Lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality worldwide. Coupled with the substantial workload, the clinical management of lung cancer is challenged by the critical need to efficiently and accurately process increasingly complex medical information. In recent years, large language models (LLMs) technology has undergone explosive development, demonstrating unique advantages in handling complex medical data by leveraging its powerful natural language processing capabilities, and its application value in the field of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment is continuously increasing. The paper systematically analyzes that the exceptional potential of LLMs in lung cancer auxiliary diagnosis, tumor feature extraction, automatic staging, progression/outcome analysis, treatment recommendations, medical documentation generation, and patient education. However, they face critical technical and ethical challenges including inconsistent performance in complex integrated decision-making (e.g., TNM staging, personalized treatment suggestions) and "black box" opacity issues, along with dilemmas such as training data biases, model hallucinations, data privacy concerns, and cross-lingual adaptation challenges ("data colonization"). Future directions should prioritize constructing high-quality multimodal corpora specific to lung cancer, developing interpretable and compliant specialized models, and achieving seamless integration with existing clinical workflows. Through dual drivers of technological innovation and ethical standardization, LLMs should be prudently advanced for holistic lung cancer management processes, ultimately promoting efficient, standardized, and personalized diagnosis and treatment practices.

Objective To establish a human monocytic THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cell model and analyze the role of the α subunit of coatomer protein Ⅰ(α-COP)in apolipoprotein A-1(apoA-1)-mediated cholesterol efflux from foam cells.Methods THP-1 cells were induced to adhere using PMA(PMA group),followed by treatment with acetylated low-density lipoprotein(Ac-LDL)to generate macrophage-derived foam cells(Ac-LDL group).Subsequent incubation with apoA-1 formed the apoA-1 group.Cholesterol efflux rates mediated by apoA-1 and intracellular lipid accumulation were quantified through liquid scintillation counting and oil red O staining.The expression patterns of α-COP were systematically analyzed using quantitative real-time PCR(qPCR),Western blotting,and laser scanning confocal microscopy.THP-1 macrophage-derived foam cells mediated by apoA-1 were transduced with scrambled shRNA(Scr group)or α-COP-specific shRNA lentivirus(α-COP shRNA group)to assess the effects of α-COP knockdown on cholesterol efflux efficiency and total cellular cholesterol content.Subcellular localization of adipopoilin(ADFP)and cholesterol probe Fil-ipin Ⅲ staining patterns were visualized via laser scanning confocal microscopy.Bioinformatics analysis of α-COP expression profiles in carotid atherosclerotic plaques was performed using datasets from the GEO data-base.Results Compared with the Ac-LDL group,the cholesterol efflux rate in the apoA-1 group was signifi-cantly increased[(9.77±0.79)%vs.(2.74±0.37)%,P＜0.001].Oil red O staining demonstrated reduced lipid accumulation in foam cells of the apoA-1 group compared with the Ac-LDL group.The relative mRNA expression level of α-COP in the apoA-1 group was significantly higher than that in the Ac-LDL group(P＜0.001),with corresponding elevation in protein expression(P＜0.001).Fluorescence intensity analysis re-vealed increased mean fluorescence intensity of α-COP in the apoA-1 group compared with the Ac-LDL group.Following α-COP knockdown by shRNA,the apoA-1-mediated cholesterol efflux rate was significantly de-creased(P＜0.05)and total intracellular cholesterol levels were increased(P＜0.001)in the α-COP shRNA group compared with the Scr group.The α-COP shRNA group exhibited enhanced red fluorescence intensity of ADFP(P＜0.05)and increased blue fluorescence intensity of Filipin Ⅲ(P＜0.01)compared with the Scr group.Database analysis indicated that α-COP mRNA expression was lower in carotid atherosclerotic plaques than in normal arterial tissues,with reduced expression in advanced-stage plaques compared with early-stage plaques(P＜0.05).Conclusion α-COP participates in apoA-1-mediated cholesterol efflux from foam cells,and interference with α-COP expression results in reduced cholesterol efflux and increased intracellular lipid accumulation.

【Objective】 To explore the relationship between the storage time of leukodepleted red blood cells and transfusion adverse reactions by analyzing the occurrence of transfusion adverse reactions of patients after leukodepleted red blood cells transfusion from four hospitals. 【Methods】 By using the electronic medical record management system, the collection and transfusion dates of leukodepleted red blood cells from four hospitals in Enshi Prefecture from 2018 to 2022, as well as the information on transfusion adverse reactions, were retrieved. 【Results】 From 2018 to 2022, a total of 697 61 bags of leukodepleted red blood cells were transfused in four hospitals, resulting in 166 cases of transfusion adverse reactions, among which 93 were allergic reactions, 63 were non hemolytic febrile reactions, and 10 were others, with a total incidence rate of transfusion adverse reactions at 0.24%. The average storage time of leukodepleted red blood cells with and without transfusion adverse reactions was (20.25±6.31) and (19.88±5.50) days, respectively. With a storage time of 7 days as the threshold, the incidence of transfusion adverse reactions was the lowest for a storage time of 15~21 days. The incidence of transfusion adverse reactions of leukodepleted red blood cells in two groups (with storage days ≤21 days and >21 days) was not statistically significant(P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 Allergic reactions were the main type of transfusion adverse reaction caused by leukodepleted red blood cells, and the incidence of transfusion adverse reactions decreased and then increased with the prolongation of the storage time of leukodepleted red blood cells. There was no significant difference in the incidence of transfusion adverse reactions with leukodepleted red blood cells stored for ≤ 21 days and >21 days.

