ObjectiveNon-invasive magnetic stimulation technology has been widely used in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), but there is a lack of convenient and timely methods for evaluating and providing feedback on the effectiveness of the stimulation, which can be used to guide the adjustment of the stimulation protocol. This study aims to explore the possibility of heart rate variability (HRV) in diagnosing AD and guiding AD magnetic stimulation intervention techniques. MethodsIn this study, we used a 40 Hz, 10 mT pulsed magnetic field to expose AD mouse models to whole-body exposure for 18 d, and detected the behavioral and electroencephalographic signals before and after exposure, as well as the instant electrocardiographic signals after exposure every day. ResultsUsing one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient analysis, we found that some HRV indicators could identify AD mouse models as accurately as behavioral and electroencephalogram(EEG) changes (P<0.05) and significantly distinguish the severity of the disease (P<0.05), including rMSSD, pNN6, LF/HF, SD1/SD2, and entropy arrangement. These HRV indicators showed good correlation and statistical significance with behavioral and EEG changes (r>0.3, P<0.05); HRV indicators were significantly modulated by the magnetic field exposure before and after the exposure, both of which were observed in the continuous changes of electrocardiogram (ECG) (P<0.05), and the trend of the stimulation effect was more accurately observed in the continuous changes of ECG. ConclusionHRV can accurately reflect the pathophysiological changes and disease degree, quickly evaluate the effect of magnetic stimulation, and has the potential to guide the pattern of magnetic exposure, providing a new idea for the study of personalized electromagnetic neuroregulation technology for brain diseases.

Objective:To investigate the application effect of aleximumab combined with ivabradine in patients with STEMI after PCI.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 90 STEMI patients admitted to Jiamusi Central Hospital for PCI treatment from October 2023 to October 2024.The patients were divided into two groups based on whether they were treated with aleximumab in the early stages of admission. The 45 patients treated with aleximumab combined with ivabradine were assigned to the experimental group, and the 45 patients treated with ivabradine were assigned to the matched group.Compare two groups of blood lipid metabolism indicators[Low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triglycerides,total cholesterol],inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(Hs CRP)],ventricular remodeling[Left ventricular mass index(LVMI),end diastolic interventricular thickness(LVST)],and carotid plaques[plaque score, plaque area, carotid intima-media thickness(CarST)].otid intima-media thickness(IMT)was observed, and patients were followed up by telephone and outpatient follow-up for 6 months to record the incidence of cardiovascular adverse events(MACE).Results:Post-treatment,the level of lipid metabolism in both groups was lower than that pretherapy, and the level of lipid metabolism in the test group was lower than that in the matched group(P<0.05);Post-treatment,the levels of inflammatory factors in both groups were lower than that pretherapy, and the test group was lower than that in the matched group(P<0.05);Post-treatment,t-test showed that LVMI LVST,The plaque score, plaque area, and TMT level were all lower than pretherapy, and the experimental group was lower than the matched group(P<0.05);All patients were followed up for 6 months after surgery.Through follow-up,it was found that the total incidence of MACE in the experimental group was 8.89%,while that in the matched group was 26.67%.According to the chi square test, the total incidence of MACE in the experimental group was lower than that in the matched group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of aleximumab and ivabradine treatment after PCI in STEMI patients can further improve the patient's lipid metabolism, reduce the body's inflammatory response, reverse some carotid plaques, improve ventricular remodeling, and thus further reduce the risk of long-term cardiovascular adverse events in patients.

AIM To study the protective effect of Gynura divaricate polysaccharide on gouty nephropathy(GN)induced by dry yeast combined with adenine in rats.METHODS Sixty male SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group, the model group, the allopurinol group(42 mg/kg),and the low-dose,medium-dose and high-dose G.divaricate polysaccharide groups(140,280,560 mg/kg).All the rats except those of the normal group were induced into GN models by intragastrical dosing of yeast(5 g/kg)and adenine(100 mg/kg)and intervened with corresponding drug administration simultaneously. After 35 days, the rats had their levels of creatinine(Cr)and uric acid(UA)in serum and urine detected and their fraction excretion of uric acid(FEUA)value determined;their kidney mass and volume measured and their levels of kidney index and density calculated;their renal pathological changes checked by HE staining;their renal GLUT9,URAT1,ABCG2 and OAT1 mRNA expressions dectected by RT-qPCR;and their renal GLUT9,URAT1,ABCG2 and OAT1 protein expressions dectected by Western blot.RESULTS Compared with the model group, each dose of G.divaricate polysaccharide group displayed decreased levels of kidney mass, kidney volume and kidney index(P<0.01);increased levels of kidney density(P<0.05,P<0.01);decreased serum levels of UA and Cr(P<0.01);increased urine levels of UA and Cr(P<0.01);increased FEUA value(P<0.01);decreased GLUT9,URAT1 mRNA and protein expressions(P<0.05,P<0.01);and increased ABCG2,OAT1 mRNA and protein expressions(P<0.05,P<0.01);and more alleviated renal histological aberrations.CONCLUSION G.divaricate polysaccharide exerts good protective effects against yeast/adenine-induced GN in rats probably through down-regulating protein expression of GLUT9,URAT1 and up-regulating ABCG2 and OAT1.
