Objective:To establish the scoring standard of nasal swab collection technique for internal contamination, and to test its clinical effect, so as to standardize the nasal swab collection process and improve the medical rescue ability against nuclear radiation.Methods:The scoring standard of nasal swab collection technique for internal contamination was developed on the basis of literature research, expert consultation and pre-test. It was applied for training and assessment of 55 nurses, and the difference in scores before and after training was analyzed to test the application effect.Results:The effective response rate of expert inquiry questionnaire was 93.3%, the expert familiarity 0.914, the judgment basis 0.921, and the expert authority coefficient 0.917. Finally, the technical scoring standard for nasal swab collection for internal contamination was developed through three stages of preparation, sampling and arrangement. Through practical application, the score after training (94.98±2.84) was significantly better than that before training (81.37±10.45), with statistically significant difference ( t=8.63, P<0.05). Conclusions:The scoring standard of nasal swab collection technique for internal contamination, developed in this study, is reliable, innovative and practical. It is suitable for clinical practice and training and helpful to standardize the collection process and improve the rescue ability in a nuclear emergency.

This article summarized nursing experience of 7 cases of carotid body tumors treated by hybrid operation.Key points of nursing included:preoperative carotid compression training,postoperative blood pressure management,head and neck immobilization together with lower extremity immobilization,and prevention and nursing of complications.All patients were recovered and discharged.

Objective To identify the needs of home nursing of adult inpatients, and analyze the re-lated factors of the needs in order to give direction and information for the home care nursing. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the needs of home nursing of 172 adult inpatients. Results Of the 172 patients, 56(32.6%) patients considered the home care was necessary, and 66(38.4%) patients in an indifferent attitude,50(29.0%) patients thought it unnecessary. The need was positively related with the comprehension of home care. The need for home care of patients from different departments, age groups and subjective judgement of self-health had significant difference. Conclusions Home care are necessary for some kind of adult inpatients. We should perfect adult home care system and improve nursing level of community.

OBJECTIVE To probe into the new method to improve medical environment,and reduce hospital infection causing by the environmental factors.METHODS Using the nanometer photocatalysis technology clinically,to analyze the bacteriostatic effect of medical environment.RESULTS After use of the nanometer photocatalysis spraying material the surface sterilization effect was obvious on the three kinds of environmental objects.The withering away rate of bacterium on the object with total surface was 23.75-38.30%;the vertical surface bacterium withers away rate was 48.77-87.97%,the horizontal surface bacterium withers away rate was 12.50-77.20%,the air bacterium withering away rate was 1.52-60.00%.CONCLUSIONS The nanometer photocatalysis technology to sterilize and purify the medical environment has very good perspectives.

OBJECTIVE To confirm the clinical disinfection effect of acidity electrolyzed oxidizing water(AEOW).METHODS According to the standards of disinfection techniques supplied by Health Ministry of China,the disinfection effect of health care worker,object surfaces and medical apparatus and instrument were investigated.RESULTS The log reduction of the bacteria on the hands,object surfaces and medical instruments were more than 1.00.The number of the bacteria on the endoscopes were 0-2 CFU per piece on average.No pathogenic bacteria were detected out.The disinfection effect of each experimental group was qualified.CONCLUSIONS The field disinfection effect of AEOW is accepted.
