Objective: To understand the awareness of chikungunya fever knowledge and its related factors among medical college students in Baise City, so as to provide a scientific basis to offer relevant courses and special education. Methods: From July to August 2025, 7 286 enrolled medical students were selected by a sampling method from a medical college in Baise City to participate in the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire covered epidemiological characteristics, clinical symptoms, and prevention/control knowledge of chikungunya fever. Statistical analyses including the Chi quare test and multivariate Logistic regression models were performed. Results: The overall awareness rate of chikungunya fever knowledge among the medical students was 18.89%. Among the knowledge items, the awareness rate of "the high incidence season" was the highest (84.05%), while that of "the infectious period" was the lowest (17.80%). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that medical students with female (a OR= 1.37 , 95%CI =1.20- 1.57 ), the age for over 25 years old (a OR=1.76, 95%CI =1.05-2.93), whose father had a middle school educational level (a OR=1.18, 95%CI =1.05-1.31), and majored in preventive medicine (a OR=1.54, 95%CI =1.10-1.67) had relatively higher awareness rates of chikungunya fever knowledge (all P <0.05). In contrast, students of Zhuang ethnicity (a OR= 0.87 , 95%CI =0.76-0.98) and majoring in nursing (a OR=0.74, 95%CI =0.61-0.91) or pharmacy (a OR=0.70, 95%CI =0.52-0.95) had relatively lower awareness rates (all P <0.05). Conclusions The awareness rate of chikungunya fever related knowledge among medical college students in Baise City is relatively low. Schools should take targeted publicity measures to improve medical students awareness.

OBJECTIVE To formulate the Expert Consensus on the Implementation and Management of Drug Selection for Centralized Volume-Based Procurement in Medical Institutions of Guangxi （hereinafter referred to as the “ Consensus ”）， and to provide decision-making support and practical guidance for the drug selection and management of centralized volume-based procurement （hereinafter referred to as “centralized procurement”） drugs in medical institutions at all levels in Guangxi. METHODS A systematic review was conducted on the materials from previous batches of centralized procurement implemented in Guangxi. A comprehensive search was carried out for drug-related works and books， along with a systematic collation of guidelines on drug selection， expert consensus on centralized procurement， and policy documents. Through three rounds of specialized seminars， combined with existing evidence-based data and the practical drug selection experiences of medical institutions at various levels， this Consensus was formulated after thorough discussion and successive rounds of revision. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS The Consensus systematically outlines the three key stages in the implementation of centralized procurement in medical institutions： procurement volume reporting， confirmation of agreed procurement volume， and procurement and usage implementation. It proposes drug selection strategies for centralized procurement bas ed on multiple dimensions， including specifications， dosage forms， packaging materials， fill volume， and manufacturing enterprises. In response to practical challenges encountered in the selection process， corresponding countermeasures are proposed， such as establishing a regularized information reserve mechanism， strengthening information technology support， and implementing categorized selection approaches. The Consensus advocates for medical institutions to construct an integrated “policy， data， and quality” decision-making system to promote full-cycle management of centralized procurement. This Consensus will provide scientific and practical guidance for medical institutions at all levels in Guangxi in the drug selection of centralized procurement， facilitating the smooth implementation and sustainable development of centralized procurement policies at the institutional level.

This paper outlines the development of artificial intelligence （AI） and its applications in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） research， and elucidates the roles and advantages of large language models， knowledge graphs， and natural language processing in advancing syndrome identification， prescription generation， and mechanism exploration. Using spleen-stomach diseases as an example， it demonstrates the empowering effects of AI in classical literature mining， precise clinical syndrome differentiation， efficacy and safety prediction， and intelligent education， highlighting an upgraded research paradigm that evolves from data-driven and knowledge-driven approaches to intelligence-driven models. To address challenges related to privacy protection and regulatory compliance in cross-institutional data collaboration， a "trusted federated evidence-based analysis platform for TCM spleen-stomach diseases" is proposed， integrating blockchain-based smart contracts， federated learning， and secure multi-party computation. The deep integration of AI with privacy-preserving computing is reshaping research and clinical practice in TCM spleen-stomach diseases， providing feasible pathways and a technical framework for building a high-quality， trustworthy TCM big-data ecosystem and achieving precision syndrome differentiation.

