Objective: To evaluate the implementation process of a school-family collaborative "online+offline" tobacco control intervention program in junior high school in Beijing and to explore the execution status, influencing factors and sustainability potential of the intervention, so as to provide evidence for optimizing youth tobacco control strategies. Methods: In November 2024, using the random number table method, four first year junior high school classes were selected from three schools each in Fengtai District, Tongzhou District, and Fangshan District of Beijing. One class served as the control group, while the other three classes were designated as intervention groups (one each for online intervention, offline intervention, and combined online offline intervention). The control group received only conventional education.The online intervention group was engaged in WeChat push interventions, including watching micro videos, viewing promotional materials, participating in online quizzes and mini games; the offline intervention group attended knowledge lectures, played peer games, and participated in offline knowledge competitions; the combined online offline intervention group integrated all the aforementioned online and offline intervention measures. The intervention period was from November 2024 to June 2025, spanning a total of 7 months. Based on the Practical, Robust Implementation and Sustainability Model(PRISM) framework, a qualitative research design was employed to conduct semi structured interviews with 48 participants (12 in each of the intervention groups and 12 organizational staff members) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 3 districts and 3 sampled schools. The interview outlines were designed according to the intervention plan. Data was managed using Nvivo 12.0 software and analyzed following Colaizzi s seven step phenomenological analysis method. Theoretical saturation was assessed using a reserved subset of transcripts. Results: Four core themes were identified in the tobacco control intervention process. Overall fidelity of intervention implementation was largely consistent with the original plan, and students showed strong willingness and positive evaluations toward interactive formats such as knowledge contests and peer games, though occasional breakdowns in school-family communication and blurred boundaries between online and offline components were observed; the participants showed a polarized response in terms of satisfaction and participation, most students and parents recognized the significance of the activity, and some parents observed a reduction in smoking behavior; the implementation of internal tobacco control policies in the school was strict, and the atmosphere was favorable, but there was still room for improvement, such as the scarcity of community tobacco control activities and the difficulty in implementing smoke free units; implementation and sustainability infrastructure were preliminarily established, such as through homeroom teacher supervision and training student assistants to assisted in activities, while the sustainability support system required further refinement. Conclusion The school-family collaborative "online+offline" tobacco control intervention has demonstrated significant positive effects, but further optimization of activity design, enhancement of community reward mechanisms, and standardized training are required to improve the efficacy and sustainability of the intervention.

The Hippo signaling pathway， closely linked to mechanisms like tumorigenesis， cancer cell invasion， migration， and drug resistance， extensively participates in the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer， so targeting the signaling pathway for cancer prevention and treatment has become a crucial research direction in recent years. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） offers multi-faceted， multi-pathway， and multi-target advantages and becomes an important therapy for colorectal cancer by enhancing patients' immunity， improving the life quality， and prolonging survival. Studies show that the active components of TCM， including flavonoids， terpenoids， phenols， alkaloids， quinones， lignans， and saponins， as well as TCM compounds such as modified Sijunzi decoction， Jiedu Sangen decoction， Jianpi Jiedu compound， and Quyu Jiedu decoction， exhibit significant targeting effects on the Hippo signaling pathway. These TCMs can exert an anti-colorectal cancer effect through various mechanisms， such as inducing cancer cell autophagy and apoptosis， inhibiting epithelial-mesenchymal transition， reversing drug resistance of the tumor， and blocking the cancer cell cycle. This paper reviewed and analyzed Chinese and international research on the action mechanisms of TCM in regulating the Hippo signaling pathway for the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer with a comprehensive overview presentation， aiming to provide new references and ideas for the clinical application of TCM and the development of new pharmacological agents in the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of early, short-term, low-dose corticosteroid administration for the prevention and treatment of early acute lung injury (EALI) in patients undergoing thoracoscopic lobectomy. