Objective To analyze the relationship between post-traumatic growth(PTG)and health-related quality of life(HRQOL)among long-term cancer survivors(time since diagnosis≥5 years)and to explore the trends and reasons for changes over time.Methods A total sampling method was used to conduct baseline and follow-up surveys on long-term cancer survivors from 6 cancer registries in Germany during 2008-2011 and 2018-2019.General information questionnaires,Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory,and European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer-Quality of Life Questionnaire were applied.The collected data were analyzed using a linear mixed-effects regression model for longitudinal relationships.Results A total of 2704 long-term cancer survivors completed the baseline and follow-up surveys and the effective sample size is 2 686.The high PTG group had a significantly higher overall health status/QOL score than the low PTG group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).However,the difference in scores between the 2 groups at follow-up was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).The interaction between PTG groups and time was statistically significant for overall health status and insomnia(all P＜0.05).There was a stable positive relationship between PTG and economic difficulty scores with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.001).Conclusion There is a positive correlation between PTG and HRQOL among long-term cancer survivors that weakens over time,and the perceived economic burden related to health is a continuous source of stress.

Family caregivers of cancer patients have a huge burden of care and psychological pressure. At the same time, they also get positive benefits in caring for patients. This article reviews the conceptual analysis of the benefit finding of cancer family caregivers from domestic and foreign scholars, the application of measuring tools, the influencing factors of benefit findings and the interventions. Transferring psychological focusing view, it explores the psychological rehabilitation implication of benefit findings in cancer family caregivers in China from the aspect of positive psychology.

Objective To understand the status and influencing factors of benefit finding in patients with cancer.Methods 350 patients with cancer were collected with convenience sampling method from two Jiangsu hospitals.All patients received a questionnaire survey.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of benefit finding in patients with cancer.Results (1) The score of benefit finding in patients with cancer was statistically significant in different frequency of physical exercise (F=8.37,P=0.00),different character (F=3.04,P=0.04) and different educational level (F=2.91,P=0.03).(2) There was a positive correlation between benefit finding(78.53± 10.50) and communication with physicians(7.27±2.19),medical coping(43.48±4.50),optimism(17.33±2.24) and social support(44.81±3.91)(r=0.31,0.35,0.29,0.23,all P＜0.05) in patients with cancer.The benefit finding in patients with cancer was negatively correlated with depression(8.59± 1.83) (r=-0.37,P＜0.05).(3) Multiple linear regression analysis results showed that medical coping modes-confrontation,objectively social support and utilization,physical exercise,depression,communication with physicians and character were the factors influencing benefit finding in patients with cancer(△R2 =28％,P＜ 0.05;△R2 =5.5％,P＜ 0.05;△R2 =3.1％,P＜ 0.05;△R2 =1.9％,P＜0.05;△R2 =1.7％,P＜0.05;△R2 =1.0％,P＜0.05;△R2 =1.1％ P＜0.05),which explained 42.0％ of the total variance.Conclusion Medical coping modes-confrontation,objectively social support and utilization,physical exercise,depression,communication with physicians and character are the factors influencing benefit finding in patients with cancer.

Objective To investigate the impact of transtheoretical model-based depression management on senile people with type 2 diabetes. Methods A total of 78 senile patients with type 2 diabetes were recruited from the Affiliated Jiangyin Hospital of Southeast University Medical College and the Nantong Tumor Hospital during the period from September 2015 to December 2016.They were randomly divided into the experimental(n=39)and the control groups(n=39).The patients in the experimental group received transtheoretical model-based depression management while those in the control group received traditional health education. The intervention results were evaluated using Demographic Data Recording Form, Self-Rating Depression Scale, and Depression Prevention & Management Survey Items. The main statistical methods included Chi square test,independent sample t test,Mann-Whitney U test,and repeated measures analysis of variance. Results After the intervention of three months, the mean scores of Self-Rating Depression Scale was 50.97 (F=17.814), perceived benefit score was (9.59 ± 2.10) (t=-6.732), perceived barriers score was (5.59 ± 1.30) (t=2.980), cognitive level score was (32.98 ± 4.87) (t=-10.189), the behavior level score was (34.32 ± 5.02) (t=-13.745), and the self-efficacy score was (12.11 ± 2.13)(t=-7.845),all of which significantly improved in the experimental group,more than the control group with its perceived benefit score of(8.31 ± 1.12)(F=32.789),perceived barriers score of(6.99 ± 2.12)(F=18.788), cognitive level score of (29.01 ± 3.34) (F=67.876), behavior level score of (28.03 ± 4.77) (F=43.476), and self-efficacy score of(9.78 ± 2.03)(F=15.543),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The level of FPG in experimental group was(7.24 ± 1.36)mmol/L,which was significantly lower than the FPG of (7.41 ± 1.34)mmol/L in the control group(t=0.624,P=0.028).Conclusions Transtheoretical model-based depression management can effectively improve senile type 2 diabetes'management of depression,which is valuable in the clinical context.