Objective:To establish a safe, effective, simple, and more economically feasible method to obtain platelet-rich plasma (PRP).Methods:Whole blood was collected from 24 patients with atrophic acne scars on the face. For the preparation of PRP, a slight modification of Choukroun＇s method was used. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the levels of platelet derived growth factor-β(PDGF-β), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), epidermal growth factor (EGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), isulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) in normal plasma and PRP.Results:The average concentration of PDGF-β in PRP was (755.61±418.31) ng/L, which was higher than [(479.93±279.18) ng/L] in normal plasma ( t=3.479, P<0.01). The average concentration of TGF-β1 in PRP was (2267.00±1223.68), which was higher than [(1535.50±910.91) ng/L] in normal plasma ( t=7.082, P<0.01). The average concentration of EGF in PRP was (30.70±12.39) ng/L, which was higher than [(20.77±10.31) ng/L] in normal plasma ( t=6.899, P<0.01). The average concentration of VEGF in PRP was (25.42±17.69) ng/L, which was higher than [(12.01±7.77) ng/L] in normal plasma ( t=5.230, P<0.01). The average concentration of bFGF was (17.85±7.17) ng/L, which was higher than [(10.90±4.73) ng/L] in normal plasma ( t=6.050, P<0.01). The average concentration of IGF-1 was (201.22±36.80) ng/ml, which was higher than [(174.90±33.80) ng/ml] in normal plasma ( t=3.760, P<0.01). Conclusions:Compared to normal plasma, modified PRP contains higher levels of growth factors. The modified method is a reliable option for liquid PRP, especially applicable for invasive cosmetic laser surgery to promote wound repair.

Objective To investigate sun protection behavior among middle-aged and elderly women in Beijing.Methods The central (Xuanwumen district) and peripheral areas (Yanqing district) of Beijing city were selected for investigation from May to June in 2016.By random sampling and field investigation,interviewees completed questionnaires with the help of dermatologists.Results A total of 400 females aged 40-90 years were investigated,including 190 in the Xuanwumen district and 210 in the Yanqing district.Among all the subjects,the average duration of outdoor activities was 2 hours.Moreover,117 (29.2％) of the 400 interviewees had the active sun exposure habit,including 38 (18.1％) in the Yanqing district and 79 (41.6％) in the Xuanwumen district,and the proportion of subjects with the active sun exposure habit significantly differed between the two districts (x2 =26.582,P ＜ 0.001).In addition,67 (16.8％) interviewees had a sunburn history,and 130 (32.5％) were used to applying sunscreen.The proportion of sunscreen users was significantly higher in moderately or highly educated women (103 [45.2％]) than in lowly educated women (28/172 [16.3％],P ＜ 0.001).The proportion of sunscreen users in women with skin type Ⅲ (41.2％ [70/170]) was significantly higher than that in those with skin type Ⅳ (26.5％ [61/230],P =0.002).The scores for facial skin aging and dorsal hand skin aging were both significantly lower in sunscreen users than in non-users (Z =18.536,10.731,P =0.002,0.026,respectively).Conclusion The active sun exposure habit in the middle-aged and elderly women differs between the central and peripheral areas of Beijing,and the use of sunscreen is associated with education level.

In order to improve the teaching of biochemistry and molecular biology experiment course and improving students' mastery of theoretical knowledge and comprehensive quality,we made a series of reform in the teaching of biochemistry and molecular biology experiment course,including enriching of teaching content (for example,updating content,setting up experiments,adding design/comprehensive experiments),reforming teaching mode (for example,increasing teaching methods and demonstration teaching),perfecting the system of teaching evaluation (matching laboratory report and experiment assessment).Through the questionnaire after the teaching reform,it was found that the students are more enthusiastic about the experiment course than before,and their experiment technology is more proficient.In addition to that,the teaching effect of biochemistry and molecular biology experiment course has been obviously improved.The methods and effects of the above reforms in recent years are summarized in order to provide useful reference for the experimental teaching of Biochemistry and molecular biology in medical colleges.

