OBJECTIVE:
To observe the clinical effect of Tiaoshen Guben holistic therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion (holistic treatment with acupuncture and moxibustion by adjusting the mind and consolidating the root) on comorbidity of depression and insomnia.
METHODS:
Twenty-four patients with comorbidity of depression and insomnia were included and treated with Tiaoshen Guben holistic therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion. Acupuncture was applied to Baihui (GV20), Guanyuan (CV4), bilateral Neiguan (PC6), etc. The refined moxibustion therapy was delivered at Zhongwan (CV12), Qihai (CV6), bilateral Yongquan (KI1), etc. Subcutaneous embedding therapy with thumb-tack needle was adopted at bilateral Xinshu (BL15), bilateral Pishu (BL20), etc. The intervention was operated once every other day, 3 treatments a week, and for 6 consecutive weeks. Before and after treatment completion, and in 1 month after treatment, Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and Hamilton's depression scale (HAMD-17) were adopted to assess sleep quality and depression symptoms in the patients, respectively. Before and after treatment completion, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), the functional connectivity (FC) of locus coeruleus (LC) in brain regions was evaluated; and the levels of serum norepinephrine (NE), cortisol (CORT), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and corticotropin releasing hormone (CRH) were detected.
RESULTS:
Compared with the scores before treatment, PSQI and HAMD-17 scores after treatment completion and in 1 month after treatment were reduced (P<0.01); and strengthened FC was revealed between the right LC and the pars opercularis of the left inferior frontal gyrus, as well as the lateral occipital lobe region. After treatment completion, serum NE was elevated (P<0.01), the levels of CORT, ACTH and CRH were reduced (P<0.01). Before and after treatment completion, the difference in FC between the right LC and the pars opercularis of the left inferior frontal gyrus was negatively correlated with the differences in PSQI score (r = -0.484, P = 0.016) and HAMD-17 score (r = -0.233, P = 0.027).
CONCLUSION
Tiaoshen Guben holistic therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion can effectively alleviate depression symptoms and improve sleep quality in the patients with comorbidity of depression and insomnia, which is obtained probably through reducing the levels of serum CORT, ACTH and CRH, increasing serum NE, strengthening the FC of the right LC with the pars opercularis of the left inferior frontal gyrus and the lateral occipital lobe region.

Early correction of childhood malocclusion is timely managing morphological, structural, and functional abnormalities at different dentomaxillofacial developmental stages. The selection of appropriate imaging examination and comprehensive radiological diagnosis and analysis play an important role in early correction of childhood malocclusion. This expert consensus is a collaborative effort by multidisciplinary experts in dentistry across the nation based on the current clinical evidence, aiming to provide general guidance on appropriate imaging examination selection, comprehensive and accurate imaging assessment for early orthodontic treatment patients.

Objective:To establish a comprehensive and detailed evaluation index system for clinical practice bases of nursing graduate students majoring in midwifery, providing reference for promoting the construction of clinical practice bases for nursing graduate students majoring in midwifery in China. Methods:Based on the theoretical framework of international midwifery practice basic skills, an evaluation index system for clinical practice bases of nursing graduate students majoring in midwifery was established through literature analysis and Delphi method. Analytic hierarchy process was used to calculate the weights of indicators at all levels. Results:This study conducted two rounds of consultation with 20 experts. In the two rounds of consultation, the positivity coefficients of experts were 84.38% and 74.07%, and the authority coefficients of the expert groups were 0.91 and 0.94, respectively. The total Cronbach's α coefficients of the index system were 0.930 and 0.965, respectively, and the Kendall harmony coefficients of the overall indicators were 0.230 and 0.297 ( P<0.01). The final evaluation index system for clinical practice bases of nursing graduate students majoring in midwifery included five primary indicators, 14 secondary indicators, and 76 connotation indicators. Conclusions:Based on the service purpose of maternal and child health and the functional positioning of the base, this study constructs a scientific and reliable evaluation index system for clinical practice bases of nursing graduate students majoring in midwifery.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2023;29(9):1211-1218
Objective:To construct the evaluation system of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) practice base for master of nursing specialist. Methods:The evaluation indicators at all levels were initially formulated through literature review and semi-structured interviews. Using the sampling method, 25 experts were selected from August to October 2021 for correspondence. The evaluation system of ICU practice base for master of nursing specialist was finally determined by Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process. Results:A total of two rounds of consultation were conducted. The expert positive coefficients were 88% (22/25) and 91% (20/22), the expert authority coefficients were 0.953 and 0.948, and the Kendall's W were 0.211 and 0.210 respectively with statistical differences ( P<0.01). The final evaluation system of ICU practice base for master of nursing specialist included 4 first-level indicators, 15 second-level indicators and 103 third-level indicators and evaluation contents. Conclusions:The evaluation system of ICU practice base for master of nursing specialist is scientific, reliable and comprehensive, which can provide reference for formulating the evaluation criteria of clinical practice base for nursing graduate students.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2022;28(10):1275-1280
Objective:To translate the Treatment Burden Questionnaire (TBQ) into Chinese, and test its reliability and validity. Methods:The original questionnaire was translated, synthesized and back-translated according to the Brislin model. From March to July 2021, convenience sampling was used to select 240 elderly people from the 6 designated nursing homes for the aged of Qingdao Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau as the research object to conduct a questionnaire survey. The content validity index ( CVI) and construct validity were used to evaluate the validity of the scale, and the construct validity was evaluated by exploratory factor analysis. Cronbach's alpha coefficient and test-retest reliability were used to test the reliability of the scale. Results:A total of 240 questionnaires were distributed in this study, and 220 valid questionnaires were recovered. The Chinese version of TBQ included 15 items. A total of three common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 58.15%. The item-level CVI of the Chinese version of the TBQ was from 0.80 to 1.00, and the scale-level CVI was 0.91. The Cronbach's α of the total scale was 0.71, and the test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.77. Conclusions:The Chinese version of the TBQ has good reliability and validity, and can be used to assess the treatment burden in the elderly under the Chinese cultural background.

Objective:To develop the "Internet +" Long-term Care Service Demand Questionnaire for the Disabled Elderly at Home and test its reliability and validity. Methods:A test version of the questionnaire was formed through the literature review, expert consultation and pre-survey. From June 2020 to January 2021, the multi-stage stratified sampling was adopted to select 251 elderly disabled persons at home in Qingdao for testing and test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. Results:The final questionnaire had a total of 27 items. A total of 7 common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 65.295%. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total questionnaire was 0.891, and the half-reliability coefficient was 0.809, and the test-retest reliability was 0.859.Conclusions:The "Internet +" Long-term Care Service Demand Questionnaire for Home Disabled Elderly has good reliability and validity, and can be used to reflect the current status of the demand for "Internet +" long-term care services for the disabled at home.