Purpose: Due to the preservation of the entire stomach after endoscopic resection, the occurrence of metachronous gastric cancer (MGC) remains a possibility. In this study, we investigated the incidence and risk factors for MGC in patients with early gastric cancer who underwent endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and successfully eradicatedHelicobacter pylori. Materials and Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted of 1,191 patients who underwent ESD and successfully eradicated H. pylori at the Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University. Endoscopic surveillance was performed at 3, 6, and 12 months post-resection, and annually thereafter. MGC was defined as the development of a new cancer at a site other than the primary gastric cancer site, at least 1 year after the initial endoscopic resection. Results: A total of 77 patients were diagnosed with MGC during a median follow-up of 41.5 months. Kaplan-Meier analysis showed a 5-year cumulative incidence of MGC of 9.4% after successful H. pylori eradication. Multivariate analysis of the training set using Cox proportional hazards models identified male sex, severe atrophic gastritis, multiple gastric cancers before H. pylori eradication, and smoking history as independent risk factors for MGC.The nomogram exhibited favorable discrimination, with area under the curves of 0.767 and 0.822 in the training set and 0.724 and 0.745 in the testing set at 3 and 5 years, respectively. Conclusions Patients with gastric cancer who undergo endoscopic resection, even after successful H. pylori eradication, should undergo annual and continuous endoscopic surveillance for MGC.

Biohybrid robots are hybrid systems that deeply integrate living biological components （such as cells, tissues, organs, or microorganisms） with artificial synthetic components （including sensors, actuators, control systems, and structural materials）. Focusing on key advancements in cellular/microbial-level and tissue-level biohybrid robots, the applications in two major scenarios: targeted drug delivery in vivo and drug evaluation in vitro were reviewed. International research progress demonstrated that biohybrid robots offered novel solutions for overcoming deep tissue delivery barriers, enhancing biocompatibility, and enabling real-time monitoring. However, their clinical translation still faced critical challenges, including reproducibility, in vivo/in vitro nutrient supply, encapsulation technologies, and safety regulatory frameworks.

Objective To screen the differential expression profile of circ_RNA in OSCC and to elucidate the molecular mechanism of circ_PVT1 on OSCC carcinogenesis.Methods The transcripts of 3 cases of OSCC and normal tissues were sequenced by high-throughput sequencing using circ_RNA expression profile chip,and the differential gene expression profiles were screened,and GO and KEGG enrichment analysis were performed.The expression level of PVT1 in OSCC tissues,human normal oral mucosal cells and OSCC cells was detected by qRT-PCR.The effect of PVT1 on the biological behavior of SCC-25 and SCC-9 cells was evaluated by MTT exper-iment,Transwell experiment and flow cytometry.The effect of PVT1 on the expression of key proteins in the Wnt3a/β-catenin pathway was evaluated by Western blot.The relationship between the expression of PVT1 and clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis of patients was further studied.Results A total of 403 differentially expressed circ_RNAs were screened by the chip,and the differen-tially expressed genes were enriched in pathways related to cancer progression.PVT1 was highly expressed in OSCC tissues and cells.Silencing PVT1 expression could inhibit the activation of the Wnt3a/β-catenin pathway,thereby effectively inhibiting the proliferation,migration,invasion and cell cycle of SCC-25 and SCC-9 cells and promoting apoptosis.PVT1 expression was only associated with lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis in patients,and those with high expression had a shorter PFS.Conclusion PVT1 promotes the progression of OSCC by regulating the activation of Wnt3a/β-catenin pathway.The research results provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of OSCC.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)is a degenerative vascular disease occurring in the lower segment of the aortic diaphragm,mainly manifested by irreversible dilatation of the entire artery,preferably in the elderly population.The pathogenesis of AAA is complex and involves multiple factors,with genetic variations and immune imbalances playing important roles.Its pathological changes mainly include inflammatory cell infiltration,degradation of stromal elastin,and smooth muscle cell death.Rupture of AAA is the most dangerous complication,with a high mortality.Surgery remains the only effective intervention,but carries certain risks and postoperative complications.Early intervention for small abdominal aortic aneurysms to slow down aneurysm expansion and achieve long-term survival is currently a focus of drug and technology research.This article reviews the pathogenesis of AAA and its intervention strategies,and summarizes the research on existing drugs and the use of new targets and technologies,so as to provide insights for better understanding and treatment of AAA.

