal copper, and avoided its massive accumulation in the H. tuberosus body, so as to alleviate the inhibitory effect of copper on plant growth. The study revealed the physiological regulation of SA upon copper stress, and provided a theoretical basis for planting H. tuberosus to repair soil copper pollution.

Objective:To investigate the methylation status of SDC2, PPP2R5C and ADHFE1 genes in stool and their values in the screening of colorectal cancer and precancerous lesions. Methods:From August 2020 to March 2021, 64 patients with colorectal cancer, 72 patients with adenoma, 33 patients with hyperplastic polyps and 59 healthy people were recruited from Qingdao Central Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University, and the morning stool samples were collected from the research subjects. The genomic DNA was extracted and modified with sulfite. The methylation status of SDC2, PPP2R5C and ADHFE1 genes were detected by methylation specific polymerase chain reaction (MSP), and the fecal occult blood test (FOBT) was performed. Taking the pathological results as the gold standard, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and area under the curve (AUC) were used to compare the effect of combined detection of methylation of three genes and FOBT in predicting colorectal cancer and precancerous lesions. R-Studio software was used to construct a nomogram for the prediction of colorectal cancer with combined detection of gene methylation in stool and other clinical features, and the calibration and validation were performed. Results:The positive rates of combined detection of methylation of SDC2, PPP2R5C and ADHFE1 genes in stool were higher than those of FOBT in colorectal cancer+adenoma [74.3% (101/136) vs. 47.1% (64/136), χ2 = 23.20, P = 0.001], colorectal cancer [90.6% (58/64) vs. 70.3% (45/64), χ2 = 8.91, P = 0.003] and adenoma [59.7% (43/72) vs. 26.4% (19/72), χ2 = 14.43, P = 0.002]. There was no significant difference in the positive rates in hyperplastic polyps [21.2% (7/33) vs. 6.1% (2/33), χ2 = 0.12, P = 0.125] and healthy controls [10.2% (6/59) vs. 8.5% (5/59), χ2 = 4.01, P = 1.000]. The combined detection of gene methylation was better than FOBT in the prediction of colorectal cancer + adenoma [AUC: 0.85 (95% CI 0.80-0.91) vs. 0.71 (95% CI 0.64-0.78), P < 0.05], especially in the prediction of adenoma [AUC: 0.82 (95% CI 0.74-0.89) vs 0.64 (95% CI 0.57-0.69), P < 0.001]. The sensitivity and specificity of ADHFE1 gene methylation status in predicting colorectal cancer were high (90.6% and 96.6%). In colorectal cancer patients over 50 years old, the positive rate of combined detection of gene methylation was higher than that of FOBT [90.2% (55/61) vs. 68.9% (42/61), P < 0.05]. The nomogram calibration curve for predicting colorectal cancer constructed based on the combined detection of gene methylation and each clinical feature showed a high degree of concordance between the predicted and observed diagnostic performance of colorectal cancer. Conclusions:The methylation levels of SDC2, PPP2R5C AND ADHFE1 genes in stool are increased in patients with colorectal cancer or adenoma. The combined detection of gene methylation is expected to be a non-invasive method for the screening of colorectal cancer and precancerous lesions.
