OBJECTIVE:
By analyzing the hormone secretion of the adenohypophysis, thyroid glands, gonads, and adrenal cortex in patients with hematological diseases before and after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), this study aims to preliminarily explore the effect of HSCT on patients' hormone secretion and glandular damage.
METHODS:
The baseline data of 209 hematological disease patients who underwent HSCT in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2023, as well as the data on the levels of hormones secreted by the adenohypophysis, thyroid glands, gonads and adrenal cortex before and after HSCT were collected, and the changes in hormone levels before and after transplantation were analyzed.
RESULTS:
After allogeneic HSCT, the levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), triiodothyronine (T3), free triiodothyronine (FT3) and estradiol (E2) decreased, while the levels of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle- stimulating hormone (FSH) increased. The T3 level of patients with decreased TSH after transplantation was lower than that of those with increased TSH after transplantation. In female patients, the levels of prolactin (PRL), progesterone (Prog), and testosterone (Testo) decreased after HSCT. Testo and PRL decreased when there was a donor-recipient sex mismatch, and the levels of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and cortisol (COR) decreased when the HLA matching was haploidentical. The levels of T3, FT3, and PRL decreased after autologous HSCT. In allogeneic HSCT patients, the levels of TSH, T4, T3, FT3, and ACTH in the group with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) were significantly lower than those in the group without GVHD. Logistic regression analysis showed the changes in hormone levels after transplantation were not correlated with factors such as the patient's sex, age, or whether the blood types of the donor and the recipient are the same.
CONCLUSION
HSCT can affect the endocrine function of patients with hematological diseases, mainly affecting target glandular organs such as the thyroid, gonads, and adrenal glands, while the secretory function of the adenohypophysis is less affected.

Foodborne illnesses caused by Salmonella pose significant threats to worldwide public health safety. In this study,a rapid method for screening viable Salmonella in oyster sauce and milk was developed by utilizing an electronic microbial growth analyzer(EMGA).Target food samples were diluted 10-fold with RVS broth and loaded into test tubes.Test tubes were positioned in the EMGA to determine the bacterial growth curves and the time required to reach the maximum growth rate(Tmgr).Using Salmonella typhimurium(S.typhimurium)asan model species, there was linear relationship between the logarithmic value of viable bacterial concentration(lgC)and Tmgr over the range of 5×101-5×106 CFU/mL,with a detection limit of 10 CFU/mL.For oyster sauce, the regression equation was Tmgr(min)=-80.775lg[C/(CFU/mL)]+754.96(R2=0.9907),and the recovery rates of S.typhimurium ranged from 95.2%to 119.8%,with relative standard deviations(RSD)ranging from 3.5%to 16.3%.For milk, the regression equation was Tmgr(min)=-71.922 lg[C/(CFU/mL)]+618.65(R2=0.9985),with recovery rates ranging from 98.4%to 110.6%and RSD ranging from 6.4%to 12.8%.The EMGA method required only one portable instrument, and involving only three manual steps,i.e.,dilution,transfer,and insertion. When S.typhimurium contamination reached 106 CFU/mL,the total time consumption, from the unwrapping of samples to the readout of bacterial concentration, was no more than 7 h.When applied to detection of actual oyster sauce and milk samples, the new method demonstrated strong consistency with plate counting results in positive detection rates. This method was superior to the plate counting method, which was generally considered as a gold standard,in terms of accuracy, precision, simplicity and efficiency, representing a promising alternative for the on-site screening and quantification of viable Salmonella in oyster sauce and milk products.

Objective To observe CT and MRI manifestations of gastritis cystica profunda(GCP).Methods Seventeen patients with GCP confirmed by operation or biopsy pathology were enrolled, and lesions'CT and MRI manifestations were observed. Results Among 17 cases,16 cases(16/17,94.12%)were found with single lesion and 1(1/17,5.88%)with diffuse multiple lesions. The lesion located in the fundus of stomach in 5 cases(5/17,29.41%),in the body of stomach in 4 cases(4/17,23.53%),in the cardia and antrum of stomach each in 3 cases(3/17,17.65%)and in the pylorus in 1 case(1/17,5.88%),while 1 case(1/17,5.88%)was found with diffused multiple lesions within stomach.Non-enhance CT showed local thickening of gastric wall in 10 cases(10/17,58.82%),all were isodensities, and the mucosa uniformly enhanced in contrast enhance CT(CECT).Predominately cystic lesion in 5 cases(5/17,29.41%)presented as submucosal cystic protrusions, and grew into the stomach cavity with circular or oblong low density in non-enhanced CT,while sandwich enhancement of mucosa was observed in CECT.Among these 5 cases(5/17,29.41%),MRI showed lesion confined to the submucosa with low signal on T1WI and high signal on T2WI,while diffusion weighted imaging showed unrestricted diffusion, and the enhancement pattern was consistent with that of CT in 2 cases. In other 2 cases(2/17,11.77%)with cystic-solid lesion,non-enhanced CT showed soft tissue density, while CECT showed lump-like stratified enhancement. Conclusion CT and MRI manifestations of GCP had certain characteristics.

Objective To compare the effects of 20 mg qd and 10 mg bidadministration of iprrazole enteric-coated tablets on the control of gastric acid in healthy subjects. Methods A randomized,single-center,parallel controlled trial was designed to include 8 healthy subjects.Randomly divided into 2 groups,20 mg qd administration group:20 mg enteric-coated tablets of iprrazole in the morning;10 mg bid administration group:10 mg enteric-coated tablets of iprrazole in the morning and 10 mg in the evening. The pH values in the stomach of the subjects before and 24 h after administration were monitored by pH meter. The plasma concentration of iprazole after administration was determined by HPLC-MS/MS.The main pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated by Phoenix WinNonlin(V8.0)software.Results The PK parameters of iprrazole enteric-coated tablets and reference preparations in fasting group were as follows:The Cmax of 20 mg qd group and 10 mg bid group were(595.75±131.15)and(283.50±96.98)ng·mL-1;AUC0-t were(5 531.94±784.35)and(4 686.67±898.23)h·ng·mL-1;AUC0-∞ were(6 003.19±538.59)and(7 361.48±1 816.77)h·ng·mL-1,respectively.The mean time percentage of gastric pH>3 after 20 mg qd and 10 mg bid were 82.64%and 61.92%,and the median gastric pH within 24 h were 6.25±1.49 and 3.53±2.05,respectively.The mean gastric pH values within 24 h were 5.71±1.36 and 4.23±1.45,respectively.The correlation analysis of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamics showed that there was no significant correlation between the peak concentration of drug in plasma and the inhibitory effect of acid. Conclusion Compared with the 20 mg qd group and the 10 mg bid group, the acid inhibition effect is better, the administration times are less, and the safety of the two administration regimes is good.
