Meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD)and dry eye disease(DED)are prevalent ocular surface disorders, with MGD being a primary cause of DED. Although multiple observational studies, systematic reviews, and Meta-analysis have found that dyslipidemia may be associated with the rising risk of DED and MGD, the mechanisms remain unclear, and these findings have been not yet fully incorporated into Chinese expert consensus on dry eye and MGD. The article begins by comparing the similarities and differences between meibum and blood lipids in terms of composition, and their age-related trends, noting that changes in meibum composition are more likely a result of MGD rather than alterations in blood lipids. Then we systematically review epidemiological evidence revealing the association between dyslipidemia and MGD/DED, delving into the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms. Finally, we evaluate the treatment prospects as well as controversies of lipid-lowering agents on their dual mechanisms of lipid-lowering and anti-inflammatory effects. This review aims to systemically integrate current research findings, elucidate gaps and contradictions, and provide a theoretical foundation for future exploration of blood lipids' role in ocular surface homeostasis, thereby advancing systemic prevention and treatment strategies for DED and MGD.

AIM: To evaluate the postoperative clinical efficacy of non-diffractive extended depth of focus intraocular lens(EDOF IOL)in patients with highly myopic cataract(HMC).METHODS:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of patients diagnosed with HMC at the hospital from January 2022 to December 2024. Patients were divided into an observation group [undergoing femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery(FLACS)combined with non-diffractive EDOF IOL implantation] and a control group(undergoing FLACS combined with aspheric monofocal IOL implantation)according to the type of implanted IOL. Postoperative visual acuity(LogMAR), visual quality, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.RESULTS: A total of 33 patients(47 eyes)were finally included in this study, including 10 patients(17 eyes)in the observation group and 23 patients(30 eyes)in the control group. The observation group had a median age of 59.0(52.8, 63.8)y, with 8 males(13 eyes)and 2 females(4 eyes). The control group had a median age of 56.0(53.5, 60.0)y, with 13 males(17 eyes)and 10 females(13 eyes). At 3 mo postoperatively, the best-corrected distance visual acuity(BCDVA)was 0.10(0.08, 0.12)in the observation group and 0.20(0.10, 0.40)in the control group(P=0.586). However, the best-corrected intermediate visual acuity(BCIVA)[0.10(0.10, 0.10)vs 0.50(0.40, 0.90), P=0.032] and best-corrected near visual acuity(BCNVA)[0.20(0.18, 0.20)vs 0.60(0.45, 1.45), P=0.044] in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group. The defocus curve showed that the uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)in the observation group was relatively stable within the range of -2.00 to +1.00 D, which was superior to that in the control group. Postoperative questionnaires showed that the spectacle independence rate(76%)and overall satisfaction(88%)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(10% and 60%, respectively).CONCLUSION: Non-diffractive EDOF IOL significantly improves intermediate and near visual acuity, reduces spectacle dependence, and maintains distance visual acuity by extending the depth of focus, providing better postoperative visual quality and life satisfaction for HMC patients.

OBJECTIVE To analyze chemical components of Yao ethnic medicine Pittosporum pauciflorum， establish its fingerprint and investigate the spectrum-effect relationship of its anti-inflammatory effect. METHODS UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS technology was used to analyze the chemical components of P. pauciflorum （batch S6）. The fingerprints for 10 batches of P. pauciflorum from different producing areas in Guangxi Province （batches S1-S10） were established by HPLC， and similarity assessment and chemometric pattern recognition analysis were conducted. RAW264.7 inflammatory cell model was induced by lipopolysaccharide， and the anti-inflammatory activity of P. pauciflorum was investigated. Using inhibition rates of nitric oxide （NO）， tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α）， interleukin-6 （IL-6） and IL-1β as efficacy indicators， grey relational analysis and partial least squares regression analysis were adopted to evaluate the spectrum-effect relationship of the anti-inflammatory effect of P. pauciflorum. RESULTS There were 60 chemical components， including flavonoids， phenolic acids， lipids， etc.， identified in P. pauciflorum. The fingerprints for 10 batches of P. pauciflorum showed 14 common peaks，with similarity values ranging from 0.883 to 0.991. Three common peaks were assigned neochlorogenic acid （peak 5）， chlorogenic acid （peak 7）， and syringaldehyde （peak 10）. The classification results of the systematic clustering analysis and the principal component analysis were basically consistent. Batches S1 to S10 of P. pauciflorum significantly reduced the levels of NO， TNF-α， IL-6 （except for batch S5） and IL-1β in the cell supernatant （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. Inhibition rates of above inflammatory indexes were 10.26%-39.96%， 14.96%-31.36%， 1.38%-21.27%， 18.54%-28.00%， respectively. The contents of neochlorogenic acid， syringaldehyde， as well as the components corresponding to peaks 1， 3， 9， 12 and 14，exhibited a strong correlation with the anti-inflammatory effects of P. pauciflorum. CONCLUSIONS The present study has analyzed the chemical components of P. pauciflorum and established HPLC fingerprints for 10 batches of P. pauciflorum. Each batch of medicinal herbs demonstrates certain anti- inflammatory activities， among which neochlorogenic acid， syringaldehyde， and the components corresponding to peaks 1， 3， 9， 12 and 14 are likely to be the active anti-inflammatory components.