Objective To construct the teaching model of medical statistics in universities of TCM through the questionnaire of knowledge,attitude and practice structure.Methods Medical statistics KAP questionnaire survey was conducted among postgraduates using proportional stratified sampling according to the grade.It describes the present situation and calculates the knowledge loss coefficient,knowledge demand index and behavioral application intensity of medical statistics.The Chi-square test was used to analyze the differences among different grades.Results 109 questionnaires were withdrawn.The recovery was 83.84％.45 cases (41.3％) were first year postgraduate,33 cases (30.3％) were 2nd year postgraduate,and 31 cases (28.4％) were 3rd year postgraduate.At the knowledge level,the knowledge loss coefficient of the second year postgraduates was 0.635,and there was no statistical difference (P=-0.651) vs the first year postgraduate (0.638).At the attitude level,Knowledge demand index had no statistical significance difference (P=0.213)between postgraduates in grade two (96.87％) and grade three (75.00％).Most medical postgraduates held positive attitudes toward medical statistics,hoping to strengthen the training of their application ability such as medical statistics in design and research thinking (29.18％),the statistical methods selection and the interpretation of the results (31.53％) and the statistical software operation (36.07％).At the practice level,the percentage of application intensity with statistical methods of third-year postgraduates (100.00％) was higher than the second-year postgraduates (37.50％),and the second-year postgraduates higher than the first-year postgraduates (20.45％).And with the growth of year,the percentage of application intensity was gradually increasing (P=O.O03).Among them,published scientific papers accounted for 16.5％,and 58.6％ paper grade concentrated in the core journals.Conclusion Application development should be enhanced by modularization teaching with practical issues.

It was found that psoralen derivative could perform a Friedel-Crafts acylation smoothly with acetic anhydride to give 5'-acetylpsoralen in a 73% yield. In the presence of boron trifluoride etherate, 5'-acetylpsoralen reacted with both aromatic amines and aliphatic amine smoothly to afford 5'-Schiff-base group substituted psoralen derivatives in 72%-92% yields. The novel synthetic method has the advantages of cheap materials, mild reaction conditions, good yields and high regioselectivity in the Friedel-Crafts acylation. Cell viability assay by MTT demonstrates that some of the psoralen derivatives 6 have antiproliferative activities.

Objective To explore the effect of glucose fluctuation on resistin. Methods The phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate(PMA)-activated and differentiated U937 cells were exposed to experimental condition for 3 days, three groups of cells were formed, each one receiving the following fresh medium every 6 hours, respectively: (1) continuous 11.1 mmol/L glucose concentration medium (Con group), (2)continuous 22.2 mmol/L glucose concentration medium (CHG group), (3) alternating 11.1 mmol/L glucose concentration and 22. 2 mmol/L glucose concentration medium every 6 hours (IHG group). The supernatants of cell mediam at the last 6 hours were collected to test resistin concentration. Besides, 92 subjects were selected and classified into three groups according to the results of oral glucose tolerance test:normal glucose tolerance group ( NGT group, n =30), impaired glucose tolerance patients (IGT group, n =31) and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients (T2DM group, n =31). Blood glucose and serum resistin levels were measured at 0 h and 1 h during oral glucose tolerance test ( OGTT) to compare the glucose fluctuation (△Glu1-0) and the change of serum resistin level (△lnRes1-0) among the three groups. Results Resistin concentration in the Con , CHG and IHG group was (73.62 ± 5.07)ng/L, (97.78 ±7.00)ng/L and(212.49 ± 28. 81 )ng/L respectively and in IHG group it was higher as compared with the other two groups (P<0.05). △Glu1-0 in NGT, IGT and T2DM group was(2.31 ±2.30)mmol/L,(5.70 ±2.08)mmol/L and (8.41 ±2.63)mmol/L respectively; △Glu1-0 increased gradually in all the three groups (P<0.05). Serum resistin level from 0 h to 1 h in the NGT group was 6.41 (1.52-15.76) μg/L to 6. 96( 1.52-22. 70) μg/L, in the IGT group 5.47( 1.49-24. 09)μg/L to 9. 12( 1.27-21.94)μg/L and in the T2DM group 5.77( 1.11-30.10) μg/L to 9. 27(1.02-48.15)μg/L In the IGT and T2DM group serum resistin level increased from 0 h to 1 h (P<0.05), but no difference was observed in the NGT group (P>0. 05).△lnRes1-0 in these 3 groups was (0.05 ± 0.05) μg/L, (0.25 ± 0.04) μg/L and (0.37 ± 0.03 )μg/L respectively and the change in the T2DM group was significant as compared with that in the NGT group,△lnRes1-0 was positively correlated with △Glu1-0 (r = 0.23, P = 0.02). Conclusion Glucose fluctuation induced monocyte/macrophage to secrete resistin, greater the glucose fluctuation, greater the change of amplitude of serum resistin.
