1.Investigation of somatization symptoms and related factors in adolescents during frequent earthquakes in Hefei

ObjectiveTo investigate somatization symptoms in adolescents during frequent earthquakes in Hefei, and to explore their correlation with earthquake experiences. MethodsA cross-sectional survey was used to select 324 adolescents in Hefei as the survey objects. The self-rating scale of somatization symptoms (SSS) and the fatigue intensity scale (FIS) were used to evaluate the somatization symptoms and fatigue degree of middle school students, and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the related factors of somatization symptoms and fatigue among middle school students. ResultsA total of 324 adolescents were included, and the overall detection rate of somatization symptoms was 6.5%, and the detection rate of moderate or above fatigue was 20.1%. The results of regression analysis showed that adolescents who were concerned about the earthquake for a longer time (≥1 h) had a higher risk of somatization symptoms (OR=5.430, 95%CI: 1.547-19.058), and adolescents who received pre-earthquake training had a lower degree of fatigue (OR=0.535, 95%CI: 0.292-0.981) (P<0.05). ConclusionDuring the frequent earthquakes, adolescents have more somatization symptoms and fatigue. Therefore, it is crucial to enhance health education, reduce the emphasis on event-related reports, and implement earthquake prevention and disaster reduction training to improve the physical and mental health of adolescents.
2.Prevalence and associated factors of work-related musculoskeletal disorders among workers in a manganese enterprise

Background Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are a major occupational health concern, particularly among workers exposed to adverse ergonomic conditions. Manganese production involves heavy physical demands, yet research on WMSDs among manganese workers remains limited. Objective To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of WMSDs among manganese workers in a manganese enterprise in Guangxi. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted from May to June 2024 on workers at a manganese factory in Guangxi. The Chinese Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire was used to collect information on demographic characteristics, distribution of musculoskeletal symptoms, and work-related exposures. χ2 test was applied to compare differences in positive WMSDs rates across groups, and logistic regression analysis was performed to identify associated factors. Results A total of 1476 workers were enrolled in the study after pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The overall prevalence of WMSDs was 34.15%. The most commonly affected body regions were the lower back (17.28%), neck (16.67%), and shoulders (13.82%). The results of logistic regression analysis indicated that female, older age, and education level of college or above were associated with a higher risk of WMSDs (P<0.05). Awkward working postures were significantly associated with WMSDs in corresponding body regions; in particular, awkward postures of the neck, upper limbs, trunk, and lower limbs were related to an increased risk of WMSDs in multiple body sites (P<0.05). In addition, poor lighting conditions, high workplace temperature, frequent or sustained arm support during work, and high job demands were associated with an increased risk of overall or site-specific WMSDs (P<0.05). Conclusion The high prevalence of WMSDs among manganese workers is closely associated with demographic characteristics, working postures, and work environment and organizational factors. Targeted ergonomic interventions focusing on high-risk body regions and key ergonomic exposures are warranted to reduce the risk of WMSDs among manganese workers.
3.Effect of social activity participation on self-rated mental health disparity between urban and rural older adults in China

Objective:To explore the effect of different types of social activity participation on self-rated men-tal health disparity between urban and rural older adults in China.Methods:The study data was sourced from the 2018 wave of Chinese General Social Survey(CGSS).Factor analysis was applied to divide social activities into three dimensions:entertainment activities,cultural activities,family and friend gatherings.Logistic regression model was adopted to analyze the effect of social activity on self-rated mental health.Fairlie decomposition model was ap-plied to explore the effect of social activity on urban-rural disparity in self-rated mental health.Results:The self-ra-ted good mental health proportion of urban old persons(n=3 139)was 72.0%,which was higher than that of rural old persons(n=1 549)(53.7%)(P<0.001).Recreational activities and gatherings of friends and relatives sig-nificantly improved self-rated mental health in urban and rural old persons.Fairlie decomposition result revealed that approximately 18.7%of self-rated mental health disparity could be attributed to urban-rural disparity in entertain-ment activities.Moreover,urban-rural disparity in family and friends gatherings could explain about 3.9%of the disparity.Conclusion:Urban older adults have better mental health than their rural counterparts.Furthermore,social activity is beneficial to mental health for both urban and rural older adults.Urban-rural disparity in entertainment ac-tivities make an important contribution to mental health disparity between urban and rural older adults.
4.Clinical value comparison between endoscopic ligation surgery and surgical hemorrhoidectomy for internal hemorrhoids