Objective To investigate the regulatory role of the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and its ligand programmed cell death protein ligand 1 (PD-L1) signaling on the subtypes and functions of natural killer (NK) cells at the maternal-fetal interface during the second trimester in mice following Toxoplasma gondii infection during the first trimester. Methods Twelve 6- to 8-week-old female mice of the C57BL/6J strain were divided into a control group and an infection group, of 6 mice in each group. On the 6.5th day of pregnancy (Gd6.5), each pregnant mouse in the infection group was intraperitoneally injected with 150 tachyzoites of the Toxoplasma gondii PRU strain, while mice in the control group were injected with an equal volume of physiological saline. On the 12.5th day of pregnancy (Gd12.5), uterus and placenta tissues were sampled from pregnant mice for pathological observations, and the mRNA expression levels of PD-1, PD-L1, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were quantified in uterus and placenta tissues. The PD-1 and DX5 expression was measured on NK cells at the maternal-fetal interface using flow cytometry. In addition, the in vitro JEG-3 trophoblast cells and NK-92MI cells co-culture system was established as the control group, and the addition of T. gondii tachyzoites in the co-culture system served as the infection group. The PD-1, PD-L1, and DX5 mRNA expression was quantified in cells using real-time fluorescence quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) assay, and the TNF-α concentration was measured in the cell culture supernatant using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results On Gd12.5, clear and intact cellular structures of placental decidual tissues were seen in pregnant mice in the control group, with no remarkable abnormal changes found in the uterine columnar epithelial cells, and inflammatory cell infiltration and blood stasis at varying degrees were found in uterine and placental tissues from pregnant mice in the infection group. The relative PD-1, PD-L1, and TNF-α mRNA expression was (1.004 ± 0.004), (1.001 ± 0.001), and (1.001 ± 0.001) in uterine tissues from pregnant mice in the control group and (2.480 ± 0.720), (3.355 ± 0.920), and (2.391 ± 0.073) in the infection group, respectively. The relative PD-1, PD-L1, and TNF-α mRNA expression was (1.007 ± 0.010), (1.006 ± 0.006), and (1.001 ± 0.001) in the uterine tissues in the control group and (6.948 ± 1.918), (3.225 ± 1.034), and (1.536 ± 0.150) in the infection group, respectively. The relative PD-1, PD-L1, and TNF-α mRNA expression was higher in both the uterine (t = 3.55, 4.43 and 33.02, all P values < 0.05) and placental tissues (t = 5.36, 3.72 and 6.18, all P values < 0.05) in the infection group than in the control group. Flow cytometry showed that the proportions of PD-1⁺ NK cells, PD-1⁺ DX5⁺ NK cells, and DX5⁺ NK cells were (12.200 ± 1.082)%, (9.373 ± 7.728)%, and (44.000 ± 4.095)% in uterine tissues from pregnant mice in the control group, and (21.733 ± 1.630)%, (18.767 ± 1.242)%, and (73.367 ± 0.611)% in the infection group, respectively. The proportions of PD-1⁺ NK cells, PD-1⁺ DX5⁺ NK cells, and DX5⁺ NK cells were (1.100 ± 0.510)%, (2.277 ± 1.337)%, and (96.167 ± 2.831)% in placental tissues from mice in the control group, and (26.867 ± 9.722)%, (23.433 ± 6.983)%, and (82.467 ± 2.248)% in the infection group, respectively. The proportions of PD-1⁺ NK cells (t = 8.45, P < 0.05) and DX5⁺ NK cells (t = 12.29, P < 0.05) were higher in uterine tissues from pregnant mice in the infection group than in the control group, and no significant difference was seen in the proportion of PD-1⁺ DX5⁺ NK cells (Z = -1.09, P > 0.05). The proportions of PD-1⁺ NK cells (t = 4.58, P < 0.05) and PD-1⁺ DX5⁺ NK cells (t = 5.15, P < 0.05) were higher in placental tissues from pregnant mice in the infection group than in the control group, while the proportion of DX5⁺ NK cells was lower in the infection group than in the control group (t = -6.56, P < 0.05). RT-qPCR assay revealed that the relative PD-1, PD-L1, and DX5 mRNA expression was (1.010 ± 0.005), (1.002 ± 0.003), and (1.001 ± 0.001) in the JEG-3 cells and NK92MI cells co-culture system and (3.638 ± 1.258), (0.397 ± 0.158), and (4.267 ± 1.750) in the control group, and ELISA measured that the TNF-α concentration was higher in the cell culture