The view of youth moral cultivation clearly defines the scope of “morality” and puts forward the requirement of “cultivating morality” for the youth. This is a systematic concept aligned with the main theme of the times and is worth deeply exploring and integrating into the practice of medical ethics education for medical students. With the requirements for innovation and development in medical education, the cultivation of medical students has also been endowed with new connotations. Guided by the connotations of the view of youth moral cultivation and aligned with the objective requirements of medical students’ cultivation, this paper leveraged the core values of traditional Chinese medicine as its entry point. It also explored the realization paths of medical ethics education for medical students that reflect advantages, highlight characteristics, and maintain clear orientation through strengthening the medical ethics education of “dedicated study of medicine,” “honesty and prudence in words and deeds,” “benevolence in heart and skills,” and “doctor-patient trust and harmony,” aiming to cultivate guardians of people’s health with noble medical ethics and superb medical skills.

Objective:To evaluate the imaging stability of a portable boom-type ophthalmic ultra-high-resolution optical coherence tomography (OCT) device in multiple application scenarios. Methods:The boom-type mode and handheld mode of the portable boom-type OCT and the desktop OCT were used to perform three-dimensional imaging tests on three healthy adults undergoing physical examinations at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University as well as on OEMI-7 model eyes in a sitting position. The same two modes of the portable boom-type OCT were used to perform three-dimensional imaging on four awake non-sedated infants, two sedated infants and four healthy adults in the supine position. The obtained 3D imaging data were processed using a correlation analysis method between adjacent B-scans, and the offset of B-scan in the axial (z-axis) and the fast axis transverse (x-axis) were calculated. The procedures for in vivo human eye experiments followed the Declaration of Helsinki and were approved by the Ethics Committee of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University (No.2020 KYPJ154).All subjects and infant guardians signed the informed consent form. Results:Compared with the handheld imaging mode, the axial and fast axis lateral motion offsets of the model eye were significantly reduced in the boom-type imaging mode from (124.00±12.49)μm to (48.00±15.87)μm and from (24.00±1.00)μm to (2.67±0.57)μm, respectively ( t=2.932, 4.337; both P<0.001).In both human and model eyes, the axial and fast axis lateral motion offsets of the boom-type mode were significantly lower than in the traditional handheld operation mode (both P<0.001).The axial and lateral motion offsets between the boom-type mode and desk-top OCT imaging were comparable, without significant differences (both P>0.05).In both sedated and awake, non-sedated infants in the supine position, the axial offset of the portable boom-type OCT system was similar to that of the healthy adults, without significant difference in the overall comparison ( P=0.385), and the lateral offsets were higher than those of healthy adults, with statistically significant differences (both P=0.013).There was no significant difference in axial deviation between sedated and non-sedated infants ( P>0.05).The lateral deviation of non-sedated infants was higher than that of sedated infants, though the difference was not statistically significant ( P=0.247). Conclusions:The portable boom-type OCT system can maintain high-speed, high-resolution imaging performance while achieving imaging stability comparable to traditional desktop OCT systems. It is more suitable for bedside imaging of supine subjects, especially uncooperative infants, and has good clinical application prospects.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2009;25(6):865-871
Objective: To study the effects and safety of Shixinyatong buccal tablets in the treatment of gastropyretic toothache (perico-ronitis). Methods: Randemized, double-blinded, double-imitated, parallel-controlled and multi-center clinical study was employed. 120 cases of gastropyretic toothache (pericoronitis) was enrolled in the experimental group( SBT group) and another 120 in control group(CBD group). Pericoronal pocket rinsing was performed for each case at the first visit, then the patients in SBT group were treated by Shixin buccal tablets(SBT) , 0. 6 g×2, 4/d and oral adiministration of the vehicle of cow-bezoare detoxicating tablets,0.3 g×3, 3/ d. The patients in CBD group were treated by oral adiministration of cow-bezoare detoxicating tablets ( SBD), 0. 3 g×3, 3/d and the vehicle of SBT, 0.6 g ×2, 4/d respectively. Pain, gingiva contagious tumefaction, pyorrhea of periocoronal pocket and limitation of mouth opening were scored by 0, 2, 4 and 6 as the major physical signs and symptoms(MAS); periocoronal flap and pocket, facial swelling, hot and foul breath, costipation, lymphadenectasis, thirsty and desire of cold drinks, fever by 0, 1,2 and 3 as the minor (MIS). Treatment was continued for 5 days and data were statistically analysed with SAS6. 12 software. Significant effectiveness was i-dentified by the decrease of total score of all the physical signs and symptoms(TS) ≥70% .effectiveness 30%~69% and ineffectiveness ≤29%. Routine examinations of blood, urine and stool, function of liver and kidney and electrocardiogram were conducted before and after treatment. Adverse events(AE) were observed. Results: 3 cases divorced from SBT group and 2 from CBD group. The demographic data and all the scores before treatment were not statistically different between groups (P>0.05). 3 and 5 days after treatment theTS, TSMA and TSMI were decreased(P= 0.000) in both groups, in SBT group decreased more than in CBD(P<0.001). Significant effectiveness ratio of SBT group was higher than that of CBD (P=0. 000). 5 days after treatment TS of MASs and the scores of each MAS in SBT group decreased more than in CBD( P<0.05). Vital signs were in normal range and not statisticaly different between groups(P>0.05). The clinical lab examinations showed no abnormal changes. Drug-related AE were observed in 3 cases, 1 with moderate AE in SBT group recovered after drug withdrawal, 2 with mild AE in CBD group recovered without aditional treatment. Conclusion; Shixinyatong buccal tablet is more effective in the treatment of gastropyretic toothache (pericoronitis) than cow-bezoare detoxicating tablets and with similar safety.