Objective To compare the therapeutic value of endoscopic ligation surgery and surgical hemorrhoidectomy for internal hemorrhoids.Methods This study was a retrospective study,selected 340 patients with internal hemorrhoids admitted to the hospital from February 2023 to April 2025.According to the treatment method,they were divided into two groups:160 patients who underwent surgical hemorrhoidectomy as the control group and 180 patients who underwent endoscopic ligation surgery as the observation group.The surgical related indicators of the two groups were compared to evaluate postoperative anal pain,detect serum inflammatory factors,anal function,anorectal motility indicators,anal stenosis degree before and after surgery,and statistically analyze the incidence of complications.Results The observation group had a shorter surgical time,less intraoperative bleeding,and lower treatment costs compared to the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).On the 1st and 7th day after the surgery,the pain visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of the observation group were significant lower than those of the control group,with statisticlly significant differences(P<0.05).One month after the surgery,the levels of serum inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those of the control group,with statisticlly significant differences(P<0.05).One month after the surgery,the score of the anal function Kelly scale in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with statisticlly significant difference(P<0.05).One month after the surgery,there were obvious differences in the levels of anorectal dynamic indicators between the two groups(P<0.05).The incidence of complications and the rate of anal stenosis in the observation group were relatively lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Both endoscopic ligation surgery and surgical hemorrhoidectomy can be used in the treatment of internal hemorrhoids.However,compared with the latter,the former is more effective in improving the patient's serum inflammatory factors,anal function,and postoperative pain.It can also shorten the patient's operation time,reduce the intraoperative blood loss,and relieve the patient's economic burden.
5.Effects of different modes of cerebellar transcranial magnetic stimulation on response inhibition function in healthy adults

Objective To explore the effects of different modes of cerebellar transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS)on response inhibition function in healthy adults and the underlying mechanisms.Methods Eighty-one healthy adult volunteers were randomly divided into 5 Hz repetitive TMS(rTMS)group(n=28),intermittent theta burst stimulation(iTBS)group(n=26)and sham stimulation group(n=27).The TMS stimulation target was the cerebellar Crus Ⅱ region,and the stimulation site was accurately located by the neuronavigation system.The stimulation intensity was 80%of the individual resting motor threshold(RMT).The Go/No-Go task response time(RT)and response inhibition ability and synchronous EEG were measured before and after intervention in each group.The changes of N2 wave and time-frequency in the time window related to response inhibition function in the event-related potential(ERP)were analyzed.Results Compared with that pre-stimulation,RT after stimulation in rTMS group and iTBS group was significantly shortened(all P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the difference of RT before and after stimulation among the three groups(P<0.001).Compared with that in the sham stimulation group,the RT after stimulation in the rTMS group and the iTBS group was significantly shortened(P<0.05-0.01).There was no significant difference in RT changes before and after stimulation between rTMS group and iTBS group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the correct rate of Go task and No-Go task before and after stimulation in the rTMS group,iTBS group and sham stimulation group(all P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the changes of correct rate in Go task and No-Go task among the three groups(P>0.05).In the No-Go condition,compared with pre-TMS intervention,the N2 amplitude at Fz and FCz electrodes in rTMS group and iTBS group significantly decreased after intervention(all P<0.05).Compared with that in the sham stimulation group,the changes of N2 amplitude in the frontal electrodes of the rTMS group and the iTBS group were statistically significant(all P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the N2 amplitude changes before and after intervention between the rTMS and iTBS groups(all P>0.05).In the Go condition,there was no significant difference in N2 amplitude before and after intervention in each group(all P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the latency changes of Go/No-Go task before and after intervention in each group(all P>0.05).In the No-Go task,the theta frequency power was increased significantly after rTMS intervention(P<0.01),and the alpha,beta and gamma frequency powers were decreased significantly(all P<0.05).Theta frequency power at the Fz channel in the iTBS group was significantly increased after intervention(P<0.05).No significant time-frequency changes were observed in the sham group before and after the intervention.There were no significant differences in the frequency changes(alpha,theta,beta,gamma)between the rTMS and iTBS groups after intervention(all P>0.05).In the Go task,there was no significant change in each frequency before and after intervention in each group.Correlation analysis showed that there was no significant correlation between RT and N2 amplitude and theta oscillation activity in each group(all P>0.05).Conclusions Both 5 Hz rTMS and iTBS interventions significantly improve response inhibition ability in healthy adults.The two types of stimulation may modulate cerebellar executive control functions through similar neuroregulatory mechanisms,providing new evidence for the clinical application of cerebellar TMS in cognitive control-related disorders.

