Deafness as the most prevalent sensory defect disease, seriously affects personal life and social development, and is a major public health challenge that needs to be addressed urgently. Occupational noise-induced deafness has become the second most common occupational disease in China and has attracted much attention. Relevant animal experimental studies can provide a basis for the prevention and control of the disease. This article respectively introduces the animal strain selection, modeling methods, model identification indicators, and model applications of animal models for conductive deafness, sensorineural deafness, and mixed deafness. The aim is to provide references for establishing different types of deafness animal models and to offer scientific tools for in-depth research on the pathological mechanisms, treatment strategies, and drug screening of various types of deafness.

Chronic rhinosinusitis(CRS)is a common chronic inflammation of nasal cavity and sinus mucosa,involving multiple pathogenesis mechanisms such as infection,allergic reactions,and immune abnormalities.Its main symptoms include nasal obstruction,rhinorrhea,and hyposmia,sig-nificantly affecting patients' quality of life.Seeking safe and effective long-term treatment methods is crucial for managing CRS.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has a long history of treating CRS and has gained attention due to its profound theoretical basis,high safety,and low recurrence rate.According to TCM,CRS is mostly caused by the invasion of wind-cold-damp pathogens,heat accumu-lation in the Lung meridian,or spleen-stomach weakness.Various therapies such as oral administra-tion of Chinese herbal medicines,nasal drops,acupuncture,and moxibustion are employed to adjust the body's balance and achieve therapeutic goals.This article comprehensively analyzed recent do-mestic and international literature and reviewed the research progress on pathogenesis of CRS and its treatment with TCM,with particular emphasis on roles and mechanisms of active ingredients in Chi-nese herbal medicines.The aim of the study is to provide scientific evidence and technical support for prevention and treatment of CRS.

Standardized training of newly recruited nurses is crucial for enhancing their clinical competencies and facilita-ting rapid adaptation to clinical environments.This approach aims to develop nursing professionals with advanced clinical skills and expertise.This paper reviews and analyzes the training paradigms for new nurses globally,focusing on the challenges faced in the standardized training of new nurses in China,to provide insights and references for future training programs.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of WeChat group integrating with BOPPPS instructional model in the standardized training of nurses in an orthopedics department.Methods A total of 56 nurses in orthopedical standardized training from a hospital were selected and divided into a control group(28 nurses from September 2022 to August 2023)and an interven-tion group(28 nurses trained via WeChat groups and the BOPPPS model from September 2023 to August 2024).The two groups were compared in terms of their final assessment scores,critical thinking,and self-directed learning capabilities.Results After training,the intervention group had significantly higher scores in the final assessment,all items of the California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory,and all dimensions of the Learning Ability Assessment Scale compared to the control group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion WeChat groups combined with the BOPPPS teaching mode effectively improves the self-directed learning ability,critical thinking skills,and assessment results of orthopedic nurses.

Objective To compare the contents variation of six flavonoids includingdaidzin，glycitin, genistin, daidzein, glycitein and genisteinin black beans, semifinished and finished Sojae Semen Praeparatum．Methods The contents of flavonoids were determined by HPLC，the condition were Diamonsil C₁₈ column (4.6×250 mm, 5 μm) , column temperature 30 ℃, detection wavelength 260 nm, mobile phase 0.2% acetic acid water (A) - methanol (B), gradient elution, flow rate 1.0 ml/min．Results The linearity of this method to determine 6 isoflavones was good (r≥0.9993) within the determination range, and the recovery rate met the requirements. The RSD of precision, repeatability and stability experiment was less than 4%, 3%and 3%. The results of HPLC showed that the contents of six flavonoidsin Sojae Semen Praeparatum increased significantly compared with black beans. And, the contents of six flavonoids in finished Sojae Semen Praeparatum were slightly more than those in semifinished Sojae Semen Praeparatum. Conclusion The HPLC method established in this study could accurately determine the content of 6 isoflavones in Sojae Semen Praeparatum. The content of six isoflavones in black beans could be increased by the fermentation, and the combined isoflavones were transformed into free isoflavones during the fermentation process.

