In 2022， Hainan provincial government launched the project for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis with the goals of a hepatitis B screening rate of 90%， a diagnostic rate of 90%， and a treatment rate of 80% among people aged 18 years and above by the year 2025， and the main intervention measures include population-based prevention， case screening， antiviral therapy， and health management. As of December 31， 2024， a total of 6.875 million individuals in the general population had been screened for hepatitis B， with a screening rate of 95.6%. A total of 184 710 individuals with positive HBsAg were identified， among whom 156 772 were diagnosed through serological reexamination， resulting in a diagnostic rate of 84.9%. A total of 50 742 patients with chronic hepatitis B were identified， among whom 42 921 had hepatitis B-specific health records established for health management， with a file establishment rate of 84.6%. A total of 31 553 individuals received antiviral therapy， with a treatment rate of 62.2%. A total of 2.503 million individuals at a high risk of hepatitis C were screened， among whom 4 870 tested positive for HCV antibody and 3 858 underwent HCV RNA testing， resulting in a diagnostic rate of 79.2%， and 1 824 individuals with positive HCV RNA were identified， among whom 1 194 received antiviral therapy， with a treatment rate of 65.5%. In addition， 159 301 individuals with negative HBsAg and anti-HBs and an age of 20 — 40 years were inoculated with hepatitis B vaccine free of charge. Through the implementation of the project for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis， a large number of hepatitis patients have been identified， treated， and managed in the province within a short period of time， which significantly accelerates the efforts to eliminate the crisis of viral hepatitis.

Objective: To understand the association of physical exercise willingness and insomnia with depressive symptoms among college students, so as to provide reference for improving depressive symptoms of college students. Methods: From October 2022 to April 2023, cluster sampling was used to recruit 11 101 college students from four colleges in Anhui Province. The questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the willingness to engage in physical exercise, insomnia and depressive symptoms of college students. The multivariate Logistic regression model was used to analyze the association of physical exercise willingness and insomnia with depressive symptoms of college students. Results: The prevalence of depressive symptoms among college students was 9.24%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that college students who were passive participants/non participants in physical activity, or who experienced insomnia, had a higher likelihood of depressive symptoms compared to those who were active participants or did not experience insomnia ( OR =1.84, 2.07, 4.02, all P <0.01). College students who were passive participants or non participants in physical activity and concurrently experienced insomnia had a higher risk of depressive symptoms compared with those who were active participants or did not experience insomnia ( OR =1.87-8.39, all P <0.01). Gender stratified analysis showed that the combined effect of passive physical exercise and insomnia increased the risk of depressive symptoms in both male ( OR = 1.81 -9.87) and female college students ( OR =1.67-7.39) (all P <0.05). Conclusions Both physical exercise willingness and insomnia are associated with depressive symptoms in college students. In order to improve the depressive symptoms of college students, it is necessary to improve the enthusiasm of physical exercise and strengthen the education of sleep health awareness.

Objective: To investigate the assocation of sedentary behavior among college students on psychological health issues, such as depressive, anxiety, and stress symptoms, and to analyze the moderating role of takeaway consumption behavior in the context, in order to provide a scientific basis for reducing emotional symptoms among college students. Methods: A stratified cluster sampling method was employed to conduct a questionnaire on 3 427 first year students of a higher education institution in Hefei of Anhui Province from May to June 2021. The study variables included demographic characteristics, sedentary time, takeaway consumption behavior, and emotional (symptoms depressive, anxiety, and stress symptoms). The Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the association between variables, and linear regression analysis was used to analyze the association between takeaway consumption behavior and depressive, anxiety and stress symptoms among college students with sedentary time. Results: Both sedentary time and takeaway consumption behavior were positively correlated with depressive, anxiety and stress symptoms among college students ( r =0.10, 0.10, 0.10; 0.10, 0.11, 0.11, all P <0.05). The results of linear regression analysis showed that the interaction term between takeaway consumption behavior and sedentary time was positively correlated with symptoms of depressive, anxiety, and stress symptoms among college students (depression: β =0.04, anxiety: β =0.04, stress: β =0.04, all P <0.05). The results of the simple slope test demonstrated that regardless of the level of takeaway consumption behavior, sedentary time was positively correlated with the depressive symptoms of college students; compared with low takeaway consumption behavior, high takeaway consumption behavior ( β=0.77, P <0.01) enhanced the association between sedentary time and depressive symptoms among college students. In addition, under the condition of high takeaway consumption behavior, sedentary time was positively correlated with the anxiety and stress symptoms of college students (anxiety: β =0.64; stress: β =0.71, both P <0.01); while under the condition of low takeaway consumption behavior, sedentary time was not related to the anxiety and stress symptoms of college students ( β =0.17, 0.22, both P >0.05). Conclusions Sedentary behavior is related to a the emotional symptoms of depressive, anxiety, and stress among college students. Takeaway consumption behavior may exacerbate this impact.

