Objective: To explore the relationship between life skills, psychological resilience and subjective well-being among primary and secondary school students, so as to provide evidence for targeted adolescent mental health education. Methods: From September to November, 2025, a total of 5 831 primary and secondary school students from five cities (Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Urumqi) were selected by convenience sampling. The Adolescent Subjective Well being Scale, School based Adolescents Life Skills Scale, and Adolescent Psychological Resilience Scale were used for investigation. Data were analyzed using t-tests, one way ANOVA, and linear regression. Results: The total mean score of students subjective well being was (5.46± 0.91) ; the total mean score of life skills was (3.69±0.64); the total mean score of psychological resilience was (3.66±0.69). Statistically significant differences in subjective well being scores were found among students grouped by gender, grade, school stage, residential city, living with parents or living with siblings ( t/F =4.14, 53.92, 14.53, 49.99, 13.49, 2.18, all P <0.01). Stratified regression analyses were performed by gender (adjusting for school stage, residential city and living arrangement) and by school stage (adjusting for gender, residential city and living arrangement), the regression results indicated that life skills of boys, girls, primary school students and junior high school students( β =0.54, 0.53, 0.50, 0.57) and their psychological resilience ( β = 0.56 , 0.60, 0.56, 0.60) were positively associated with subjective well being (all P <0.01). Conclusions Life skills and psychological resilience may be important protective factors for subjective well being among primary and secondary school students. School based mental health education should emphasize life skills training and resilience building to promote students subjective well being.

Objective To explore the application value of high-flow nasal oxygen therapy combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation in very low birth weight infants after weaning from invasive mechanical ventilation.Methods From February 2022 to May 2024,80 cases of very low birth weight infants who were weaned from invasive mechanical ventilation in Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were selected and divided into single ventilation group and combined oxygen therapy group according to the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.Single ventilation group was intervened with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation,while combined oxygen therapy group was intervened with high-flow nasal oxygen therapy combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.The disappearance time of clinical symptoms,the score of neonatal behavioral neurological assessment(NBNA),vitamin D and blood gas indicators of two groups of premature infants were compared.And the degree of broncho pulmonary dysplasia(BPD)in premature infants was evaluated.Results The disappearance time of clinical symptoms,non-invasive positive pressure ventilation time and total oxygen requirement time of preterm infants in combined oxygen therapy group were significantly shorter than those in single ventilation group(P＜0.05).After 14 days of intervention,the NBNA scores,vitamin D,oxygenation index and blood oxygen saturation of premature infants in both groups were significantly higher than those before intervention in this group(P＜0.05).The NBNA score,vitamin D,oxygenation index and blood oxygen saturation of preterm infants in combined oxygen therapy group were significantly higher than those in single ventilation group(P＜0.05).The degree of BPD in combined oxygen therapy group was significantly milder than that in single ventilation group(x2=8.571,P=0.003).Conclusion After weaning from invasive mechanical ventilation in very low birth weight infants,high-flow nasal oxygen therapy combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation intervention can help reduce inflammatory responses and brain damage,improve blood gas indicators,and lower the degree of BPD.

Objective To observe the correlation between cortical thickness and pathological deposition of β-amyloid(Aβ)in patients with Alzheimer disease(AD)induced mild cognitive impairment(MCI)or dementia.Methods Totally 22 AD patients were prospectively enrolled and divided into dementia group(n=12)and MCI group(n=10)based on the degree of cognitive impairment,while 17 healthy individuals without cognitive impairment were recruited as control group.MR examination and 18F-florbutaben(18F-FBB)PET imaging were performed,the cortical thickness and Aβ deposition value(Centiloid[CL]value)were calculated and compared among 3 groups and between each 2 groups,then the correlation between the above two indexes was analyzed.Results The cortical thickness in dementia group,MCI group and control group was(2.18±0.14),(2.35±0.08)and(2.36±0.09)mm,respectively,with significant difference among 3 groups(P＜0.05).The cortical thickness in dementia group was significantly thinner than that in MCI group and control group(both P＜0.05).CL value in dementia group,MCI group and control group was 77.97(63.07,95.55),65.51(54.54,90.50)and-1.17(-9.66,4.88),respectively,with significant difference among 3 groups(P＜0.05).CL value in dementia group and MCI group were significantly higher than in control group(both P＜0.05).The cortical thickness was moderately negatively correlated with CL value in MCI group(r=-0.580,P=0.048)but not in the other 2 groups(both P＞0.05).Conclusion The cortical thickness was moderately negatively correlated with abnormal deposition of Aβ in patients with AD induced MCI,but was not during dementia.

