Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of norovirus outbreaks in Haidian District, Beijing, and to provide a reference for epidemic prevention and control. Methods Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to organize and statistically analyze the norovirus outbreak data reported from 2016 to 2022. Results A total of 26 outbreaks of norovirus were reported in Haidian District, with a total of 1595 cases and an attack rate M (Q_R) of 8.23 (16.33)%. There were 24 cases of norovirus type GII (92.31%), 1 case of type GI (3.85%), and 1 case of mixed infection of virus type GI/GII (3.85%). The highest number of reported outbreaks occurred in March and April, with 17 cases, accounting for 65.38%. The highest number of reported cases was in November and December, with 785 cases, accounting for 44.92%. The case age M (Q_R) was 18 (14) years old. The detection rate of positive samples in different age groups had statistical significance（χ²=12.021, P=0.007). The 26 outbreaks were mainly distributed in collective units such as schools, preschool institutions, and enterprises and institutions. There were a total of 11 outbreaks related to foodborne transmission, with 923 cases, accounting for 57.87%. Diarrhea was positively correlated with the age of the cases (r_s=0.572, P<0.001), while vomiting was negatively correlated with the age of the cases (r_s=-0187, P<0.001). The time interval between the onset of acute gastroenteritis symptoms in the first case and the reporting of the epidemic was positively correlated with the duration of the epidemic (r_s=0.586, P=0.002). Conclusion It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of norovirus in schools (primary and secondary schools and colleges), strictly implement health monitoring and regular screening for kitchen workers, carry out publicity and education, detect cases as early as possible, report the epidemic in a timely manner, and effectively reduce the scale of the epidemic and prevent its spread.

As a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma,Burkitt lymphoma is characterized by unfixed location of disease,rapid progression,diverse symptoms,and clinical complexity in diagnosis and treatment.Professor Wang Xixing posits that Burkitt lymphoma manifests as a tangible mass,and its formation is associated with the invasion of exogenous pathogens,internal injury induced by seven emotions,and deficiency of healthy qi.The fundamental pathogenesis involves dysfunction of the liver,spleen and kidney,leading to liver qi stagnation,spleen-stomach deficiency in the middle energizer,and liver-kidney disharmony.The secondary manifestations were caused by the binding of phlegm-damp,toxin,and stasis.In general,the pathogenesis of Burkitt lymphoma presented deficiency in the origin and excess in the superficiality,and deficiency interweaved with excess.In clinical practice,Professor Wang emphasizes the regulation of the functions of liver,spleen and kidney,and maintains the body's yin-yang balance on the basis of the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation.Therapeutic strategies focus on soothing liver qi,replenishing qi to strengthen the spleen,and tonifying the kidney to regulate the liver,separately through the utilization of Chaihu Sanjie Decoction,Buzhong Yiqi Decoction,and Bushen Tiaogan Decoction.In this way,significant clinical efficacy is usually achieved.

ObjectiveTo establish an adjusted Serfling regression model to estimate the excess cases and the excess epidemic period of hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) in Beijing from 2011 to 2019, so as to provide data support and decision-making basis for HFMD prevention and control. MethodsThe weekly number of HFMD cases in Beijing from 2011 to 2019 was utilized for adjusted the Serfling regression model. Then the adjusted model was used to fit the baseline and epidemic threshold of HFMD in Beijing from 2011 to 2019, calculating the excess cases and determining the excess epidemic period. ResultsA total of 279 306 cases of HFMD were reported in Beijing from 2011 to 2019, with the climax of the disease occurring in summer and autumn. After adjusting the fitting R² of the Serfling regression model to 0.773, a total of 10 excess epidemic periods totaling 92 weeks were estimated, mainly occurring in summer. The highest number of excess cases during an excess epidemic period was found in 2014 (1 272 cases, 95%CI: 990‒1 554), accounting for 65.04% of the actual cases (95%CI: 50.62%‒79.46%). ConclusionThe adjusted Serfling regression model fits well and can be utilized for early warning of HFMD and estimating the disease burden caused by HFMD.

