HDAC7, a member of class IIa HDACs, plays a pivotal regulatory role in tumor, immune, fibrosis, and angiogenesis, rendering it a potential therapeutic target. Nevertheless, due to the high similarity in the enzyme active sites of class IIa HDACs, inhibitors encounter challenges in discerning differences among them. Furthermore, the substitution of key residue in the active pocket of class IIa HDACs renders them pseudo-enzymes, leading to a limited impact of enzymatic inhibitors on their function. In this study, proteolysis targeting chimera (PROTAC) technology was employed to develop HDAC7 drugs. We developed an exceedingly selective HDAC7 PROTAC degrader B14 which showcased superior inhibitory effects on cell proliferation compared to TMP269 in various diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. Subsequent investigations unveiled that B14 disrupts BCL6 forming a transcriptional inhibition complex by degrading HDAC7, thereby exerting proliferative inhibition in DLBCL. Our study broadened the understanding of the non-enzymatic functions of HDAC7 and underscored the importance of HDAC7 in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, particularly in DLBCL and AML.

Guided by ZHANG Jiebin's "water-fire of life gate theory"， this paper explored the etiology， pathoge-nesis， and syndrome differentiation-based treatment approach for esophageal cancer. It is proposed that the core pathogenesis of esophageal cancer， derived from the imbalanced state of water and fire in life gate， can be summarized into three manifestations. Firstly， decline of life gate fire leads to failure of qi transformation and accumulation of phlegm and blood stasis； secondly， fire fails to warm the earth resulting in dysfunctional ascending and descending， and qi stagnation and blood stasis； thirdly， deficiency of life gate water contributs to proliferation of cancerous toxins and physical deterioration. In terms of treatment， guided by ZHANG's treatment principles for dysphagia， three treatment methods are proposed， warming and tonifying kidney yang to promote qi transformation through steaming action， warming and nourishing the spleen and stomach to restore central pivot movement， and nourishing kidney water to replenish essence and blood， then support bodily nourishment. Clinical case examples are provided to illustrate the application of these methods.

The Chinese Academy of Medical Science (CAMS) Cancer Hospital has a distinctive red gene trait. For more than 60 years since its establishment, through the protection of the red gene inheritance carrier, the enrichment of the content and expression form of the red gene inheritance, and the exploration and demonstration of the role model in the red gene inheritance, it has always integrated the red gene inheritance into the whole process of hospital construction, development and spiritual culture cultivation, and has achieved remarkable results, accumulated rich practical experience, and provided a useful reference for the spiritual and cultural construction of public hospitals.

In recent years, it has been found that reactive astrocytes (RAS) can affect the pathological process of AD through various mechanisms, such as increasing the production and deposition of β-amyloid (Aβ), aggravating the neurotoxicity of Aβ and disturbance of neurotransmitter release. Currently, the mechanism of drug treatment for AD is mainly targeted at clearance of Aβ, but the efficacy is still uncertain. Recent studies have shown that most AD-related genes are obviously expressed in RAS. Therefore, regulating the morphology and function of RAS through drug intervention may provide new ideas for treatment of AD. The authors review the research status in the molecular mechanism of RAS in the progress and treatment of AD, in order to provide more references for RAS as a target in the prevention and treatment of AD.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of standardized blood pressure measurement in consulting room （SBPM） model on blood pressure screening of non-hypertensive patients in community. MethodsFour communities were randomly selected from Fengxian District of Shanghai， and non-hypertensive patients in the communities were included for screening. Based on the communities， participants were further classified into the intervention group and control group. A one-year intervention study was conducted from January 1， 2021 to December 31， 2021. The intervention group received the intervention measures of standardized measurement， and the control group remained the routine measurement. The distribution of blood pressure values and last digit of the values between the intervention group and control group were tested using Chi-square test and normality test. Then changes in abnormal blood pressure rate before and after the intervention were determined by double difference method. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 20.0. ResultsA total of 15 368 participants were included in the intervention group， and 19 811 participants in the control group. After the intervention， range of the last digit of blood pressure values in the intervention group was 9.55%‒10.41%， of which that of systolic and diastolic blood pressure were equally distributed （P=0.932 and 0.871， respectively）. The range of the last digit in the control group was 1.31%‒42.58%， of which that of systolic and diastolic blood pressure showed unequal distribution （P<0.001）. Through one-year standardized measurement intervention， the abnormal rate of blood pressure in the intervention group was 26.29%， which was 7.61 times as high as that in the control group （OR=7.55， 95%CI： 6.75‒8.57， P<0.001）. ConclusionStandardized blood pressure measurement in consulting room is suitable for the screening of blood pressure measurement in community， which has higher data quality than that of routine measurement.

In recent years, IgA nephropathy and Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura nephritis attract more and more attention on their unclear pathogenesis, single diagnostic criteria, long duration and poor prognosis, etc. Research suggests that IgA nephropathy and purpura nephritis are IgA immune complex related diseases, and serum galactose-deficient is elevated in patients with these two dis-eases, which might become a noninvasive biomarker for the diagnosis, prognosis prediction and disease development monitoring for IgA nephropathy and purpura nephritis. Galactose-deficient IgA1 is reviewed for its discovery, structure, process, the possible patho-genic mechanism and its significance in details in this paper.

We reported a rare case of protoplasmic astrocytoma presenting small muscle atrophy of the right hand as an initial sign.A 39-year-old male was admitted to hospital complaining of chronic muscle atrophy and subtle headache.Electromyography(EMG) showed brief small denervation and no signs of sensory-motor conduction impairment.CT and MRI revealed multiply expansive intracranial lesion in left hemisphere,which was highly suspected of cerebral echinococccus or Balo disease.The patient underwent surgical excision and pathological report was protoplasmic astrocytoma,with glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP,+++) of immunohistochemical method.We reviewed clinical features,radiological manifestations and pathology of protoplasmic astrocytoma with medical literature documents.