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of patients who underwent thoracoscopic lobectomy at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Taihe Hospital, Hubei University of Medicine, from January 2019 to January 2022. Patients were divided into an early steroid therapy group and an observation group based on whether they received corticosteroids in the early postoperative period. In the early steroid therapy group, in addition to standard postoperative care, patients received a low-dose intravenous push of methylprednisolone (80-120 mg/d) for 3 consecutive days. In the observation group, patients received standard postoperative care without intravenous corticosteroids for the first 3 days. Chest plain CT scans were performed on postoperative day (POD) 1 and POD 3 or 4 to evaluate lung injury. CT scores and the incidence of postoperative EALI were recorded. Results A total of 521 patients were included (268 males, 253 females; age range: 11-80 years). There were 318 patients in the observation group and 203 in the early steroid therapy group. On POD 1, the incidence of EALI was 16.0% in the observation group and 13.8% in the early steroid therapy group, with no statistical difference (P=0.486). Correspondingly, there was no statistical difference in chest CT scores among EALI-positive patients between the two groups (P=0.927). On POD 3-4, the incidence of EALI was significantly lower in the early steroid therapy group (22.7%) compared to the observation group (33.6%) (P=0.007). Although chest CT scores among EALI-positive patients were lower in the early steroid therapy group, the difference was not statistically significant (P=0.377). The overall incidence of EALI within the first 4 postoperative days was significantly lower in the early steroid therapy group (26.1%) than in the observation group (37.4%) (P=0.007). Radiological progression (defined as new-onset EALI or progression of existing EALI) occurred in 14.8% of the early steroid therapy group, significantly lower than the 28.9% in the observation group (P<0.001). The early steroid therapy group had a shorter postoperative length of stay (P<0.001), while there was no statistical difference in the incidence of poor wound healing between the groups (P=0.762). Conclusion Early postoperative corticosteroid use effectively reduces the incidence of EALI on POD 3-4, lowers the risk of radiological progression, and decreases the overall incidence of postoperative EALI. This is achieved without prolonging the length of stay or increasing the risk of poor wound healing. Therefore, early administration of low-dose corticosteroids is beneficial in suppressing the occurrence and progression of EALI. Its early use is recommended for patients at high risk for postoperative EALI.

Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor of the digestive system. In recent years， its incidence rate and mortality are increasing year by year. Due to the complex pathogenesis and poor prognosis of patients， colorectal cancer poses a serious threat to human physical and mental health. Currently， although Western medicine treatment methods can to some extent inhibit tumor growth and alleviate patient symptoms， postoperative recurrence， metastasis， multiple adverse reactions， and susceptibility to drug resistance are prominent issues， resulting in unsatisfactory overall treatment outcomes. Therefore， exploring more efficient and safe treatment methods has become an urgent task. The adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase （AMPK） signaling pathway plays a regulatory role in the growth， differentiation， apoptosis， and autophagy of colorectal cancer cells， and is widely involved in the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer. It is considered an important target for colorectal cancer treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the treatment of colorectal cancer， as it can exert its effects through multiple mechanisms and pathways. It can prevent postoperative recurrence and metastasis， reduce adverse reactions to radiotherapy and chemotherapy， and improve patients' quality of life. It has become a key means of treating colorectal cancer. Research has shown that active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine such as flavonoids， polyphenols， terpenes， and esters， as well as traditional Chinese medicine compounds such as Qingjie Fuzheng Granules and some traditional Chinese medicine extracts， have significant regulatory effects on AMPK and its interaction signaling pathways. They exert their anti-colorectal cancer effects by inducing autophagy and apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells， promoting ferroptosis， inhibiting epithelial-mesenchymal transition， reversing drug resistance， and arresting the cell cycle. This article reviewed and summarized the relevant research on traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer in recent years， with a focus on the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in regulating the AMPK signaling pathway for the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is expected to provide ideas and references for the development of new drugs for clinical anti-colorectal cancer treatment.

ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of modified Huangqi Jianzhong decoction （HQJZ） on gastric precancerous conditions （GPC）. MethodsIn the cell experiment， human gastric mucosal epithelial cells underwent malignant transformation induced by N-methyl-N′-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine （MNNG） for the modeling of GPC （MC cells）. The cells were allocated into four groups： control ， model， low-dose HQJZ （HQJZ-L）， and high-dose HQJZ （HQJZ-H）. The control and model groups were cultured with the complete medium， while HQJZ-L and HQJZ-H groups received additional interventions with HQJZ at low （0.5 g·L^-1） and high （1.0 g·L^-1） doses， respectively. Cell counting kit-8 （CCK-8） assay was used to evaluate cytotoxicity， Transwell assay to assess cell invasion， Annexin V-FITC/PI staining to detect apoptosis， immunofluorescence assay to analyze reactive oxygen species （ROS） expression and mitochondrial autophagy， and Western blot to verify expression of proteins in key pathways. In the animal experiment， the GPC model was established in healthy BALB/c mice through MNNG induction. Twenty-four mice were allocated into four groups： control， model， HQJZ-L， and HQJZ-H. Control and model groups received normal saline （10 mL·kg^-1·d^-1） orally， while HQJZ-L and HQJZ-H groups were administrated with low-dose （6.24 g·kg^-1·d^-1） and high-dose （12.48 g·kg^-1·d^-1） HQJZ， respectively. After treatment， hematoxylin‑eosin （HE） staining and AB-PAS staining were performed to observe histopathological changes in the gastric tissue. Immunofluorescence assay was used to detect reactive oxygen species （ROS） and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 （LC3） levels in the gastric mucosa， TdT-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling （TUNEL） staining to assess apoptosis rates， and Western blotting and immunohistochemistry （IHC） to analyze the expression levels of Ki67， proliferating cell nuclear antigen （PCNA）， and foxhead box O3 （FoxO3）. ResultsCell viability assays showed that HQJZ dose-dependently reduced MC cell viability compared with the control group （P<0.05， P<0.01）. Transwell assays revealed that the model group exhibited enhanced cell invasion compared with the control group （P<0.05）. Compared with the model group， HQJZ treatment attenuated the cell invasion （P<0.05）. Gastric mucosal pathology in mice demonstrated that compared with the control group， the model group showed elevated HE and AB-PAS pathological scores （P<0.05）， while HQJZ treatment reduced these scores （P<0.05）. Transmission electron microscopy revealed increased mitochondrial number and volume in the model group compared with the control group. HQJZ treatment resulted in abnormal mitochondrial structure and significant alterations in rough endoplasmic reticulum morphology and distribution， presenting as dilated and hollow forms. Mitochondrial and apoptosis assessments indicated that compared with the control group， the model group exhibited enhanced Mito Tracker Green fluorescence （P<0.05）， no significant change in DCFH-DA fluorescence， Mito Tracker Red CMXRos fluorescence， ROS immunofluorescence， or malondialdehyde （MDA） level， increased GSH level （P<0.05）， enhanced LC3 fluorescence （P<0.05）， no significant change in apoptosis rate， and elevated ATP content in cells and mouse serum （P<0.05）. Compared with the model group， HQJZ treatment reduced Mito Tracker Green fluorescence （P<0.05）， increased DCFH-DA fluorescence， Mito Tracker Red fluorescence， MDA level， LC3 fluorescence， and apoptosis rate （P<0.05）， and decreased cellular ATP content （P<0.05）. The HQJZ-L group showed no significant change in ROS immunofluorescence or GSH level， whereas the HQJZ-H group demonstrated enhanced ROS immunofluorescence and glutathione （GSH） level （P<0.05）. Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting revealed that compared with the control group， the model group exhibited increased numbers of PCNA- and Ki67-positive cells （P<0.05） and elevated protein levels of FoxO3， sirtuin 1 （SIRT1）， and B-cell lymphoma 6 （Bcl-6） （P<0.05）. HQJZ treatment reduced the numbers of PCNA- and Ki67-positive cells （P<0.05） and lowered the protein levels of FoxO3， SIRT1， and Bcl-6 （P<0.05）. ConclusionHQJZ alleviates the progression of gastric precancerous lesions by regulating mitochondrial function via the FoxO3/ROS pathway and promoting apoptosis of GPC-malignant cells.

ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanism by which Tianxiang pills （TXP） alleviates myocardial cell pyroptosis in the rat model of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion （I/R） injury through modulating the reactive oxygen species （ROS）/cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinase-1 （Caspase-1）/gasdermin D （GSDMD） signaling pathway. MethodsA total of 54 SPF-grade adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomized into six groups （n=9）： sham （thoracotomy only without ligation）， I/R （left anterior descending coronary artery ligation for 30 min followed by reperfusion）， NAC （positive control， N-acetylcysteine， 150 mg·kg^-1， by gavage）， low-dose Tianxiang pills （TXP-L， 2.5 g·kg^-1， by gavage）］， medium-dose Tianxiang pills （TXP-M， 5 g·kg^-1， by gavage）， and high-dose Tianxiang pills （TXP-H， 10 g·kg^-1， by gavage）. The fluorescent probe method was employed to measure the ROS level. Biochemical assay kits were employed to determine the Caspase-1 activity， superoxide dismutase （SOD） activity， malondialdehyde （MDA） content， and glutathione peroxidase （GSH-Px） activity. Myocardial infarct size was assessed by 2，3，5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride （TTC） staining. Western blot analysis was performed to evaluate the expression levels of proteins in the ROS/Caspase-1/GSDMD pathway， including GSDMD， cleaved Caspase-1/Caspase-1 ratio， the N-terminal domain of GSDMD （GSDMD-N）， and the p22-phox subunit of the reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate （NADPH） oxidase complex. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） was utilized to determine the concentration of interleukin-1β （IL-1β）. Transmission electron microscopy （TEM） was employed to observe mitochondrial structure and to score the degree of mitochondrial swelling. ResultsCompared with the Sham group， the I/R group exhibited elevated the levels of ROS， Caspase-1 activity， GSDMD expression， IL-1β concentration， MDA content， infarct area， mitochondrial swelling score， cleaved Caspase-1/Caspase-1， GSDMD-N， and p22phox and decreased activities of SOD and GSH-Px （P<0.05）. Compared with the I/R group， NAC and different doses of TXP significantly reduced the ROS level， Caspase-1 activity， GSDMD expression， IL-1β concentration， MDA content， infarct area， and mitochondrial swelling score. Moreover， they downregulated the expression of cleaved Caspase-1/Caspase-1， GSDMD-N， and p22phox and increased the activities of SOD and GSH-Px （P<0.05）. Furthermore， TXP exerted effects on ROS， MDA， SOD， GSH-Px， Caspase-1 activity， GSDMD expression， IL-1β concentration， cleaved Caspase-1/Caspase-1， GSDMD-N， p22phox， infarct area， and mitochondrial swelling score in a dose-dependent manner （P<0.05）. ConclusionTianxiang pills alleviates myocardial I/R injury by mitigating oxidative stress and cell pyroptosis through the inhibition of the ROS/Caspase-1/GSDMD signaling pathway.