Objective:To explore the psychological experience of ICU nurses caring for young patients with suicide attempts in a general hospital, and to lay a foundation for the study of psychological adjustment and intervention for ICU nurses.Methods:Twelve ICU nurses who had experience of caring for suicide attempted- young patients from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Affiliated to Medical College of Zhejiang University were selected by using descriptive qualitative research method and the maximum difference method of the purposive sampling during October to December in 2023, and semi-structured in-depth personal interviews were conducted. Traditional content analysis method was used to sort out and analyze the data and extract the themes.Results:A total of 12 nurses completed the interview, 5 males, 7 females, aged 23-38(29.33 ± 4.14) years, three themes and seven sub-themes were extracted: psychological characteristics of care (avoidance of active communication, fear of care, empathy); the support required for nursing care (support from colleagues; support from nursing managers); self-growth after caregiving (self-growth in terms of life and death, and self-growth in terms of children′s education).Conclusions:ICU nurses have a certain degree of psychological pressure when taking care of young patients with suicide attempts, which will produce empathy for patients and affect their self-values. At the same time, they need support from colleagues and nursing managers. Therefore, general hospitals should pay attention to the psychological state of ICU nurses, carry out the targeted communication training and mental health support for ICU nurses, and help them gain positive nursing career growth and values.

Objective To comprehensively describe the epidemiology,clinical outcomes,and treatment modes of post-transplant cytomegalovirus(CMV)infection in solid organ transplant(SOT)recipients in China.Methods Relevant studies were retrieved from domestic and foreign databases from 2013 to 2023.Indicators such as CMV in-fection incidence were included.Random-effects model analysis was conducted using R software.Results A total of 29 studies were included in the analysis,with an overall CMV infection incidence of 22.51％.CMV infection inci-dence after liver and kidney transplant were 23.62％and 13.01％,respectively.CMV infection rates after thoracic organ transplant were 52.27％and 61.24％.When serological status of donors and recipients was D+/R-,the in-cidence of CMV infection in transplant recipients was higher(83.89％).The incidence of CMV disease in CMV in-fected patients was 46.22％.Ganciclovir and valganciclovir were commonly used agents,but both had high risks of bone marrow suppression.Conclusion In China,CMV infection is a common viral infection after SOT surgery.Agents with better treatment efficacy and tolerance is necessary in clinics.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the inhibitory effect mechanism of Anzheng Kangliu Decoction against colorectal cancer by suppressing glycolysis through regulation of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)signaling pathway.METHODS Human colorectal cancer SW620 cells were treated with Anzheng Kangliu De-coction,and cell proliferation and migration abilities were assessed.Forty-two BALB/c nude mice were randomly divided into a blank control group,model group,5-fluorouracil(5-FU)group(0.025 g·kg-1),Anzheng Kangliu Decoction low-dose group(7.67 g·kg-1),medium-dose group(15.34 g·kg-1),and high-dose group(30.68 g·kg-1).The inhibitory effect of Anzheng Kan-gliu Decoction on subcutaneous xenograft tumors was evaluated by observing body weight,tumor volume,tumor mass,HE staining,im-munohistochemical staining of Ki67 and other indicators.High-throughput transcriptome sequencing was performed to identify differen-tially expressed genes and pathways in tumor tissues between the model group and the Anzheng Kangliu Decoction medium-dose group,elucidating the potential mechanism of Anzheng Kangliu Decoction against colorectal cancer.Glucose and lactate assay kits were used to measure glucose consumption and lactate production in SW620 cells and tumor tissues after Anzheng Kangliu Decoction intervention.Western blot was employed to detect the expression levels of p-PI3K/PI3K,p-Akt/Akt,p-mTOR/mTOR,hexokinase 2(HK2),and lactate dehydrogenase A(LDHA)in SW620 cells and tumor tissues following Anzheng Kangliu Decoction treatment.RE-SULTS In vitro cell experiments demonstrated that,compared with the blank control group,Anzheng Kangliu Decoction intervention significantly inhibited the proliferation and migration of SW620 cells(P<0.01),reduced glucose consumption and lactate production(P<0.05,P<0.01),and downregulated the protein expression levels of p-PI3K/PI3K,p-Akt/Akt,p-mTOR/mTOR,HK2,and LDHA(P<0.05,P<0.01).In vivo animal experiments revealed that,compared with the model group,Anzheng Kangliu Decoction suppressed the growth of subcutaneous xenograft tumors in nude mice(P<0.01),increased tumor tissue necrosis,decreased glucose consumption and lactate production in tumor tissues(P<0.05,P<0.01),and reduced the protein expression levels of p-PI3K/PI3K,p-Akt/Akt,p-mTOR/mTOR,HK2,and LDHA(P<0.05,P<0.01).CONCLUSION Anzheng Kangliu Decoction exerts an in-hibitory effect on colorectal cancer,and its mechanism may be associated with the suppression of glycolysis through regulation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway.
