In recent years， traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） has achieved significant progress in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease （IBD）. A comprehensive literature search was conducted covering the period from January 1， 2010， to December 30， 2024， across Chinese databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure （CNKI）， Wanfang Data， VIP China Science and Technology Journal Database， and the Chinese Biomedical Literature Service System， as well as international databases such as PubMed， Web of Science， and Embase. The clinical applications and mechanistic studies of TCM in IBD were systematically reviewed. The current status of TCM research on the etiology and pathogenesis of IBD， innovative clinical practices， and multimodal therapeutic approaches， including Chinese herbal formulas， single herbs or active compounds， acupuncture， herbal retention enema， and acupoint application， were summarized， together with their synergistic effects when combined with western medical treatments. The development and application of Chinese patent medicines for IBD are undergoing a profound transition from efficacy validation to mechanistic exploration. Mechanistic studies on the effects of TCM in IBD mainly focus on regulating gut microbiota homeostasis， repairing the intestinal mucosal barrier， and modulating intestinal immune balance. Furthermore， future research directions for TCM-based IBD management are proposed， including the establishment of TCM diagnostic and treatment models， expanding integrated applications of external and internal TCM therapies， innovating personalized treatment strategies， and advancing drug development. These efforts aim to provide insights for the standardized and precision-oriented development of TCM in the diagnosis and treatment of IBD.

Objective To analyze the implementation status of GBZ 130-2020 Requirements for Radiological Protection in Diagnostic Radiology in Beijing City and identify the problems in standard implementation. Methods A total of 222 professionals from 127 medical institutions, radiation health technical service institutions and health supervision institutions in Beijing City were selected as the study participants using the stratified random sampling method. Standard Implementation Evaluation Questionnaire was used to assess their evaluations on the standard technical content, implementation status and implementation effectiveness. Radiation protection inspection reports were reviewed to obtain data on external dose level outside shielding from 8 810 radiological diagnostic rooms in Beijing City. Technical risk points in standard implementation were identified through discussion with the experts and qualitatively analyzed. Results The measurement score for standard implementation was 95.1. The scores for the first-level indicators of standard technical content, standard implementation status, standard implementation effectiveness were 39.0, 26.2 and 29.9, respectively. Among the second-level indicators, standard publicity and training scored the lowest at 7.6. A total of 17 major problems related to standard implementation were identified, including inconsistent dose limits around imaging rooms versus environmental protection limits, absence of protection requirements for new equipment such as vehicle-mounted compated tomograph (CT) and CT shelter, and poor compliance with dental protective devices. The overall pass rate for external dose level outside shielding among radiological diagnostic rooms in Beijing City was 99.6%. Among the 40 non-compliant rooms, structural defects such as improper door/window overlaps accounted for 52.5%. Conclusion The implementation of GBZ 130-2020 Requirements for Radiological Protection in Diagnostic Radiology in Beijing City is generally good, with improved standardization level of radiation protection. However, there remain rooms for optimization in indicator coordination and standard publicity and training.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of the flipped classroom combined with 3D body anatomy software in the teaching of ultrasound-guided transversus thoracic muscle plane block.Methods:In this randomized controlled trial, 100 second-year resident physicians from the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at our hospital, male or female, aged 22-26 yr, who rotated during January 2023 to January 2025, were selected and divided into 2 groups ( n=50 each) using a table of random numbers: experimental group and control group. Experimental group employed the teaching model of flipped classroom combined with 3D body anatomy software, while control group used the traditional teaching model. The scores of theoretical assessment, accuracy rate of ultrasound image identification, scores of procedural skills, success rates of clinical procedure, teaching satisfaction, and success rates of clinical translation after 1 month follow-up were compared between two groups. Results:Compared with control group, the scores of theoretical assessment, accuracy rate of ultrasound image identification, scores of procedural skills, success rates of clinical procedure, teaching satisfaction, and success rates of clinical translation after 1 month follow-up were significantly increased in experimental group ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The combination of flipped classroom and 3D body anatomy software is more effective than the traditional teaching methods when used for teaching of ultrasound-guided transversus thoracic muscle plane block.

Objective To compare the efficacies of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT)in the treatment of post-chronic aplastic anemia(CAA)myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS)and primary MDS.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 32 patients who received allo-HSCT treatment in Department of Hematology,North China University of Science and Technology Affiliated Hospital between Feb.2012 and Feb.2022,including 12 patients with post-CAA MDS and 20 patients with primary MDS.The overall survival rate,cumulative incidence of relapse(CIR)rate,non-relapse mortality(NRM)rate,and event-free survival rate were compared between the 2 groups.Results The median follow-up time for CAA to progress to MDS was 120(72-180)months.All the patients were followed up for 36(3-79)months after allo-HSCT.The 3-year overall survival rate of the post-CAA MDS group was significantly higher than that of the primary MDS group(83.8%vs 45.0%,P=0.035).The 3-year CIR of the post-CAA MDS group was significantly lower than that of the primary MDS group(16.7%vs 55.0%,P=0.021).There was no significant difference in the event-free survival rates or NRM rates between the 2 groups(both P＞0.05).Conclusion The post-CAA MDS patients have better survival after allo-HSCT than the primary MDS patients.Early allo-HSCT treatment may improve the prognosis.

