Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury （MIRI） is a common cardiac pathological process， resulting from the combined effects of multiple mechanisms involving metabolic changes and mitochondrial dysfunction. Mitochondrial quality control （MQC）， as a key regulatory mechanism， may serve as an important target for the prevention and treatment of MIRI. In recent years， traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） has demonstrated unique advantages in the field of improving MIRI， with multiple targets， multiple pathways， and low toxic and side effects. It has gained widespread clinical recognition and application. Through systematically organizing and summarizing recent studies on the targeting of MQC by monomers， active fractions， herb pairs， compound formulas and related preparations of TCM to improve MIRI， this paper finds that monomers and active fractions of TCM （such as schisandrin B， isoliquiritigenin， calenduloside E， berberine， Lycium barbarum polysaccharides and so on） as well as TCM herb pairs， compound formulas， and related preparations （couplet medicinals of Fuzi-Ganjiang， Yixin formula， Shuangshen ningxin capsule， Baijin formula， Yiqi huoxue decoction and so on）， can alleviate MIRI by activating MQC to reduce oxidative stress-induced damage， promote mitochondrial biogenesis， maintain mitochondrial fission/fusion homeostasis， regulate mitochondrial autophagy， and restore mitochondrial calcium homeostasis.

Objective To investigate the level of self-efficacy in peritoneal dialysis patients,and to ana-lyze its influencing factors.Methods The convenience sampling method was adopted.A total of 232 patients with peritoneal dialysis in the First Medical Center of PLA General Hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects to conduct the status quo survey of chronic disease self-efficacy scale,social support scale,medical coping style questionnaire and patient positivity scale,and the results were analyzed.Re-sults The self-efficacy score of the patients with peritoneal dialysis(6.67±2.14)points,education level,fam-ily monthly income,working status,submission,social support,objective support,subjective support and pa-tient positivity were the main factors affecting the level of self-efficacy(P<0.05),explaining 64.4%of the variation amount.Self-efficacy was positively correlated with social support,facing and patient positivity(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with avoidance and submission(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-efficacy of peritoneal dialysis patients is generally at a low to medium level.Medical staff should pay more attention to it and improve it.

ObjectiveTo conduct a bibliometric analysis on the research status of occupational pneumoconiosis (hereinafter referred to as "pneumoconiosis") severity assessment indicators. Methods The domestic and foreign articles on the research of pneumoconiosis severity assessment indicators were accessed from China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, VIP Database, China Biomedical Literature Service System, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science. The methodological quality evaluation and analysis of severity assessment indicators were performed with the relevant articles. Results A total of 88 relevant articles on pneumoconiosis severity assessment indicators were included. The overall evaluation of the literature with good-, moderate-, and poor-quality articles accounted for 18.18%, 69.32%, and 12.50%, respectively. The median sample size reported in each article was 86 cases. The articles reporting the stage of pneumoconiosis accounted for 81.82%, and 80.68% reported the types of pneumoconiosis which was mainly simple silicosis and coal worker's pneumoconiosis. Only 12 articles reported two or more types of pneumoconiosis. A total of 122 severity assessment indicators in four categories were reported in 88 articles, including 99 physiological and biochemical indicators, 10 imaging indicators, six symptoms and signs indicators, and seven other indicators. The articles used a single severity assessment indicator to assess the severity of pneumoconiosis accounted for 76.14%, while 23.86% of the articles used multiple severity assessment indicators, and only 5.68% of the articles selected specific severity assessment indicators for pneumoconiosis patients in different stages. Conclusion The quality of research on pneumoconiosis severity assessment is relatively low. The applicability of the combined use of severity assessment indicators is poor and confused.