Objective: To analyze the correlation and gender differences between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and positive childhood experiences (PCEs) and depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students, so as to provide a reference for promoting the mental health of middle school students. Methods: With a stratified random cluster sampling method, a total of 6 656 middle school students in 4 cities, including Nanchang, Shenyang, Taiyuan, and Zhengzhou, were selected as research subjects from October 2021 to October 2022. The Adverse Childhood Experiences International Questionnaire (ACEs-IQ), Benevolent Childhood Experiences Scale (BCEs), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and Generalized Anxiety Disorders-7 (GAD-7) scale were used to conduct questionnaire surveys.The Chi square test was used to compare the reporting rates of depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students in different groups, and a Logistic regression model was established to analyze the effects of ACEs and PCEs on depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students and their gender differences. Results: The reporting rate of depressive symptoms among middle school students was 20.1%, and the reporting rate of anxiety symptoms was 13.9% . ACEs were positively correlated with depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students (depression symptoms: OR =1.20, 95% CI =1.18-1.22, anxiety symptoms: OR =1.18, 95% CI =1.16-1.20), while PCEs were negatively correlated with depression and anxiety symptoms among middle school students(depression symptoms: OR =0.84, 95% CI = 0.83 -0.86, anxiety symptoms: OR =0.85, 95% CI =0.83-0.87) ( P <0.05). In the general population (depression symptoms ： OR =0.99, 95% CI = 0.98- 0.99, anxiety symptoms: OR =0.99, 95% CI =0.99-1.00) and among girls (depression symptoms: OR = 0.98 , 95% CI = 0.97- 0.99 , anxiety symptoms ： OR =0.99, 95% CI =0.98-1.00), the interaction term between ACEs and PCEs were negatively correlated with depression and anxiety symptoms ( P <0.05). Conclusions ACEs significantly affect the depression and anxiety symptoms of middle school students, while PCEs can help reduce the impact of ACEs on the depression and anxiety symptoms of middle school students, girls are more susceptible to the impact of early experiences than boys. It should focus on gender differences, formulate comprehensive mental health protection strategies, to promote the mental health development of middle school students.

