Chinese Journal of School Health 2026;47(7):962-965
Objective:
To explore the relationship between life skills, psychological resilience and subjective well-being among primary and secondary school students, so as to provide evidence for targeted adolescent mental health education.
Methods:
From September to November, 2025, a total of 5 831 primary and secondary school students from five cities (Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Urumqi) were selected by convenience sampling. The Adolescent Subjective Well being Scale, School based Adolescents Life Skills Scale, and Adolescent Psychological Resilience Scale were used for investigation. Data were analyzed using t-tests, one way ANOVA, and linear regression.
Results:
The total mean score of students subjective well being was (5.46± 0.91) ; the total mean score of life skills was (3.69±0.64); the total mean score of psychological resilience was (3.66±0.69). Statistically significant differences in subjective well being scores were found among students grouped by gender, grade, school stage, residential city, living with parents or living with siblings ( t/F =4.14, 53.92, 14.53, 49.99, 13.49, 2.18, all P <0.01). Stratified regression analyses were performed by gender (adjusting for school stage, residential city and living arrangement) and by school stage (adjusting for gender, residential city and living arrangement), the regression results indicated that life skills of boys, girls, primary school students and junior high school students( β =0.54, 0.53, 0.50, 0.57) and their psychological resilience ( β = 0.56 , 0.60, 0.56, 0.60) were positively associated with subjective well being (all P <0.01).
Conclusions
Life skills and psychological resilience may be important protective factors for subjective well being among primary and secondary school students. School based mental health education should emphasize life skills training and resilience building to promote students subjective well being.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2026;47(9):1229-1233
Objective:
To explore the association between parental subjective well-being and subjective well-being among primary and secondary school students, so as to provide evidence for promoting adolescent mental health from a family perspective.
Methods:
From September to November 2025, a convenience sampling method was used to recruit 4 612 students in grades 4-8 from 12 primary and secondary schools in five cities—Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, and Urumqi—along with their parents. Students completed the Adolescent Well being Survey Questionnaire, while parents completed the Parental Well being Survey Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t-test, one way analysis of variance, multiple linear regression, Logistic regression, and stratified subgroup analyses.
Results:
The maximum score of the subjective well-being scale for primary and secondary school students was 301, with a total score of (224.07±46.63), representing 74.4% of the full score; the maximum score of the parental subjective well-being scale was 120, with a total score of (92.35±15.10), representing 77.0%. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that parental subjective well-being was positively associated with students overall subjective well-being, positive affect, and satisfaction in each domain (friendship, family, school, environment, freedom, and academics), and negatively associated with negative affect ( β =0.45, 0.08, 0.06, 0.07, 0.05, 0.04, 0.05, 0.04, -0.05, all P <0.01). Logistic regression and stratified analysis showed that parental subjective well-being was positively associated with students high subjective well-being ( OR =1.03), and the association existed in subgroups of different gender, grade and family structure ( OR =1.02-1.04) (all P <0.05).
Conclusions
Parental subjective well-being is positively associated with students subjective well-being. Future interventions should incorporate an integrated strategy featuring family-school collaboration to promote adolescent well-being.

Objective Patients with lung cancer often experience interrelated symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and sleep disturbances during chemotherapy, forming a core symptom cluster that significantly impacts daily functioning, treatment experience, and quality of life. Currently, evidence on non-pharmacological management of this core symptom cluster is scattered, and there is a lack of standardized, patient- and caregiver-friendly guidance tools that are easy to understand and implement. This patient guideline aims to provide decision support for self-management of the core symptom cluster in patients undergoing chemotherapy for lung cancer. Methods Guided by evidence-based methodology, qualitative interviews and on-site questionnaire surveys were conducted to identify the health-related needs of stakeholders. Domestic and international guideline websites, relevant professional association websites, and comprehensive databases were systematically searched according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The included literature was evaluated for quality, and recommendations were extracted, integrated, and graded to form a summary of the best evidence. Based on the identified health issues and evidence summary, preliminary recommendations for the patient guideline were developed. The recommendations were then revised through two rounds of Delphi expert consultation, and consensus was reached on the strength of recommendations, forming the final version of the patient guideline. Results The patient guideline covered four major sections: screening and assessment of core symptom clusters, daily management, intervention measures, and timing of referral. The core content included nine aspects: screening of core symptom clusters, assessment, lifestyle habits, dietary interventions, sleep environment, exercise interventions, psychological interventions, Traditional Chinese Medicine interventions, and referral indications. In total, the guidelines addressed 16 health issues and provided 25 recommendations. Conclusion The development process of this patient guideline is rigorous and fully considered the needs of patients. Expert review concludes that the recommendations are highly feasible and appropriate.

Background and Aims:The incidence of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC)has been increasing in recent years.Due to its insidious onset and low rate of early diagnosis, radical resection remains the only potential curative treatment.Lymph node metastasis is a major adverse prognostic factor in ICC,but the scope and therapeutic value of lymphadenectomy remain controversial.Previous studies suggest that patients with central ICC may derive greater survival benefit from lymphadenectomy than those with peripheral ICC.Preoperative assessment of lymph node status mainly relies on imaging, but its accuracy is limited. This study aimed to investigate the prognostic impact of lymphadenectomy in ICC patients at different anatomical sites to inform surgical decision-making.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 220 ICC patients who underwent radical resection at the 904th Hospital of the Joint Logistic Support Force of the PLA from May 2016 to May 2021.The cohort included 126 males and 94 females, with a mean age of(56.76±13.15)years.Patients were categorized into peripheral ICC(n=144)and central ICC(n=76)groups.Clinical characteristics,albumin-bilirubin(ALBI)grade,preoperative risk of lymph node metastasis, number of lymph nodes dissected, lymph node metastasis status, and postoperative survival outcomes were compared.Subgroup analyses were conducted to assess the prognostic value of the number of lymph nodes dissected under different risk stratifications. Results:Significant differences were observed between peripheral and central ICC in ALBI grade(x2=9.952,P=0.002),preoperative lymph node metastasis risk(x2=6.166,P=0.014),number of lymph nodes dissected(x2=4.167,P=0.042),and lymph node metastasis rate(x2=7.331,P=0.007).The 3-year overall survival(OS)rate was higher in peripheral ICC(31.94%)than in central ICC(15.79%)(x2=13.890,P<0.001).Among central ICC patients, those with ≥6 lymph nodes dissected had better 3-year OS than those with<6(16.89%vs.13.04%,x2=3.894,P=0.048).In the high-risk subgroup of central ICC,≥6 lymph nodes dissected was also associated with improved 3-year OS compared with<6(15.62%vs.11.11%,x2=3.962,P=0.047).In contrast, the number of lymph node dissections had no significant prognostic impact in peripheral ICC or in patients classified as low risk. Conclusion:Patients with peripheral ICC had a better prognosis than those with central ICC.Adequate lymphadenectomy(≥6 nodes)improved survival and enhanced staging accuracy in central ICC patients at high risk of lymph node metastasis, highlighting the importance of preoperative risk assessment for optimizing surgical strategies.
