Public health emergencies pose severe challenges to the public health sector and emergency management work in hospitals.Enhancing the emergency management capabilities in general hospitals is of great significance in promoting high-quality development of hospitals, improving the government's public governance system, alleviating social panic, and other aspects. However, there are the practical dilemmas of insufficient monitoring and early warning, imperfect guarantee systems, and lack of technological innovation in emergency management in general hospitals. The emergency management capabilities in general hospitals can be improved through normalized monitoring and disposal, standing facility and material teams,information-based power systems, and standardization of technical support, further promoting the innovation and development of the emergency management system in general hospitals.

Objective To investigate the changes of serum nuclear factor κB(NF-κB),high mobility group box 1 protein(HMGB1)and heat shock protein 70(HSP70)in children with febrile seizures(FS),and to analyze their relationships with brain injury and myocardial injury. Methods Sixty FS children who were admitted to The Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from January 2020 to December 2021 were enrolled in this study. There were 37 children with simple febrile seizures(SFS)and 23 children with complex febrile seizures(CFS).In addition,30 febrile children without convulsion were selected as controls. The levels of NF-κB,MGB1,HSP70,serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)were compared among the three groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationships of NF-κB,MGB1 and HSP70 with BDNF,CK-MB and LDH.Results There were significant differences in BDNF,NF-κB,MGB1,HSP70,CK-MB and LDH among the three groups(all P<0.05).NF-κB was positively correlated with BDNF,CK-MB and LDH(all P<0.05).MGB1 was positively correlated with BDNF,CK-MB and LDH(all P<0.05).HSP70 was positively correlated with BDNF,CK-MB and LDH(all P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of NF-κB,MGB1 and HSP70 are significantly increased in children with FS,and were associated with brain nerve injury and myocardial injury.

Gene expression is suppressed by DNA methylation. The goal of this study was to identify genes whose CpG site methylation and mRNA expression are associated with recurrence after surgical resection for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Sixty-two HCCs were examined by both whole genome DNA methylation and transcriptome analysis. The Cox model was used to select genes associated with recurrence. A validation was performed in an independent cohort of 66 HCC patients. Among fifty-nine common genes, increased CpG site methylation and decreased mRNA expression were associated with recurrence for 12 genes (Group A), whereas decreased CpG site methylation and increased mRNA expression were associated with recurrence for 25 genes (Group B). The remaining 22 genes were defined as Group C. Complement factor H (CFH) and myosin VIIA and Rab interacting protein (MYRIP) in Group A; proline/serine-rich coiled-coil 1 (PSRC1), meiotic recombination 11 homolog A (MRE11A), and myosin IE (MYO1E) in Group B; and autophagy-related protein LC3 A (MAP1LC3A), and NADH dehydrogenase 1 alpha subcomplex assembly factor 1 (NDUFAF1) in Group C were validated. In conclusion, potential tumor suppressor (CFH, MYRIP) and oncogenes (PSRC1, MRE11A, MYO1E) in HCC are reported. The regulation of individual genes by methylation in hepatocarcinogenesis needs to be validated.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between intraocular pressure (IOP) and anterior chamber angle in patients with different types of acute angle-closure glaucoma after phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation. Design Retrospective case series. Participants 173 cases of acute angle-closure glaucoma coexisting cataract (173 eyes) in Mingren Eye Hospital from January, 2005 to June, 2007. Methods All patients with acute angle-closure glaucoma underwent phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation, and were examined with high-frequency ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM). Anterior chamber depth (ACD), intraocular pressure (IOP) and anterior chamber angle (ACA) were measured. Follow-up was 1-48 weeks after surgery. Main Outcome Measures Intraocular pressure, phacoemulsification complications, re-open rate of anterior chamber angle. Results At 8th week after surgery, the rate of IOP control in pupillary block group, non-pupillary blocking group, and multimechanism group was 88.9%, 52.0%, 83.4%, respectively and there was a statistically significant between these groups (?2=7.13, P=0.022). At 48th week, the rate of IOP control was 54.2%, 33.3%, 35.8%, respectively(?2=12.56, P=0.003). Fifty patients were follow up with UBM, and 66.7% in pupillary block group, 33.3% in non-pupillary blocking group and 33.3% in multimechanism group in 48 weeks postoperatively showed evidence of the widened anterior chamber angle. No specific postoperative complications were found in this study compared with those with phacoemulsification without glaucoma. Conclusions The use of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation for acute angle-closure glaucoma coexsiting cataract can get best IOP-controlled rates in pupillary block group. It is related to the degree of widened anterior chamber angle.
