Objective:The current situation of economic talents in public Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)hospitals provides a basis for strengthening the construction of economic talents in TCM hospitals and improving the economic management level of public TCM hospitals. Methods:According to the relevant data of chief accountants and accountants of public TCM hospitals in the annual health financial report from 2016 to 2022,the number of other economic management personnel is estimated.Based on descriptive vertical statistic comparison, the changes of economic management personnel in various types of public TCM in China from 2016 to 2022 were compared horizontally, and the differences in the allocation of economic management personnel in various types of public TCM hospitals among different regional levels were compared. Results:From 2016 to 2022,the proportion of chief accountants in public TCM hospitals in China increased from 10.1%to 22.8%.Public TCM hospitals increased the most accountants in public TCM hospitals are mainly charging personnel. Most accountants are undergraduate students in the east and junior colleges in the middle and west, and the proportion of those without accounting titles.By 2022,the total number of economic management personnel in public TCM hospitals was be 54 000,accounting for 4.6%of the on-the-job employees, but the total number increased but the proportion decreased. Conclusion:Although the allocation of chief accountant in public TCM hospitals has been improved, the chief accountant system still needs to be further implemented;regional differences of accountants are large and high-quality talents are lacking;the shortage of economic management personnel has not yet formed a characteristic team.It is suggested that public TCM hospitals need to promote the integration of business and finance, strengthen training, introduce talents, train high-end compound talents and improve the efficiency of economic management.

AIM: To observe the changes of nerve fiber thickness and vessel density in macula and optic disc following femtosecond laser-assisted and conventional phacoemulsification cataract surgery through optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA).METHODS: A total of 65 cases(85 eyes)that diagnosed with age-related cataract and received surgery in Aier Eye Hospital(East of Chengdu)were included in this prospective nonrandomized controlled study. The patients were divided into two groups according to the surgery choice, with 23 cases(30 eyes)in femtosecond laser assisted group, and 42 cases(55 eyes)in traditional phacoemulsification group. OCTA was used to compare the changes in central macular thickness, thickness of nerve fiber layer in optic disc, vessel density and blood perfusion preoperatively, and at 1 d and 1 mo postoperatively.RESULTS: BCVA of patients in the two groups was significantly improved and IOP was significantly reduced at 1 mo postoperatively(all P<0.01). The macular nerve fiber layer thickness of the femtosecond laser-assisted group was increased at 1 d and 1 mo postoperatively(all P<0.05), while there was no statistical difference in the traditional phacoemulsification group before and after surgery(all P>0.05); there were significant differences in nerve fiber layer thickness in optic disc, vessel density and blood perfusion in both macula and optic disc of the traditional phacoemulsification group(all P<0.05), but there were no differences in the femtosecond laser assisted group(all P>0.05). Furthermore, there were no significant differences in foveal avascular zone area in the two groups of patients(all P>0.05).CONCLUSION: Femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery had less impact on retinal vessels.

Currently,China is confronted with the situation of high quality papers and low impact journals.Quality and quantity of English science, technology and medical(STM) journals in our country can not meet the publishing demand of scientific research papers, which becomes the inner boost of developing English STM journals.Along with the implementation of Project for Enhancing International Impact of China STM Journals,a growing number of STM journals launched international cooperation in journal publishing. This paper introduced Genes & Diseases' strategy of launching and managing English journals in cooperation with foreign publisher.Genes & Diseases strictly follows international publishing practice. The editorial office of Genes & Diseases fully aroused the enthusiasm of editors, editorial board members and the editor-in-chief to solicit manuscripts.Meanwhile, the office of Genes & Diseases took advantages of website, social media,Emails, meeting and academic activity, etc to promote the journals. All these experiences can be used as references for those intended or already started to lunch English STM journal.

Objective To evaluate the changes of left ventricular(LV) 3-dimension peak displacement (3D-D) during different cardiac pacing patterns. To provide a reliable mechanical data base for the optimization cardiac pacing. Methods Cardiac pacings in open-chest Beagle canine models( n = 10) were performed using three patterns[I, e. , right ventricular apical pacing (RVA-P), LV lateral pacing (LVL-P)and LV apical pacing(LVA-P)],3D full volumetric real-time imaging were acquired in a completed cardiac cycle. The 3D-D,3D-D peak time (3D-DTc) and the standard deviation of TC(3D-DTSD) were calculated and analyzed in different pacing patterns for difference and spatial correlationship. Results ① The 3D-D of LVL-P and LVA-P state decreased compared with BASE and RVA-P state, there were significant 3D-D difference of mid anterior, mid anteriorspetal, mid interior, mid posterior, mid lateral between LVL-P and BASE, RVA-P patterns( P <0.05). There were significant 3D-D difference of mid anterior, mid lateral, mid posterior between LVA-P and RVA-P patterns groups( P <0.05). There were significant 3D-D difference of all segments in apical level between LVL-P,LVA-P and BASE, RVA-P states( P <0.05). ② Corrected by the heart rate, the 3D-DTC of different cardiac pacing patterns were shorter than BASE state. ③ There were no significant 3D-DTSD difference between different cardiac pacings and BASE patterns. There were significant 3D-DTSD difference between RVA-P and LVA-P patterns (P < 0.05). Conclusions LV mechanical activation and synchronization could be maintained during RVA-P rather than LVA-P and LVL-P. Echocardiographic study of left ventricular 3D-D can actually reveal myocardial mechanical state during different cardiac pacings and BASE patterns.
