Objective:To investigate the changes of upper airway and adenoids in children with hypertrophic adenoid skeletal classⅠ and class Ⅲ anterior crossbite after orthodontic treatment.Methods:From January 2021 to January 2022,155 children with skeletal class Ⅲ anterior crossbite who were treated with anterior traction in Stomatological Hospital,Shanxi Medical University were selected.They were divided into class Ⅲ normal group(72 cases)and class Ⅲ hypertrophic group(83 cases)according to whether the adenoids were hypertrophic.A total of 122 children with class Ⅰ anterior counterocclusion were treated with"2×4"treatment,which were di-vided into Class Ⅰ normal group(60 cases)and class Ⅰ hypertrophy group(62 cases).The changes of upper airway and adenoid were compared between the two groups.Results:(1)After intervention,only the width of nasopharynx cavity increased(P＜0.05)in Class Ⅰ normal group and Class Ⅰ hypertrophic group,and there was no significant difference in other indicators(P＞0.05).(2)After intervention,the adenoid thickness and A/N ratio of children with skeletal class Ⅲ anterior crossbite decreased,and the width of na-sopharynx cavity,nasopharynx airway space,soft palate upper and rear airway space,uvula tip rear airway space,the minimum air-way space between soft palate and adenoid,and mandibular plane angle increased(P＜0.05).The A/N ratio of class Ⅲ hypertrophic group was lower than that of class Ⅲ normal group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Orthodontic treatment can reduce the degree of adenoid hypertrophy and expand the airway in children with skeletal class Ⅲ anterior crossbite.Only the width of the nasopharynx cavity can be widened after the correction intervention for children with adenoid hypertrophy and skeletal class Ⅰ anterior crossbite.

Nuclear medicine plays an indispensable role in the diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis of a wide range of diseases.Nuclear medicine using radionuclides for diagnosis has the advantages of accuracy,speed,high sensitivity and high resolution.Currently,several radionuclides play pivotal roles in disease diagnosis.This article primarily examines the clinical application and research of diagnostic radionuclides,including 18 F,89 Zr,68 Ga,99m Tc,131 I,123 I,and 11 C.The objective is to offer valuable insights for disease diagnosis and staging of diseases.

Objective To investigate the distribution of B cells in both tumor and non-tumor tissues of gastric cancer patients,analyze their phenotypic characteristics and explore the impact on T cell proliferation.Methods Immunohistochemical staining was utilized to detect the expression of B cell surface marker CD 19 in tumor and non-tumor tissues from 33 gastric cancer patients.The expression levels of chemokine receptors and immunoglobulin molecules on B cells in both tumor and non-tumor tissues were measured using flow cytometry.Chemotaxis experiments were conducted to examine the role of the CXCL12-CXCR4 axis in B cell chemotaxis.B cells isolated and purified from both tissue types were co-cultured with autologous peripheral T cells to assess their effect on T cell proliferation.Results There were significantly more B cells infiltrated in tumor tissues than those infitrated in the non-tumor tissues of gastric cancer patients(P＜0.01),and CXCR4 was highly expressed on tumor-infiltrating B cells compared with B cells derived from non-tumor tissues(P＜0.05).The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)analysis indicated that the expression level of CXCL12 in tumor tissues was positively correlated with the expression level of CD19 in gastric cancer patients(r=0.15,P＜0.01).And the expression level of CXCL12 in tumor tissues of the gastric cancer patients was also positively correlated with the number of B cells infiltrated in tumor tissues.Chemotaxis experiments confirmed that the CXCL12-CXCR4 axis was involved in promoting B cell chemotaxis(P＜0.05).Although B cells in tumor and non-tumor tissues had similar levels of IgM,IgG,and IgA expression,tumor-infiltrating B cells significantly inhibited the proliferation of T cells when compared with B cells derived from non-tumor tissues(P＜0.01).Conclusion There are more B cells infiltrated in gastric cancer tissues,which may be recruited to tumor tissues through the CXCL12-CXCR4 axis,and then inhibit T cell proliferation to promote the progression of gastric cancer.