ObjectiveTo establish a qualitative analysis method for the chemical constituents of the reference sample of Xiao Xumingtang， and to establish the fingerprint of 15 batches of Xiao Xumingtang， so as to evaluate the quality consistency among batches. MethodAccording to the key information of Xiao Xumingtang in the Key Information Table of Ancient Famous Classical Formulas（25 Formulas）， the reference sample of this formula was prepared， and it was detected by ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry（UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS）. The chemical components were identified by self-constructed database， consulting relevant literature， and comparing with the reference substances， and the components were assigned by comparing with single drug samples and negative samples lacking single drug. The fingerprint of the reference sample of Xiao Xumingtang was established using high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC）， and the common peaks were assigned and identified through single drug samples and negative samples lacking single drug. ResultBased on the information of MS fragments， relevant literature， and database retrieval， a total of 64 compounds were identified and inferred from the reference sample of Xiao Xumingtang， including 31 flavonoids， 8 terpenoids， 12 triterpenoid saponins， 2 phthalides， 3 phenylpropanoids， 2 gingerols， 5 alkaloids， and 1 cyanoside. Among them， 21 were derived from Scutellariae Radix， 10 from stir-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， 9 from Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma， 8 from Paeoniae Radix Alba， 4 from Saposhnikoviae Radix， 3 from Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix， 3 from Chuanxiong Rhizoma， 2 from Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata， 2 from Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens， 1 from Ephedrae Herba， and 1 from Armeniacae Semen Amarum. The established HPLC fingerprint of the reference sample of Xiao Xumingtang had 23 common peaks， among which， peaks 1 and 2 were derived from Paeoniae Radix Alba， peaks 3 and 7 from Saposhnikoviae Radix， peaks 4， 8 and 9 from Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix， peaks 10， 17， 18， 20 and 21 from stir-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， peaks 11-16， 19 and 22 from Scutellariae Radix， peak 5 from Chuanxiong Rhizoma， peak 23 from Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens， peak 6 was the common component of stir-fried Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma and Scutellariae Radix. A total of 10 compounds including albiflorin（peak 1）， paeoniflorin（peak 2）， cimicifugoside（peak 3）， 5-O-methylvisammioside（peak 7）， baicalin（peak 11）， sec-O-glucosylhamaudol（peak 13）， oroxylin A-7-O-β-D-glucuronide（peak 15）， wogonoside（peak 16）， glycyrrhizic acid（peak 21） and 6-gingerol（peak 23） were identified. The similarities of 15 batches of reference samples were>0.999， indicating that the reference samples had good consistency. ConclusionThrough the identification of the chemical constituents in the reference sample of Xiao Xumingtang， it is clear that the composition of the samples is mainly composed of flavonoids and triterpenoid saponins. The established fingerprint can basically reflect the overall chemical characteristics of the reference sample of Xiao Xumingtang， which can provide a basis for the quality research of its compound preparations.