Liver cancer， as a malignant tumor with high incidence and mortality worldwide， has shown a year-by-year increase in both incidence and mortality in China. Currently， Western medicine has achieved certain efficacy in the clinical management of liver cancer in terms of inhibiting tumor growth， alleviating patient symptoms， and delaying disease progression. However， its limitations cannot be ignored. Significant side effects， increasingly severe drug resistance， and limited improvement in patient survival collectively make the overall therapeutic outcomes fall short of ideal expectations. Therefore， exploring more effective and safer treatment strategies has become a critical issue that urgently needs to be addressed in the field of oncology. The adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase （AMPK）/mammalian target of rapamycin （mTOR） signaling pathway plays a central regulatory role in the physiological processes of liver cancer cells， including proliferation， differentiation， apoptosis， and autophagy， and is considered a key molecular target for anti-liver cancer therapy. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）， characterized by its multi-pathway and multi-mechanism synergistic effects， has become an important component of the current comprehensive treatment system for liver cancer. Among these， TCM monomeric compounds， owing to their well-defined chemical structures and precisely analyzable pharmacological mechanisms， represent an important breakthrough in anti-liver cancer drug development. Studies have shown that various TCM monomeric compounds， including flavonoids， alkaloids， polyphenols， saponins， terpenoids， and quinones， can regulate the AMPK/mTOR signaling pathway and its upstream and downstream protein expression. Through these mechanisms， they induce autophagy and apoptosis in liver cancer cells， inhibit aerobic glycolysis， reverse drug resistance， promote ferroptosis， block epithelial-mesenchymal transition， and inhibit angiogenesis， thereby effectively suppressing the growth and metastasis of liver cancer cells. Based on this， this article systematically reviews recent studies on TCM monomeric compounds in the treatment of liver cancer， and further analyzes in depth their mechanisms in regulating the AMPK/mTOR signaling pathway， so as to provide ideas and references for the development of new anti-liver cancer drugs.

It is extensively involved in the occurrence and development of liver cancer， serving as an important target for anti-liver cancer treatment research. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） can exert anti-liver cancer effects through multiple approaches， mechanisms， and pathways. It has shown remarkable efficacy in preventing postoperative recurrence and metastasis of liver cancer， reducing adverse reactions of radiotherapy and chemotherapy， and improving the quality of life， thus becoming a key component of comprehensive liver cancer treatment. Studies have confirmed that the TCM active components including flavonoids， alkaloids， terpenoids， polyphenols， saponins， and quinones， as well as the TCM compound prescriptions such as compound Banmao capsules， Erzhu Jiedu decoction， Pianzaihuang， and Zhenggan prescription， can effectively regulate the Hippo signaling pathway. They exert significant anti-liver cancer effects through multiple mechanisms， such as inducing autophagy and apoptosis of liver cancer cells， improving macrophage polarization， blocking epithelial-mesenchymal transition， inhibiting glycolytic metabolism， promoting immune cell activation， reversing tumor drug resistance， and arresting the cell cycle. This study used "liver cancer" "Hippo" "signaling pathway" and "traditional Chinese medicine" as the main keywords to search multiple literature databases， including PubMed， CNKI， and VIP. By discussing and analyzing the mechanisms of TCM in regulating the Hippo signaling pathway for the treatment of liver cancer in the past five years， this paper aims to provide ideas and references for the research and development of new anti-liver cancer drugs in clinical practice.

Objective To analyze the serological survey results of Changsha City in 2016 and 2024, and to investigate the short-term impact of adjusting the immunization program with two doses of mumps containing vaccine on the mumps antibody levels of healthy individuals in Changsha City. Methods Using the relevant data and samples from the mumps serological surveys conducted in 2016 and 2024, serum mumps IgG antibodies were quantitatively detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The results from these two surveys were analyzed and compared using SPSS 25.0 software. Results The survey included 1 512 participants in 2016 and 1 398 in 2024. In 2024, both the seropositivity rate and IgG antibody levels against mumps in the healthy population were significantly higher than those in 2016 (all P<0.01). Specifically, the seropositivity rates and IgG antibody levels in the age groups of 8–17 months, 18 months–2 years, 3–4 years, and 5–9 years were significantly higher in 2024 compared to 2016 (all P < 0.001). However, among the participants in 2024, the 15–19 years age group showed relatively low seropositivity rate and IgG antibody levels. Conclusion Following the adjustment of the two-dose MuCV immunization strategy, the mumps IgG antibody levels among children aged 8 months to 9 years in Changsha have increased. It is necessary to continue implementing the routine two-dose MuCV vaccination strategy and to explore the necessity of strengthening and supplementing immunization for key groups, including the high-risk 5–9-year-old population and the immunologically vulnerable 15–19-year-old population.
