OBJECTIVE:
To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint thread-embedding therapy of regulating governor vessel, dispersing lung, and suppressing reflux for gastroesophageal reflux cough (GERC).
METHODS:
A total of 120 GERC patients were randomly assigned to an observation group (60 cases, 1 case dropped out) and a control group (60 cases, 1 case was eliminated). The observation group received acupoint thread-embedding treatment at positive response points of governor vessel. If no such points were detected, the following acupoints were used: Dazhui (GV14), Fenghu (Extra), Shendao (GV11), Lingtai (GV10), and Zhiyang (GV9). Treatment was administered once every two weeks. The control group received oral rabeprazole enteric capsules at 20 mg twice daily. All the treatment was given for 6 weeks. Clinical outcomes were assessed using cough symptom score, reflux disease questionnaire (RDQ) score, and Leicester cough questionnaire (LCQ) score before and after treatment in the two groups. Clinical efficacy was also compared between the two groups.
RESULTS:
After treatment, both groups showed decreased cough symptom scores and the each item scores and total scores of RDQ (P<0.001), and increased LCQ scores (P<0.001) compare with those before treatment. The observation group exhibited lower cough symptom score and chest pain, reflux and total score of RDQ, and higher LCQ score compared to those in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group was 94.9% (56/59), which was higher than 84.7% (50/59) in the control group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSION
Acupoint thread-embedding therapy of regulating governor vessel, dispersing lung, and suppressing reflux could effectively alleviate cough and reflux symptoms in patients with GERC and improve their quality of life.

Influenza imposes a significant disease burden on society and individuals annually, and influenza vaccination is considered a significant public health measure to prevent influenza and reduce influenza-related severe disease and death. The low influenza vaccination rate in China is partly due to certain factors affecting the willingness and behavior of individuals to receive them. Scientific research and targeted interventions on these factors can effectively improve the vaccination situation. Commonly used individual-level theoretical models for influenza vaccination behavior include the health belief model, protection motivation theory, and theory of planned behavior. This study reviews theoretical models commonly employed in researching influenza vaccination willingness and behavior. An overview of these practical applications and challenges models is presented to provide references for relevant research and intervention programs in China.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2024;40(1):169-174
Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is one of the common complications during the natural course of liver cirrhosis and has an important influence on the progression of liver cirrhosis. This article mainly summarizes the research advances in the risk factors for PVT. There are many risk factors for PVT, and Virchow’s triad, namely venous stasis, hypercoagulability, and vascular endothelial injury and systemic inflammation caused by surgery or trauma, are considered the main reasons for the development and progression of PVT. At present, more prospective studies are still needed to validate the predictive models for the risk of PVT that have certain application prospects in clinical practice. Cirrhotic patients with PVT tend to have a poor prognosis, and complete obstructive PVT is associated with increased mortality after liver transplantation. Recent studies have shown that prophylactic anticoagulant therapy is safe and effective in patients with liver cirrhosis and can thus help with the prevention and treatment of PVT.

Objective:To investigate the current situation of community nursing needs of patients with middle and advanced Parkinson ′s disease, analyze the factors affecting the demand, and further explore the possible pathways of action between the factors, so as to provide the basis for formulating targeted community intervention measures in a more comprehensive way. Methods:A cross-sectional survey of 242 patients with middle and advanced Parkinson ′s disease from the Second Hospital Affiliated to the Army Medical University from November 2022 to January 2023 were selected by convenience sampling method, and the Community Care Need Scale, General Data Questionnaire, Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale, Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire and the Self-management Effectiveness Questionnaire of Parkinson ′s disease patients were used. SPSS 26.0 was used to analyze the data, and investigated the relationship between readiness for hospital discharge, self-management efficacy, active coping styles, and community nursing needs. Results:A total of 234 valid questionnaires were collected, including 108 males and 126 females, aged 39-93 (67.25±8.93) years. The average score of all dimensions from high to low was: disease treatment dimension (4.16±0.42), daily care dimension (4.05±0.97), fall prevention dimension (4.04±0.80), extended care dimension (3.95±0.65), emotional support dimension (3.77±0.65) and self function (3.75±0.72). Univariate analysis indicated that there were statistically significant differences in community nursing needs scores among middle and advanced Parkinson ′s disease patients with different educational level and different family income ( F=5.11, 3.05, both P<0.05). Readiness for hospital discharge, self-management efficacy and positive coping style were negatively correlated with community nursing needs of patients with middle and advanced Parkinson′s disease ( r=-0.567, -0.412, -0.398, all P<0.01), and self-management efficacy and positive coping style played a partial mediating role between readiness for hospital discharge and community nursing needs. Conclusions:There is a wide range of community nursing needs that patients with middle and advanced Parkinson ′s disease, and patients with primary school and below, high school and above, and low family income are higher. It is suggested that the community disease management process should focus on this group of people. Medical institutions should help patients with middle and advanced Parkinson ′s disease improve their ability to manage the disease by improving discharge preparation services, so that they can smoothly transition from hospital to home, thereby reducing the needs for community nursing.