Objective To observe the correlation between fat fraction(FF)and T2 value of multifidus muscle and Pfirrmann grade of L4-5 intervertebral disc in patients with lumbar muscle strain.Methods Totally 200 L4_5 intervertebral discs in 200 patients with lumbar muscle strain were retrospectively enrolled,including 6 cases of Pfirrmann grade Ⅰ,61 of grade Ⅱ,52 of grade Ⅲ,56 of grade Ⅳ and 25 cases of grade V.Based on modified DIXON quantification(mDIXON-Quant)and T2 mapping,FF and T2 value of multifidus muscle were calculated and compared among intervertebral discs with different Pfirrmann grades,and the correlations between the above parameters and Pfirrmann grade of intervertebral disc were analyzed.Results Significant differences of left,right and bilateral multifidus muscles FF,as well as of T2 values in left and bilateral multifidus muscles were found among L4-5 intervertebral discs with different Pfirrmann grades.Multifidus muscle FF was moderately positively correlated with Pfirrmann grade of L4-5 intervertebral disc(r=0.538,P＜0.05),while T2 value was weakly positively correlated with Pfirrmann grade of L4-5 intervertebral disc(r=0.202,P＜0.05).Conclusion FF of multifidus muscle was moderately positively correlated with Pfirrmann grade of L4-5 intervertebral disc,while T2 value of multifidus muscle was weakly positively correlated with Pfirrmann grade of L4-5 intervertebral disc in patients with lumbar muscle strain.

Objective To observe the effects of a stepped early activity program combined with lower limb joint rehabilitation devices in mechanically ventilated patients in the intensive care unit(ICU).Methods Sixty mechanically ventilated patients admitted to the ICU of Tianjin First Central Hospital from October 2022 to June 2023 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into an intervention group(n=30)and a control group(n=30)using a random number table.The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing combined with lower limb joint rehabilitation devices,while the intervention group was additionally treated with the stepped early activity program.The duration of mechanical ventilation,length of ICU stay,incidence of delirium,Medical Research Council(MRC)muscle strength scores,phase angle(PA),and skeletal muscle mass index(SMI)were compared between the two groups.Results The intervention group showed significantly shorter durations of mechanical ventilation and the length of ICU stay compared to the control group[mechanical ventilation time(days):9.20±4.51 vs.11.73±4.59,the length of ICU stay(days):10.73±5.37 vs.14.00±6.03,both P<0.05].Post-intervention MRC muscle strength scores,PA,and SMI significantly increased in both groups,with greater improvements observed in the intervention group[MRC muscle strength score:54.17±2.10 vs.50.17±3.51;PA(°):5.80±0.60 vs.5.49±0.54;SMI(kg/m2):6.87±0.46 vs.6.62±0.45,all P<0.05].No statistically significant difference was found in delirium incidence between the two groups[26.7%(8/30)vs.33.3%(10/30),P>0.05].Conclusion The combination of a stepped early activity program and lower limb joint rehabilitation devices effectively shortens mechanical ventilation time and the length of ICU stay,restores muscle strength,and promotes recovery in mechanically ventilated ICU patients,demonstrating significant clinical value.

