ObjectiveTo investigate the alleviating effect of calcium cyanamide (CaCN2) soil fumigation on replanting problems of Rehmannia glutinosa. MethodsNewly soil (NP) was used as the control group, while three treatment groups were established: replanted soil (RP), newly soil treated with CaCN2 (120 g·m², tillage depth 25 cm) (NPCC), and replanted soil treated with CaCN2 (RPCC). R. glutinosa was cultivated in all groups. At harvest, the tuber agronomic traits (number of enlarged roots, maximum root diameter, fresh weight, dry weight) were measured. The content of catalpol and rehmannioside D was quantified by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) to evaluate medicinal quality. Rhizosphere soil available nutrients and enzyme activities were analyzed by assay kits. The community structure and composition of fungi and bacteria in rhizosphere soil were assessed via internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) sequencing and 16S rDNA sequencing, respectively. ResultsCompared with NP, the RP group showed obviously reduced in tuber agronomic traits and quality indicators (P0.05). However, the RPCC group showed significant improvement in agronomic traits and a notable increase in rehmannioside D content compared to RP (P0.05). The contents of available phosphorus and potassium in RPCC and NP groups were obviously lower than those in RP (P0.05). The polyphenol oxidase soil (S-PPO) activity in RP was obviously lower than in NP (P0.05), while sucrose soil (S-SC), acid phosphatase soil (S-ACP), and S-PPO activities in RPCC were obviously higher than in RP (P0.05). Microbial richness and diversity in RP were obviously higher than in NP (P0.05), whereas no significant differences were observed between the RPCC and NP. The relative abundances of fungal genera Nectria, Myrothecium, Tomentella, and bacterial genus Skermanella were obviousl lower in RPCC and NP than in RP (P0.05). Correlation analysis that S-ACP activity was positively correlated with the content of rehmannioside D (P0.05). Fungal genera Engyodontium and Alternaria, and bacterial genera Pir4 lineage, Pirellula, Methyloversatilis, Brevundimonas, Ralstonia, and Acidibacter were obviously positively correlated with tuber dry weight (P0.05). Conversely, fungal genera Pseudaleuria, Nectria, Haematonectria, Ceratobasidium, and bacterial genera Streptomyces, Skermanella, RB41, Gemmatimonas, and Bacillus were obviously negatively correlated with dry weight (P0.05). The fungal genus Alternaria and bacterial genera Brevundimonas, Ralstonia, Acidibacter, and Dongia showed positive correlations with medicinal quality of R.glutinosa tuber, while fungal genera Pseudaleuria, Nectria, Stachybotrys, Fusarium, Gibberella, Ceratobasidium, and bacterial genera Sphingomonas, Skermanella, RB41, Gemmatimonas, and Bacillus were obviously negatively correlated (P0.05). ConclusionCaCN2 soil fumigation can significantly improve enzyme activities in replanted Rehmannia rhizosphere soil, enhance the utilization of available nutrients, reshape microbial community structure of replanted R.glutinosa at the family and genus level, and notably improve tuber agronomic traits and medicinal quality. This study provides a novel approach to alleviating replanting problems and offers insights for the integrated development of standardized cultivation techniques, including soil disinfection, nutrient-targeted regulation, and microbial inoculant application.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the characteristics and rules of the locations of acupoints selected in weight loss after syndrome differentiation of acupuncture and moxibustion, and provide quantitative evidence for the location specificity of acupoint selection in weight loss.
METHODS:
Clinical research articles on acupoint selection based on syndrome differentiation of acupuncture and moxibustion in weight loss were retrieved in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), from the inception to September 20th, 2024, and the data about acupoints and differentiated syndromes were extracted. Based on graph theory, the acupoint-syndrome network was established and its topological parameters such as node degree, value of betweenness centrality, description length and number of community were calculated.
RESULTS:
①The description length of the limbs was 4 255.592, and that of the trunk was 3 274.312. The information contained in the acupoint-syndrome network for the acupoints on the limbs was greater than that for those on the trunk. ②The value of betweenness centrality and node degree showed a nonlinear relationship, with R²of 0.812 1 for the trunk and 0.321 8 for the limbs. The values of betweenness centrality for the acupoints on the trunk were uniformly distributed, and the difference among these values was much smaller than that for the acupoints on the limbs. It suggested that the distance from each trunk acupoint to network center was similar, and the importance among these acupoints to network was similar, while the importance among acupoints located on the limbs was different significantly. ③The frequency proportion of acupoints on the trunk showed uniform distribution among different syndromes, while that of some acupoints located on the limbs such as Taichong (LR3), Neiting (ST44) and Taixi (KI3) presented a correlation with the syndromes.