Objective:To explore the effects of G protein-coupled receptor 55 (GPR55) antagonist CID16020046 on renal fibrosis in mice, and provide a new method and idea for the treatment of renal fibrosis.Methods:(1) GPR55 overexpression and GPR55 antagonist CID16020046 were used in renal fibroblasts (NRK-49F) of rats, respectively. Meanwhile,transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) was applied in the NRK-49F cells to observe the expression of fibrosis-related factors and inflammatory factors. (2) A mouse model of renal fibrosis with unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) was established in vivo. Eight-week-old male C57BL/6J mice (20-25 g) were randomly divided into three groups according to the random number table method: sham group ( n=6), model group (UUO group, n=7), model + CID16020046 drug (UUO+CID group, n=8). The drug CID16020046 (10 mg/kg) was intraperitoneally injected 1 day before modeling, on the day of modeling and every day after surgery in UUO+CID group, and the corresponding dose of 0.9% normal saline was injected intraperitoneally in sham and UUO groups.The mice were sacrificed for sampling 7 days after UUO surgery, and their renal function indicators, liver transaminase, and cardiac markers were examined. Western blotting and quantitative real-time PCR were used to detect the expression of renal fibrosis-related factors and inflammatory factors. Immunohistochemistry staining, Sirius red staining and Masson trichrome staining were used to detect the pathological changes of renal tissues. Results:(1) After NRK-49F cells were stimulated by TGF-β1, the mRNA and protein expression levels of GPR55 were significantly increased (both P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the mRNA expression of fibrosis-related factors fibronectin and collagen Ⅰ, and inflammatory factors interleukin-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α between TGF-β1 group and TGF-β1 + GPR55 overexpression group (all P>0.05). Compared with the TGF-β1 group, the protein expression levels of fibrosis-related factors alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and vimentin, and the mRNA expression levels of collagen Ⅰ and α-SMA were lower in the TGF-β1 + CID group (all P<0.05). (2) Compared with sham group, the mRNA and protein expression levels of GPR55 in UUO group were higher (both P<0.05). The serum creatinine in the UUO+CID group was lower compared to the UUO group ( P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in blood urea nitrogen, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase and creatine kinase isoenzyme between UUO group and UUO+CID group (all P>0.05). Compared with the UUO group, the protein expression levels of renal fibrosis-related factors fibronectin, collagen Ⅰ and vimentin, and the mRNA expression levels of fibronectin, collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅲ and α-SMA were lower in the UUO+CID group (all P<0.05). The degree of renal tubular dilation and interstitial collagen fiber deposition in the UUO+CID group was significantly reduced compared to the UUO group (all P<0.05). Conclusions:CID16020046 can reduce serum creatinine in UUO mice, protect renal function, and simultaneously decrease the expression of fibrosis-related factors in renal fibroblasts and mouse kidney tissues, thereby alleviating renal fibrosis.

