Cancer-associated venous thromboembolism(CAT)refers to the presence of venous thromboem-bolism including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in patients with malignant cancer.Studies have indicated that CAT has become the second leading cause of death among cancer patients.Similar to other methods used to prevent and treat venous thromboembolism, anticoagulation remains to be the primary approach for CAT.However, the occurrence of CAT is influenced by various factors such as tumor type,staging,complications,treat-ment,and prognosis. This complexity makes the prevention and management of CAT more difficult and challeng-ing.This article reviews the classification of commonly used anticoagulant drugs in clinical practice, emphasizing the current status and advancements in their application for the prevention and treatment of cancer-related venous thromboembolism in order to provide valuable reference for clinical medication.

Objective To investigate the requirements for patent knowledge in postgraduate nursing students so as to provide a basis for nursing patent education. Methods Full-time nursing postgraduates from 60 colleges and universities were investigated by self-directed questionnaires and a total of 119 validated questionnaires were returned. The survey included:general information;learning requirements for nursing patent knowledge (learning content and forms, incentive system and learning platforms learning approaches).Five-point Likert scale below was used:1-Strongly disagree,2-Disagree,3-Neither agree nor disagree,4-Agree,5-Strongly agree. All statistical analyses were performed with IBM SPSS software (version 21.0).Quantitative data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation.Ordered categorical variables were compared between two groups and among above three groups with use of the Mann Whitney rank sum test and the Kruskal-Wallis test respectively.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results There was no significant difference in the effect of types of postgraduate (professional and academic) on the requirement for nursing patent knowledge in postgraduate (P>0.05),while significant differences were observed in those of paper publishing, project participation and patent application (P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing patent education can be well established only under the strong supports from the universities, faculties, supervisors as well as students, thereby developing the innovation of postgraduates.

Objective To establish reference values for blood pressure in cynomolgus monkeys in different ages. Methods The blood pressures and blood lipids indexes were detected in 521 cynomolgus monkeys using an American BECKMAN-CX4 automatic biochemical analyzer and a wrist electronic blood pressure monitor.Statistical tests were performed to analyze the data. Results Significant differences were found in blood pressure values of cynomolgus monkeys in different ages.Blood pressure values in the elderly group were higher than those of other groups. The morbidity of hypertension in the elderly group was higher than those of the other groups.Body mass index (BMI) in the hypertension group was higher than that of normal group in the same age.The incidence of hypertension in the elderly group with hyperlipemia was higher than that of other groups.Logistic regression analysis showed that age, BMI and hyperlipidemia in the hypertensive group were 1.435, 1.218, and 2.337 times higher than those of the normal group when predicting the risk of hypertension. Conclusions We have initially established reference values of blood pressure in cynomolgus monkeys in different ages.Age, BMI and hyperlipidemia are risk factors of spontaneous hypertension in cynomolgus monkeys, and the measurement of blood pressure may provide a basis for the screening of cynomolgus monkey model of spontaneous hypertensive and related research.