Objective:To investigate the effect of a single-trial transcranial direct current stimulation(tDCS) of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) on fairness-related decision-making behavior.Methods:From September 2018 to February 2019, a total of 60 healthy participants between the ages of 18 and 45 were enrolled.Then, the participants were randomly divided into 3 groups with 20 in each group to receive left anode stimulation/right cathode stimulation (left anode /right cathode group), left cathode/right anode stimulation (left cathode /right anode group) or bilateral control electrodes (sham stimulation group) on the bilateral dorsolateral prefrontal cortices (DLPFC), respectively.After tDCS, the participants immediately completed the ultimatum game (UG) task as responders and a fairness questionnaire in turn.SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data with repeated measurement ANOVA and nonparametric test.Results:In the UG task, there was no significant difference in the acceptance rate among the three groups of participants as responders (all P>0.05). When analyzing the acceptance rate facing different proposers (" computer" and " human" ) under different fairness levels in the three stimulus types through the paired samples Wilcoxon test, it was found that the acceptance rate of the sham stimulation group to the extremely unfair proposals proposed by the human opponent was lower than that proposed by the computer(0.28 (0, 0.67), 0.44 (0.33, 0.89), Z=-2.14, P=0.032), while there was no difference in acceptance rates (both P>0.05) in the face of fair or unfair proposals proposed by computer and human opponents.The acceptance rate of the left cathode /right anode group to the unfair(0.90 (0.50, 1.00), 1.00 (0.70, 1.00), Z=-1.90, P=0.046)or extremely unfair(0.44 (0, 1.00), 0.89 (0.50, 1.00), Z=-2.73, P=0.006) proposals proposed by human opponents was significantly lower than the proposals proposed by computer opponent, and there was no differences in acceptance rate when facing fair proposals proposed by computer and human opponents ( P> 0.05). There were no significant differences in acceptance rates in the left anode /right cathode group when faced with fair, unfair, and extremely unfair schemes proposed by computer and human opponents (all P>0.05). For fairness questionnaire scores, a repeated measurements ANOVA showed that the interaction effect between group and proposer types was not significant ( F(2, 54)=2.037, P=0.140), and the group main effect was not significant ( F(1, 54)=0.165, P=0.848), but the proposer type main effect was significant ( F(1, 54)=6.363, P=0.015), indicating that the fairness questionnaire score in the face of the human opponents was lower than when facing the computer opponents( P<0.05). Conclusion:Although a single-trial tDCS on bilateral DLPFC has no significant effect on the overall acceptance rate of fairness-related decision-making, it affects the decision-making of unfair distribution scheme proposed by human or computer.

Objective To compare the effects of Flexi-bar training in different exercise patterns on trunk stability muscles.Methods From June, 2020 to January, 2021, 21 healthy men in Beijing Bo'ai Hospital finished Flexi-bar exercise in seven patterns in random order, namely no vibration, two hands-front vibration, dominant hand-front vibration, non dominant hand-front vibration, two hands-up vibration, two hands-down vibration and two hands-back vibration. The average voltage of electromyography of upper trapezius, middle trapezius, lower trapezius, latissimus dorsi and lumbar multifidus were recorded with surface electromyography during seven kinds of Flexi-bar exercise.Results The average voltage of lumbar multifidus was the most as two hands-front vibration (F=42.362, P<0.001); however, it was the most for upper trapezius and lower trapezius as two hands-up vibration (F > 10.935, P<0.001), it was the most for latissimus dorsi as two hands-back vibration (F=35.243, P<0.001), and it was the most for ipsilateral middle trapezius as non dominant hand-front vibration (F=40.400, P<0.001).Conclusion Flexi-bar training can effectively activate the contraction of trunk stability muscles, and it can be optimized in targeted patterns.
