Objective To investigate the relationship between symptom burden and nutritional status under Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) constitution classification in patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methods Data on the physical constitution, symptom burden, and nutritional status of 640 patients with malignant tumors within the 21st–28th days of chemotherapy treatment were collected and analyzed. Results Symptom burden was found to have a positive correlation with nutritional risk and TCM bias (except for idiosyncrasies), suggesting that constitution bias may be an important internal factor for the aggravation of clinical symptoms and malnutrition in patients with cancer. Conclusion The relationship between symptom burden and nutritional status in chemotherapy under the guidance of TCM constitution can be studied to predict the nutritional status and symptom burden of patients after chemotherapy to guide the symptom and nutritional management of patients with cancer in the chemotherapy stage.

ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and mechanisms of Sini San in the treatment of depression and liver injury based on gut microbiota. MethodsThirty-two male Sprague-Dawley （SD） rats were randomly divided into a normal group， model group （M）， Sini San group （MS， 2.5 g·kg^-1）， and fluoxetine group （MF， 2 mg·kg^-1）. Except for the normal group， rats in the other three groups were subjected to chronic unpredictable mild stress （CUMS）. After 8 weeks， the open-field test and sucrose preference test were conducted. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） was used to detect serum corticosterone （CORT）， adrenocorticotropic hormone （ACTH）， corticotropin-releasing factor （CRF）， lipopolysaccharide （LPS）， Zonulin， interleukin-6 （IL-6）， tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α）， interleukin-1β （IL-1β）， γ-aminobutyric acid （GABA） levels in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex， and brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF） levels in the hippocampus. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction （Real-time PCR） was used to detect hippocampal BDNF mRNA expression. Serum alanine aminotransferase （ALT） and aspartate aminotransferase （AST） levels were measured using the ultraviolet lactate dehydrogenase method. The ultrastructure of the intestinal epithelium was observed by electron microscopy， and gut microbiota in rat feces were analyzed using 16S rDNA high-throughput sequencing. ResultsCompared with the normal group， the sucrose preference of rats in the model group was significantly reduced （P0.01）， whereas it was significantly increased in the Sini San group compared with the model group （P0.05）. Compared with the normal group， hippocampal GABA protein levels and BDNF mRNA expression in the model group were significantly decreased （P0.05）， and compared with the model group， both were significantly increased in the Sini San group （P0.05， P0.01）. Compared with the normal group， serum LPS and Zonulin levels in the model group were significantly increased （P0.05， P0.01）， and compared with the model group， Zonulin levels in the Sini San group were significantly decreased （P0.05）. No obvious changes were observed in the ultrastructure of the jejunal mucosa among groups. Compared with the normal group， widened and blurred tight junctions， sparse and shortened microvilli， and mitochondrial swelling with cristae disruption in epithelial cells were observed in the ileal and colonic mucosa of the model group， which were markedly improved in the Sini San and fluoxetine groups. The results of 16S rDNA high-throughput sequencing showed that Sini San improved CUMS-induced dysbiosis of Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria. Correlation analysis indicated that Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria were significantly correlated with depression-related indicators， liver function， and intestinal mucosal permeability. ConclusionSini San exerts antidepressant and hepatoprotective effects by improving Bacteroidetes and Proteobacteria and inhibiting the increase in intestinal mucosal permeability in CUMS rats.

ObjectiveTo investigate the expression level of mammalian sterile 20-like kinase 1 （MST1） in prostate cancer （PCa） tissues， its biological functions， and its regulatory effects on androgen receptor （AR） and vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF） expression. MethodsImmunohistochemistry was performed to detect MST1 expression in 77 prostate cancer tissues and 34 benign prostatic hyperplasia （BPH） tissues， and the relationship between MST1 expression and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed. MST1-overexpressing C4-2 and LNCaP cell lines were constructed. CCK-8 assay， Transwell migration assay， and angiogenesis assay were conducted to evaluate the effects of MST1 on cell proliferation， migration， and angiogenesis. The expression changes of AR and VEGF were detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot. ResultsMST1 expression was significantly lower in PCa tissues compared with BPH tissues （P=0.012）. Low MST1 expression was significantly associated with tumor metastasis （P=0.033）. MST1 overexpression inhibited C4-2 cell proliferation and migration， with transmembrane migrated cells reduced by 53.6% （P<0.01）. MST1 overexpression decreased the mRNA and protein expression levels of AR and VEGF （P<0.05）. Angiogenesis assay demonstrated that the length of new vessel structure was significantly reduced （P<0.05）. ConclusionMST1 shows a low expression level in PCa tissues and is associated with tumor metastasis. MST1 exerts tumor-suppressive effects in prostate cancer by inhibiting cell proliferation， migration， and angiogenesis， as well as downregulating the expression of AR and VEGF， indicating its potential as a therapeutic target for prostate cancer.

