Objective To investigate the efficacy of noninvasive matrix RF technology in promoting functional rehabilitation of the pelvic floor in postpartum women who have undergone natural delivery. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 80 nulliparous women who underwent spontaneous vaginal delivery at the hospital from January 2022 to April 2023.Participants were randomly allocated into a control group and an observation group, each comprising 40 individuals, using the random number table method. The control group received biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy, while the observation group was treated with non-invasive matrix radiofrequency(RF)technology. Both groups were assessed for pelvic floor muscle strength, pelvic floor structural parameters(levator hiatus area, levator muscle thickness),and levator ani muscle[measured by the maximum value of Young's modulus(Emax)in both resting and contracting states]before treatment, after one session, and at the end of the treatment period. At the conclusion of the treatment, vaginal lubrication and vaginal sensitivity were evaluated using the Female Sexual Function Index(FSFI).Additionally, the incidence of adverse events was compared between the two groups before and after the completion of treatment. Results After one treatment, there were no significant changes in pelvic floor muscle strength, levator ani muscle hiatus area, and levator ani muscle thickness in the control group compared to pre-treatment levels(P>0.05).In contrast, the observation group showed significant improvements in pelvic floor muscle strength and levator ani muscle thickness compared to pre-treatment levels, while the levator ani muscle hiatus area was significantly reduced(P<0.05).Additionally,at this point, the pelvic floor muscle strength and levator ani muscle thickness in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, whereas the levator ani muscle hiatus area was significantly smaller(P<0.05).By the end of the treatment, both groups demonstrated further improvements in pelvic floor muscle strength and levator ani muscle thickness compared to pre-treatment and post-first-treatment levels, with a continued reduction in the levator ani muscle hiatus area.Notably, the observation group consistently exhibited superior outcomes in all three parameters compared to the control group(P<0.05).At the end of treatment, the Emax differences in the subpubic branch, abdominal muscles, and posterior hypothalamus were significantly greater than those before and after a single treatment session in both groups(P<0.05).Moreover,the Emax differences in these regions were significantly higher in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).Post-treatment,both groups showed increased scores for vaginal lubrication, vaginal sensitivity, and FSFI,with more pronounced improvements observed in the observation group(P<0.05).Following treatment,no significant differences were noted between the two groups regarding the incidence of urinary incontinence, lumbosacral pain, uterine prolapse, and vaginal wall bulge(P>0.05).However,the observa-tion group exhibited a lower frequency of adverse events compared to the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,maternal rehabilitation satisfaction was 100%(40/40)in the observation group, which was significantly higher than 85.00%(34/40)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of noninvasive matrix RF technology in the rehabilitation of pelvic floor muscle function in postpartum women who have undergone vaginal delivery demonstrates rapid efficacy. It can enhance pelvic floor muscle strength within a short period, restore pelvic floor structure, and significantly improve vaginal lubrication and sensitivity, thereby enhancing sexual well-being.