Objective To investigate the effect of vitamin B12(VB12)on the expression of zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)in house dust mite(HDM)-treated human airway epithelial cell line(Beas-2b)and its underlying mechanism.Methods Beas-2b cells were cultured in DMEM high-glucose medium containing 10%fetal bovine serum.The cells were divided into four groups:control,VB12,HDM,and VB12+HDM.Beas-2b cells were trans-fected with lentiviruses carrying NC-siRNA,ATG5-siRNA,BECN1-siRNA,and mCherry-EGFP-LC3.After 12 hours of transfection(MOI=20),the medium was replaced with fresh medium,and stable transfected cell lines were selected using puromycin(1 μg/mL).Cells were stimulated with VB12(20 μg/mL)and HDM(50 μg/mL)for 24 hours.The protein levels of ZO-1,autophagy-related protein 5(ATG5),BECN1 and microtubule-associated protein light chain 3(LC3)were detected by immunofluorescence and Western blot.Autophagy in human airway epithelial cells was observed using confocal microscopy.Results Compared with the control group,the expression of ZO-1 in the HDM group was lower(P<0.05),while the expressions of ATG5,BECN1,and LC3 were higher(P<0.05).Compared with the HDM group,the VB12+HDM group showed increased ZO-1 expression(P<0.05),decreased expressions of ATG5,BECN1,and LC3(P<0.01),and reduced autophagosome formation(P<0.05).In ATG5-and BECN1-knockdown cell lines,ZO-1 expression increased after HDM treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Vb12 can enhance ZO-1 expression in HDM-treated human airway epithelial cells by down-regulating autophagy,and its mechanism is associated with the ATG5 and BECN1 signaling pathways.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of autophagy induced by House dust mites(HDM)on airway epithelial tight junction through β-catenin-Snail signaling pathway.Methods Human bronchial epithelial cells(16HBE)were stimulated with HDM at different time points(0,3,6,12,24,48 h)and different concen-trations(0,40,100,200 μg/mL)to screen the appropriate stimulation concentration and stimulation time.16HBE cells were treated with oxidative stress inhibitor N-acetylcysteine(NAC),autophagy inhibitor 3-methylad-enine(3-MA),HDM,and their combinations.Cells were transfected with mCherry-EGFP-LC3B,Beclin-1-siRNA,and ATG14-siRNA lentivirus and then stimulated with NAC and HDM.Immunofluorescence was used to detect the expression levels of autophagy-related protein LC3B,tight junction-related proteins Occludin,and ZO-1 in airway epithelial cells.The level of reactive oxygen species(ROS)was detected by using DCFH-DA in each group.The protein expression levels of Occludin,ZO-1,LC3B,Beclin-1,ATG5,ATG14,P62,Snail,β-catenin and p-β-catenin were detected by Western blot method.Results Immunofluorescence results showed that compared with the control group,200 μg/mL HDM stimulation induced cellular autophagy,increased the expression level of LC3B protein,and promoted the level of ROS,all with statistical significances(all P<0.05).Compared with the HDM group,the HDM+3-MA,HDM+ATG14-si,and HDM+Beclin-1-si groupsall showed significantincreases in the expression levels of tight junction-related proteins Occludin and ZO-1(P<0.05).The HDM+NAC group demonstrated significant decreases both in the level of ROS andin the expression level of LC3B protein.Western blot results revealed that compared with HDM,3-MA and autophagy protein low-expression beads(Beclin-1-si,ATG14-si)attenuated HDM-induced cellular autophagy(P<0.05),inhibited HDM-induced upregulation of Snail and p-β-catenin expression,and improved HDM-induced decreases in Occludin and ZO-1(P<0.05).Moreover,compared with the HDM group,the NAC+HDM group exhibited significant decreases both in the conversion of LC3BⅠ to LC3BⅡ(P<0.001)in the protein levels of Snail,p-β-catenin,Beclin-1 and ATG14(P<0.01),but significant increases in the protein levels of Occludin and ZO-1(P<0.05).Conclusion HDM affects the tight connections between airway epithelial cells by inducing autophagy,which may be attributed to the β-catenin-Snail signaling pathway.

