Obesity has emerged as a major global public health challenge, accompanied by a significant rise in obesity-related comorbidities. Although conventional bariatric surgery achieves reliable outcomes, its invasiveness, potential risks, and irreversible anatomical alterations have limited widespread application. With the rapid advancement of digestive endoscopy, endoscopic bariatric therapies are increasingly recognized as minimally invasive alternatives that combine safety and efficacy. This review summarized the current progress and clinical applications of various endoscopic bariatric techniques, including intragastric balloons, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, and primary obesity surgery endoluminal procedures that reduced gastric volume via space-occupying, or suture and anastomosis technology achieved by oral devices. In addition, aspiration therapy, which removes gastric contents, and innovative methods such as duodenal-jejunal bypass liners and duodenal mucosal resurfacing that mimic surgical bypass or induce mucosal remodeling were discussed. Endoscopic bariatric technologies showed promising prospects and were expected to become an important component of comprehensive obesity management.

In recent years， clinical studies on targeted therapy and immunotherapy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma used alone or in combination have provided abundant evidence on efficacy and safety for the selection of first-line therapies. However， no consensus has been reached on the selection of second-line therapies in various clinical guidelines for hepatocellular carcinoma， which is caused by the fact that existing evidence is limited to the options after failure of sorafenib and that there is still a lack of high-level evidence for new first-line therapies such as second-line therapies after resistance to targeted therapy and immunotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma. This article reviews the results of current clinical trials and summarizes the studies on second-line therapies for hepatocellular carcinoma after resistance to first-line targeted therapy and immunotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma based on the different mechanisms of action of drugs， as well as the research advances in recent years. For hepatocellular carcinoma patients with resistance to first-line targeted therapy and immunotherapy， targeted combination therapy and dual-immune therapy are expected to improve treatment outcome and survival， and more prospective clinical studies are needed in the future to provide effective and safe treatment regimens for hepatocellular carcinoma patients with resistance to targeted therapy and immunotherapy.

Objective:To investigate the differences and similarities of parameters associated with ane-mia of inflammation between patients with stage Ⅲ periodontitis and periodontally healthy volunteers,and to explore the influence of periodontal initial therapy on those indicators.Methods:Patients with stageⅢ periodontitis and periodontally healthy volunteers seeking periodontal treatment or prophylaxis at De-partment of Periodontology,Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology from February 2020 to February 2023 were enrolled.Their demographic characteristics,periodontal parameters(including pro-bing depth,clinical attachment loss,bleeding index),and fasting blood were gathered before periodontal initial therapy.Three months after periodontal initial therapy,the periodontal parameters of the patients with stage Ⅲ periodontitis were re-evaluated and their fasting blood was collected again.Blood routine examinations(including white blood cells,red blood cells,hemoglobin,packed cell volume,mean cor-puscular volume of erythrocytes,and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration)were performed.And ferritin,hepcidin,erythropoietin(EPO)were detected with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).All data analysis was done with SPSS 21.0,independent sample t test,paired t test,and analysis of co-variance were used for comparison between the groups.Results:A total of 25 patients with stage Ⅲperiodontitis and 25 periodontally healthy volunteers were included in this study.The patients with stageⅢ periodontitis were significantly older than those in periodontally healthy status[(36.72±7.64)years vs.(31.44±7.52)years,P=0.017].The patients with stage Ⅲ periodontitis showed lower serum he-moglobin[(134.92±12.71)g/L vs.(146.52±12.51)g/L,P=0.002]and higher serum ferritin[(225.08±103.36)μg/L vs.(155.19±115.38)μg/L,P=0.029],EPO[(41.28±12.58)IU/L vs.(28.38±10.52)IU/L,P＜0.001],and hepcidin[(48.03±34.44)μg/L vs.(27.42±15.00)μg/L,P=0.009]compared with periodontally healthy volunteers.After adjusting the age with the co-variance analysis,these parameters(hemoglobin,ferritin,EPO,and hepcidin)showed the same trends as independent-sample t test with statistical significance.Three months after periodontal initial therapy,all the periodontal parameters showed statistically significant improvement.The serum hemoglobin raised[(146.05±15.48)g/L vs.(133.77±13.15)g/L,P＜0.001],while the serum ferritin[(128.52± 90.95)μg/Lvs.(221.22±102.15)μg/L,P＜0.001],EPO[(27.66±19.67)IU/L vs.(39.63± 12.48)IU/L,P=0.004],and hepcidin[(32.54±18.67)μg/L vs.(48.18±36.74)μg/L,P=0.033]decreased compared with baseline.Conclusion:Tendency of iron metabolism disorder and ane-mia of inflammation was observed in patients with stage Ⅲ periodontitis,which can be attenuated by periodontal initial therapy.

Summary: Receptor mediated gene delivery is a new gene transfer strategy. Asialoglycoprotein receptor (ASGP-R), the receptor of asialoorosomucoid (Asor), is specially expressed on the surface of hepatocyte. In this paper, the nuclide 131I was combined with Asor to form a kind of soluble nuclide-protein complex, which can be specifically endocytosed into hepatocyte by ASGP-R. After intravenous injection of the complex into experimental animals, the deposition of Asor in vivo and the targeting quality of hepatocyte was detected by ECT. This research testified the feasibility of targeting Asor complex delivery to hepatocyte mediated by ASGP-R in vivo, and provided foundation for the genetic diagnosis and gene therapy of hepatic cell-related diseases.

Using PCR technique, the vp3 gene of chicken anemia virus (CAV) was cloned into the eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3 to construct a recombinant pcDNA-vp3. Restriction enzyme digestion and sequencing analysis revealed that CAV vp3 gene was correctly inserted into the blank vector pcDNA3. After LipofectAMINE-mediated transfection in vitro with pcDNA-vp3 and pcDNA3 respectively, the total mRNA was extracted from liver carcinoma cell lines HepG2 and diploid cell line L-02, and RT-PCR was performed afterward. The results of RT-PCR suggested that vp3 gene was expressed in these two cell lines. At the same time, using in situ apoptotic detection assay, TUNEL kits, the apoptotic cells were found in pcDNA-vp3 transfected HepG2, but not in mock transfected cell lines. VP3 could induce cell death by apoptosis in cancer cell lines, but not in diploid cell lines. All the results indicated that CAV vp3 gene, a potential therapeutic agents, has the potential of being used for cancer treatment.
