Gynecological cancer significantly affect the health of women. This review aimed to describe the global patterns and trends in the survival of patients with gynecological cancers. We searched PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,SinoMed,and SEER for survival analyses of cancer registration data of cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers published between 1980 and 2022.Globally,the highest 5-year observed survival rate for cervical cancer was 76.5%in Anshan,Liaoning,China(2008-2017).The 5-year observed survival rates of endometrial and ovarian cancers were higher in Finland(1995-1999,82.5%)and Singapore(1988-1992,62.0%).The 5-year relative survival rate of cervical cancer patients was higher in Haining,Zhejiang,China(2011-2014,85.8%).Korea ranked first at 89.0%and 64.5%for endometrial and ovarian cancers, respectively.Survival rates have improved for cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers.Patients aged≥75 years and those with advanced-stage disease had the worst 5-year survival rates.Survival rates were better for squamous cell carcinoma in cervical cancer, for endometrial carcinoma and mucinous adenocarcinoma in endometrial cancer, and for germ cell and sex-cord stromal tumors in ovarian cancer.Over the past four decades, the survival rates of gynecological cancers have increased globally, with notable increases in cervical and endometrial cancers.Survival rates are higher in developed countries, with a slow-growing trend.Future studies should focus on improving survival, especially in ovarian cancer patients.
2.Research progress of transcriptomic study in adenomyosis
Chinese Journal of Reproduction and Contraception 2024;44(5):531-536
Adenomyosis is a common gynecological disease with the main clinical manifestations of pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding and reproductive disorders. At present, there is no unified evaluation criteria and treatment plan for adenomyosis, so it is important to understand the molecular mechanism of adenomyosis. Transcriptomics explains the functional elements of the genome at a global level and reveals the molecular mechanisms in specific biological processes. In recent years, with the rapid development of transcriptomics analysis technology, a number of studies have explored the molecular mechanism of adenomyosis based on transcriptomics, identified biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets of adenomyosis, and provided a new perspective for the diagnosis and treatment of adenomyosis. This review focuses on the latest research advances in transcriptome analysis in adenomyosis.

Cox proportional hazards regression model (Cox model) is the most commonly used multivariate approach in time-to-event data analysis. A vital issue in fitting Cox model is choosing the appropriate time scale related to the occurrence of the outcome events. However, few domestic studies have focused on selecting and applying time scales for Cox model in the analysis of cohort study data. This study briefly introduced and compared several time scales in the reports from literature; and used data from the Shanghai Women's Health Study to illustrate the impact of different time scales on data analysis results, using the association between central obesity and the risk of liver cancer as an example. On this basis, several suggestions on selecting time scales in Cox model are proposed to provide a reference for the analysis of cohort study data.

Review the literature on the economic evaluation of PCV-10, PCV-13 and PPSV-23 for providing references for decision-making and research in China. A total of 17 literatures were included, and the basic information to descriptive characteristics, methodology, modeling and the results were extracted. The 14 studies adopted Markov model, 2 studies adopted decision tree model and 1 study adopted probabilistic model. The cost including vaccine price and administration costs, direct medical expenses and indirect lost. All the 17 studies use QALY as the outcome, some studies also use LYG as the outcome. 9 of 13 studies (69.2%) involving people over the age of 50 concluded that pneumococcal vaccination was cost-effective. To provide effective references for decision-makers, China should collect the relevant epidemiological parameters, vaccine effect of pneumococcal disease in the Chinese population and carry out the economic evaluation of pneumococcal vaccination.
