Objective To provide a longitudinal evaluation tool based on the frequency of aggressive be-havior for the aggression assessment of schizophrenia patients.Methods The Life History of Aggression was translated and revised to form the Life History of Aggression-Chinese Version(LHA-CV)based on 369 patients diagnosed with schizophrenia in the Chengdu community and compulsory medical insti-tution.The reliability of LHA-CV was analyzed by means of split-half reliability,test-retest reliability and inter-evaluator consistency.The validity was analyzed by item analysis,construct validity and crite-rion validity.Results Item analysis found that LHA-CV had good homogeneity and discriminant validity.Exploratory factor analysis found that the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin(KMO)test value was 0.80,and the Bartlett's sphericity test χ2=1203.46(P<0.05),and it revealed four factors including non-physical ag-gression,physical aggression,self-directed aggression and antisocial behavior/consequences.The factor loadings for all 11 items were greater than 0.40.Confirmatory factor analysis was performed on the factor model,Chi-square degree of freedom(χ2/df)was 3.61,root mean square error of approxima-tion(RMSEA)was 0.07,goodness-of-fit index(GFI)was 0.92,comparative fit index(CFI)was 0.90,incremental fit index(IFI)was 0.90,and the discriminant validity of each factor was good.The criterion validity test showed the total score of LHA-CV was positively correlated with the aggressive behavior level of MacArthur Community Violence Instrument,the total score of Buss-Perry Aggression Scale,and the score of Antisocial Personality Disorder Subscale of Personality Diagnostic Question-naire-4th Edition Plus(PDQ-4+_ASPD,P<0.05).The Cronbach's α coefficient of non-physical aggres-sion,physical aggression,self-directed aggression,antisocial behavior/consequences and LHA-CV total score were 0.82,0.73,0.74,0.56 and 0.79,respectively.The test-retest reliability,Spearman-Brown split-half reliability and intra-class correlation coefficient of LHA-CV total score were 0.82(P<0.05),0.66 and 0.99,respectively.Conclusion LHA-CV has good reliability and validity,and can be used as an evaluation tool for longitudinally assessing aggressive behavior in schizophrenia patients.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of therapy of clearing heat,percolating dampness and lowering turbidity combined with Silibin Meglumine Tablets in the treatment of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)patients with abnormal alanine aminotransferase(ALT)level of damp-heat accumulation type.Methods A retrospective study was conducted.According to the medication,80 patients with NASH with abnormal ALT level of damp-heat accumulation type were divided into control group and observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Silibin Meglumine Tablets,and the observation group was treated with therapy of clearing heat,percolating dampness and lowering turbidity on the basis of treatment for the control group.The course of treatment covered 12 weeks.The changes of liver function indicators of ALT,aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and gamma glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT),blood lipid indicators of total cholesterol(CHOL)and triglyceride(TRIG),and the degree of hepatic steatosis in the two groups were observed before and after treatment.After treatment,the clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were evaluated.Results(1)After 12 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%(38/40),and that of the control group was 77.50%(31/40).The curative effect of the observation group was significantly superior to that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).(2)After treatment,the levels of ALT,AST and GGT in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the decrease of ALT,AST and GGT in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05).(3)After treatment,the levels of CHOL and TRIG in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the decrease of CHOL and TRIG in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05).(4)After treatment,the degree of hepatic steatosis in the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and the decrease of the degree of hepatic steatosis in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05).(5)During the treatment,no obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups,indicating high safety.Conclusion The therapy of clearing heat,percolating dampness and lowering turbidity combined with Silibin Meglumine Tablets exerts certain effect in the treatment of NASH patients with abnormal ALT level of damp-heat accumulation type,and the therapy can significantly enhance the clinical efficacy of Silibin Meglumine Tablets alone for NASH.