BackgroundSchizophrenia is a complex， chronic and severe mental disorder， and the pathogenesis of which has not been fully elucidated. The abnormalities in lipid metabolism and circulating metabolomes have already been implicated in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. However， available studies have mainly focused on a few liposomes and circulating metabolites， failing to systematically reveal the mediating role of circulating metabolomes in the causal relationship between liposomes and schizophrenia. ObjectiveTo uncover mediating role of circulating metabolomes in the causal relationship between liposomes and schizophrenia， thereby providing biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets for the prevention and treatment of schizophrenia. MethodsData from Genome-Wide Association Studies （GWAS） were analyzed， taking data on 179 liposomes as exposure variables， data on 123 circulating metabolites as intermediate variables， and data on schizophrenia as outcome variable. A two-step， two-sample Mendelian randomization analysis was conducted using the inverse-variance weighted （IVW）， MR- Egger， Weighted median， and Weighted mode methods to study the causal relationship of liposomes with schizophrenia and the mediating role of circulating metabolomes in the relationship. ResultsIVW model identified 8 lipids associated with schizophrenia without reverse causality. There were 5 circulating metabolomes strongly associated with schizophrenia. Acetate played a significant mediating role in the causal relationship between phosphatidylinositol （18：0_18：2） and schizophrenia （P=0.023， 95% CI： 0.036~0.532）， accounting for 28.4% of the causal relationship. Objective:To investigate the subacute toxicity and target organs of triethylenediammonium perchlorate ammonium complex salt (DAP-4) .Methods:In August 2024, 40 SPF-grade SD rats were selected, with 10 rats in each group, half male and half female. There were 45, 140, and 420 mg/kg DAP-4 groups and a control group. Rats in each dose DAP-4 group were orally administered the corresponding amount of DAP-4 solution, while the control group was given the same dose of 1% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. SD rats were given intragastric administration once a day for 28 consecutive days. The behaviors, histopathological changes, and blood physiological and biochemical indicators of rats were detected at the corresponding time points respectively. One-way analysis of variance was used for the comparison of quantitative data between groups.Results:Compared with the control group, the body weight, food intake and food utilization rate of female and male rats in the 420 mg/kg DAP-4 group were significantly decreased ( P<0.05), while no abnormalities were observed in the other dose groups. Compared with the control group, the white blood cell count of female rats in the 420 mg/kg DAP-4 group decreased, while the hemoglobin and hematocrit decreased and the total serum protein increased of male rats ( P<0.05). Compared with the control group, fibrinogen was increased in both female and male rats in the 420 mg/kg DAP-4 group, and the thrombin time of female rats was shortened ( P<0.05). In each dose group, the livers of female and male rats showed varying degrees of vacuolar degeneration, and the renal tubules of female rats were swollen. Conclusion:420 mg/kg DAP-4 can cause damage to the liver and kidney of rats, and the maximal no effect level of DAP-4 for rats is 140 mg/kg.

Objective:To compare the enrichment effects of ultrafiltration, polyethylene glycol (PEG) precipitation, aluminum salt precipitation, and anionic membrane adsorption-elution on viruses in drinking water.Methods:Using phage MS2 as the target virus, three different concentrations of drinking water samples were prepared, and the samples were enriched by ultrafiltration 1, ultrafiltration 2, PEG precipitation, aluminum salt precipitation, and anionic membrane adsorption-elution method, respectively. Real-time fluorescence quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to quantify MS2 nucleic acid in pre and post concentrated samples and the recovery rates of MS2 in samples with high, medium and low concentrations were compared among the five methods.Results:Comparing the MS2 enrichment recovery rates of individual enrichment method in water samples of different concentrations, ultrafiltration method 1, PEG precipitation method, aluminum salt precipitation method, and membrane adsorption-elution method were not affected by the sample concentration, and the differences of the recovery rates for the three concentration water samples among the four methods were not statistically significant ( P>0.05). The MS2 enrichment recovery rates of the five enrichment methods were significantly different in all concentration samples ( P<0.05). The recovery rates of ultrafiltration method 1 were higher in all three concentration samples, followed by aluminum salt precipitation and anionic membrane adsorption-elution, PEG precipitation were higher in high concentration samples, but lower in low and medium concentration samples, and the recovery rates of ultrafiltration method 2 were the lowest in all three concentration samples. Comparing the Ct values of MS2 in the enriched samples by five methods, the Ct values of ultrafiltration method 1 were the smallest in the three concentration water samples. There was no statistically significant difference in MS2 Ct values among the five enrichment methods in the medium and high concentration water samples ( P>0.05). In low concentration simulated water samples, only the difference of MS2 Ct value between ultrafiltration method 1 and ultrafiltration method 2 was statistically significant ( Z=16.000, P=0.016). Conclusions:Considering the operation simplicity, operation time and virus recovery rate after enrichment, ultrafiltration was the most effective method for virus enrichment in drinking water.

