DeepSeek,a domestically developed generative artificial intelligence(AI)tool,is experiencing rapid growth within China's technological landscape. With its core advantages of open-source accessibility,cost-efficiency,vertical scenario specialization, and Chinese linguistic contextualization,it has been reconfiguring medical education. This development brings nu-merous innovative opportunities to postgraduate medical education, particularly in standardized training of resident physicians. On one hand,DeepSeek creates new possibilities for participants in residency training regarding knowledge acquisition, assisted learning, and teaching methodologies. On the other hand, its implementation raises concerns such as inadequate development of higher-order thinking skills, lack of realistic doctor-patient communication simulations, and diminished roles of clinical instruc-tors.Hospitals with a resident physician training base should promptly adapt to the new situation and move embrace intelligent de-velopment.By addressing the challenges posed by DeepSeek while fully utilizing emerging technologies, they can drive the high-quality development of standardized resident physician training.

Objective To explore the current research status, research hotspots, and development trends of clinician's post-competency in China using CiteSpace visualization analysis, thus providing insights into establishing professional teams and assisting in the high-quality development of hospitals. Methods Relevant literature on clinician post-competency was retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database. The CiteSpace software was employed to create visualization maps of the publication volume, authors, and keywords of the relevant research. This analysis included author collaboration net-works,keyword co-occurrence,clustering,and burst analysis. Results A total of 710 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were retrieved.Research on clinician post-competency in China demonstrated a general upward trend from 2013 to 2024.Howev-er,collaboration among authors and institutions remained relatively limited. The primary research hotspots focused on fields such as medical education, teaching reform, and training models. The research frontier encompassed topics like reform of teaching modes, evaluation of post-competency among traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, and competency studies utilizing the Del-phi method. Conclusion Research on clinician post-competency in China grows rapidly, garnering increasing attention. To fur-ther advance this field, researchers should enhance collaboration and communication, conduct systematic investigations into re-search hotspots and cutting-edge issues, and continuously refine medical talent education and evaluation mechanisms. These ef-forts will provide a valuable foundation for promoting the high-quality development of hospitals.

Objective To investigate the compliance with medical therapy in elderly patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Methods The BPH patients aged 66 to 93 treated with 5α-reductase inhibitor (finasteride) and/or α-blockers (tamsulosin, doxazosin or terazosin) were followed up for 6 months. The retrospective data, including international prostatic symptom score (IPSS),quality of life (QOL),maximum flow rate (Qmax),prostate volume (PV),the information of medical types, total number of days of medication supplied, discontinuation and switching of therapy, and adverse effects were collected and analyzed. Results In all 103 subjects,30 patients (29.1%) received α-blockers,25 patients (24.3%) received finasteride, and 48 patients (46.6%)received combination therapy. After a follow-up of 6 months, the medication possession ratio (MPR)was 0.89±0.23 with a good-compliance rate (MPR≥0.8),discontinuation rate and switching rate were 79.6% (82 cases),5.8% (6 cases) and 6.8% (7 cases),respectively, while the efficacy rate, the adverse reaction rate, incidence of acute urinary retention (AUR) and incidence of BPH related operations were 73.8% (76 cases),12.6% (13 cases),15.5% (16 cases) and 4.9% (5 cases),separately. The MPR (0.90±0.24) and good-compliance rate (84.0%) in patients treated with finasteride were both greater than those with α-blockers (0.87 ± 0.25,76.7%) and combination therapy (0.89 ±0.22,79.2%),but with no significant difference.Compared with patients with badcompliance, the efficacy ratio of medical therapy was significant higher in patients with goodcompliance (81.7% vs.42.9%),while the incidence of adverse effects and AUR were significant fewer (7.3% vs.33.3% and 9.8% vs.38.1%).Conclusions Elderly patients received either monotherapy or combination therapy with finasteride and α-blockers have good-compliance,which might be associated with the good effect of medical therapy and fewer adverse effects.

Objective To explore the impact of intermittent androgen deprivation therapy on prostate volume and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in patients with prostate cancer combined with prostatic hyperplasia (BPH),and to evaluate the clinical effect of intermittent androgen deprivation therapy as compared with conventional drug in patients with BPH.Methods Patients with prostate cancer (n=57) and BPH (n=83) were respectively treated with intermittent androgen deprivation therapy and finasteride combined with alpha-receptor antagonist.Prostate volume, international prostate symptom score (IPSS),quality of life index (QOL) and maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax) in patients were observed before and 1,3,6 and 12 months after treatment. Results The improvements in prostate volume,IPSS,QOL and Qmax were higher in prostate cancer patients treated with intermittent androgen deprivation therapy than in BPH patients treated with finasteride combined with alpha-receptor antagonist (P < 0.05).Conclusions Intermittent androgen deprivation therapy can significantly reduce prostate volume and improve LUTS in patients with prostate cancer, and has a better clinical effect than finasteride combined with alpha-receptor antagonist treatment.

This study reported the primary application of FA-ELISA from 107-121kDa fration antibody of Schistosoma Japonicum for detection of the short-term antibody in patients with schistosomiasis. The result showed that this method provided high sensitivity (with positive rate of 93. 33% with 30 cases of schistosomiasis) and good specificity (no false postive in 60 health objects). When one group of schistosome patients were examined with FA -ELISA and with the routine SEA-ELISA before chemotherapy and at 8 months,1 year and 1. 5 year after treatment,it showed good property for evaluation of chemotherapy efficacy with FA -ELISA,which was much better than the routine method.

The circulating antigens of Schistosoma japonicum and the antibodies against the worm in the sera of patients were detected concurrently by Dot-ELISA.In 30 sera from patients with acute schistosomiasis, 51 sera from patients with chronic schistosomiasis and 30 sera from patients being treated by praziquantel 5=6 years ago, the positive rates of the circulating antigens were 86.7%, 78.4% and 23.3% respectively, but all negative in 30 sera from patients with clonorchiasis sinensis. One of the 40 sera from healthy individuals had a weak positive reaction. The positive rates of the antibodies in those acute, chronic and treated patients with schistosomiasis were 100.0%,96.1% and 30.0%; the mean titers of antibodies were 1 : 367.6, 1 : 181.7 and 1 : 9.8 respectively; Two sera from patients with clonorchiasis were positive. All of the healthy individuals were negative. The results indicaded that the circulating antigen was in accord with the antibodies in most sera from schistosomiasis patients.