CONCLUSION
In weight loss with acupuncture and moxibustion, the correlation between the limb acupoints and syndromes is more diverse and specific than that between the trunk acupoints and syndromes. The differences in acupoint selection for simple obesity treated with acupuncture and moxibustion are mostly reflected in the acupoints on the four limbs rather than those on the trunk. It provides an approach to acupoint selection for "local weight loss" and "general regulation" in treatment with acupuncture and moxibustion.

To explore the effect of Macleaya cordata extract(MCE)on growth performance and serum biochemistry of Sichuan White Geese, and to analyze its mechanism of action by network pharmacology and molecular docking technology combined with animal experiments verification.A total of 90 1-day-old healthy goslings were randomly divided into 5 groups with 18 goslings per group after 5 d of adaptive feeding. The control group(CON)was fed with basal diet, the antibiotic group(CTC)was supplemented with 450 mg/kg chlortetracycline premix, and the low MCE group(MCEL),medium MCE group(MCEM)and high MCE group(MCEH)were supple-mented with 200,300 and 400 mg/kg MCE,respectively. The experimental period was 21 d.On the basis of the above experiments,Network pharmacology and molecular docking technology were used to predict the core targets and signaling pathways of MCE to promote geese growth from the levels of antioxidant, immune and apoptosis, and the expression levels of the core target genes were detected by Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.The results showed that compared with the CON group,MCE supplementation could increase the average daily weight gain, decrease the ratio of feed to gain, significantly increase the contents of serum GH,T3,T4,TP and ALB(P<0.05),and significantly decrease the contents of serum AST and TG(P<0.05).Network pharmacology analysis predicted 2 active ingredient and 237 active ingredient targets, and concluded that the mechanism of MCE promoting the growth of Sichuan White Geese may be related to the role of 5 key targets such as SRC,HSP90AA1,CASP3,ESR1 and MAPK14,and the action of MAPK,apop-tosis and other signaling pathways.Molecular docking results showed that the active ingredients of sanguinarine and chelerythrine in MCE could act through MAPK14.The validation results of core targets showed that MCE could significantly reduce the mRNA expression levels of CytC,CASP2,CASP3 and CASP9 in spleen(P<0.05)and significantly increase the mRNA expression levels of Mcl-1(P<0.05).These results indicated that MCE could promote the growth performance of Si-chuan White Geese by regulating apoptosis, promoting the secretion of serum growth-related hor-mones and improving biochemical indicators.

Danggui Buxue decoction(DBD)is a classic prescription with immunomodulatory and hematopoietic effects.Previous studies have shown the DBD has potential to be used as an oral im-mune booster. However, its immunomodulatory effects and mechanism of action have not been thoroughly studied, especially the protective mechanism of immunomodulatory regulation in the state of immunosuppressive is still unclear. The aim of this study was to explore the protective mechanism of DBD in the immunosuppressive state using network pharmacology combined with animal experiments verification. The active components, core targets and signaling pathways of DBD in treating immunosuppression were obtained using network pharmacology tools. On this ba-sis,the active components of DBD were identified using HPLC-MS,and in vivo studies were con-ducted at the same time. The key active components of DBD obtained using network pharmacology included quercetin, kaempferol and formononetin. The core targets included TP53,RELA,TNF,AKT1,and IL-6.KEGG pathway enrichment analysis showed that phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI3K)-protein kinase B(AKT)may play an important role in the treatment of immunosuppres-sive diseases using DBD.Molecular docking confirmed that each core target had good binding activ-ity with its corresponding compounds.Animal experiments showed that after DBD intervention, the mRNA gene and protein expression of RELA,TNF,and IL-6 in the serum was significantly down-regulated.The mRNA expression of PI3K and AKT in the ileum and PI3K protein expression were also downregulated. In conclusion,DBD exerts its role in treating immunosuppressive diseases by regulating the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway.
