1.Effective application of problem-based learning(PBL)in clinical nursing education

Objective This study aims to explore the application effects of Problem-Based Learning(PBL)in clinical nursing education.Methods A total of 60 nursing personnel who interned at our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table:a traditional group(30 participants,traditional teaching)and a PBL group(30 participants,PBL teaching).The study compared the assessment scores,comprehensive abilities,critical thinking abilities,and teaching satisfaction of the two groups.Results The theoretical and practical assessment scores of the PBL group were significantly higher than those of the traditional group(P<0.05).The comprehensive ability scores and critical thinking ability scores of the PBL group were significantly higher than those of the tradi-tional group(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the PBL group was significantly higher than that of the traditional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of PBL in clinical nursing education can significantly improve the assessment scores of nurs-ing interns and enhance their comprehensive abilities,critical thinking abilities,and teaching satisfaction.It is worth promoting and implementing in nursing education.