C-C motif chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2) and its receptor CCR2 are closely related to tumorigenesis and tumor progression. The CCL2/CCR2 signaling axis promotes tumor progression through multiple mechanisms: CCL2 binds to CCR2 on the surface of tumor cells, and thus promotes tumor growth/survival and metastasis; more importantly, CCL2 recruits a variety of immunosuppressive cells to aggregate in the tumor microenvironment, and inhibits the function and activity of immune cells, promoting tumor progression. The article reviews the CCL2/CCR2 signaling axis and its role in tumors and tumor microenvironment, with particular focus on the advances in clinical research on drugs targeting CCL2/CCR2 signaling axis, in order to gain an in-depth and overall understanding of the mechanism of action of CCL2/CCR2 axis in tumor progression and develop more effective anti-tumor immunotherapeutic agents.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a smart non-invasive blood glucose monitor prototype during pregnancy through clinical validation.The monitor utilizes near-infrared spectroscopy combined with AI big data analysis of photoelectric volumetric pulse wave data to achieve non-invasive monitoring of blood glucose in women during pregnancy.The research team developed a monitor that employs a sensing chip,effectively overcoming the problems of weak signals and individual differences in non-invasive blood glucose monitoring.The user experience is enhanced by visualizing the test results on the accompanying cell phone APP(application)of the smart non-invasive pregnancy blood glucose monitor.Clinical validation revealed that the non-invasive monitoring data for pregnant women aged 20～30 years significantly differed from those obtained via traditional blood glucose measurement methods,whereas no significant difference(P<0.05)was observed for pregnant women aged 31～42 years.The study concluded that further calibration of the monitor and an expansion of the sample size are necessary to enhance consistency with invasive glucose monitoring results.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of first-line anti-tuberculosis (TB) drugs combined with linezolid in treatment of children with tuberculous meningitis (TBM).Methods:A retrospective cohort study design was performed . Eight-nine Children diagnosed as TBM during January 1 st 2016 and December 31 st 2023 in Department of Infectious Disease, Children′s Hospital of Chongqing Medical University were enrolled in the study. According to different treatment regimens, children were divided into a group of first-line anti-tuberculous drugs (isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, ethambutol (HRZE)) and a group of HRZE and linezolid combination (HRZEL). The efficacy and safety of the 2 regimens were compared and the relationship between linezolid drug concentration and adverse reactions were analyzed. Comparisons between groups were performed using χ2 test and Mann-Whitney U test. Results:The 89 children with TBM included 53 males and 36 females with an onset age of 4.6 (1.4, 9.6) years. There were 27 cases in the HZREL group and 62 cases in the HRZE group. Before treatment, positive rate of interferon-gamma release assays (IGRA) in HRZEL group was lower than that in HRZE group (64% (16/25) vs.92% (55/60), χ2=9.82, P<0.05), but protein level of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was higher than that in HRZE group (1.2 (1.0, 2.0) vs.0.8 (0.4,1.4) g/L, Z=0.32, P<0.05). By the end of the intensive phase, there were no significant differences of rates of CSF improvement and etiology negativity between HRZEL group and HRZE group (both P>0.05).The 44 TBM children with high CSF protein (>1 g/L) included 25 males and 19 females with an onset age of 6.7 (3.0, 11.8) years. There were 21 cases in the HZREL group and 23 cases in the HRZE group accordingly. Before treatment, there were no significant differences of positive rate of IGRA test and CSF protein level between the 2 groups (62% (13/21) vs. 87% (20/23), 1.7 (1.1, 2.2) vs. 1.5 (1.2, 1.9) g/L, χ2=3.67, Z=0.23, both P>0.05). There were no significant differences in CSF indicators, etiology negativity or imaging remission between the two groups by the end of intensive phase (all P>0.05). Higher frequencies of granulocytopenia, gastrointestinal symptoms as well as withdrawal or change of drugs were found in HRZEL group when compared to those in HRZE group (44% (12/27) vs. 19% (12/62), 7% (2/27) vs. 0, 33% (9/27) vs. 3% (2/62), χ2=6.01, 4.70, 15.74, all P<0.05). Conclusions:The efficacy of HRZEL regimen is similar to conventional HRZE regimen in children with TBM, but with higher adverse effect. Prudentially evaluating the pros and cons of linezolid in the usage of drug-susceptible TB and carefully monitoring of linezolid associated adverse effects is suggested.

Background::Sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy is gradually accepted as the standard of care in breast cancer patients with down-staged axillary disease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). However, it is still difficult to precisely define pre-NAC clinical node-positive (cN1) and post-NAC clinical node-negative (ycN0). This prospective single-center trial was designed to evaluate the feasibility and accuracy of standard targeted axillary dissection (TAD) after NAC in highly selective pre-NAC cN1 patients (not considering ultrasound-based axillary ycN staging).Methods::This prospective trial included patients with initial pre-NAC cT1–3N1M0 invasive breast cancer but with a rigorous definition of cN1 from the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Zhengzhou University. When NAC was effective (including complete and partial responses) and preoperative axillary palpation was negative, preoperative ultrasound-based axillary staging was not considered, and all patients underwent TAD followed by axillary lymph node (LN) dissection. The detection rate (DR) and false-negative rate (FNR) of TAD were calculated.Results::A total of 82 patients were included, and 77 of them were eligible for data analysis. The DR for TAD was 94.8% (73/77). There were 26 patients with one abnormal LN at the time of diagnosis based on ultrasound, 45 patients with two, and 2 patients with three. One patient had one TAD LN, four patients had two TAD LNs, and 68 patients had three or more TAD LNs. Preoperative axillary palpation yielded negative results for all 73 patients who successfully underwent TAD. Preoperative ultrasound-based ycN0 and ycN+ conditions were detected for 52 and 21 cases, respectively. The FNR was 7.4% (2/27) for standard TAD (≥3 SLNs), which was lower than that of all successful TAD (≥1 SLN; 10.0%, 3/30).Conclusions::In rigorously defined pre-NAC cN1 breast cancer patients, standard TAD is feasible for those with negative axillary palpation after NAC, and FNR is also less than 10%.Registration::chictr.org.cn, ChiCTR2100049093
