Objective:To explore the value of the "sandwich" feedback method based on the PDCA (plan, do, check, action) cycle in improving the ability of faculty in the department of radiology in teaching clinical radiological image interpretation during standardized residency training. Methods:The study involved six faculty members engaged in standardized residency training in the department of radiology from January 2023 to January 2024. The "sandwich" feedback method based on PDCA cycle was adopted to improve their ability in teaching clinical radiological image interpretation quarterly. The teaching ability was evaluated by residents and peer faculty members. A survey on teaching satisfaction was carried out. Results:Comparison of the teaching ability between PDCA cycles demonstrated a progressive increase in scores as rated by both residents and peer faculty members (scores from quarter 1 to quarter 4 were (77.00±2.53)/(80.33±3.26), (79.16±2.04)/(82.83±2.86), (81.83±1.17)/(85.16±1.17), (83.00±1.41)/(86.00±1.41). ANOVA of repeated measures indicated that quarter had a significant impact on both peer faculty member and resident evaluations ( P<0.001), and the results remained significant after Greenhouse-Geisser correction (G-G) and Huynh-Feldt correction (H-F). Moreover, a steady increase was observed in the scores of common deficiencies. The questionnaire survey showed that 88.88% (24/27) of the faculty members were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with the feedback model. There were no significant differences in the scores of teaching feedback is necessary and aids in standardized teaching activities, creating an atmosphere before feedback is essential and effective "sandwich" feedback is helpful in improving the ability of faculty in teaching radiological image interpretation, and "sandwich" feedback can promote teaching reflection among faculty" between resident and peer faculty member evaluations ( P>0.05). Conclusions:The "sandwich" feedback method based on the PDCA cycle can effectively improve the ability of faculty in teaching clinical radiological image interpretation in the department of radiology and provide new ideas for achieving teaching homogeneity.

OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with sorafenib in the treatment of advanced liver cancer. METHODS Sixty patients with advanced liver cancer who were treated in our hospital from March 2020 to November 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and then were randomly divided into study group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Sorafenib tosylate tablets orally (0.4 g,bid), and the study group was additionally given Camrelizumab for injection intravenously (200 mg, every 3 weeks) based on the control group; for all patients, the treatment was stopped until disease progression or intolerable side effects occurred. The clinical efficacy, progression-free survival (PFS), total survival (OS) and 1-year survival rate of the two groups were compared, and the incidence of adverse reactions in two groups, and immune-related adverse reactions in the study group during treatment were recorded. RESULTS The objective remission rate of the study group was significantly higher than the control group (36.7% vs. 13.3%, P<0.05), and the median OS and median PFS were significantly longer than the control group (OS: 12.6 months vs. 7.9 months; PFS: 8.2 months vs. 5.3 months, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the 1-year survival rate and the incidence of elevated aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase, rash or pruritus, anorexia, diarrhea, fatigue and hypertension between the two groups (P>0.05). The adverse events immune-related in the study group mainly included 21 cases of reactive capillary hyperplasia (70.0%), 6 cases of hypothyroidism (20.0%), and 1 case of immune-associated pneumonia (3.3%), which were improved or tolerable after symptomatic treatment. CONCLUSIONS Camrelizumab combined with sorafenib in the treatment of advanced liver cancer can effectively control and delay the disease progression, prolong the survival period of patients, and the adverse reactions can be tolerated.

Purpose:
The poor retention and ambiguous differentiation of stem cells (SCs) within corpus cavernosum (CC) limit the cell application in erectile dysfunction (ED). Herein, the effects and mechanism of microRNA-145 (miR-145) gene modification on modulating the traits and fate of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) were investigated.
Materials and Methods:
The effects of miR-145 on cell apoptosis, proliferation, migration, and differentiation were determined by flow cytometry, cell counting kit-8, transwell assays and myogenic induction. Then, the age-related ED rats were recruited to four groups including phosphate buffer saline, BMSC, vector-BMSC, overexpressed-miR-145-BMSC groups. After cell transplantation, the CC were harvested and prepared to demonstrate the retention and differentiation of BMSCs by immunofluorescent staining. Then, the target of miR-145 was verified by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemical. After that, APTO-253, as an inducer of Krüppel-like factor 4 (KLF4), was introduced for rescue experiments in corpus cavernosum smooth muscle cells (CCSMCs) under the co-culture system.
Results:
In vitro, miR-145 inhibited the migration and apoptosis of BMSCs and promoted the differentiation of BMSCs into smooth muscle-like cells with stronger contractility. In vivo, the amount of 5-ethynyl-2′-deoxyuridine (EdU)+cells within CC was significantly enhanced and maintained in the miR-145 gene modified BMSC group. The EdU/CD31 co-staning was detected, however, no co-staining of EdU/α-actin was observed. Furthermore, miR-145, which secreted from the gene modified BMSCs, dampened the expression of KLF4. However, the effects of miR-145 on CCSMCs could be rescued by APTO-253.
Conclusions
Overall, miR-145 modification prolongs the retention of the transplanted BMSCs within the CC, and this effect might be attributed to the modulation of the miR-145/KLF4 axis. Consequently, our findings offer a promising and innovative strategy to enhance the local stem cell-based treatments.