Objective To explore the research hotspots and development trends in the field of cancer treatment in the past decade. Methods The CNKI and Web of Science Core Collection databases were searched for Chinese and English articles related to cancer treatment published over the last 10 years. Bibliometric research methods were employed, including keyword cluster analysis of published literature. Results A total of 45 455 Chinese articles and 866 958 English articles were retrieved. Combining the visualization analysis results and the current research dilemma of tumor treatment revealed that the current research hotspots of tumor treatment domestically and internationally can primarily focus on four key areas. In the realm of targeted therapy, efforts are directed towards the discovery of new drug targets, overcoming resistance to targeted therapy, and the development of monoclonal antibodies and antibody–drug conjugates. In the field of immunotherapy, the emphasis lies in enhancing the response rate to immune checkpoint inhibitors, determining the mechanisms behind resistance to immunotherapy, and improving the safety of treatment. The research in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) covers evidence-based evaluation studies on TCM treatment, the identification of populations that can gain the most benefit from TCM, and strategies for improving the quality of life. In the area of novel drug development, cutting-edge technologies, such as organoid-based screening for anticancer drugs, synthetic biology, and artificial intelligence, are under investigation. Conclusion New targeted drugs, immune efficacy improvement, multidisciplinary integration, nano-delivery, and TCM innovation are the key research directions in the field of tumor therapy in the future.

Objective: To understand the moderating effect of cohabitation with parents on the association between peer dating behavior and sexual behaviors among secondary vocational school students, so as to provide a scientific basis for preventing sexual behaviors among secondary vocational school students. Methods: From March to April 2021, an electronic questionnaire survey was conducted among 3 180 students from 6 vocational schools in Shanghai (urban, suburban, exurban) and Shaanxi (Shangluo, Ankang, Baoji) using cluster sampling. Spearman correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationship of cohabitation with parents, peer dating behavior and sexual behaviors among secondary vocational school students. Binary Logistic regression analysis was performed to investigate the role of cohabitation with parents on peer dating behavior and sexual behaviors among secondary vocational students. Results: There was a significant negative between cohabitation with parents and sexual ( r =-0.04); and there was a positive correlation between peer dating behavior and sexual behaviors ( r =0.24), as well as cohabitation with parents and peer dating behavior ( r =0.04)( P <0.05). Multivariable Logistic regression analysis showed an association between peer dating behavior and the occurrence of sexual behaviors ( OR=2.79-12.95, P <0.05). Cohabitation with parents played a moderating role in the association between peer dating behavior and sexual behaviors, and a signification interaction was found between cohabitation with parents and reporting that a small part or about half of their peers had dating behavior ( OR =0.48, P <0.05). Conclusions The more peers dating behavior are associated with a higher risk of sexual behaviors among secondary vocational school students, and cohabitation with parents can partly reduce this risk. School and family sexuality education for secondary vocational students should be strengthened to improve their interpersonal skills and decision-making, and ability to resist peer pressure, so as to reduce their risk of sexual behaviors.

