Objective To investigate the effect of elastic pants on coagulation function and deep vein thrombosis by examining blood coagulation function and deep vein thrombosis in patients with liposuction in the thigh before and after operation.Methods 80 patients with liposuction were randomly divided into Ankle-length elastic pants(Ankle group,A group,n=40)and Knee-length elastic pants(Knee group,K group,n=40)from October 2021 to October 2022.After liposuction surgery,the two groups of patients used elastic bandage to initially compress and bind the thigh.According to the length of the patients'thigh,the patients in A group wore appropriate ankle-length elastic pants and the patients in K group wore appropriate knee-length elastic pants.The index were recorded including the popliteal vein flow rate,the common femoral vein flow rate,the instep temperature,the incidence of deep vein thrombosis(DVT),the incidence of intramuscular vein thrombosis of leg and the coagulation indexes(APTT,PT,Fib,D-dimer).Results Compared with pre-operation,the blood flow rate of popliteal vein and common femoral vein in A group was significantly faster,while the blood flow rate of popliteal vein in K group was significantly slower(P＜0.05).There was no significant change in APTT and PT in the two groups after operation(P＞0.05),but the Fib and D-Dimer increased significantly on the first day after operation,and then decreased gradually(P＜0.05).Compared with K group,the blood flow of popliteal vein and common femoral vein in A group was significantly faster at each time point after operation(P＜0.05).The Fib and D-Dimer of patients in A group were significantly lower than those in K group on the 1st,3rd and 7th day after operation(P＜0.05),and the blood coagulation index between the two groups returned to normal around the 14th day.There was no statistically significant difference in the instep temperature between groups and within groups(P＞0.05).No deep venous thrombosis was found in A group after surgery,while there were 3 cases of deep venous thrombosis without clinical symptoms in K group on the 3rd and 7th day,with no statistical difference(P＞0.05).After surgery,patients in A group and K group had intramuscular venous thrombosis of the leg on the 1st,3rd and 7th day after surgery,and there was statistically significant difference on the 3rd and 7th day between the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion Thigh liposuction can lead to deep vein thrombosis without obvious clinical symptoms and intramuscular vein thrombosis of leg.Ankle-length elastic pants are more conducive to blood circulation of patients'legs,improve blood hypercoagulability,and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis after operation.

Background: The mitogen-activated extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (MEK1/2) inhibitor trametinib has shown promising therapeutic effects on melanoma, but its efficacy on colorectal cancer (CRC) is limited. Synthetic lethality arises with a combination of two or more separate gene mutations that causes cell death, whereas individual mutations keep cells alive. This study aimed to identify the genes responsible for resistance to trametinib in CRC cells, using a synthetic lethal short hairpin RNA (shRNA) screening approach. Methods: We infected HT29 cells with a pooled lentiviral shRNA library and applied next-generation sequencing to identify shRNAs with reduced abundance after 8-day treatment of 20 nmol/L trametinib. HCT116 and HT29 cells were used in validation studies. Stable ring finger protein 183 (RNF183)-overexpressing cell lines were generated by pcDNA4-myc/his-RNF183 transfection. Stable RNF183-knockdown cell lines were generated by infection of lentivi-ruses that express RNF183 shRNA, and small interference RNA (siRNA) was used to knock down RNF183 transiently. Quantitative real-time PCR was used to determine the mRNA expression. Western blotting, immunohistochemical analysis, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to evaluate the protein abundance. MTT assay, colony formation assay, and subcutaneous xenograft tumor growth model were used to evaluate cell proliferation. Results: In the primary screening, we found that the abundance of RNF183 shRNA was markedly reduced after treatment with trametinib. Trametinib induced the expression of RNF183, which conferred resistance to drug-induced cell growth repression and apoptotic and non-apoptotic cell deaths. Moreover, interleukin-8 (IL-8) was a downstream gene of RNF183 and was required for the function of RNF183 in facilitating cell growth. Additionally, elevated RNF183 expression partly reduced the inhibitory effect of trametinib on IL-8 expression. Finally, xenograft tumor model showed the synergism of RNF183 knockdown and trametinib in repressing the growth of CRC cells in vivo. Conclusion: The RNF183-IL-8 axis is responsible for the resistance of CRC cells to the MEK1/2 inhibitor trametinib and may serve as a candidate target for combined therapy for CRC.

Objective To investigate the curative effect between liver resection combined with microwave ablation during operation and simple liver resection in the treatment of primary liver cancer.Methods From January 2005 to December 2013,a total of 84 patients diagnosed as primary liver cancer in our hospital were collected and divided into combination group(42 cases) and simple group(42 cases) according to the surgical method.Combination group were treated by combining liver resection with microwave ablation during operation,simple group by simple liver resection.Results The intraoperative blood loss for combination group was (323.9 ± 93.1) ml and simple group was (524.5 ± 119.2) ml,P ＜ 0.05.postoperative tumor recurrence rate for combination group was 14.2％ and simple group was 33.3％,P =0.040.1-,3-,and 5-year survival rate for combination group was 96.5％,67％ and 51％,and simple group was 84％,49.5％ and 36.5％,P =0.036.The differences of the above parameters between the two groups were statistically significant.The operation time for combination group was (177.7 ± 30.7) min and simple group was (165.1 ± 29.5) min,P =0.058.The postoperative hospital stay for combination group was (15.5 ± 3.7) d and simple group was (14.0 ± 4.0) d,P =0.068.The changes of ALT,AST,ALB,TBIL on the first postoperative day and the incidence of postoperative complications (including bile leakage,fever,pleural effusion,blooding,abdominal infection and some others) between the two groups had no statistical significances (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion The curative effects of liver resection combined with microwave ablation during operation are superior to pure liver resection in the treatment of primary liver cancer.