Objective To describe the psychological experience of benefit finding in colorectal cancer patients with the permanent colostomy.Methods A total of 18 colorectal cancer patients with the permanent colostomy were interviewed in depth with the qualitative research method. The data collected were analyzed by the Colaizzi's analysis procedure.Results The promoting factors of benefit finding in colorectal cancer patients with the permanent colostomy could be classified into four themes: the change of disease-related cognition, regaining the feeling of self-control, increasing the social support, re-realizing a sense of self-worth. Conclusions The production of benefit finding in colorectal cancer patients with the permanent colostomy needs diversified and multipath support.

Objective To translate the Venous Leg Ulcer Quality of life Questionnaire (VLU-QoL) into Chinese and evaluate the reliability and validity of Chinese version.Methods VLU-QoL was translated into Chinese according to the standards setted by ISPOR.Totally 232 patients with venous leg ulcer were recruited and investigated by the Chinese version of VLU-QoL.Results The Chinese version of VLU-QoL comprised 34 items,Cronbach α was 0.940,inter-rater reliability was 0.841;test-retest reliability was 0.825.I-CVI was 0.83-1.00,S-CVI/Ave was 0.955;Criterion-related validity were 0.714 and 0.541;factor analysis got 3 factors,which explained 54.367％ of the total variance.Conclusions The Chinese version of VLU-QoL has been proved to be reliable and valid.It can be used as a valid tool for the measurement of quality of life for patients with venous leg ulcer.

Objective To study the effect of toothbrushing for ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) in mechanically ventilated patients.Methods We searched Cochrane library,Pubmed,Embase,CBM,CNKI and Wanfang data.All searches were updated on April 30,2013.We also performed a manual search of the RCTs of toothbrushing for VAP.At least two reviewers independently screened the studies for eligibility,evaluated the quality,and extracted the data from the eligible literatures,with a cross-check to confirm accuracy.Different views were settled by a third party.The data had Meta-analysis by software Revman 5.0,and to those data which could not be conversed or merged,they underwent descriptive analysis.Results We identified 8 randomized clinical trials that met the inclusion.In Meta-analysis,the overall risk ratio for ventilator-associated pneumonia was decreased significantly by toothbrushing.Toothbrushing also improved the condition of oral odor and oral ulcer.But no significant differences were observed between two groups in hospital ICU mortality.Conclusions Compared the common oral care,toothbrushing can significantly decrease the overall risk ratio for ventilator-associated pneumonia,and improve the condition of oral odor,plaque index score and oral ulcer.

Objective To define the concept of the benefit finding of breast cancer patients by Morse,Hupcey and Penrod's developed analytical methods.Methods Twenty-two references were recruited through the databases of Medline,Cochrane Library,Embase,Web of Science,ProQuest,according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Coding related content of literatures based on the concept of property from Morse terms:boundaries,preconditions and outcome,and from the epistemological,pragmatics,linguistics,logic perspective to evaluate the maturity of the concept.Results The benefit finding of breast cancer patients involved a perception of cognitive processes,including the three attributes,three word boundaries,two preconditions and three results.Development of the concept was not fully mature.Conclusions Clarifying the benefit finding of breast cancer patients can help researchers use the techniques and principles of positive psychology to promote the benefits finding of breast cancer patients and the patients' physical and mental rehabilitation.

Objective To evaluate the effect of preoperative ambroxol aerosol inhalation on postoperative lung complications in patients with chest and abdominal surgery.Methods The randomized controlled trials (RCTs) taking preoperative ambroxol aerosol inhalation interventions were collected from the databases of Chinese Technology Journal Database,China National Knowledge Internet and Wanfang Database.Data were analyzed with RevMan 5.0 software.Results Eleven articles with 1 160 patients met the inclusion criteria.There was a certain heterogeneity across the analysis,which might result from kind of included patients,inhalation method,difference of the medication,inhalation time,etc,according to subgroup analysis.The result showed that compared with the control group,patients in the experimental group had lower incidence of postoperative lung complications and the differences were not statistically significant.Conclusions The Meta analysis had identified a significant effect of preoperative ambroxol aerosol inhalation on postoperative lung complications in patients with chest and abdominal surgery,but high quality were in need.