Objective To investigate the effects of thermosensitive moxibustion on psoriasis model rats'skin;To discuss its mechanism based on JAK3/STAT3 signaling pathway.Methods 5%imiquimod cream was used on the skin of rats back and along the route of the Sanjiao meridian of hand-shaoyang for psoriasis modeling.The SD rats were randomly divided into blank group,model group and treaament group.The treatment group received moxibustion therapy at"Waiguan"for 40 minutes each time for 7 consecutive days,and were divided into moxibustion group and thermosensitive moxibustion group according to sensitization state.HE staining was used to observe pathological changes in skin lesions,and ELISA was used to detect serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-1 and IL-23 levels.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the positive expressions of p-JAK3 and p-STAT3 in the skin lesion tissue,and RT-qPCR was used to detect the mRNA expressions of JAK3,STAT3,IL-17A and IL-17F in the skin lesion tissue.Results Compared with the normal group,model group rats were with protruding and thickened skin lesions accompanied by extensive infiltration of inflammatory cells,the contents of serum TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-23 significantly increased(P<0.01),and the positive expressions of p-JAK3 and p-STAT3 in the skin lesion tissue significantly increased(P<0.01),the mRNA expressions of JAK3,STAT3,IL-17A and IL-17F significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the thickness of the spinous layer in the skin lesions of rats in the thermosensitive moxibustion group was reduced,and there was no significant infiltration of inflammatory cells.The contents of serum TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-23 significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the positive expressions of p-JAK3 and p-STAT3 in skin lesion tissue significantly decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01),the mRNA expressions of JAK3,STAT3,IL-17A and IL-17F significantly decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01).Compared with the moxibustion group,the serum contents of TNF-α and IL-1β in the thermosensitive moxibustion group were significantly decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the positive expression of p-JAK3 in the skin lesion tissue was significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion Thermosensitive moxibustion can improve the pathological symptoms of psoriasis model rats.Its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of the JAK3/STAT3 signaling pathway,reduction of regulatory T cell-17 differentiation and secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines.

The study explored the pathological mechanism of doxorubicin chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity and the intervention methods of traditional Chinese medicine. BALB/c mice were selected to establish tumor-bearing mouse models by orthotopic injection of 4T1 triple-negative breast cancer cells. After randomization, the mice were treated with doxorubicin chemotherapy or doxorubicin chemotherapy + Kaixin San(KXS). The lesions in the prefrontal cortex of mice were observed by pathological examination, and the lesion information was obtained by long non-coding RNA sequencing. The occurrence of lesions was determined by Western blot and biochemical indicators. In addition, neuroblastoma cells and microglia cells were used to construct in vitro models, and drug-containing serum and p-AMPK dephosphorylation inhibitors were used to further verify the accuracy of animal experiments. Pathological results showed that KXS could alleviate doxorubicin-induced neuronal degeneration in the prefrontal cortex. The long non-coding RNA sequencing suggested that neuronal degeneration and the intervention process of KXS were related to ferroptosis, immune diseases, AMPK signaling pathway, etc. Western blot and biochemical indicators confirmed that this process was directly related to the activation of the AMPK/HIF-1α/ACSL4 signaling pathway to alleviate ferroptosis of neurons and immune response of glial cells. In conclusion, KXS could alleviate doxorubicin-induced neurotoxicity by activating the AMPK signaling pathway and reducing the ferroptosis of neurons and immune response of glial cells.

In recent years， with the changes of population structure and the aggravation of aging， the prevalence of osteoporosis is increasing year by year. Osteoporosis poses great impacts on the body and family life of the patients and increases the burden on the society. Therefore， the research on osteoporosis is urgent and significant. The imbalance between osteoblasts， osteocytes， and osteoclasts causes abnormal bone metabolism， which destroys the fine structure of bone and increases bone fragility， thus increasing the risk of fracture. Although the pathogenesis of osteoporosis is complex， researchers have confirmed that the imbalance of the endocrine system directly or indirectly promotes the occurrence and development of osteoporosis. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is a treasure of Chinese traditional culture and plays a key role in safeguarding the public health. With unique therapeutic effects and advantages， TCM has been widely accepted. Chinese medicines， moxibustion， acupuncture and other TCM therapies have play a unique role in the treatment of osteoporosis. Particularly， TCM prevention and treatment of osteoporosis by regulating the endocrine system has received extensive attention. By reviewing relevant literature， this paper introduces the research progress in the TCM modulation of bone metabolism and alleviation of bone loss by regulating estrogen， calcitonin， and parathyroid hormone in the endocrine system and affecting the hypothalamus capable of regulating these hormones， aiming to provide ideas for the TCM treatment of osteoporosis.

