Objective To identify the core constitutions and prodromal symptoms of relapse in schizophrenia patients using network analysis,and to analyze their relationships as well as gender differences.Methods Schizophrenia patients hospitalized in the psychiatry department of Hunan Brain Hospital in Hunan Province between October 2022 and December 2023 were selected as survey participants.A general information questionnaire,a Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Scale,and a Schizophrenia Prodromal Symptoms of Relapse Scale were used for investigation.Network anal-ysis was conducted using R language.Results The core constitutions of schizophrenia patients were qi deficiency constitution[Expected Influence(EI)=1.08]and dampness-heat constitution(EI=1.00),and the core prodromal symptoms of relapse were depression/withdrawal(EI=0.84)and ini-tial psychotic manifestations(EI=0.81).There were statistically significant differences in constitutions of traditional Chinese medicine and prodromal symptoms of relapse between patients of different genders(P＜0.05).Females mainly exhibited qi deficiency constitution(EI=1.20)with anxiety as the core prodromal symptom(EI=0.98),while males mainly exhibited yin deficiency constitution(EI=1.05)with depression/withdrawal as the core prodromal symptom(EI=1.00).Conclusion Healthcare professionals can early identify core prodromal symptoms of relapse by core imbalanced constitutions of schizophrenia patients,and develop precise intervention strategies,thereby promoting changes in their network structure,preventing disease relapse,and improving patients'quality of life.

Objective To evaluate the added value of ciprofol and to provide the reference for clinical selection of ciprofol and propofol in patient individualized anesthesia and sedation program.Methods The relative safety,relative effectiveness,innovation/suitability,and economy of propofol and ciprofol were compared and scored according to the Guidelines for Drug Added Value Evaluation based on Health Technology Evaluation.Results Compared with the value of propofol,the total value of ciprofol was 57 points,which was reflected as a small increase.The sedation effect of the two drugs was similar,but propofol had more economic cost advantages,and ciprofol was better than propofol in injection pain,hypotension,and other adverse reactions.Conclusion Propofol and ciprofol should be used reasonably in anesthesia and sedation,considering the health status and economic condition of patients.

Objective To explore the effect of hypertonic saline combined with magnesium sulfate on severe craniocerebral injury.Methods Patients with severe craniocerebral injury admitted to our hospital from September 2017 to February 2019 were selected prospectively.With the informed consent of the patients' families,the patients were divided into control group and experimental group according to the random number table.Patients in the two groups accepted intracranial pressure monitoring;patients in the experimental group additionally accepted magnesium sulfate combined with hypertonic saline for a continuous use of 7 d.Incidences of high intracranial pressure,epilepsy,low intracranial perfusion,cerebral vasospasm,cerebral infarction,and intracranial pressure rebound,total mannitol dosages one week after injury,serum neuron specific enolase (NSE) level,and Glasgow outcome scale (GOS) scores and mortality rate 3 months after injury were analyzed and compared between the two groups.Results A total of 93 patients were enrolled;47 were into the control group and 46 into the experimental group.There were no significant differences in age,gender,Glasgow coma scale (GCS) scores and NSE levels at admission,and percentages of patients accepted craniotomy evacuation of hematoma or bone flap decompression between the two groups (P＞0.05).As compared with those in the control group,the total mannitol dosage one week after injury and serum NSE concentration were significantly lower,and GOS scores 3 months after injury in the experimental group were significantly higher(P＜0.05).Patients in the experimental group had significantly lower incidences of high intracranial pressure,cerebral vasospasm and intracranial pressure rebound as compared with patients in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion Hypertonic saline combined with magnesium sulfate can improve the prognoses of severe craniocerebral injury;it has few side effects and is cheap;it might be an effective cerebral protective agent.

Objective:To investigate the expression of Smad1 in gastric carcinoma and the influence on the migration ability of gastric cancer cells.Methods:Collected the protein from the gastric cancer tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues,the expression level of Smad1 was detected by Western blot.In HGC-27 gastric cancer cells as the research object,the carrier cells transfected with overexpression of Smad1 (p-EGFP-C1/Smad1) and Smad1 small interfering RNA (Smad1 siRNA),while transfection of p-EGFP-C1 and siRNA control as control.MTT to detect cell proliferation.Cell migration ability was detected with cell scratch test.The expression levels of MMP-9,MMP-2,p-Akt and Akt in ceils were detected by Western blot.Akt signal pathway inhibitor LY294002 (20 μg/ml) in gastric adenocarcinoma ceils,MTT for cell proliferation,cell scratch assay for cell migratior.The expression levels of MMP-9,MMP-2,p-Akt,Akt were detected by Western blot.Results:Smadl in gastric carcinoma was significantly lower than the adjacent tissues (P＜ 0.01).The cell survival rate and migration rate of p-EGFP-C1/Smad1 group were significantly lower than that of p-EGFP-C1 group (P＜0.01).The cell survival rate and migration rate of Smad1 siRNA group were significantly higher than those in the siRNA control group (P＜0.01).The expression levels of Akt protein in P-EGFP-C1,p-EGFP-C1/Smad1,Smad1 siRNA,siRNA control cells did not change.The expression levels of MMP-9,MMP-2 and p-Akt in p-EGFP-C1/Smad1 group were significantly lower than that in p-EGFP-C1 group (P＜0.01).The expression levels of MMP-9,MMP-2 and p-Akt in Smad1 siRNA group were significantly higher than that in control siRNA (P＜0.01).The cell proliferation and migration trends in gastric cancer cells effected by Akt signaling pathway inhibitor consistent with the p-EGFP-C1/Smadl group.Conclusion:Low expression of Smad1 in gastric cancer tissue.Smad1 can inhibit the proliferation and migration of gastric cancer cells,the mechanism of action is related to the Akt signaling pathway.

Objective To evaluate the effect of recombinant human erythropoietin (rHuEPO) on lung injury induced by hepatic ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) in rats.Methods Sixty healthy male SpragueDawley rats, aged 6-8 weeks, weighing 220-280 g, were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=20 each) using a random number table: sham operation group (group S) , hepatic I/R group (group I/R), and rHuEPO group (group E).I/R and E groups underwent I/R of 70 percent of the liver.The rHuEPO 4 000 U/kg was injected intraperitoneally at 24 h before I/R in group E, while the equal volume of normal saline was given in S and I/R groups.The rats were sacrificed at 3 h of reperfusion, and lungs were removed and cut into sections which were stained with haematoxylin and eosin and examined under light microscope.Wet to dry lung weight ratio (W/D ratio) was calculated.The expression of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in lung tissues was determined by immunohistochemistry.The content of malondialdehyde (MDA), and activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and myeloperoxidase (MPO) in lung tissues were detected.Results Compared with group S, the W/D ratio, MDA content, and MPO activity were significantly increased, the SOD activity was decreased, the expression of HO-1 and iNOS was up-regulated (P＜0.05) , and the pathological changes of lung tissues were obvious in E and I/R groups.Compared with group I/R, the W/D ratio, MDA content, and MPO activity were significantly decreased, the SOD activity was increased, the expression of HO-1 was up-regulated, the expression of iNOS was down-regulated (P＜0.05) , and the pathological changes of lung tissues were reduced in group E.Conclusion The rHuEPO can alleviate hepatic I/R-induced lung injury in rats, and the mechanism may be related to up-regulated expression of HO-1 and down-regulated expression of iNOS.