The incidence of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral fracture (OTLVF) in the elderly is gradually increasing. The kyphotic deformity caused by various factors has become an important characteristic of OTLVF and has received increasing attention. Its clinical manifestations include pain, delayed nerve damage, sagittal imbalance, etc. Currently, the definition and diagnosis of OTLVF with kyphotic deformity in the elderly are still unclear. Although there are many treatment options, they are controversial. Existing guidelines or consensuses pay little attention to this type of fracture with kyphotic deformity. To this end, the Lumbar Education Working Group of the Spine Branch of the Chinese Medicine Education Association and Editorial Committee of Chinese Journal of Trauma organized the experts in the relevant fields to jointly develop Clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral fractures with kyphotic deformity in the elderly ( version 2024), based on evidence-based medical advancements and the principles of scientificity, practicality, and advanced nature, which provided 18 recommendations to standardize the clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective:To examine the efficacy of uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in the treatment of tuberculous destroyed lung.Methods:This is a retrospective case series study. The clinical data of 33 patients with tuberculous destroyed lung who had received uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic pulmonary resection from June 2020 to May 2022 in Department of Surgery, Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. There were 13 males and 20 females, aged (47.5±16.2) years (range: 19 to 68 years). The course of the disease was from 15 days to 8 years. All 33 cases had pleural adhesions, including 30 cases with total pleural adhesions and atresia. There were 21 cases of calcification of the thoracic lymph node, 17 cases of aspergillus infection, 4 cases of drug-resistant tuberculosis. The surgical incision was located at the midline of the fifth intercostal axilla, length 4 to 5 cm. The principle of separating pleural adhesions was easy first and difficult later, and then appropriate procedures were selected to resect the diseased lung based on the exploration situation. There were 12 cases that underwent superior lobectomy, 11 cases that underwent superior lobectomy and dorsal segmentectomy, 3 cases that underwent inferior lobectomy, 3 cases that underwent pneumonectomy, 2 cases that underwent middle and inferior lobectomy, and 1 case that underwent superior lobectomy, dorsal segmentectomy and basal segment wedgectomy. The surgical techniques, perioperative evaluation and treatment, management of complications, and the outcome were summarized.Results:Six cases were converted to thoracoscope assisted small incision or thoracotomy. For 27 cases who successfully underwent uniportal VATS, the operation time was (238.7±76.8) minutes (range: 60 to 420 minutes), the intraoperative bleeding was (400.4±315.9) ml (range: 50 to 1 200 ml). The duration of postoperative drainage was (12.7±8.3) days (range: 3 to 42 days). The postoperative hospital stay was (15.2±7.9) days (range: 6 to 43 days). Persistent postoperative pulmonary leakage occurred in 12 cases. There were 2 cases of active thoracic bleeding, one of which was cured with conservative treatment. The other case underwent secondary operation. One case of bronchopleural fistula was cured after continuous thoracic drainage to control infection and implantation of one-way bronchial valve through a fiberoptic bronchoscope.Conclusion:For selected patients with tuberculous destroyed lung, choosing the reasonable surgical procedures and techniques, the uniportal VATS could reduce surgical trauma.

Objective To detect and analyze the expression levels of serum microRNA(miR)-455 and miR-383 in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),and to explore their clinical diagnostic value.Methods A total of 98 NSCLC patients in our hospital from March 2020 to January 2023 were regarded as the NSCLC group,98 patients with benign lung diseases admitted during the same period were regarded as the benign lung disease group,and another 98 healthy volunteers who underwent physical examination in our hospital during the same period were collected as the health group.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)method was applied to detect the expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 in serum.Pearson was applied to analyze the correlation between serum miR-455 expression level and miR-383 level in NSCLC patients;multivariate Logistic regression and ROC curve was applied to analyze the influencing factors and diagnostic value of NSCLC occurrence.Results The expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 in the serum of the healthy group,benign lung disease group,and NSCLC group decreased sequentially.Pearson analysis showed there was a positive correlation between serum miR-455 expression level and miR-383 level in NSCLC patients(r=0.582,P＜0.05).Logistic analysis found that low expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 were risk factors for the occurrence of NSCLC(P＜0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of NSCLC diagnosed by the combination of miR-455 and miR-383 was obviously higher than that diagnosed by miR-455 alone(Z=3.604,P=0.000)and miR-383 alone(Z=2.594,P=0.010).Conclusion The relative expression levels of miR-455 and miR-383 in serum of NSCLC patients are obviously down-regulated.The combined detection of the two has high diagnostic value for NSCLC.

