OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of hydrogen peroxide disinfectant on terminal disinfection in wards of medical institutions.METHODS The surfaces of highly frequent contact objects of the wards of the First Affilia-ted Hospital of Nanchang University from which the public health center patients were discharged between Apr.2024 and Jun.2024 were respectively disinfected with 0.5%(low)and 5%(high)concentrations of hydrogen peroxide disinfecting wipes, totally 180 samples were randomly collected before and after the disinfection, and the pathogens were detected. The air of the wards from which the public health center patients were discharged be-tween Jul.2024 and Aug.2024 were disinfected with hydrogen peroxide dry mist disinfection device, and 90 sam-ples were respectively collected before and after the disinfection.Geobacillus stearothermophilus was used as the biological indicator and placed at various points within the air-disinfected wards to evaluate the disinfection level. The environmental sampling results and distribution of bacteria were observed and compared.RESULTS The qualified rates of disinfection of the object surfaces were 95.56%(86/90)and 98.89%(89/90)respectively for the low and high concentratioins of hydrogen peroxide disinfecting wipes, and there was no significant difference in the disinfection effect.Totally 120 strains of pathogens were isolated from unqualified samples before the disinfection, among which gram-negative bacteria(69.17%)were dominant, and the isolation rate of multidrug-resistant or-ganisms was 22.50%(27/120);only 1 strain of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii was isolated after the disinfection. The qualified rate of disinfection of air in the wards was 96.00%by 7.5%hydrogen peroxide dry mist disinfection device, the average bacterial colony counts in the air were 2 CFU/(5 min·vsl)after the dis-infection,and the killing rate of Geobacillus stearothermophilus was 100.00%by the air disinfection.CONCLUSION The hydrogen peroxide disinfectant can meet the requirement for terminal disinfection of the wards of the medical institutions, and it is portable and highly efficient.

Objective To examine the effects of SSRO(sagittal split ramus osteotomy)for Class Ⅲ malocclusion treatment on pha-ryngeal airway space(PAS)and respiratory function during sleep. Methods The subjects were 18 patients in whom mandibular prog-nathism was corrected by sagittal split ramus osteotomy.Morphological changes were studied using cone beam computed tomography at 3 days before surgery and 6 months after surgery.3D models of the craniofacial and pharyngeal airway morphology were reconstructed with a 3D image analysis system(Mimics Innovation Suite). The anteroposterior dimension, lateral width,cross-sectional area of each subject's pharyngeal airway were measured before and after surgery. The three airway volumes and total PAS volume were measured be-fore and after surgery.Single polysomnography(PSG)monitoring was performed using the polysomnography system 3 days before and 6 months after orthognathic surgery, respectively, and the monitoring data were recorded.Statistical analysis of the data was performed using SPSS 25.0 software package. Results SP-AP and SP-CSA decreased after operation(P<0.05).EP-AP was significantly de-creased(P<0.01)and EP-CSA decreased(P<0.05).The oropharynx volume and total PAS volume were significantly decreased, and the epiglottic volume decreased(P<0.05).There were no significant changes in respiratory function during sleep. Conclusion SP-AP,SP-CSA,EP-AP,EP-CSA,the oropharynx volume, the epiglottic volume and total PAS volume were decreased significantly after surgery. There were no significant changes in respiratory function during sleep.

To investigate the effect of long-term indwelling gastric tube on the prevention and treatment of esophageal stenosis after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for esophageal circumferential superficial cancer, data of patients with esophageal circumferential superficial cancer who underwent ESD in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2018 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 15 patients with gastric tube placement (GTP) after ESD (the GTP group ), and 23 patients without GTP (the non-GTP group). The general information, lesion location, pathological stage, postoperative complications, degree of esophageal stenosis (water intake), pain conditions, number of hospitalizations and medical expenses were compared between the two groups. The results showed that there was no significant difference in age, gender, lesion location or postoperative pathological stage between the two groups ( P>0.05). Compared with the non-GTP group, the rate of water intake in the GTP group was significantly higher (11/15 VS 6/23, P<0.05), the frequency of pain was less in the GTP group (7.3±3.1 times VS 10.7±3.6 times, t=3.00, P<0.05), and the number of hospitalizations and the medical expenses after ESD to before and after stent placement were significantly lower in the GTP group than those in the non-GTP group ( P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the incidence of delayed bleeding and perforation, or time of the first stenosis after ESD between the two groups ( P>0.05). The results of the study initially showed that long-term indwelling gastric tube after ESD can reduce the degree of esophageal stenosis with good safety for esophageal circumferential superficial lesions.

With the wide application of nanomaterials in consumer products in the market, it is necessary to understand the existence and release of nanomaterials in consumer products, as well as the current situation of exposure assessment of consumers. China has been a large industrial producer with a huge consumer market, but the supervision of consumer goods with nanomaterials is almost blank. This article summarized and classified the existing consumer products of nanomaterials in the international market, and discussed the release of key nanomaterials in consumer products and the exposure assessment methods of consumers, in order to provide a scientific basis for the establishment of a regulatory system for consumer products of nanomaterials in China in the future.

Due to the subjective and objective constraints of universities in China,PBL Teaching Mode failed to gain its popularity in China's medical education. In its teaching reform,Guangzhou Medical University put forward a new teaching model--Web-based PBL Teaching Mode(hereinafter referred to as WPBL).by integrating the classical concept of PBL education with the real situation of the university and carried it out among students in bilingual classes of Clinical Medicine. The resuIts showed that by effectively overcoming the difficulties during the implementation of classical PBL teaching,Web-based PBL Teaching Mode not only succeeded in achieving the teaching objectives, but also improved the learning efficiency and utilization of teaching resources greatly by means of network technology.

Objective: To study surface landmark of the blood vessles i n subtemporal parapharyngeal region. Methods:6 corpse heads were dissected, the anatomical character and the ralationship between surface landma rks and blood vessels was observed. Results:The distance between inferior medial point of meatus acusticus externus and internal jugular vein fo ramen was (11.5?2.0) mm, that between medial margin of condyle process and in ternal artery foramen was (10.0?1.3) mm. Internal carotid artery was (12.0? 3.0) mm away from posterior margin of mandibular horn, internal jugular vein wa s (5.0?2.0) mm in front of the transverse process of the first cervical verte brae (S1).Conclusions:The inferior point of meatus acustics exte rnus, anterior point of condyle process, mandibular horn and transverse process of S1 can be used as surface landmarks for internol jugular vein and carotid art ery.