[Objective]To investigate the effect of Qifu Qiangxin Decoction on heart failure(HF)and explore its mechanism.[Methods]Forty male C57BL/6N mice were randomly divided into sham surgery(Sham)group,model(HF)group,low-dose Qifu Qiangxin Formula(HF+QL)group,high-dose Qifu Qiangxin Formula(HF+QH)group and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor(HF+ACEI)group according to the random number table method. The mouse HF model was established by ligating the left anterior descending(LAD)artery.Cell model in cardiac fibroblasts(CFs)was stimulated by Angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ).Ang Ⅱ-stimulated CFs were treated with drug-containing serum or blank serum, then incubated with gamma-secretase inhibitor(DAPT)and transmembrane receptor Notch1 siRNA.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to assess serum B-syndrome natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels in mice.Left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),ejection fraction(EF)and fraction shorting(FS)were measured by ultrasound cardiogram(UCG).The histological structure was observed after hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining,while the collagen protein expression in heart muscle tissues was measured by using Picro sirius red(PSR)and Masson staining.Quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR),western blot and immunofluorescence(IF)was used to determine the expression levels of collagenⅠ,collagen Ⅲ,α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),Notch1,Notch intracellular domain-1(NICD1),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),Smad protein 2(Smad2),phosphorylated-Smad2(p-Smad2),Smad protein 3(Smad3),phosphorylated-Smad3(p-Smad3),Smad protein 7(Smad7)in CFs and heart tissues, and the migration of CFs was determined by examining wound healing.[Results]Compared with HF group,Qifu Qiangxin Decoction reduced histopathological changes, serum BNP levels,LVESD and LVEDD,and collagen deposition, while increasing EF and FS(P<0.01,P<0.001).Qifu Qiangxin Decoction also notably inhibited the cell viability, migration, collagen Ⅰ,collagen Ⅲ mRNA and α-SMA protein expression in Ang Ⅱ stimulated CFs(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001);promoted Notch1,NICD1 and Smad7 protein expression and hindered TGF-β1,p-Smad2,p-Smad3 protein expression in HF mice and Ang Ⅱ-stimulated CFs(P<0.001).siNotch1 abolished the impact of Qifu Qiangxin Decoction on Notch1,NICD1,TGF-β1,p-Smad2 and p-Smad3 protein expression, and cell viability, migration,as well as collagen Ⅰ,collagen Ⅲ mRNA and α-SMA protein expression in Ang Ⅱ-stimulated CFs(P<0.05,P<0.01,P<0.001).[Conclusion]To some extent,Qifu Qiangxin Decoction showed protective properties against HF,and its mechanism may be through the regulation of the TGF-β1/Smad pathway by Notch1.

Objective To understand the cognition of cervical cancer and HPV (Human papilloma virus) among female college students in Suzhou, the choice of payment methods for HPV vaccine, and the influencing factors of willingness to receive HPV vaccine, and to provide a reference for the development of prevention and control strategies for cervical cancer in Suzhou. Methods The QR code for the questionnaire was distributed to the students through the school doctors of the selected schools, and the respondents then completed the online questionnaire by scanning the QR code with a mobile phone. Results Among 2 169 female students, 1 353 completed the cognitive survey, with an average score of 6.14 and a 95% CI of 6.02 and 6.26. Among female students with a bachelor's degree, the high vaccine price was the main reason for their unwillingness to vaccinate, followed by a concern about vaccine safety. Among post-graduate students, the main reason for their unwillingness to vaccinate was the safety of the vaccine, while the second reason was the high price. The results of chi square test showed that sexual life had an impact on the vaccination decision, and that the vaccination proportion of students having sexual life was higher than that of asexual students (χ2=11.26, P=0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that there were three factors influencing the HPV vaccination among female college students: cognitive score, cost of living, and education background (all P<0.05). Conclusion School health education and network media publicity should be strengthened to further improve public awareness and promote the implementation of cervical cancer prevention and control. It is suggested to include HPV vaccine charges into medical insurance or to accelerate the introduction of domestic HPV vaccine, reduce the price of the vaccine, ensure the safety and quality of the vaccine, and increase the number of HPV vaccine recipients, so as to comprehensively improve the prevention and control effect of cervical cancer.

Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of fear of falling (FOF) in patients with first ever cerebral infarction. Methods A sample of 105 inpatients with cerebral infarction were recruited from two tertiary hospitals in Tianjin (Tianjin Huanhu Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of TCM) to complete this research. They were investigated with the simplified Chinese version of Falls Efficacy Scale International-short (FES-Is), Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Barthel Index Rating Scale (BI) and Functional Ambulation Category Scale (FAC). Results The total score of FES-Is was 15.38±7.45. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that age, marital status, fall history, walking ability and anxiety were important factors of FOF. Conclusions Clinical staff should guide the patients with first cerebral infarction especially who had a history of falling to take active and effective measures to deal with their FOF, and pay more attention on patients who was elderly, without a spouse, assisted walking and anxiety, to release their FOF, prevent the falling and promote the functional recovery of patients.