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a devastating disease characterized by an inflammatory disorder of the pancreas. P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 (PSGL-1) plays a crucial role in the initial steps of the adhesive at process to inflammatory sites, blockade of PSGL-1 might confer potent anti-inflammatory effects. In this study, we generated two non-human primate derived monoclonal antibodies capable of efficiently targeting human PSGL-1, RH001-6 and RH001-22, which were screened from immunized rhesus macaques. We found that RH001-6, can effectively block the binding of P-selectin to PSGL-1, and abolish the adhesion of leukocytes to endothelial cells in vitro. In vivo, we verified that RH001-6 relieved inflammatory responses and pancreatic injury in both caerulein and l-arginine induced AP models. We also evaluated the safety profile after RH001-6 treatment in mice, and verified that RH001-6 did not cause any significant pathological damages in vivo. Taken together, we developed a novel non-human primate derived PSGL-1 blocking antibody with high-specificity, named RH001-6, which can interrupt the binding of PSGL-1 and P-selectin and attenuate inflammatory responses during AP. Therefore, RH001-6 is highly potential to be further developed into therapeutics against acute inflammatory diseases, such as AP.

ObjectiveTo explore the inhibitory effect of water extract of Broussonetiae Fructus on hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） induced by diethyl nitrosamine （DEN） in mice based on homologous phosphatase and tensin homolog/phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B （PTEN/PI3K/Akt） signaling pathway. MethodThe primary HCC mouse model was constructed by intraperitoneal injection of DEN solution， and the HCC mice were randomly divided into model group， sorafenib group （0.01 g·kg^-1·d^-1）， low-dose Broussonetiae Fructus water extract group （0.9 g·kg^-1·d^-1）， medium-dose Broussonetiae Fructus water extract group （1.8 g·kg^-1·d^-1）， and high-dose Broussonetiae Fructus water extract group （3.6 g·kg^-1·d^-1）， with 10 mice in each group. Another 10 C57BL/6 mice were selected as a control group and intraperitoneally injected with an equal volume of normal saline. Mice were treated with different concentrations of Broussonetiae Fructus water extract when liver cancer-like white nodules appeared. sorafenib group was treated with sorafenib. The control group and model group were intraperitoneally injected with normal saline. The activities of alkaline phosphatase （ALP）， aspartate aminotransferase （AST）， alanine aminotransferase （ALT）， and γ-glutamyl transferase （γ-GT） in the serum of mice were detected by the biochemical analyzer. The expression levels of alpha-fetoprotein （AFP） and carcinoembryonic antigen （CEA） were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. The degree of hepatocyte canceration and hepatocyte injury were observed by Hematoxylin-eosin （HE） and Masson staining. The proliferation of HCC cells was observed by immunohistochemical staining. The apoptosis of HCC cells in mice was observed by erminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated nick end labelling （TUNEL） staining. The expression levels of PTEN， PI3K， Akt， and p-Akt proteins related to the PTEN/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway were detected by Western blot. ResultCompared with the control group， the activities of ALP， AST， ALT， and γ-GT， as well as the expression levels of AFP and CEA in the model group were significantly increased （P<0.01）. Carcinogenesis and inflammatory cell infiltration were obvious in liver tissue of mice， and a large number of blue collagen fiber hyperplasia was found. The number of Ki67 positive cells was significantly increased （P<0.01）， and the expression level of PTEN protein was significantly decreased， while PI3K and p-Akt protein expression was increased （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， the activities of ALP， AST， ALT， and γ-GT， as well as the expression levels of AFP and CEA in the medium-dose and high-dose Broussonetiae Fructus water extract groups were significantly decreased （P<0.05， P<0.01）. The degree of carcinogenesis and inflammatory cell infiltration in liver tissue were reduced， and the collagen fiber hyperplasia was significantly reduced. The number of Ki67 positive cells was significantly decreased， and the number of TUNEL positive apoptotic cells was significantly increased （P<0.05， P<0.01）. PTEN protein expression was increased， while p-Akt protein expression was significantly decreased （P<0.05， P<0.01）. ConclusionThe water extract of Broussonetiae Fructus has a significant inhibitory effect on DEN-induced primary HCC in mice， and its mechanism may be related to the regulation of key protein expressions in the PTEN/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway.
