The Expert Consensus on Clinical Application of Qinbaohong Zhike Oral Liquid in Treatment of Acute Bronchitis and Acute Attack of Chronic Bronchitis （GS/CACM 337-2023） was released by the China Association of Chinese Medicine on December 13^th， 2023. This expert consensus was developed by experts in methodology， pharmacy， and Chinese medicine in strict accordance with the development requirements of the China Association of Chinese Medicine （CACM） and based on the latest medical evidence and the clinical medication experience of well-known experts in the fields of respiratory medicine （pulmonary diseases） and pediatrics. This expert consensus defines the application of Qinbaohong Zhike oral liquid in the treatment of cough and excessive sputum caused by phlegm-heat obstructing lung， acute bronchitis， and acute attack of chronic bronchitis from the aspects of applicable populations， efficacy evaluation， usage， dosage， drug combination， and safety. It is expected to guide the rational drug use in medical and health institutions， give full play to the unique value of Qinbaohong Zhike oral liquid， and vigorously promote the inheritance and innovation of Chinese patent medicines.

Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is a global malignancy with significant chemoresistance impacting patient prognosis. The pro-tumorigenic role of hyaluronan-mediated motility receptor (HMMR) in LUAD is recognized. This study was designed to investigate the underlying mechanisms by which HMMR affects chemoresistance in LUAD. Bioinformatics presented the expression patterns of HMMR in LUAD patients and the association between HMMR levels and patient survival, followed by qRT-PCR to verify HMMR expression in LUAD tissues and cells. Further, bioinformatics was leveraged to identify the signaling pathways enriched by HMMR and its relevance to glycolytic genes, we also analyzed changes in the glycolytic activity of LUAD cells by manipulating HMMR expression. Stemness was evaluated through cell aggregation assays and Western blot, and drug responsiveness was gauged using CCK-8 assays, alongside flow cytometry for apoptosis analysis. HMMR was highly expressed in LUAD tissues and cells, and this overexpression correlated with poorer prognoses in patients. GSEA showed that HMMR was notably enriched in the glycolysis and gluconeogenesis pathways, correlating positively with the expression of key glycolytic genes. Cellular experiments confirmed that HMMR knockdown notably suppressed aerobic glycolysis in LUAD cells. Moreover, overexpression of HMMR could further enhance the stemness and cisplatin resistance of LUAD cells by stimulating glycolysis. In brief, this study has validated that high levels of HMMR in LUAD are predictive of poor patient prognosis, and that overexpression of HMMR can catalyze aerobic glycolysis, thus promoting stemness and chemoresistance in LUAD cells. Thus, HMMR could be a target for improving chemosensitivity in LUAD.

HDAC7, a member of class IIa HDACs, plays a pivotal regulatory role in tumor, immune, fibrosis, and angiogenesis, rendering it a potential therapeutic target. Nevertheless, due to the high similarity in the enzyme active sites of class IIa HDACs, inhibitors encounter challenges in discerning differences among them. Furthermore, the substitution of key residue in the active pocket of class IIa HDACs renders them pseudo-enzymes, leading to a limited impact of enzymatic inhibitors on their function. In this study, proteolysis targeting chimera (PROTAC) technology was employed to develop HDAC7 drugs. We developed an exceedingly selective HDAC7 PROTAC degrader B14 which showcased superior inhibitory effects on cell proliferation compared to TMP269 in various diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. Subsequent investigations unveiled that B14 disrupts BCL6 forming a transcriptional inhibition complex by degrading HDAC7, thereby exerting proliferative inhibition in DLBCL. Our study broadened the understanding of the non-enzymatic functions of HDAC7 and underscored the importance of HDAC7 in the treatment of hematologic malignancies, particularly in DLBCL and AML.