Objective:To investigate imaging characteristics of papulopustular rosacea (PPR) by high-frequency ultrasound combined with color Doppler flow imaging.Methods:From August 2021 to August 2022, 30 patients with PPR were enrolled from the Department of Dermatology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and 30 healthy volunteers served as controls. The 22-MHz high-frequency ultrasound combined with color Doppler blood flow imaging was performed to measure the skin thickness, echo and blood flow parameters at the cheek, and the ultrasound results were compared between the two groups. Comparisons between groups were conducted by using t test or chi-square test. The diagnostic value was analyzed using the area under the curve (AUC) in the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results:In the case group, there were 12 males and 18 females, and their ages ranged from 22 to 65 years (42.3 ± 12.8 years) ; in the control group, there were 10 males and 20 females, and their ages ranged from 24 to 62 years (41.0 ± 8.4 years) . The epidermal and dermal thicknesses at the cheek were significantly higher in the case group (132.64 ± 12.29 μm, 1 812.29 ± 85.52 μm, respectively) than in the control group (104.34 ± 14.45 μm, 1 671.77 ± 146.55 μm, respectively, both P < 0.05) . High-frequency ultrasound images showed that the case group was mainly characterized by irregular hypoechoic areas in the cheek dermis (80%) , while banded moderately echoic areas were common in the cheek dermis in the control group (90%) ; subepidermal low-echogenic bands and dermal irregular hypoechoic areas were more likely to appear in the case group than in the control group (93.33% vs. 43.33%, 80% vs. 10%, respectively, both P < 0.001) . Compared with the control group, the case group showed a significantly increased proportion of patients with abundant blood flow signals (93.3% vs. 10%, P < 0.05) , and significantly increased blood vessel diameters (1.60 ± 0.42 mm vs. 0.95 ± 0.32 mm, P < 0.05) ; there was no significant difference in peak systolic blood flow velocity and vascular resistance index between the two groups (both P > 0.05) . The AUC of high-frequency ultrasound combined with color Doppler flow imaging quantitative parameters (including epidermal thicknesses, dermal thicknesses, and blood vessel diameters) was 0.989 (95% CI: 0.970 - 1.000) for the diagnosis of PPR, and the sensitivity and specificity were both 96.7%, which were higher than those of single parameter-based diagnostic model. Conclusion:High-frequency ultrasound combined with color Doppler flow imaging can help improve the accuracy of the diagnosis of PPR, by accurately and non-invasively measuring skin thickness and blood flow parameters.

MAGED4B belongs to the melanoma-associated antigen family; originally found in melanoma, it is expressed in various types of cancer, and is especially enriched in glioblastoma. However, the functional role and molecular mechanisms of MAGED4B in glioma are still unclear. In this study, we found that the MAGED4B level was higher in glioma tissue than that in non-cancer tissue, and the level was positively correlated with glioma grade, tumor diameter, Ki-67 level, and patient age. The patients with higher levels had a worse prognosis than those with lower MAGED4B levels. In glioma cells, MAGED4B overexpression promoted proliferation, invasion, and migration, as well as decreasing apoptosis and the chemosensitivity to cisplatin and temozolomide. On the contrary, MAGED4B knockdown in glioma cells inhibited proliferation, invasion, and migration, as well as increasing apoptosis and the chemosensitivity to cisplatin and temozolomide. MAGED4B knockdown also inhibited the growth of gliomas implanted into the rat brain. The interaction between MAGED4B and tripartite motif-containing 27 (TRIM27) in glioma cells was detected by co-immunoprecipitation assay, which showed that MAGED4B was co-localized with TRIM27. In addition, MAGED4B overexpression down-regulated the TRIM27 protein level, and this was blocked by carbobenzoxyl-L-leucyl-L-leucyl-L-leucine (MG132), an inhibitor of the proteasome. On the contrary, MAGED4B knockdown up-regulated the TRIM27 level. Furthermore, MAGED4B overexpression increased TRIM27 ubiquitination in the presence of MG132. Accordingly, MAGED4B down-regulated the protein levels of genes downstream of ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7) involved in the tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α)-induced apoptotic pathway. These findings indicate that MAGED4B promotes glioma growth via a TRIM27/USP7/receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1 (RIP1)-dependent TNF-α-induced apoptotic pathway, which suggests that MAGED4B is a potential target for glioma diagnosis and treatment.

The new external preparations of tr aditional Chinese medicine （TCM）mainly include transdermal drug delivery preparation and transmucosal drug delivery system. With the development of modern science and technology ，new external preparations of TCM are widely used in internal medicine ，gynecology，pediatrics and other diseases. In order to provide reference for dosage form development of TCM and safe use of drug in clinic ，this paper reviews the research progress of new external preparation technology for TCM （skin penetration method ，carrier encapsulation technology ，etc.），new external dosage forms of TCM（microneedles，gels，patches，film sprays ，suppositories，film agents ，in situ gels ，etc.）. In the future ，the research of new external preparations of TCM should conduct under the guidance of TCM theory ，and pay attention to the new drug delivery system of previous drugs and the development of TCM components of “drug-adjuvant integration ”，strengthen the research on new external preparations of TCM compounds ，and establish an evaluation system in line with the overall characteristics of TCM so as to promote the sustainable development of new external preparations of TCM.