With the aging of population， osteoporosis has become one of the main diseases endangering the health of the elderly in China. Therefore， the research on osteoporosis has become a hot spot. Since Chinese medicines demonstrate significant therapeutic effects on osteoporosis， this issue is attracting increasing attention from researchers， especially in the deciphering of the molecular mechanism. This paper introduces the mechanism of the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis by Chinese medicines via the mitogen-activated protein kinase （MAPK） signaling pathway， aiming to provide a theoretical basis for deciphering the mechanism of Chinese medicines in the treatment of osteoporosis and promoting their clinical application. MAPK signaling pathway mainly involves p38 MAPK， extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 （ERK1/2）， c-Jun N-terminal kinase （JNK）， and extracellular signal-regulated kinase 5 （ERK5）. Studies have shown that these proteins play a role in the progression of osteoporosis by regulating cell proliferation， differentiation， and apoptosis. Chinese medicines as a unique therapy with Chinese characteristics has definite efficacy， high safety， and mild side effects. Researchers have proved by experiments that the extracts or compounds of Chinese medicines can significantly mitigate osteoporosis by regulating the proteins involved in the MAPK signaling pathway. Therefore， this article reviews the relevant studies with focus on these proteins.

Nine secondary metabolites(S)-5-hydroxy-4-methylchroman-2-one(1), 4-methoxynaphthalene-1,5-diol(2), 8-methoxynaphthalene-1,7-diol(3), 1,8-dimethoxynaphthalene(4),(2R,4S)-2,3-dihydro-2-methyl-benzopyran-4,5-diol(5),(2R,4R)-3,4-dihydro-4-methoxy-2-methyl-2H-1-benzopyran-5-ol(6), 7-O-α-D-ribosyl-2,3-dihydro-5-hydroxy-2-methyl-chromen-4-one(7),(R)-3-methoxyl-1-(2,6-dihydroxyphenyl)-butan-1-one(8) and helicascolide A(9) were isolated from endophytic fungus Cladosporium sp. JJM22 by using column chromatographies of silica gel and ODS, and semi-preparative HPLC. Their structures were analyzed on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical data, especially NMR and MS. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activities by examining the inhibitory activities on nitric oxide(NO) production induced by lipopolysaccharide in mouse macrophage RAW264.7 cells in vitro. Compounds 2-4 showed inhibitory activities.

Objectives: To investigate the prevalence and associated risk factors of tinnitus in Sichuan and Chongqing. Methods: We designed a tinnitus epidemiological questionnaire. The multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling methods was applied to obtain study subjects in six areas (Nanchong, Jiangjin, Fengdu, Yunyang, Suining and Ya'an), which were selected for epidemiological investigation. Home visit completion of epidemiological questionnaires was conducted. The trained investigators guided the respondents to fill in the tinnitus epidemiological questionnaires, and the epidemiological status of six areas on prevalence and risk factor was investigated. SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: Sampling population were 10 289, in which 9 273 were valid questionnaires. There were 4 281 males and 4 992 females, with an average age of 47.3 years, among which 34.83% (3 230/9 273) had tinnitus. 3.99% (370/9 273) were diagnosed with bothersome tinnitus. In a multivariable logistic regression mod, the following factors were associated with onsetting of tinnitus: sleep disorder [Odds Ratio(OR)=3.74] and noise exposure(OR=1.99). The risk of disease was lowest in the age of 30-40 years old, while the risk of disease was higher for people under 30 and over 40. In another multivariable logistic regression mode, the following factors were associated with having bothersome tinnitus: older people were more likely to suffer from tinnitus, sleep disorders (OR=4.68) and noise exposure (OR=1.56). Conclusions: The prevalence of tinnitus in Sichuan and Chongqing is about 34.83%, but most of the tinnitus is short-lived and has low loudness, which will not affect the patients. Only a small number of patients with tinnitus (3.99%) persist and affect their health and need treatment. The occurrence and exacerbation of tinnitus may be related to sleep, age, and noise exposure.