Objective: To explore the related factors of college students social network addiction based on problem behavior theory, so as to provide a basis for improving social networking addiction in this population. Methods: From May to June 2023, a method combining convenient sampling and cluster random sampling was used to select 1 768 college students from five universities in Shanghai for a questionnaire survey on social networking addiction, self esteem, loneliness, depressive symptoms, social support, interpersonal needs, sense of distress and frustration; at the same time, the physical exercise, smoking and drinking of college students were investigated. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was applied to explore the association between the three systems of the problem behavior theory (personality, behavior, and social environment) and social networking addiction among college students. Results: The score on the Social Network Addiction Tendency Scale was (21.08±6.29) among college students, and the detection rate of social networking addiction was 66.29%. After adjusting for gender, family economic status, parental divorce status, and whether being an only child, multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that in the personality system, higher loneliness ( OR =1.66) and higher depressive symptoms ( OR =2.18) were associated with increased risk of social networking addiction among college students; in the behavior system, alcohol consumption ( OR =1.42) was associated with higher risk of soical networking addiction compared to non drinkers; and in the social environment system, low social support ( OR =1.43) was associated with increased risk of social networking addiction (all P <0.05). Conclusions The rate of social networking addiction among college students is relatively high, and the systems of personality, behavior, and social environment are all related to social network addiction. Providing social support, cultivating healthy lifestyle habits, and increasing interpersonal interactions may help reduce excessive dependence on social networking among college students.

Objective To investigate changes in the mental health status of pelagic fishermen during prolonged voyage,so as to provide solid evidence for further comprehensive investigation and development of mental health protection measures.Methods SCL-90 symptom checklist,sRSS sleep questionnaire,the revised version of MBI-GS burnout inventory by Professor Li Chaoping and Coping style scale were used to perform a repeated cross-sectional group questionnaire survey and analysis in pelagic fishermen,3 days before sailing,at month 3 and month 6 during voyage,and at day7 after voyage.The obtained data were compared with those of the Chinese norms and statistical analysis was also made in the study.Results There was no statistical significance in the scores of SCL-90 scales 3 days before sailing,as compared with those of the Chinese adult norms (P ＞0.05).However,at month 3 after prolonged voyage,the mental health status of the pelagic fishermen as a whole was significantly decreased.Total average scores of the 10 factors and SCL-90 were significantly higher than those of the data detected 3 days before sailing and at day 7 after sailing (P ＜0.01).Furthermore,the data detected at month 6 were further increased,as compared with those detected at month 3 (P ＜ 0.05).In addition,such data as sleep time,sleep quality,lack of awakening,lack of sleep,difficulty in falling asleep,sleep instability,nightmare and night terror,medication and total sleep scores of the pelagic fishermen were all significantly lower than those of the Chinese norms and the oceangoing seafarers,and statistical significance could be noticed when comparisons were made between them (P ＜ 0.05 or P ＜ 0.01) Three months after voyage,the 3 dimensional scores of the burnout inventory and burnout comprehensive scores in the pelagic fishermen were all significantly higher than those 3 days before sailing and at day 7 after sailing (P ＜ 0.01).Furthermore,the burnout scores detected at month 6 were higher than those detected at month 3,also with statistical significance (P ＜ 0.05).In the 14 coping styles,the percentage of relief only through the access of smoking and alcoholism in the pelagic fishermen was higher than that of the Chinese norms.However,the scores of other coping styles were all lower than those of the Chinese norms,also with statistical significance (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The mental status of the pelagic fishermen obviously got lower after 3 months of prolonged voyage,and it would further worsen at month 6.The mental health status of the pelagic fishermen during prolonged voyage was poor,which relevant administrative departments should pay special attention to.

Objective To investigate the expression of ADAM17 in human placental villus and its effect on embryo implantation.Methods Semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot were applied to detect the expression of ADAM17mRNA and the protein ADAMl7 in villus tissues of normal pregnant woman and normal non-fertile endometria respectively at week 6,7,8,9 in the secretive phase.Results Semi-quantitative RT-PCR detection results indicated that the expression level of ADAM17mRNA in villus was obviously higher than that of the non-fertile endometria,with statistical significance (P ＜ 0.01).Furthermore,its expression level reached peak at week 9 after pregnancy.The expression pattern and level of ADAM17 by Western blot detection was generally identical to that by semiquantitative RT-PCR,and no statistical significance could be noted,when comparisons were made between the two(P ＞0.05).Conclusions ADAM17 could be successfully expressed in placental villus and it might play an important role in the process of embryo implantation.