supernatant in the infection group [(22.056 ± 3.205) pg/mL] than in the control group [(12.441 ± 0.001) pg/mL] (t = 5.20, P < 0.05). The PD-1(t = 3.62, P < 0.05) and DX5 mRNA expression (t = 3.23, P < 0.05) was higher in the infection group than in the control group, and the PD-L1 mRNA expression was lower in the infection group than in the control group (t = -6.63, P < 0.05). Conclusions Following T. gondii infection, both PD-L1 expression and PD-1 expression on DX5⁺ NK cells at the maternal-fetal interface are upregulated in mice during the second trimester; however, the proportion of DX5⁺ NK cells decreases. These findings suggest that PD-1/PD-L1 signaling may suppress NK cell functions by modulating DX5⁺ NK cell subsets.

OBJECTIVE: Investigating the clinical efficacy of treating dorsally displaced distal radial double-column Die-punch fractures using a dorsal approach external fixator combined with Kirschner wires. METHODS: Retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 15 patients with distal radial double-column Die-punch fractures treated with an external fixator combined with Kirschner wire between July 2020 and January 2023. There were 10 males and 5 females;6 cases on the left side and 9 on the right;age ranged from 22 to 76 years old. Recorded the preoperative and the final follow-up Cooney wrist function scores for the patients. The fracture healing time, and occurrence of complications were recorded. RESULTS: All 15 patients were followed up ranged from 12 to 16 months post-operation. All fractures achieved bony union, healing time ranging form 8 to 16 weeks. Not a single patient exhibited complications such as surgical site infection, fracture redislocation, or tendon injury. All individuals had their Kirschner wires and external fixation devices removed six weeks post-operatively and commenced rehabilitative therapy for wrist articulation. The Cooney wrist function scores at preoperative and ranged from 5 to 45 scores, at the latest follow-up ranged from 65 to 100 scores. At the final follow-up, the results were assessed as excellent in 10 patients, good in 4 patients, and fair in 1 patient. CONCLUSION The clinical efficacy of treating distal radial double-column Die-punch fractures using a dorsal approach external fixator combined with Kirschner wires is satisfactory.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical efficacy and advantages of robot-assisted total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in patients with varus knee osteoarthritis. METHODS: Between October 2022 and June 2023, a total of 59 patients with severe knee osteoarthritis resulting in varus were treated with total knee arthroplasty, aged from 59 to 81 years with an average (70.90±4.63) years, including 19 mals and 40 females. The patients were divided into two groups based on the surgical method used:28 patients in the robot group and 31 patients in the traditional group. The robot group consisted of 8 males and 20 femalse patients, with an average age of (70.54±4.80) years and an average disease duration of (14.89±8.72) months. The traditional group consisted of 11 males and 20 females patients, with an average age of (71.39±4.5) years and an average disease duration of (12.32±6.73) months. The operative duration, amount of bleeding during the operation, postoperative activity time after the operation, hip-knee-ankle angle (HKA), lateral distal femoral angle (LDFA), medial proximal tibial angle (MPTA), and complications were compared between the two groups before and after the operation. Lateral tibia component (LTC), frontal tibia component (FTC), frontal femoral component (FFC) and lateral femoral component (LFC) were measured 6 months after operation Additionally, the degree of knee joint motility, American Knee Society score (KSS), and visual analogue scale(VAS) were compared before and after the operation. RESULTS: All patients had gradeⅠwound healing without any complications, and all patients were followed up for 6 to 8 months, with an average of (6.5±1.5) months. There were no significant differences preoperative imaging evaluation indexes (including HKA, LDFA, and MPTA), preoperative knee mobility, preoperative VAS, and preoperative KSS between the two groups (P>0.05). Comparing the operation time (109.11±7.16) min vs. (83.90±7.85) min, length of the incision (16.60±2.33) cm vs. (14.47±1.41) cm, intraoperative