OBJECTIVE To study the protective effects o f valproic acid on cardiac and cerebral injury in rats subjected to severe scalding combined with seawater immersion injury with delayed fluid replacement. METHODS The rats were divided into scalding+delayed fluid replacement group （group S ），scalding+seawater immersion+delayed fluid replacement group （group SS ）， scalding+seawater immersion+valproic acid+delayed fluid replacement group （group SSV ）according to random number table ，with 60 rats in each group. All groups were subjected to 35％total body surface area third-degree full-thickness scalding with boiled water. Group SS and group SSV were immersed in artificial ；seawater（30 min）immediately after scalding ，and group SSV was subcutaneously injected with valproic acid 300 mg/kg immediately after out of water. Sodium lactate Ringer ’s 0314-2279277。E-mail：125467374@qq.com injection was injected intravenously within 30 minutes according to 1/2 Parkland formula at 2 h after scalding in each group for delayed fluid replacement. The death time of rats was recorded ，and the average survival time and 24 h survival rate of rats in each group were calculat ed. Mean arterial pressure （MAP），heart rate （HR），respiration rate （RR），rectal temperature （RT），arterial blood pH ，arterial partial pressure of oxygen （PaO2），arterial blood partial pressure of carbon dioxide （PaCO2），HCO3－，creatine kinase MB isoenzyme （CK-MB）and neuron specific enolase （NSE）were detected before scalding ，at 0，2，5 h after scalding. The pathological changes of cardiac and cerebral tissue were observed. RESULTS The 24 h survival rate of group SS （55％）was significantly lower than that of group S （90％）， while that of group SSV （75％）was increased significantly ，compared with group SS （P＜0.05）. Compared with group S ，the levels of MAP ，RT，HR，pH，PaO2 and HCO 3－ in group SS were significantly lowered ，while the levels of CK-MB and NSE were increased significantly at 0，2，5 h after scalding ；the levels of PaCO 2 were increased significantly at 2，5 h after scalding ， while the levels of RR were decreased significantly at 0，2 h after scalding （P＜0.05）. Compared with group SS ，the levels of MAP，RT，HR，pH，PaO2 and HCO 3－ in group SSV were significantly increased ，while the levels of PaCO 2，CK-MB and NSE were decreased significantly at 2，5 h after scalding ；the level of RR was increased significantly at 2 h after scalding （P＜0.05）. At 2，5 h after scalding ，cardiac and cerebral injury of rats in group SS were aggravated significantly than that in group S ；cardiac and cerebral injury of rats in group SSV were relieved significantly than that in group SS. CONCLUSIONS After severe scalding combined seawater immersion injury ，hypodermic injection of sodium valproate could protect cardiac and cerebral function of rats ， improve vital signs and blood gas index ，prolong survival time and improve survival rate in rats.

A 66-year-old male urothelial carcinoma patient with liver and lymph node metastasis received an IV infusion of paclitaxel for injection (albumin bound) 400 mg on day 1 and tegafur, gimeracil and oteracil potassium capsules 50 mg orally twice daily on day 1 to day 14, the interval was 1 week, and each cycle was 21 days. A total of 9 cycles of chemotherapy were performed. The patient complained of priapism occurring about 15 hours (about 1: 00 of the next morning) after intravenous infusion of paclitaxel (albumin bound) in the cycles 1-5 and 7-9, which could disappear about 2 hours later. No special treatment was given. After that, paclitaxel for injection (albumin bound) was not used, and the patient did not have the above symptoms again after changing to immunotherapy as disease progresses. It was considered that the patient′s priapism might be related to paclitaxel for injection (albumin bound).