Objective To understand the changing profiles of antimicrobial susceptibility of the bacterial strains isolated from patients at Liuzhou Workers'Hospital in Guangxi from 2020 to 2022.Methods The bacteria were isolated,identified,and underwent antimicrobial susceptibility testing using VITEK 2 Compact,disk diffusion method,or E-test.The results were interpreted according to the breakpoints recommended by CLSI M100 32nd Edition in 2022.The data were analyzed using WHONET 5.6 software.Results A total of 26 254 nonduplicate strains were collected from 2020 to 2022,including Gram-positive bacteria(27.9％)and gram-negative bacteria(72.1％).The prevalence of methicillin-resistant strains was 20.0％in SS.aureus(MRSA),and 72.2％in coagulase-negative Staphylococcus(MRCNS).Methicillin-resistant staphylococcal strains were more resistant to most antimicrobial agents than methicillin-susceptible strains(MSSA and MSCNS).None of the staphylococcal strains was resistant to vancomycin,linezolid or tigecycline.Enterococcus faecium strains showed higher resistance rates to most antimicrobial agents than Enterococcus faecalis.None of enterococcal strains was resistant to vancomycin.A few enterococcal strains were resistant to linezolid.Overall,691 strains of the non-meningitis Streptococcus pneumoniae were isolated from children and 123 strains were isolated from adults.The prevalence of penicillin-resistant SS.pneumoniae(PRSP)was 0.4％in the strains from children and 1.6％in the strains from adults.None of S.pneumoniae strains was intermediate to penicillin.The prevalence of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae(CRKpn)was 1.2％,1.2％,and 13.8％in 2020,2021,and 2022,respectively.The prevalence of carbapenem-resistant P.aeruginosa(CRPae)and carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAba)was 10.7％and 68.4％in 2020,17.5％and 75.2％in 2021,14.3％and 77.3％in 2022,respectively.About 84.6％of the 1 269 strains of Haemophilus influenzae were isolated from children and 15.4％isolated from adults.The prevalence of beta-lactamase-producing strains was 39.4％in the isolates from children and 46.8％in the isolates from adults.The β-lactamase-producing H.influenzae was resistant to ampicillin.Furthermore,some β-lactamase-nonproducing ampicillin-resistant(BLNAR)H.influenzae strains(27.0％)were also identified.Conclusions Antimicrobial resistance is still serious in this hospital,especially high prevalence of carbapenem-resistant organisms(CRO).Hospital infection prevention and control measures,antibiotic stewardship,and proactive CRO screening should be strengthened.More clinical specimens should be collected for suspected infections.Antimicrobial treatment should be prescribed empirically in time and adjusted when the results of antimicrobial susceptibility testing are available.

Objective:To analyze the current situation of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and its influencing factors among community-dwelling elderly with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) based on the health ecology model (HEM).Methods:From December 2023 to September 2024, a cross-sectional survey was conducted among 997 community-dwelling elderly in Beijing, Shandong, Chongqing and other regions. The EuroQol five-dimensional questionnaire 5 level (EQ-5D-5L), the Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA), and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) were used to assess the subjects.Descriptive analysis, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Tobit regression analysis were performed using Stata 18.0 software. Results:A total of 324 valid samples were finally obtained, and the health utility value of MCI elderly was 0.842(0.815, 0.951). Tobit regression analysis showed that ≥80 years old( β=-0.121, 95% CI=-0.193--0.050) in individual traits level, don't exercise( β=-0.196, 95% CI=-0.255--0.137) and poor quality of sleep ( β=-0.064, 95% CI=-0.116--0.013) in behavior characteristics level, and poor subjective economic status( β=-0.153, 95% CI=-0.261--0.045) in living and working conditions level were risk factors for the health utility value of the elderly with MCI. Drinking( β=0.096, 95% CI=0.022-0.171) in behavior characteristics level and participating in social activities( β=0.126, 95% CI=0.062-0.190) in interpersonal network level were protective factors for the health utility value of the elderly with MCI. Conclusions:The HRQOL of the community-dwelling elderly with MCI in China is low, and its influencing factors are multi-level. HEM should be combined to strengthen the intervention and management of the elderly with MCI from personal constitution to policy environment to improve their HRQOL.

To report a case of Stormorken syndrome(STRMK)diagnosed in adulthood and to study its clinical,pathological and genetic characteristics.The individual was a 31-year-old male whose symptoms started from childhood with epilepsy as initial symptom.He gradually developed progressive muscle weakness and atrophy.The patient's clinical data,laboratory results,and imaging studies were collected.A biopsy on the patient's left gastrocnemius muscle was conducted.Simultaneously,whole-exome sequencing on both the patient and his parents was performed.The physical examination of the patient showed short stature,proximal muscle weakness with lower limb predominance,accompanied by joint contracture and scoliosis.Abdominal CT examination revealed asplenia and magnetic resonance image(MRI)showed obvious fat infiltration in the bilateral lower limb muscle.Muscle biopsy was consistent with tubular-aggregate myopathy.Genetic test indicated that the patient had a c.326A>G(p.His109Arg)heterozygous mutation in the stromal interaction molecule 1(STIM1)gene,a known pathogenic mutation.This study further enables neurologists to gain a better understanding of this rare disease.