Objective:To investigate the effect and mechanism of non-selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor sodium butyrate (NaB) on neuropathic pain and pain-induced memory impairment in mice. Methods:Forty clean grade male C57BL/6J mice were were divided into 4 groups by random number table method ( n=10 in each group): sham + saline, sham + NaB, chronic constriction injury (CCI)+ saline and CCI + NaB.The mouse CCI model was established by sciatic nerve ligation. Non-selective HDAC inhibitors NaB(300 mg/kg) was intraperitoneally injected into the mice in Sham+ NaB group and CCI+ NaB group once a day 15-28 days after modeling, while the mice in Sham+ saline group and CCI+ saline group were intraperitoneally injected with the same volume of saline. On the 14th and 28th day after operation, the athletic ability was measured by open field test (OFT), the pain behavior was measured by paw withdrawal threshold (PWT) and paw withdrawal latency (PWL), and the memory function was measured by Y-maze. After the behavioral experiment, hippocampus and spinal dorsal horn tissues were taken for the activity of HDAC measurement, and hippocampus tissues were taken for the expression levels of BDNF and PSD95 measurement. SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis. The data were compared by repeated measurement ANOVA and one-way ANOVA. Results:After treatment with NaB, the interaction effects of the accuracy of spontaneous alternation of PWT, PWL and Y maze in mice were significant( F=21.07, 6.98, 7.79, all P<0.05). Compared with the Sham + saline group, the PWT((0.83±0.30)g, (0.25±0.22)g, (0.24±0.11)g; both P<0.05), the PWL((14.97±4.02)s, (5.99±1.51)s, (6.87±0.90)s; both P<0.05) and the spontaneous alternation in Y maze(71.57±2.80)%, (56.96±0.60)%, (62.86±4.94)%; both P<0.05) in CCI+ Saline group and CCI+ NaB group were lower. After treatment with NaB, compared with CCI + saline group, PWT((0.22±0.13)g, (0.62±0.23)g; P<0.05), PWL((5.62±2.00)s, (8.82±2.13)s; P<0.05)and the accuracy of spontaneous alternation of Y maze were significantly higher ((56.54±7.50)%, (66.35±8.20)%; P<0.05), the HDAC activity in hippocampus((173.40±7.38)%, (122.70±8.40)%; P<0.05)and in spinal cord ((153.40±10.58)%, (111.40±11.40)%; P<0.05)were significantly lower, and the expression of BDNF((0.65±0.06), (0.87±0.43); P<0.05)and PSD95((0.70±0.40), (0.87±0.04); P<0.05)were significantly higher in CCI + NaB group. Conclusion:NaB can improve neuropathic pain and pain-induced memory impairment. The mechanism may be related to the inhibition of HDAC activity and the up-regulation of BDNF and PSD95 expression in hippocampus.

The Genome Sequence Archive (GSA) is a data repository for archiving raw sequence data, which provides data storage and sharing services for worldwide scientific communities. Considering explosive data growth with diverse data types, here we present the GSA family by expanding into a set of resources for raw data archive with different purposes, namely, GSA (https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/gsa/), GSA for Human (GSA-Human, https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/gsa-human/), and Open Archive for Miscellaneous Data (OMIX, https://ngdc.cncb.ac.cn/omix/). Compared with the 2017 version, GSA has been significantly updated in data model, online functionalities, and web interfaces. GSA-Human, as a new partner of GSA, is a data repository specialized in human genetics-related data with controlled access and security. OMIX, as a critical complement to the two resources mentioned above, is an open archive for miscellaneous data. Together, all these resources form a family of resources dedicated to archiving explosive data with diverse types, accepting data submissions from all over the world, and providing free open access to all publicly available data in support of worldwide research activities.

Objective:
This study aims (1) to evaluate the surgical outcome of intramuscular venous malformations, and associated nerve and tendon encapsulated; (2) to summarize the surgical procedure, with the purpose of providing individualized surgical treatment.
Methods:
This is a retrospective study of 114 patients of intramuscular venous malformations with associated nerve and tendon encapsulated. All the patients were admitted in the Henan Provincial People′s Hospital from January 2012 to December 2014. The surgeries were produced, according to the patient′s condition. The surgical outcome was evaluated after 1-3 years follow up, by the overall evaluation of radiological imaging, symptoms and functions of limbs. The evaluation criteria: (1) Invalid: clinical symptoms or radiological imaging showed no improvement or even worsen; (2) Improvement: clinical symptoms or radiological imaging was significantly improved; (3) Cure: clinical symptoms were gone or the radiological imaging was normal.
Results:
All the 114 patients were followed up for 1-3 years, with the average of 1.8 years. Three cases were evaluated as invalid, 26 cases were improved, and 85 cases were cured. The effective rate was 97%, and the cure rate was 75% on 1 year after surgery.
Conclusions
It is difficult to treat intramuscular venous malformations as it often involves nerve and tendon. Universal treatment is few. Therefore, an individualized surgical plan is recommendable.

The in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer technique has been widely applied in human insemination. The rate of successful insemination is gradual y rising, and the in-vitro fertilization directly determine the insemination outcome.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the difference between the two common using insemination methods, microdrop and open, in in-vitro fertilization and embryo development.
METHODS:A randomized study was conducted to compare microdrop and open insemination methods among non-male factor patients undergoing in-vitro fertilization and embryo transfer. A total of 1 175 cases were enrol ed in the research. There were 573 cases in the microdrop group, and 602 cases in open insemination group. The fertilization rate and embryo development in the two groups were compared.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The fertilization failure rate [total fertilization failure rate+low fertilization rate (<25%oocytes fertilized)] in the microdrop insemination group was higher than in the open insemination group (11.9%, 3.3%, P<0.001), while the good quality embryo rate and pregnancy rate did not differ significantly between the two groups (al P>0.05). The open insemination method is a simple insemination method with a lower fertilization failure rate. As the fertilization is a highly complicated process involving many extrinsic and intrinsic factors, further study is needed to confirm the effects of the two insemination methods on in-vitro fertilization outcome.