Diseases caused by animal virus infection seriously restricts the healthy development of animal husbandry.In-depth study of the molecular mechanism of viral replication and pathogenesis will provide theoretical basis for screening vaccine and drug targets.N6-methyladenosine(m6 A)modification occurs extensively in viral and host transcriptomes and affects viral replication and pathogenicity by regulating gene expression,which acts as a novel regulator of gene expression in addition to DNA and protein modifications.Insight into the regulatory molecular mechanism of m6 A modification in virus infection is the research hotspots and frontiers.In recent years,there are re-ports of alternation of the m6 A modification-associated epitranscriptomes and related function a-nalysis during virus infection.Here,we summarize the alternation of the epitranscriptomes induced by African swine fever virus(ASFV),porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV),porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus(PEDV),cestode virus(CSFV),porcine pseudorabies virus(PRV),Marek's disease virus(MDV),Newcastle disease virus(NDV),avian leukaemia virus(ALV)and duck hepatitis A virus(DHAV)infection,and the subsequent effects on viral replica-tion and pathogenicity.We also discuss the potential role and molecular mechanism of m6 A modification in animal virus replication and pathogenesis,which will contributes to the prevention and control for animal disease.
8.The Application Effect of Diltiazem Hydrochloride Combined with Sacubitril Valsartan on Chronic Heart Failure after Coronary Intervention

Objective:To investigate the application effect of diltiazem hydrochloride combined with sacubitril valsartan on chronic heart failure after coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:A prospective study was conducted.The cases were included from May 2020 to May 2023.After the inclusion and exclusion criteria were deleted,a total of 88 patients with chronic heart failure after PCI met the research requirements.They were divided into two groups with the same number of cases,namely 44 cases in each group.The control group received oral treatment with sacubitril and valsartan,while the observation group received additional treatment with diltiazem hydrochloride on top of the control group.Compare the clinical efficacy,changes in cardiac function related indicators and exercise endurance before and after treatment between two groups,and conduct a 1-year follow-up of all patients to record the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events during the follow-up period.Finally,compare the changes in quality of life before and after treatment between the two groups of patients.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.18%,which was higher than the control group's 77.27%(P<0.05);After treatment,the changes of cardiac function related indexes and exercise tolerance were compared.It was found that the N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide(NT proBNP)(45.14±6.34)pg/mL,LVEDD(51.66±3.04)mm and LVESD(32.63±4.45)mm in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,while the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)(55.57±4.25)%and 6MWT(514.62±34.42)m in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);During the 1-year follow-up,no death occurred in the two groups.The incidence of cardiovascular adverse events in the observation group was 4.55%,much lower than 20.45%in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment,the scores of emotion,body,others and MLHFQ in the observation group(13.53±2.21,14.25±2.63,20.35±4.52,48.13±5.25)were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Diltiazem Hydrochloride and Sacubitril Valsartan has significant therapeutic effects on patients with chronic heart failure after PCI.It can improve patients' cardiac function and exercise endurance,reduce the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events,and improve their quality of life.

10.Application progress of non-invasive cerebellar stimulation in stroke rehabilitation

In recent years, non-invasive brain stimulation has been widely used in clinical rehabilitation due to its safe and non-invasive features.Particularly for stroke patients, this technique has become a new type of rehabilitation by virtue of its role in improving gait disorders, aphasia, dysphagia, and other complications. Previous research on stroke rehabilitation mainly focused on the cerebral cortex, while the recent evidences suggest that the cerebellum, with its rich synaptic plasticity and extensive structural and functional connectivity with the brain, has emerged as a promising target for non-invasive intervention in stroke rehabilitation. Non-invasive stimulation of the cerebellum is expected to improve patients' impaired function and quality of life. This review discusses the possible mechanisms and clinical applications of non-invasive cerebellar stimulation technology in regulating stroke rehabilitation, aiming to provide new treatment directions and application value for individualized stroke rehabilitation.