Objective:To understand the awareness of influenza and influenza vaccine, influenza incidence, influenza vaccination status and intention and related factors in primary and secondary school teachers.Methods:Cross-sectional study design and stratified random sampling method were used to select 5 teachers from each of 51 primary schools and 40 middle schools in a district of Beijing from April 17 to 21, 2024. A questionnaire survey was conducted in the selected teachers with an estimated sample size of 1 040. The survey collected the information about their demographic characteristics, awareness of influenza and influenza vaccine, influenza incidence, influenza vaccination status and intention. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the factors related to influenza vaccination status and intention.Results:In the 975 primary and secondary school teachers, the awareness of susceptibility and severity of influenza and the benefits of influenza vaccination were high. In terms of safety of influenza vaccine, 48.00% (468/975) of the teachers believed that adverse reaction would occur after the vaccination. Influenza like illness occurred in 41.13% (401/975) of the teachers during 2023-2024, and in these teachers, 40.15% (161/401) asked for leave from work due to illness, 40.90% (164/401) sought medical care and 32.93% (54/164) were influenza virus positive. In the 975 teachers, 13.95% (136/975) were vaccinated against influenza during 2023-2024 and 34.46% (336/975) were willing to be vaccinated against influenza during 2024-2025. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that being teacher in charge of a class (a OR=1.58, 95% CI: 1.06-2.35), believing that influenza vaccination could effectively prevent influenza (a OR=1.99, 95% CI: 1.05-3.80), believing that teachers' vaccination could improve students' willingness to be vaccinated (a OR=1.98, 95% CI: 1.12-3.50) were the positive factors for teachers' vaccination, and worrying about adverse reactions after the vaccination (a OR=0.52, 95% CI: 0.34-0.80) was the negative factor. Doctors' recommendation (a OR=2.62, 95% CI: 1.41-4.86) and free influenza vaccination (a OR=10.26, 95% CI: 5.17-20.39) were positively correlated with teachers' intention to influenza vaccination. Conclusions:Primary and secondary school teachers in a district of Beijing had high awareness of influenza and influenza vaccine, but their awareness of influenza vaccine safety should be improved. The incidence of influenza-related infection was high in the primary and secondary school teachers. The influenza vaccination rate was low and the willingness to receive influenza vaccination in following year was not strong. For the better prevention and control of influenza in schools, it is necessary to strengthen the health education in primary and secondary school teachers to improve their awareness of influenza vaccine safety and vaccination rate.

Objective:To investigate the effect and underlaying mechanism of aerobic exercise on aging-induced hepatic fi-brosis.Method:Thirty-two SPF grade C57BL/6J male mice were used,including 16 mice aged 2 months(young group)and 16 mice aged 19 months(senescent group).Both the aging group and the young group underwent one week of acclimatization.The animals were randomly divided into four groups:young control group(Y group),young exercise group(YE group),aging control group(A group)and aging exercise group(AE group),with 8 animals in each group.The experiment carried out exercise intervention in the way of running on the treadmill.All the exercise mice in each group received adaptive exercise with increasing load for one week,and then received formal aerobic exercise intervention for 12 weeks according to the protocol.HE,Mas-son and Sirius scarlet staining were used to observe the pathological morphology of liver tissue.The levels of Collagen Ⅰ and α-SMA in liver were observed by immunohistochemical staining.The mRNA expressions of miR-21,Collagen Ⅰ,α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)and SMAD7 in liver tissues were detected by q-PCR.Western Blot assay was used to detect the protein expressions of Collagen Ⅰ,α-SMA,CTGF,TGF-β1,TGF-β receptor Ⅱ(TβR-Ⅱ),Smad7 and P-Smad2/3 in liver tissues.Result:Compared with Y group,hepatocyte degeneration and fiber deposition were observed in group A.The mRNA and protein levels of Collagen Ⅰ,α-SMA,CTGF,TGF-β1,TβR-Ⅱ,P-SMAD2/3 and miR-21 in liver tissues were significantly increased(P<0.05),while the level of Smad7 was significantly decreased(P<0.05).After exercise intervention,liver tissue degeneration and fiber deposition were alleviated in the AE group,and the expressions of Collagen Ⅰ,α-SMA,CTGF,TGF-β1,TβR-Ⅱ,P-Smad2/3 and miR-21 in liver tissue were significantly decreased(P<0.05),the level of Smad7 was significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Aerobic exercise can effectively improve age-induced hepatic fibrosis.The underlying mechanism may be related to inhibiting the overexpression of TGF-β1,reducing the expression of TGF-β1/Smad signaling pathway related molecules,inhibiting miR-21,improving the activity of Smad7,and reducing the deposition of liver cell fibers.