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the gingival thickness and gingival biotype of gingival recession teeth of Chinese population. METHODS: A total of 112 non-molar teeth with gingival recession in 34 patients were included. Direct measurement, cone-beam computerized tomography (CBCT) measurement and periodontal probe method were used to evaluate gingival thickness and biotype. Gingival thickness was measured at 2 mm apical to the gingival margin. Direct measurement was performed with a caliper of 0.01 mm resolution and anesthesia needles attached to silicone disk stops. Gingival biotype was assessed by sulcus probing, if the periodontal probe was visible through the gingival tissue, the gingival biotype was thin; If not visible, the gingival biotype was thick. The differences of gingival thickness among different gingival biotype, tooth site and gingival recession type were analyzed respectively. Besides, the results of CBCT measurement was analyzed compared with the direct measurement. RESULTS: The average gingival thickness of non-molar recession teeth was (1.17±0.41) mm. The average gingival thickness of thick and thin biotype group were (1.38±0.4) mm and (0.97±0.30) mm, respectively, with statistically significant difference (P<0.001). The median of gingival thickness was 1.1 mm. Using 1.1 mm as the cut-off value of thick and thin gingival thickness group, the results matched well with the gingival biotype classification results by periodontal probe method (P=1.000). The average gingival thickness of maxillary teeth was significantly thicker than that of the mandibular teeth. They were (1.39±3.44) mm and (1.01±0.31) mm, respectively (P<0.001). The mean gingival thickness of MillerI, II and III degree gingival recession teeth were (1.15±0.34) mm, (0.83±0.17) mm and (1.26±0.56) mm, respectively, without statistically significant difference (P=0.205). The gingival thickness measurement results between CBCT method and direct measurement were without statistically significant difference (P=0.206). CONCLUSION In the non-molar gingival recession teeth, the cut-off value of gingival thickness to classify thick and thin biotype of Chinese population was 1.1 mm. The average gingival thickness of the maxillary teeth was significantly thicker than that of the mandibular teeth. Besides, CBCT measurement was an accuracy method for evaluating facial gingival thickness.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical outcomes of vestibular incision subperiosteal tunnel access (VISTA) with connective tissue graft (CTG) in the treatment of Miller classes I and II localized gingival recession. METHODS: Ten patients with 10 Miller classes I and II localized gingival recessions were enrolled in the study. All defects were equal to or above 2 mm in recession depth. All the patients received treatment with VISTA+CTG. Their clinical parameters, including recession depth (Rec), recession width (RW), keratinized tissue width (KT), clinical attachment loss (CAL), probing depth (PD) were recorded and compared before surgery and 6 months later. The mean root coverage (MRC) and complete root coverage (CRC) were calculated at the end of 6 months. A visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to estimate the patients' discomfort during the operation and during the 2 weeks post-operation. Patient-based aesthetic satisfaction 6 months after surgery was evaluated by a VAS. RESULTS: The mean Rec was (2.65±0.82) mm at baseline, and (0.35±0.58) mm after 6 months. The VISTA+CTG treatment resulted in an improvement of (2.30±0.98) mm in recession depth (P<0.001). MRC was 86.67%±21.94% and CRC reached 70% at the end of 6 months. KT increased (0.90±1.22) mm (P<0.05). Aesthetic satisfaction on the patients' level was 8.30 based on VAS (0=unsatisfied, 10=extremely satisfied). The patients' discomfort during the operation and 2 weeks post operation were 2.40 and 4.30 (0=no pain, 10=extreme pain). Furthermore, clinical outcomes showed no statistically significant difference between the gingival biotypes, and between the teeth positioned in maxillary and in mandibular. CONCLUSION VISTA+CTG could be an effective treatment for Miller classes I and II localized gingival recession. Clinical outcomes indicated decrease in recession depth and width, and increase in width of keratinized tissue. Patients suffered little pain during the operation and 2 weeks post-operation of healing and accessed good aesthetic satisfaction. VISTA+CTG could be an option for the treatment of Miller classes I and II localized gingival recession.