We analyzed the epidemiological characteristics of the 2019-nCoV infection in children and adolescents and compared the epidemiological characteristics of the cases at different epidemic stages.Result:A total of 63 916 indigenous 2019-nCoV infection cases in children and adolescents were reported in China from April 29, 2020 to May 31, 2022, in which 14 777 (23.12%) were confirmed cases and 49 139 (76.88%) were asymptomatic cases. An obvious incidence peak (40 864 cases) was observed in April, 2022, and two sub-peaks were observed in January, 2020 and January, 2021, respectively. The 2019-nCoV infection cases occurred in 187 cities above prefecture level in 30 provinces, the cases reported in Shanghai (41 562 cases), Changchun (5 753 cases) and Jilin (3 888 cases) accounted for 80.11% of the total cases (51 203/63 916). The proportion of the cases in males was 54.34%. The age of the cases, M ( Q1, Q3) was 10 (5, 14) years, and 57.73% of the cases were 6 - 15 years old. The cases in students accounted for the highest proportion (56.14%). The interval between illness onset and diagnosis of confirmed cases, M ( Q1, Q3) was 1 (0, 2) days. Among the 2019-nCoV infection cases in children and adolescents, 76.88% were asymptomatic, 21.78% were mild ones, 1.32% were moderately severe ones, 0.02% were severe ones, and there were no critical cases and deaths. Compared with other age groups, the proportion of severe or critical cases was higher in children aged <1 year (0.12%). The proportion of asymptomatic infections was highest in Omicron variant epidemic (78.43%). Conclusion:The 2019-nCoV infection cases in children and adolescents aged <18 years in 31 provinces in China were mainly primary and secondary school students aged 6-15 years. Most cases were asymptomatic and mild ones with low clinical severity. It is still necessary to strengthen the surveillance for 2019-nCoV infection in children and adolescents to improve the prevention and control of COVID-19 in school age children.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2017;33(2):168-173
Objective:To investigate the surface characterization, cell adhension and proliferation of ultrafine grained titanium (UFG Ti) after different sand blasting and acid-etching(SLA).Methods:The billets of UFG Ti and commercially pure titanium Ti(CP Ti) were incised into cylindrical specimens with 7 mm in diameter and 2 mm in height. The specimens were sand blasted at the air pressure of 0.2,0.4,0.6 and 0.8 MPa respectively(n =10) and then acid-etched.The surface morphology, roughness and surface wettability of the specimens were examined.Rat embryo osteoblasts MC3T3-E1 were cultured on the speciments for 1 d,3 d and 5 d respectively, the cell morphology and cell density were observed. Results:The different hierarchical porous topographies were formed on the surface of UFG and CP Ti after modified by SLA.The sizes of blasted holes on the surface and the surface roughness of both materials increased with the increase of blast pressure, but the values of UFG Ti were lower than those of CP Ti correspondingly(P < 0.05).The surface wettability of them was also changed with the blast pressure, but the values of UFG Ti was significantly smaller than those of CP Ti(P < 0.05).When the blast pressure was 0.6 Mpa,the UFG Ti exhibited excellent wettability, the cell density was the highest, the morphology of MC3T3-E1 cells on UFG Ti was superior to that on CP Ti.Conclusion:UFG Ti exhibits proper surface morphology, roughness and excellent wettability, which is more appropriate for adhension and proliferation of MC3T3-E1 cells after modification by SLA at blast pressure of 0.6 Mpa.
