Objective To investigate the function and mechanism of miR-29 family in trauma induced coagulopathy(TIC).Methods Bioinformatics was used to analyze the targeting relationship between miR-29 family members and hepatocyte nuclear factor-4α(HNF-4α).HE staining results,TEG parameters and coagu-lation parameters were used to verify the TIC rat model construction.Real-time quantitative fluorescent PCR(RT-qPCR)and Western blot were used to detect the expression of miR-29 family,HNF-4α and coagulation factor Ⅹ(FⅩ)in rat liver tissues.Overexpression of miR-29b-3p(miR-29b-3p mimics)or silence of miR-29b-3p(miR-29b-3p inhibitor)was transfected into hepatocytes, and the levels of miR-29b-3p,HNF-4α and FⅩ in hepatocytes were detected by RT-qPCR and Western blot.Double lucifase reporter gene assay verified the targeted regulation of miR-29b-3p on HNF-4α.The miR-29b-3p mimics and/or HNF-4α overexpression vector were transfected into hepatocytes, and the levels of miR-29b-3p,HNF-4α and FⅩ in hepatocytes were detected by RT-qPCR and Western blot. Results Bioinformatic prediction results from the miRDIP database identified that multiple members of the miR-29 family(miR-29a-3p,miR-29b-3p,miR-29b-5p,and miR-29c-3p)contain potential binding sites with HNF-4α.Histopathological evaluation through HE staining, combined with TEG parameters and coagulation profiles, confirmed successful establishment of the TIC rat model.Quantitative analyses using RT-qPCR and Western blot revealed that compared to controls, both HNF-4α and coagulation FⅩ expression levels were markedly suppressed in the model group, while miR-29b-3p expression showed significant elevation in TIC rats(P<0.01).In vitro functional studies demonstrated that neither overexpression nor silencing of miR-29b-3p significantly influenced hepatocyte proliferation(P>0.05).How-ever,forced expression of miR-29b-3p effectively downregulated HNF-4α and its downstream target FⅩ,whereas miR-29b-3p knockdown substantially upregulated these molecules(P<0.05).This regulatory rela-tionship was further validated by dual luciferase reporter assays confirming direct targeting between HNF-4α and miR-29b-3p.Notably,exogenous HNF-4α overexpression significantly rescued FⅩ suppression induced by miR-29b-3p overexpression(P<0.05).Conclusion miR-29b-3p is up-regulated in TIC,which can promote the progression of TIC by targeting HNF-4α to regulate FⅩ expression.

Objective:To investigate the degree of satisfaction with education of undergraduates majoring in medical technology in medical universities in China and associated problems, and to put forward countermeasures and suggestions for student training. Methods:A questionnaire was distributed to undergraduates majoring in medical technology selected by stratified sampling from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tianjin Medical University, and Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences. The questionnaire covered demographic characteristics, major choice motivation, education satisfaction, and various aspects, including a total of 54 variables (21 nominal variables and 33 continuous variables). Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS 27.0 One-way analysis of variance was used for group comparison. Results:The mean degree of satisfaction with education of the students of medical technology was 4.02 points, with the highest score for curricula and teaching and the lowest score for academic atmosphere. Cultivation and management showed the strongest correlation with the degree of satisfaction with education. The degree of satisfaction with education differed significantly for different institutions and different major choice motivations ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Undergraduates of medical technology are generally satisfied with their education, and the degree of satisfaction is lower in double first-class universities than in application-oriented ordinary universities. Attention should be paid to student training and management, creating a positive academic atmosphere, and enhancing the attractiveness of colleges/universities and majors. Compared with application-oriented undergraduate colleges/universities, double first-class universities should well coordinate training goals with students' expectations, industry needs, and even national strategic needs. Colleges and universities can make appropriate adjustments in terms of curricula, teaching, and teaching resources, to promote the diverse and orderly development of medical technology talents based on their personal strengths.

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic and progressive autoimmune disease.Current clinical treatments for RA often exhibit inadequate drug responses and severe adverse effects, underscoring the necessity for alternative therapies.Baicalin,a flavonoid derived from Scutellaria baicalensis roots, possesses anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,and immunomodulatory properties.Research suggests that baicalin can inhibit the release of inflamma-tory mediators, thereby reducing inflammation. Moreover,it demonstrates antioxidant effects by decreasing reactive oxygen species production and mitigating synovial damage induced by oxidative stress.Baicalin may impede the activation of inflammatory cytokines through pathways such as NF-κB,MAPKs,and JAK-STAT signaling cascades while inducing apoptosis, regulating immune cell activity, and balancing immune mediators to impact synovitis progression.Clinically, both monotherapy with baicalin or its combination with other formulations have exhibited efficacy and safety profiles. The advancement in targeted drug delivery systems has improved its bioavailability further suggesting promising clinical applications. This review provides an overview of research progress on baicalin's mechanisms in inhibiting RA synovitis along with its clinical applications.

Total hip arthroplasty(THA)is an effective treatment for elderly femoral neck fractures,mid-to late-stage femoral head necrosis, and end-stage hip osteoarthritis. However, serious complications such as aseptic loosening of the prosthesis, peripheral fractures, and dislocation of the prosthesis still exist following THA,which makes the selection of the appropriate hip prosthesis type and placement position before THA an important challenge for surgeons.Currently, the commonly used preoperative planning methods for THA mainly rely on static images from two-dimensional(2D)X-ray or three-dimensional(3D)computed tomography(CT),which fail to adequately consider the hip joint in weight-bearing as well as motion,lumbar-hip joint changes, and prosthetic impingement during motion.Recently, the dual fluoroscopic imaging system,as a new in-vivo,dynamic radiological imaging technology, provides comprehensive and accurate dynamic 3D data for THA preoperative planning. However, the technical process and expert consensus on preoperative 3D planning of THA using a dual fluoroscopic imaging system have not yet been established, which affects the promotion and application of this technology. In light of the above, national orthopaedic experts and related professional representatives discussed and proposed seven consensus issues, and the'expert recommendation rate'and'strong recommendation rate'were obtained through a questionnaire survey on the recommendations of the participating experts. This consensus aims to provide guidance and reference for the standardised application of preoperative 3D planning of THA using the dual fluoroscopic imaging system.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2022;21(8):1112-1116
In recent years, with the continuous studies on tumor metabonomics, more and more results have shown that changes of metabolism play important roles in the occurrence and development of malignant tumor. Carcinogenic factors can destroy the metabolic balance of human body, induce metabolic reprogramming, and then mediate a variety of biological behaviors to partici-pate in the proliferation and invasion of cancer cells. Lipids provide the body with the necessary energy and essential fatty acids, and a variety of lipid molecules and metabolites are involved in cell signal transduction. Lipid metabolism is an important link in the metabolic system of the body, and the relationship between the occurrence and development of pancreatic cancer and lipid metabo-lism is not clear. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the changes of lipid metabolism in pancreatic cancer, summarize some preclinical studies and clinical trials, and deeply explain the research status of abnormal lipid metabolism associated with pancreatic cancer, so as to provide new ideas for the study of pancreatic cancer pathogenesis and accurate treatment.
