Objective To construct a lung cancer surgery-oriented disease-specific database covering the entire perioperative care pathway, thereby improving the quality and usability of key surgical data elements. Methods Real-world clinical data were extracted from a single-center thoracic surgery department. A standardized data model was established based on the open electronic health record (openEHR) standard. Large language model (LLM), optical character recognition (OCR), and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven techniques were employed to extract, structure, and perform quality control on unstructured clinical narratives, imaging reports, and radiological data, with a focus on capturing surgically relevant perioperative indicator. Results A multimodal database comprising 19 917 patients was established, including 7 930 males and 11 987 females, with ages ranging from 15 to 97 (61.7±9.7) years. The database includes 582 structured data variables, textual report data corresponding to 69 clinical indicators, 13 000 pulmonary function test PDF reports, and chest CT imaging data from 16 884 patients. This database comprehensively covers major information relevant to surgical diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, significantly improving the completeness and granularity of surgical detail data. Large language models (LLMs) and optical character recognition (OCR) technologies enhanced the efficiency of converting unstructured data into structured formats, while a multi-level manual verification process ensured data accuracy and traceability. The database supports real-world research including comparisons of surgical procedures, prediction of postoperative complications, prognosis assessment, and multimodal data association analyses.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2025;46(1):102-105
Objective:
To explore the association of physical activity and sugar sweetened beverage consumption with psychological sub health among middle school students in Bao an District, Shenzhen, so as to provide a reference for adolescent mental health promotion.
Methods:
A questionnaire survey was conducted in November 2024 by a stratified cluster random sampling method to select 6 926 junior and senior middle school students from 5 middle schools in Shenzhen. The questionnaire from Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System was used to assess the consumption of sugar sweetened beverages, and physical activity Rating Scale was used to assess the level of physical activity, and Brief Instrument on Psychological Health of Youths was used to evaluate the psychological sub health status. The Chi -square test was used to analyze the differences in the detection rates of psychological sub health among different groups of middle school students, and a multivariate Logistic regression model was established to analyze the effects of physical activity and sugar sweetened beverage consumption and their combined effects on the psychological sub health of middle school students.
Results:
The detection rate of psychological sub health among middle school students in Bao an District, Shenzhen was 18.93%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that, after controlling for confounding factors such as gender, school stage, family residence, family economic status, parental literacy, academic stress and number of friends, lack of physical activity or excessive sugar sweetened beverage consumption were associated with increased risks of psychological sub health among middle school students ( OR =1.36, 1.45); and the highest risk of psychological sub health was found in middle school students who were lack of physical activity and excessive sugar sweetened beverage consumption ( OR =2.59) ( P <0.01). Further analysis by school stages showed that junior high school students with sufficient physical activity and excessive intake of sugary drinks ( ROR =2.10), lack of physical activity and excessive intake of sugary drinks ( ROR =2.31) were at higher risks of psychological sub health than senior high school students( P <0.05).
Conclusions
Insufficient physical activity and excessive sugar sweetened beverage consumption are closely associated with an increased risk of psychological sub health among middle school students. Effective interventions should be targeted to reduce the risk of psychological sub health problems among middle school students.

Osteoporosis (OP) is a systemic metabolic disease with a strong correlation with age. The prevalence of osteoporosis is rising annually as a consequence of the growing issue of population ageing. The current treatments for OP have numerous shortcomings. In contrast, traditional Chinese medicine has a long history and a rich species diversity. Furthermore, recent years have seen an increase in the number of studies examining the anti-OP properties of traditional Chinese medicine. This may provide a safe and effective alternative strategy for the treatment of OP. The zebrafish, due to its favourable optical transparency and high homology with human genes, has been extensively employed as an animal research model in the investigation of human skeletal-related disease mechanisms and drug screening. This paper presents a review of anti-osteoporosis studies of traditional Chinese medicine using zebrafish as a model for osteoporosis. It also provides a summary of the experimental evaluation methods involved in such studies, an analysis of the current status of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of osteoporosis using zebrafish as a model, and a summary of the mechanism of action and the signalling pathways involved in traditional Chinese medicine in the anti-osteoporosis treatment of zebrafish. The current research status of Chinese medicine in the treatment of OP was analysed, as well as the mechanism of action of Chinese medicine against OP and the signalling pathways involved. Furthermore, the advantages and disadvantages of various zebrafish modelling methods of OP were compared with those of traditional animal models. The objective of this study is to provide a reference for the evaluation method of the zebrafish model in the study of bone-related diseases, as well as for the study of the mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine against OP and for the reference of the research and development of new drugs.