bleeding (106.93±6.15) ml vs. (147.97±7.62) ml, postoperative activity time (17.86±1.84) h vs. (21.77±2.68) h, between the two groups showed statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There were significant differences in FFC (88.96±0.84)° vs. (87.93±1.09)° and LFC (88.57±1.10)° vs. (87.16±1.2)° between the two groups at 6 months after operation (P<0.05). The robotic group 1, 3, 6 months after KSS (75.96±3.96), (81.53±3.78), (84.50±3.29) scores, VAS (3.68±0.67), (2.43±0.79), (0.54±0.64), knee joint mobility (113.32±4.72) °, (123.93±3.99) °, (135.36±2.34) °;Traditional group KSS (73.77±4.18), (76.48±3.60), (80.19±3.28) scores, VAS (4.16±1.04), (3.03±0.75), (1.42±0.76) scores, knee joint mobility (109.19±6.95) °, (119.94±6.08) °, (134.48±2.14) °. Compared to before surgery, both groups showed significant improvement in KSS, VAS and knee mobility during the three follow-up visits (P<0.001). Additionally, postoperative HKA (180.39±1.95)° vs. (178.52±2.23)°, LDFA (89.67±0.63) ° vs. (89.63±0.63)°, and MPTA (89.44±0.55)° vs. (89.29±0.60)° were significantly improved in both groups compared to before surgery (P<0.001). The robotic group had higher KSS than the traditional group at 1, 3, and 6 months after surgery (P<0.05). The robotic group also had lower VAS than the traditional group at 1, 3, and 6 months after surgery (P<0.05). Furthermore, knee mobility was higher in the robotic group than those in the traditional group at 1 and 6 months after surgery (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the two groups at 6 months after surgery. CONCLUSION Robot-assisted total knee arthroplasty is a safe and effective method for total knee replacement. The use of robotics can improve the limb axis and prosthesis alignment for patients with preoperative varus deformity, resulting in better clinical and imaging outcomes compared to the conventional group.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is one of the most common and severe dementias, severely affecting the physical and mental health and quality of life of patients and imposing a heavy burden on society. Recently, transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) has shown great potential for improving cognitive function in AD. Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) are the two main forms of tES. The present review mainly summarizes the neuromolecular mechanisms of tDCS and tACS for the improvement of AD. Both techniques show similarities in exerting neuroprotective effects, improving cerebral blood flow to alleviate cerebrovascular dysfunction, affecting the state and function of astrocytes, affecting the levels of amyloid β‑protein (Aβ) and phosphorylated tau (p-tau) proteins, and affecting neuroplasticity. Specifically, tDCS improves neuronal status, inhibits neuronal apoptosis, improves cholinergic neurons and reduces oxidative stress, etc., and further exerts neuroprotective effects, but tACS mainly maintains the normal function of cholinergic neurons to exert the effects. For the alleviation of cerebrovascular dysfunction, tDCS has particular advantages in optimizing the neural vascular unit and improving the blood-brain barrier. For astrocytes, tDCS attenuates inflammatory responses by inhibiting their activation. In contrast, the effect of tACS on the activation state of microglial cells is still controversial for enhancement in AD mice and inhibition in patients. For Aβ levels, the effects of tDCS in AD patients are also inconclusive, but in AD rodents, tDCS may regulate molecular pathways related to Aβ production and degradation, thereby removing Aβ. In addition, tACS reduces p-tau levels in AD patients, but tDCS shows a trend toward reduction. In short, the effect of tES on Aβ and p-tau needs further investigation. Regarding neuroplasticity, tDCS improves cortical and synaptic plasticity, but tACS improves only synaptic plasticity. However, both techniques do not affect the molecular level associated with plasticity. On the other hand, this review has summarized some interesting findings of tES in non-AD rodents that may be relevant to the pathological mechanisms of AD. For neuroprotection, tDCS can promote neurogenesis, GABAergic and glutamatergic neurotransmission, modulate neuroprotection-related signaling pathways, reduce oxidative stress, and protect hippocampal neurons. In addition, tDCS inhibits