Medical institutions, with their clinical practice foundation and abundant human use experience data, have become important carriers for the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and the "cradles" of the preparation of new TCM. To effectively promote the transformation of new TCM originating from the TCM clinical practice in medical institutions and establish an effective evaluation index system for the transformation of new TCM conforming to the characteristics of TCM, consensus experts adopted the literature research, questionnaire survey, Delphi method, etc. By focusing on the policy and technical evaluation of new TCM originating from the TCM clinical practice in medical institutions, a comprehensive evaluation from the dimensions of drug safety, efficacy, feasibility, and characteristic advantages was conducted, thus forming a comprehensive evaluation system with four primary indicators and 37 secondary indicators. The expert consensus reached aims to encourage medical institutions at all levels to continuously improve the high-quality research and development and transformation of new TCM originating from the TCM clinical practice in medical institutions and targeted at clinical needs, so as to provide a decision-making basis for the preparation, selection, cultivation, and transformation of new TCM for medical institutions, improve the development efficiency of new TCM, and precisely respond to the public medication needs.

National Journal of Andrology 2025;31(8):698-702
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the efficacy of 3D-printed navigation guided pudendal lead implantation on nervous regulation of lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS) in male patients.
METHODS:
Twenty-eight male patients who underwent perineal nervous regulation treatment for LUTS in Gongli Hospital of Pudong New Area from October 2021 to October 2023 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The technology assisted with 3D-printed navigation to regulate the genital nerves was used in observation group. And the patients in control group were treated with regulation of the genital nerves by routine puncture. Operation time of puncture, number of surgical punctures, and stimulator debugging time compared between the two groups. The improvement of postoperative symptoms and surgical complications of patients in the observation group were recorded as well.
RESULT:
A total of 12 male LUTS patients were included in the observation group, with an average age of 36.5±6.5 years, including 7 cases of frequent micturition, 3 cases of perineal pain, and 2 cases of dysuria. Four patients showed no significant improvement in symptoms, including two patients with pain and two cases of frequent micturition who did not undergo secondary surgery. While the other eight patients showed significant improvement in symptoms. The average time for successful puncture in control group was (21.13 ± 4.53) minutes, which was longer than that of the 3D-printed navigation group ([10.32 ± 3.42] min) significantly (P<0.05). The average number of punctures in the ordinary puncture group was 5.62 ± 1.43, which was significantly higher than that in the 3D-printed navigation group (1.5 ± 0.56). There was no statistically significant difference in the average time for stimulator debugging between the two groups of patients. The conversion rate of the 3D-printed navigation group in the second phase was 66.7%, which was higher than that (37.5%) significantly (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION
3D printing navigation of pudendal nerve electrode wire implantation can improve the accuracy of electrode implantation and the conversion rate to a certain extent, which has the advantages of reducing the difficulty of surgery.

In-depth study of the components of polymyxins is the key to controlling the quality of this class of antibiotics. Similarities and variations of components present significant analytical challenges. A two-dimensional (2D) liquid chromatography-mass spectrometr (LC-MS) method was established for screening and comprehensive profiling of compositions of the antibiotic colistimethate sodium (CMS). A high concentration of phosphate buffer mobile phase was used in the first-dimensional LC system to get the components well separated. For efficient and high-accuracy screening of CMS, a targeted method based on a self-constructed high resolution (HR) mass spectrum database of CMS components was established. The database was built based on the commercial MassHunter Personal Compound Database and Library (PCDL) software and its accuracy of the compound matching result was verified with six known components before being applied to genuine sample screening. On this basis, the unknown peaks in the CMS chromatograms were deduced and assigned. The molecular formula, group composition, and origins of a total of 99 compounds, of which the combined area percentage accounted for more than 95% of CMS components, were deduced by this 2D-LC-MS method combined with the MassHunter PCDL. This profiling method was highly efficient and could distinguish hundreds of components within 3 h, providing reliable results for quality control of this kind of complex drugs.

OBJECTIVE:
To determine the prevalence of lumbar spondylolysis (LS) and the proportion of spondylolytic spondylolisthesis (SS) in China, and to evaluate the musculoskeletal status of patients with LS and SS.
METHODS:
Spine Computed Tomography (CT) images were collected from community populations aged 40 and above in a nationwide multi-center project. LS was diagnosed, and SS was graded by an experienced radiologist. Bone mineral density (BMD) and paraspinal muscle parameters were quantified based on CT images.
RESULTS:
One hundred and seventeen patients of a total of 3,317 individuals were diagnosed with LS, corresponding to a prevalence rate of 3.53%. 63 of the 1,214 males (5.18%) and 54 of the 2,103 females (2.57%) were diagnosed with LS. SS occurred in 64/121 vertebrae (52.89%). BMD was not associated with LS ( P = 0.341). The L5 extensor paraspinal muscle density was higher in the LS group than in the non-LS group. In the LS group, patients with SS had a smaller L5 paraspinal extensor muscle cross-sectional area than those without SS ( P = 0.003).
CONCLUSION
The prevalence of LS in Chinese adults was 3.53%, with prevalence rates of 5.18% in males and 2.57% in females. Patients with LS have higher muscle density, whereas those with SS have smaller muscle cross-sectional areas at the L5 level.

Aim To observe the changes in hippocam-pal 2A subunit of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor(NR2A)before and after the learning and memory training, and then investigate the neuropharmacological effects of NR2A by microinjection of NVP-AAM077(NR2A specific antagonist)into the hippocampal den-teta gyrus, based on the spatial learning and memory behavior paradigm induced by Mirror water maze train-ing.Methods Three-month old SD rats were random-ly divided into the training and non-training group, and the rats in the two groups were randomly divided into control group and NVP-AAM077 group(NVP).The expressions of NR2A,brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),transcriptional activator 4(ATF4)and eu-karyotic transcription initiation factor 2 α(eIF2α)phosphorylation levels in denteta gyrus were detected by Western blot. Then, integrated stress response in-hibitor ISRIB was microinjected into the dentate gyrus after the NVP,the expression of ATF4 and p-eIF2αlevels,and the spatial memory abilities were detected. Results Compared with non-training,behavioral training promoted the expression of NR2A and BDNF of rats in denteta gyrus, and this effect could be inhibi-ted by NVP,which significantly increased the expres-sion of p-eIF2α and ATF4.Injection of ISRIB into denteta gyrus significantly inhibited the expression of ATF4,and reversed the spatial memory impairment caused by NVP.Conclusion NVP-induced hipp-ocampal dentate gyrus NR2A-mediated spatial learning and memory impairment in rats may be related to hipp-ocampal integrated stress response.

In recent years, the prevalence of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae(CRKP)infection has become a global public health issue.Ceftazidime/avibactam(CAZ/AVI)has been approved as a novel antimicrobial agent for the treatment of healthcare-associated pneumonia/ventilator-associated pneumonia, bloodstream infection, infection after kidney transplantation, and severe infection combined with liver cirrhosis. However, the use of CAZ/AVI has also led to the emergence of drug-resistant strains. The major mechanisms of drug-resistance include over-expression of blaKPC gene, mutation of β-lactamase and amino acids at key sites, changes in cell permeability caused by loss of membrane porin, and over-expression of efflux pump. This article reviews the research progress of CAZ/AVI in the treatment of CRKP infection, providing reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