Objective The objective of this study was to establish a mouse model of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and investigate the role of the NLRP3 signaling pathway in allergic rhinoconjunctivitis.Methods Thirty-three female C57 mice(SPF)were randomLy divided into 3 groups:the control group,the experimental group,and the NLRP3-/-group.On days 0,4,7,14,and 21,the experimental group and NLRP3-/-group received a 0.2 mL intraperitoneal injection of medicine containing OVA(100 μg)and adjuvant Al(OH)3(4 mg),respectively.After an interval of 3 days,each eye and nose were dosed with 10 μL of 5%OVA for five consecutive days a week to induce allergic symptoms.During sensitization and excitation stages,the control group was replaced with an equiva-lent amount of PBS.Ocular and nasal symptoms were observed and scored.The levels of OVA-specific IgE,IL-4,IL-17,and IL-18 in serum were measured using ELISA,while changes in palpebral conjunctiva and nasal mucosa were assessed by hematoxylin-eosin staining.The expression of NLRP3 mRNA in conjunctival tissue and nasal mucosa was determined using real-time PCR analysis.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS17.0 software with P<0.05 considered as statistically significant difference.Results The experimental group and NLRP3-/-group exhibited induced nasal and ocular allergic symptoms.In the experimental group,the duration of nasal allergy symptoms was(10.500±1.080)days,while the duration of eye allergy symptoms was(20.300±2.058)days.In the NLRP3-/-group,the duration of nasal allergy symptoms was(13.400±1.955)days,and for eye allergy symp-toms it was(20.900±2.132)days.The duration of nasal allergies in the NLRP3-/-group significantly exceeded that in the experimental group(P<0.05),whereas there were no significant differences observed in eye allergy durations between these two groups(P>0.05).Levels of OVA-specific IgE,IL-4,and IL-17 were significantly higher in both the experimental and NLRP3-/-groups compared to those in the control group(P<0.05).Additionally,serum IL-18 content increased significantly in the experimental group when compared with both control and NLRP3-/-groups(P<0.05).Conjunctival tissue lesions as well as nasal mucosa damage were evident in both experimental and NLRP3-/-groups.mRNA expression levels of NLRP3 within conjunctival tissue and nasal mucosa from the experimental group showed a significant increase when compared to those from both control and NLRP3-/-groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Allergic rhinoconjunctivitis pathogenesis is influenced by various factors;however,the involvement of NLPR3 signaling pathway promotes its development.

The latest epidemiological data suggests that the situation of adult diabetes in China is severe, and metabolic diseases have become significant chronic illnesses that have a serious impact on public health and social development. After more than six years of practice, the National Metabolic Management Center(MMC) has developed distinctive approaches to manage metabolic patients and has achieved a series of positive outcomes, continuously advancing the standardized diagnosis and treatment model. In order to further improve the efficiency, based on the first edition, the second edition guideline was composed by incorporating experience of the past six years in conjunction with the latest international and domestic guidelines.

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of telescopic intramedullary rod for treatment of femur fracture or deformity correction in children with osteogenesis imperfecta,and to analysis the result of prevention recurrent fracture as well as the complication.Methods Data of patients who were treated by telescopic intramedullary rod for recurrent femur fracture or curved femoral deformity from March 2015 to December 2015 were prospectively analyzed.There were 39 boys and 26 girls.The average age of the patients was 9 years 2 months,ranging from 3 years 5 months to 13 years 4 month.All the patients had suffered from recurrent femur fractures leading to femoral deformity.The mean angulation angle was 58° (range,30°-95°).Among 69 sides,there were 21 sides of new fracture and 48 sides of deformity.Sixty-one patients were operated at one side and the other 4 patients were treated bilaterally.According to the modified Sillence classification system,there were 5 cases of type Ⅰ,17 type Ⅲ,34 type Ⅴ,3 type Ⅴ,2 type Ⅵ and 4 type ⅩⅤ.Results All the 65 patients were followed up for a mean period of 32 months (range,15-43).The average healing time of the osteotomy site or fracture site of the femur was 8 weeks (range,7-12).The patient was encouraged to begin weight bearing and walking when the Ⅹ-ray film showed healing of the osteotomy or fracture site.By the latest follow up,80％ of the patients could stand and walk independently,The incidence of femur fracture decreased significantly to the level of 0.5±0.2/year,compared to 2.7±1.8/year before operation.All the parents of the children were satisfied with the result of deformity correction.The children's self care and motion ability improved obviously after operation.During follow up,6 patients suffered from recurrent fracture of the femur by various degree,1 of them was treated by open reduction and telescopic rodding surgery,while the other 5 patients were treated conservatively because the fracture displaced or angulated minimally and 4 patients healed uneventfully while 1 patient need plate fixation to augment the axial stability.In 3 patients (1 type Ⅳ,2 type Ⅲ) the intubator failed to elongate with the growth of the distal femoral epiphysis,and in 2 patients the obturator migrated proximally which needed to be re-fixed.Low toxic infections occurred in 2 patients (type Ⅵ) which were treated successfully by removal of the rod and antibiotics.Conclusion The telescopic intramedullary rod can maintain the correction of the femur deformity and improve the quality the bone,thus prevent the recurrent fracture of the femur in children with osteogenesis imperfecta effectively.