conversion of microglia to the M1 phenotype and promotes conversion to the M2 phenotype, thereby reducing neuroinflammation. Importantly, tDCS induces changes in molecular indices associated with synaptic plasticity. These findings in non-AD rodents provide a reference for understanding the potential effect and possible mechanism of tES in AD and for exploring new approaches to treat other diseases with similar pathological features. In addition, tES has shown some effects in AD rodents, such as tACS improving plasticity, that have not been studied in non-AD rodents. These effects suggest the particular complexity of the pathological mechanisms of AD, which should be considered when applying the results of tES studies in non-AD rodents to AD rodents. In conclusion, this review provides a comprehensive overview of the neuromolecular mechanisms of tES in AD research and highlights its promise as a non-invasive brain stimulation technique in the treatment of AD. Furthermore, tES will play an indispensable role in the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders and in the study of brain function.

Objective:To analyze the factors affecting delayed chemotherapy in children with Burkitt lymphoma (BL) and their influence on prognosis.Methods:Retrospective cohort study. Clinical data of 591 children aged ≤18 years with BL from May 2017 to December 2022 in China Net Childhood Lymphoma (CNCL) was collected. The patients were treated according to the protocol CNCL-BL-2017. According to the clinical characteristics, therapeutic regimen was divided into group A, group B and group C .Based on whether the total chemotherapy time was delayed, patients were divided into two groups: the delayed chemotherapy group and the non-delayed chemotherapy group. Based on the total delayed time of chemotherapy, patients in group C were divided into non-delayed chemotherapy group, 1-7 days delayed group and more than 7 days delayed group. Relationships between delayed chemotherapy and gender, age, tumor lysis syndrome before chemotherapy, bone marrow involvement, disease group (B/C group), serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) > 4 times than normal, grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ myelosuppression after chemotherapy, minimal residual disease in the interim assessment, and severe infection (including severe pneumonia, sepsis, meningitis, chickenpox, etc.) were analyzed. Logistic analysis was used to identify the relevant factors. Kaplan-Meier method was used to analyze the patients' survival information. Log-Rank was used for comparison between groups.Results:Among 591 patients, 504 were males and 87 were females, the follow-up time was 34.8 (18.6,50.1) months. The 3-year overall survival (OS) rate was (92.5±1.1)%,and the 3-year event-free survival (EFS) rate was (90.5±1.2)%. Seventy-three (12.4%) patients were in delayed chemotherapy group and 518 (87.6%) patients were in non-delayed chemotherapy group. The reasons for chemotherapy delay included 72 cases (98.6%) of severe infection, 65 cases (89.0%) of bone marrow suppression, 35 cases (47.9%) of organ dysfunction, 22 cases (30.1%) of tumor lysis syndrome,etc. There were 7 cases of chemotherapy delay in group B, which were seen in COPADM (vincristine+cyclophosphamide+prednisone+daunorubicin+methotrexate+intrathecal injection,4 cases) and CYM (methotrexate+cytarabine+intrathecal injection,3 cases) stages. There were 66 cases of chemotherapy delay in group C, which were common in COPADM (28 cases) and CYVE 1 (low dose cytarabine+high dose cytarabine+etoposide+methotrexate, 12 cases) stages. Multinomial Logistic regression analysis showed that the age over 10 years old ( OR=0.54,95% CI 0.30-0.93), tumor lysis syndrome before chemotherapy ( OR=0.48,95% CI 0.27-0.84) and grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ myelosuppression after chemotherapy ( OR=0.55,95% CI 0.33-0.91)were independent risk factors for chemotherapy delay.The 3-year OS rate and the 3-year EFS rate of children with Burkitt lymphoma in the delayed chemotherapy group were lower than those in the non-delayed chemotherapy group ((79.4±4.9)% vs. (94.2±1.1)%, (80.2±4.8)% vs. (92.0±1.2)%,both P<0.05). The 3-year OS rate of the group C with chemotherapy delay >7 days (42 cases) was lower than that of the group with chemotherapy delay of 1-7 days (22 cases) and the non-delay