A 79-years-old male patient took carbamazepine 100 mg thrice daily for the trigeminal neuralgia and added the dose of carbamazepine to 200 mg thrice daily by himself because the pain could not be controlled.One month later,the patient developed shortness of breath,heart palpitations,dizziness,and limbs numbness.Laboratory tests showed the following results:white blood cell (WBC) 3.0 × 109/L,red blood cell (RBC) 3.1 × 1012/L,hemoglobin (Hb) 100 g/L,serum sodium 127 mmol/L,chloride 95 mmol/L,total thyroxine 58 nmol/L,free thyroxine 10.6 pmol/L,thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) 4.5 mU/L.Dynamic electrocardiogram showed average heart rate 59 beats/min and 326 times of cardiac arrest exceeding 2.0 s.He was diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome and hypothyroidism.The patient was discharged after symptomatic treatments.About 3 months later,shortness of breath,dizziness and heart palpitations appeared again,accompanied by syncope 2 times (about 1 minute each time and relieved spontaneously).Laboratory tests showed the following results:WBC 3.1 × 109/L,RBC 3.0 × 1012/L,Hb 99 g/L,serum sodium 127 mmol/L,chloride 95 mmol/L,total thyroxine 63 nmol/L,free thyroxine 11.8 pmol/L,TSH 7.9 mU/L.Dynamic electrocardiogram showed arrhythmia,atrioventricular block,and R-R interval prolongation.Carbamazepine was stopped.Ten days later,dizziness,heart palpitations,and syncope disappeared.The laboratory revealed the following results:WBC 5.6 × 109/L,RBC 4.4 × 1012/L,Hb 120 g/L,serum sodium 139 mmol/L,chloride 102 mmol/L,total thyroxine 67 nmol/L,free thyroxine 15.0 pmol/L,TSH 3.8 mU/L.Dynamic electrocardiogram showed sinus heart rate and heart rate 75 beats/ min.Carbamazepine 100 mg thrice daily was administered again for trigeminal neuralgia.The above mentioned symptoms did not recur during a half year of follow-up.

Fetal heart sound is nonlinear and non-stationary, which contains a lot of noise when it is colleced, so the denoising method is important. We proposed a new denoising method in our study. Firstly, we chose the preprocessing of low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 200 Hz and the resampling. Secondly, we decomposed the signal based on empirical mode decomposition method (EMD) of Hilbert-Huang transform, then denoised some selected target components with wavelet soft threshold adaptive noise cancellation algorithm. Finally we got the clean fetal heart sound by combining the target components. In the EMD, we used a mask signal to eliminate the mode mixing problem, used mirroring extension method to eliminate the end effect, and referenced the stopping rule from the research of Rilling. This method eliminated the baseline drift and noise at once. To compare with wavelet transform (WT), mathematical morphology (MM) and the Fourier transform (FT), the SNR was improved obviously, and the RMSE was the minimum, which could satisfy the need of the practical application.

We proposed a research of a heart sound envelope extraction system in this paper. The system was implemented on LabVIEW based on the Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT). We firstly used the sound card to collect the heart sound, and then implemented the complete system program of signal acquisition, pretreatment and envelope extraction on LabVIEW based on the theory of HHT. Finally, we used a case to prove that the system could collect heart sound, preprocess and extract the envelope easily. The system was better to retain and show the characteristics of heart sound envelope, and its program and methods were important to other researches, such as those on the vibration and voice, etc.

The clinical manifestation,endoscopic findings and histopathological characteristics of 162 patients with gastrointestinal schistosomiasis were retrospectively analyzed.Among 162 patients,there were 29 cases of gastric schistosomiasis and 133 cases of intestinal schistosomiasis.The main clinical manifestations included stomachache,diarrhea and mucous bloody stool.Endoscopic findings:in 29 cases of gastric schistosoniasis,18 were ulcerative type,5 inflammatory type,6 proliferative type and 7 cases combined with gastric cancer.In 133 cases of intestinal schistosomiasis,17 were acute inflammatory type,81 chronic inflammatory type,33 mixture inflammatory type and 32 combined with colorectal cancer.Forty nine cases (30.25％) were misdiagnosed for various reasons; commonly misdiagnosed as ulcerative colitis,intestinal tuberculosis,chronic gastritis,and gastrointestinal tumors.There are no specific clinical manifestations or endoscopic findings of gastrointestinal schistosomiasis; epidemiological data,endoscopy combined with multi-site multi-block biopsy may improve the diagnosis.
