Endometriosis presents a common challenge in global women's health.Ferroptosis,as an emerging form of regulated cell death, has recently attracted attention in relation to endometriosis. In terms of disease mechanisms, ferroptosis drives ovarian endometrial fibrosis via the induction of iron overload, and promotes disease progression by regulating multiple signaling pathways, such as p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription 6(p38MAPK/STAT6),promote angiogenesis, autophagy, etc, fueling disease progression. In terms of infertility, ferroptosis affects embryo development and ovarian function, thereby reducing fertility. From a diagnostic perspective, high expression of ferroptosis-related genes provides potential biomarkers for the early diagnosis of endometriosis, effectively distinguishing patients from healthy individuals, and showing important clinical value. In terms of treatment strategies,non-natural compounds such as Erastin,as well as natural compounds such as resveratrol, ursolic acid, and baicalein, have shown potential therapeutic effects in relieving the pathological process and related symptoms of endometriosis. This review comprehensively elucidates the key role of ferroptosis in endometriosis in terms of the disease mechanisms, infertility, diagnosis, and treatment, and explores its potential as a diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target, thus providing new theoretical support and treatment strategies for the management of endometriosis.

The purpose of this study was to establish a luciferase immunosorbent assay(LISA)using the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus(CCHFV)glycoprotein C(Gc),a specific antigen, for the detection of CCHFV IgG antibodies.Three antigenic fragments based on CCHFV glycoprotein C were designed, and three recombinant plasmids were constructed by liga-tion with the NanoLuc luciferase(NLuc)expression vector pNLF1-N through molecular cloning. The accuracy of the sequences in the recombinant plasmids was confirmed through sequencing. The recombinant plasmids were transfected into eukaryotic cells to obtain fusion proteins containing specific antigens and luciferase, and the expression of the fusion proteins was verified by western blotting, thereby facilitating the establishment of the CCHFV-LISA detection technique. The assay's sensitivity, specificity, and stability were evaluated and compared with those of a commercial CCHFV IgG antibody test kit.Three recom-binant antigen fragments of CCHFV Gc—NLuc-Gc-Full,NLuc-Gc-C1,and NLuc-Gc-C2—were expressed, with molecular weights of 80.1 kDa,62.8 kDa,and 53.9 kDa,respectively. The optimal fragment for CCHFV detection was NLuc-Gc-C2.The sensitivity of the CCHFV-LISA was 90.9%,and the specificity was 100%;the findings were highly concordant with those for the commercial CCHFV enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay kit.Repeatability tests indicated no statistically significant differ-ences in inter-and intra-assay variability within the same batch. The LISA was highly specific, sensitive, and user-friendly in detecting IgG antibodies against the CCHFV.Therefore, this method may facilitate serological diagnosis and epidemiological studies in endemic regions, and provide essential technical support for disease surveillance and early warning.

Accurate analysis of metal nanoparticles(MNPs)in sediments is a prerequisite for assessing the ecological risks of MNPs in aquatic environmental sediments. In this study,an analytical method for quantitative detection of concentration and particle size distribution of silver-containing nanoparticles(Ag-NPs),zinc-containing nanoparticles(Zn-NPs),cerium-containing nanoparticles(Ce-NPs),and titanium-containing nanoparticles(Ti-NPs)in sediments was established based on ultrasonic extraction-single particle inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(SP-ICP-MS).The effects of sample preparation conditions such as extraction solvent type,solid-liquid ratio, ultrasonic time, and settling time on the recovery of MNPs were investigated. The results showed that the extraction of MNPs from sediment by distilled water could effectively eliminate the high background signal interference introduced by the extractant under the conditions of solid-liquid ratio of 1∶400(g∶mL),ultrasonic extraction time of 1 h and settling time of 3 h.The detection limits for particle size of Ag-NPs,Zn-NPs,Ce-NPs and Ti-NPs in sediments were 31,35,26 and 85 nm,respectively, while the detection limits of particle concentrations were 1.21×104,1.90×104,5.26×107 and 1.48×107 particles/g,respectively.The spiking recoveries of Ag-NPs,Zn-NPs,Ce-NPs and Ti-NPs in sediments were 62.1%-108.7%,with relative standard deviations below 10%.This method could rapidly, accurately and simultaneously determine the concentration and particle size distribution of various MNPs in sediments, and was successfully applied to analysis of Ag-NPs,Zn-NPs,Ce-NPs,and Ti-NPs in authentic marine sediments.