group (399 cases) ((76.7±6.9)% vs. (81.8±8.2)% vs. (92.7±1.3)%, P=0.002).The 3-year OS rate of the chemotherapy delay group (9 cases) in the COP (vincristine+cyclophosphamide+prednisone) phase was lower than that of the non-chemotherapy delay group (454 cases) ((66.7±15.7)% vs. (91.3±1.4)%, P=0.005). Similarly, the 3-year OS rate of the chemotherapy delay group (11 cases) in the COPADM1 phase was lower than that of the non-chemotherapy delay group (452 cases) ((63.6±14.5)% vs. (91.5±1.3)%, P=0.001). Conclusions:The delayed chemotherapy was related to the age over 10 years old, tumor lysis syndrome before chemotherapy and grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ myelosuppression after chemotherapy in pediatric BL. There is a significant relationship between delayed chemotherapy and prognosis of BL in children.

Purpose: The prognosis of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) is extremely poor, and systemic therapy is currently the mainstream treatment. This study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of lenvatinib combined with anti–programmed cell death-1 antibodies and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (triple therapy) in patients with HCC and PVTT. Materials and Methods: This retrospective multicenter study included patients with HCC and PVTT who received triple therapy, were aged between 18 and 75 years, classified as Child-Pugh class A or B, and had at least one measurable lesion. The overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), objective response rates, and disease control rates were analyzed to assess efficacy. Treatment-related adverse events were analyzed to assess safety profiles. Results: During a median follow-up of 11.23 months (range, 3.07 to 34.37 months), the median OS was greater than 24 months, and median PFS was 12.53 months. The 2-year OS rate was 54.9%. The objective response rate and disease control rate were 69.8% (74/106) and 84.0% (89/106), respectively; 20.8% (22/106) of the patients experienced grade 3/4 treatment-related adverse events and no treatment-related deaths occurred. The conversion rate to liver resection was 31.1% (33/106), with manageable postoperative complications. The median OS was not reached in the surgery group, but was 19.08 months in the non-surgery group. The median PFS in the surgery and non-surgery groups were 20.50 and 9.00 months, respectively. Conclusion Triple therapy showed promising survival benefits and high response rates in patients with HCC and PVTT, with manageable adverse effects.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of orthopedic robot combined with Starr pelvic reduction frame in the treatment of Tile type C pelvic ring fracture.Methods From October 2019 to May 2021,14 patients with type C pelvic ring fracture were treated with robotic combined with Starr pelvic reduction frame,including 9 males and 5 females.The age ranged from 33 to 69 years.All the 14 patients had fresh closed fractures without femur,tibia and fibula fracture.Surgery was complet-ed from 4 to 7 d after hospital admission.During the operation,the X-ray carbon bed was used,the pelvic ring was reduced by Starr pelvis reduction frame,and pelvic ring fracture was treated by orthopedic robot.Operation time,bleeding volume,fluo-roscopy times of single screw placement,fracture reduction quality,affected limb function and complications were observed.Radiological reduction was evaluated using Matta scoring standard,and clinical efficacy was evaluated by Majeed pelvic func-tion scoring system at the final follow-up.Results All of 14 patients successfully completed the operation,the operation time was 84 to 141 min,the bleeding volume was 20 to 50 ml,and the fluoroscopy times of single screw insertion was 4 to 9 times.All of 14 patients were followed up for 12 to 24 months.The healing time was 3 to 7 months.No complications such as fracture of internal fixation,screw loosening,infection and nerve injury were found.According to the evaluation criteria of Matta imag-ing reduction,9 cases were excellent,4 cases were good,and 1 case was fair.At the final follow-up,Majeed pelvic function scoring system was used:10 cases were excellent,4 cases were good.Conclusion The treatment of type C pelvic ring fracture with robotic combined Starr pelvis reduction frame is simple,time-saving,less trauma,less complications and effective.