In recent years, the prevalence of porcine infectious pleuropneumonia caused by Actinoba-cillus pleuropneumoniae(APP)has significantly increased in large-scale pig farms in China. The i-solation,identification,and biological characteristic testing of newly prevalent strains have impor-tant clinical significance. This study isolated four suspected APP strains(named XB2T-56,JMTLP-443,YD-THB-755,SYZJ-291)from lung samples of pig farms suspected of outbreaks of porcine infectious pleuropneumonia in Hubei Province. They were identified by PCR amplification, and multiplex PCR serological typing, the biological properties were tested by detecting the growth a-bility,hemolytic activity and biofilm forming ability. The drug resistance of the strains was ana-lyzed by drug sensitivity testing, and the virulence of one strain(XB2T-56)in mice and piglets was evaluated. The PCR identification result showed that all four clinical isolates were APP serotype 15 strains. These four strains grew slower than serotype 1 standard strains, had weaker hemolytic activity, but could form stronger biofilms. These strains are all less sensitive to cephalosporin,tylo-sin,sulfamethoxazole,and doxycycline, but sensitive to cefotaxime and enrofloxacin. The mice and piglet infection experiments showed that the isolated strain XB2T-56 has strong virulence.Artifi-cial intranasal infection causes acute death in piglets, with typical symptoms of pleuropneumonia in the lungs, and serotype 15 strains can be isolated from the lesion site. This study indicates that the APP serotype 15 strain has strong virulence, providing new date for the clinical epidemiological characteristics of APP.

Objective:To investigate the differences in complications after transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) between patients with pure aortic regurgitation (PAR) and aortic valve stenosis (AS), and to explore the risk factors for the occurrence of major complications. Methods:Totally 124 patients who underwent TAVR at the First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College between October 2021 and January 2024 were retrospectively included. Patients were divided into the PAR group (64 cases) and AS group (60 cases) based on preoperative echocardiography findings. Preoperative clinical data, echocardiography, CT imaging data, and postoperative complications were collected. The differences between the two groups in postoperative complications and preoperative clinical data, imaging data were compared. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to assess the risk factors for major complications in the two groups, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed to evaluate the predictive efficacy of major risk factors for common postoperative complications in both groups. Results:The major complication in the PAR group was conduction disturbance (CD, 33 cases); the major complication in the AS group was perivalvular leakage (PVL, 41 cases). Comparison of preoperative data showed that in the PAR group, there were statistically significant differences in the shortest diameter of the membranous septum (MS) and the ratio of the shortest to longest MS diameter between patients with and without postoperative CD (both P<0.05). In the AS group, there were statistically significant differences in the long diameter of the aortic annulus, annular area, annular perimeter, and calcification score of the anchoring zone between patients with and without postoperative PVL (all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the shortest diameter of the MS was an independent risk factor for postoperative CD in PAR patients ( OR=0.628,95% CI 0.437-0.902, P=0.012), and the area under the ROC curve was 0.751 (95% CI 0.630-0.872, P=0.001). Meanwhile, the calcification score of the anchoring zone was an independent risk factor for postoperative PVL in AS patients ( OR=1.454,95% CI 1.055-2.003, P=0.022), and the area under the ROC curve was 0.740 (95% CI 0.601-0.879, P=0.003). Conclusions:After TAVR, complications differ between PAR and AS patients. CD is the major complication in PAR patients, with the shortest diameter of the MS being a risk factor. Conversely, PVL is the major complication in AS patients, with the calcification score of the anchoring zone identified as a risk factor.