Objective:To evaluate the long-term protective efficacy of the recombinant Chinese hamster ovary cell-derived hepatitis B vaccine（CHO-HepB）26 years post-vaccination in the rural China.Methods:Zhengding county，Hebei province was designated as a rural monitoring site for CHO-HepB efficacy. Study participants included individuals born between 1997 and 1999 who had completed the three-dose CHO-HepB primary series without booster doses. A cross-sectional survey was conducted in late 2024 using random sampling. Demographic and vaccination history data were collected via questionnaires，and hepatitis B virus（HBV）serological markers were detected using chemiluminescence. Historical surveillance data were integrated to infer infection statuses of HBsAg-positive individuals and evaluate longitudinal trends in anti-HBs seropositivity and antibody titers.Results:Among 178 participants（mean time since vaccination：26.2 years），the seroprevalence rates were 0.6% for HBsAg（95% CI：0.0%-1.6%），64.6% for anti-HBs（95% CI：57.6%-71.6%），and 1.1% for anti-HBc（95% CI：0.0%-2.7%）. Compared to the pre-vaccination baseline HBsAg positivity of 11.3% in children under 10 years of age，the estimated vaccine protection rate was 95%. Two notable cases were identified：one with concurrent HBsAg and anti-HBc positivity and one with anti-HBs and anti-HBc positivity，suggestive of transient HBV exposure（1999—2009）without chronicity. Natural immune boosting was inferred for the latter case based on anti-HBs titer dynamics. Longitudinal analysis of four prior cross-sectional surveys（2005，2009，2013，and 2017）revealed no significant upward trends in HBsAg and anti-HBc positivity（both P>0.05）over 26 years，while anti-HBs seropositivity declined significantly（ P<0.05）from 6 to 26 years post-vaccination. Conclusion:The CHO-HepB vaccine demonstrates sustained immunological persistence and robust long-term protection up to 26 years post-immunization. Continued emphasis on rigorous implementation of mother-to-child transmission prevention strategies is critical for future hepatitis B control.

Porcine deltacoronavirus(PDCoV)is the main pathogen of porcine deltacoronavirus dis-ease.After infection,pigsmanifest a series of main symptoms,such as persistent vomiting,watery diarrhea and severe dehydration.Pigs at almost all growth stages are likely to be infected with the virus,especially suckling piglets are much sensitive to the virus.Once PDCoV infects the host,it u-sually causes significant immunosuppression.In recent years,studies on the immunosuppressive mechanism of PDCoV have gradually attracted widespread attention.The results showed that mul-tiple proteins of PDCoV were involved in the regulation of host innate immunity,revealing the mechanism of these proteins in regulating host innate immunity.In this paper,the interaction mechanism between PDCoV protein and host innate immunity were rsummarized,which will pro-vide a theoretical basis for further understanding the pathogenesis of PDCoV and effective preven-tion and control of porcine delta coronavirus disease.

To establish a TaqMan-based multiplex RT-qPCR method for the identification of Japa-nese encephalitis virus(JEV),Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV),and Classical swine fever virus(CSFV),this study designed and synthesized three pairs of specific primers and probes based on the conserved sequences of JEV E,PRRSV ORF6,and CSFV E2 a-vailable in the NCBI GenBank.By optimizing the reaction system and protocol,a multiplex RT-qPCR method for detecting these three viruses was developed and applied to the detection of clini-cal samples.The results showed that the established TaqMan multiplex RT-qPCR specifically am-plified the gene fragments of JEV,PRRSV,and CSFV,and did not amplify other non-target genes,indicating good specificity of the method.Intra-assay and inter-assay repeatability tests showed that the coefficient of variation(Cv)values were all below 3％,demonstrating that the method has ex-cellent repeatability.Sensitivity tests revealed that the minimum detectable amount for the recom-binant plasmids of the three viruses was 100 copies/pL.Using the established method,a total of 969 samples,including blood,aborted fetuses,semen,and deceased pigs,from 26 pig farms in Guizhou Province were tested.The detection rates were 34.3％(332/969)for JEV,28.3％(274/969)for PRRSV,and 19.8％(192/969)for CSFV.The co-infection rates were 10.1％(98/969)for JEV and PRRSV,12.1％(117/969)for JEV and CSFV,and 14.6％(141/969)for CSFV and PRRSV.Additionally,the triple co-infection rate of JEV,PRRSV,and CSFV was 7.9％(77/969).These results indicate that the TaqMan multiplex RT-qPCR method developed in this study is ef-fective for detecting these three viruses in pig farms,providing technical support for identifying vi-ral causes of reproductive disorders.