Objective To analyze the disease burden,changing trends,and differences of atrial fibrillation(AF)/atrial flutter(AFL)globally and in China and Japan from 1990 to 2021,and to predict their future trends,aiming to provide references for health decision-making.Methods Based on the Global Burden of Disease Study Database 2021(GBD 2021),we extracted age-standardized prevalence rate(ASPR)and age-standardized disability-adjusted life year rate(ASDALYR)data for AF/AFL by sex globally,in China,and Japan.The estimated annual percentage change(EAPC)was used to assess the trends.Joinpoint regression analysis and the Bayesian age-period-cohort(BAPC)model were employed for trend analysis and prediction.Results From 1990 to 2021,the ASPR and ASDALYR for AF/AFL in males were increased significantly globally,with EAPC of 0.05(95%CI:0.01～0.08)and 0.09(95%CI:0.08～0.11),respectively.Changes were significantly declined in females,with EAPC of-0.11(95%CI:-0.14～-0.07)and-0.10(95%CI:-0.12～-0.07).In China,the ASPR for AF/AFL were increased in both males and females,with those of males more notably(EAPC=0.77,95%CI:0.65～0.88).However,the ASDALYR for AF/AFL showed gender divergence,with an increase in males(EAPC=0.40,95%CI:0.30～0.49)while a decrease in females(EAPC=-0.55,95%CI:-0.67～-0.44).In Japan,both the ASPR and ASDALYR for males and females showed continuous declines,and the reduction was more pronounced among females(ASPR EAPC=-1.77,95%CI:-2.32～-1.22;ASDALYR EAPC=-1.73,95%CI:-2.11～-1.35).Joinpoint regression analysis showed that from 1990 to 2021,for the ASDALYR of AF/AFL,the average annual percentage change(AAPC)was 0.28%(P<0.001)for Chinese males and-0.37%(P<0.001)for Chinese females,while the AAPC was-0.70%(P<0.001)and-1.43%(P<0.001)for Japanese males and females.BAPC model revealed that by 2036,the ASDALYR for Chinese males is predicted to increase from 91.45 per 100 000 in 2022 to 101.11 per 100 000,and for females is from 88.85 per 100 000 to 100.98 per 100 000.For Japanese males,the ASDALYR is projected to increase slightly from 88.79 to 89.86 per 100 000,while for females,it is projected decrease slightly from 41.13 to 39.67 per 100 000,indicating only minor fluctuations in the ASDALYR for both Japanese males and females.Conclusion The disease burden of AF/AFL continues to increase globally and in China.So,Japan's lifestyle and health policies are worth considering,and more scientific and effective public health policies and clinical intervention strategies should be formulated and implemented.Countermeasure The relevant government agencies should promote the transformation of the food industry through the policy-market mechanism,carry out activities related to national health management,and continuously optimize the AF/AFL management model of medical and health institutions to effectively cope with this disease burden change.

The central amygdala (CeA) is a crucial modulator of emotional, behavioral, and autonomic functions, including cardiovascular responses. Despite its importance, the specific circuit by which the CeA modulates blood pressure remains insufficiently explored. Our investigations demonstrate that photostimulation of GABAergic neurons in the centromedial amygdala (CeM^GABA), as opposed to those in the centrolateral amygdala (CeL), produces a depressor response in both anesthetized and freely-moving mice. In addition, activation of CeM^GABA axonal terminals projecting to the nucleus tractus solitarius (NTS) significantly reduces blood pressure. These CeM^GABA neurons form synaptic connections with NTS neurons, allowing for the modulation of cardiovascular responses by influencing the caudal or rostral ventrolateral medulla. Furthermore, CeM^GABA neurons targeting the NTS receive dense inputs from the CeL. Consequently, stimulation of CeM^GABA neurons elicits hypotension through the CeM-NTS circuit, offering deeper insights into the cardiovascular responses associated with emotions and behaviors.

Objective: To examine the association between parent-child relationships and bullying behaviors among junior high school students, and to explore the moderating effect of community cohesion, so as to provide evidences for bullying intervention strategies. Methods: From November to December 2017, a cluster sampling method was used to survey 1 589 students in grades 6- 8 from three junior high schools in Jing an District,Shanghai. Anonymous electronic questionnaires collected data on parent-child relationships, community cohesion, and bullying behaviors. Multivariate Logistic regression analyzed the associations and moderation effects. Results: The prevalence of bullying behaviors among junior high school students was 7.80%. Spearman correlation analysis revealed negative associations between both parent-child relationships ( r =-0.13) and community cohesion ( r =-0.10) with bullying behaviors, while parent-child relationships positively correlated with community cohesion ( r =0.29) (all P <0.01). Junior high school students with positive parent-child relationships and higher perceived community cohesion showed lower risks of bullying behaviors ( OR=0.51, 95%CI =0.36-0.72; OR=0.58, 95%CI =0.45-0.76), with a significant interaction effect between the two factors (all P <0.05). Conclusions Positive parent-child relationships and community cohesion are negatively associated with bullying behaviors in middle school students. Supportive family relationships help reduce bullying, while stronger community cohesion enhances the protective effect of positive parent-child relationships against bullying.

A wealth of prior studies has confirmed that intratumoral microbiota can survive within tumor tissue, thereby promoting or inhibiting tumor growth. With the development of high-throughput sequencing and metabolomics, increasing attention has been paid to the correlation between intratumoral microbiota and host metabolism, and their effect on tumorigenesis and progression. This review focuses on the interaction between intratumoral microbiota and tumor metabolism. It emphasizes the effects of intratumoral microbiota on tumor sugar, lipid, and amino acid metabolism and explores emerging therapeutic strategies for guiding tumor prevention and treatment by modulating tumor metabolism. Although the specific role of intratumoral microbiota in tumor metabolism remains to be further studied, a deepened understanding of the interaction between tumor-specific microbiota and tumor metabolism may provide new directions and application prospects for tumor prevention and treatment.
