Objective To analyze the case data of farmers' foodborne disease surveillance reports in Guizhou Province from 2022 to 2024, and to provide reference for the precise prevention and control of foodborne diseases among farmers in Guizhou Province. Methods Case data of foodborne disease surveillance reports of farmers were systematically collected from 2022 to 2024 in Guizhou Province. Descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the temporal, geographical, and demographic distribution of foodborne diseases among farmers, along with their primary clinical symptoms and pathogen detection results. Results From 2022 to 2024, a total of 22,882 cases of foodborne diseases were reported among farmers in Guizhou Province. The majority of clinical symptoms (97.81%) were related to the digestive system, with summer being the peak season. While females outnumbered males, the gender difference was statistically insignificant (P >0.05). The 36-55 age group accounted for the highest proportion (38.83%), with Zunyi City (34.89%) and Qiandongnan Prefecture (23.21%) reporting the most cases. Fungal products were the most frequently reported suspected food items (26.96%), and home-made preparation was the primary processing method (58.63%). A total of 1 210 fecal samples were collected through active monitoring with an overall detection rate of 13.22%. Norovirus showed the highest detection rate (9.92%, 120/1 210). Statistically significant differences were observed among different seasons, age groups, regions, types and processing methods of suspected food exposure, and pathogen detection rates (P <0.001). Conclusion Foodborne disease prevention and control among farmers in Guizhou Province should focus on the risks of wild mushroom poisoning in summer and homemade foods, and continuously improve farmers' awareness of the dangers of foodborne diseases and food safety.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of salidroside （SAL） on the impaired bioactivity of endothelial progenitor cells （EPCs） in atherosclerotic （As） mice and the potential mechanisms regarding AMP-activated protein kinase （AMPK）. MethodsAtherosclerosis was induced in 8-week-old male ApoE^-/- mice with high-fat diet. Intragastric administration of SAL was given to one mice group to investigate the effects of SAL on aortic plaque burden， plasma NO level， the migration and angiogenic capabilities of bone marrow-derived EPCs （BM-EPCs）. The proliferation， migration and vasculogenic properties of EPCs isolated from As mice were investigated in vitro. AMPK-sh-RNA or the AMPK inhibitor Compound C was used to investigate the role of AMPK/Akt/eNOS pathway in the regulatory effects of SAL. ResultsCompared with As group， NO level was significantly elevated in SAL group. The sizes of atherosclerotic plaques at the aortic root were reduced with smaller lipid cores in SAL group compared with As group. Moreover， the migration and angiogenesis capacity of EPCs markedly decreased in As mice， while SAL treatment reversed these impairments. Incubation with SAL at concentrations of 20， 40， and 80 μmol/L for 48 hours significantly promoted the proliferation， migration， and angiogenesis of EPCs. AMPK-sh-RNA transfection abrogated the 20 μmol/L SAL improvement in EPC biological activities. Western blot analysis further demonstrated that treatment with Compound C blocked the activation of AMPK/Akt/eNOS signaling pathway induced by SAL. ConclusionSAL upregulates the biological functions of EPCs through activating the AMPK/Akt/eNOS signaling pathway， thereby ameliorating EPC dysfunction during the pathological progression of atherosclerosis.

ObjectiveThis paper aims to observe the syndrome improvement and negative antigen conversion rate of Qingxuan Daozhi formula in the treatment of influenza in children （heat accumulation in the lung and stomach syndrome）. MethodsThrough a multi-center randomized controlled methodology design，confirmed influenza cases were collected from October 2022 to April 2023 in the pediatrics department of eight hospitals，such as Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. A total of 180 children with influenza and heat accumulation in the lung and stomach syndrome conforming to the standard were recruited through the clinic. The sick children meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into groups by a block-randomized method. The children in the experimental group were treated with Qingxuan Daozhi formula for five days，and those in the control group were treated with Oseltamivir Phosphate Granules for five days. The primary efficacy indicator was the negative conversion rate of influenza antigen detection. Secondary efficacy indicators were the Canadian acute respiratory illness and flu scale （CARIFS） and the incidence of complications，severe cases， and critical cases. Follow-up observation was conducted on the day of enrollment，48 hours after medication，72 hours after medication， and （6+1） d after medication. ResultsOne hundred and eighty participants were randomly assigned to the experimental group （90 cases） or the control group （90 cases）. All participants were followed up during the study. Comparison of influenza antigen detection results in the primary efficacy indicators showed that the average time of negative influenza antigen conversion in the experimental group was （5.29±1.25） d，and that in the control group was （5.40±1.68） d，without a statistically significant difference. After five days of intervention，52 cases in the experimental group and 51 cases in the control group converted to negative，without a statistically significant difference. CARIFS score results in the secondary efficacy indicators showed that during 72 hours after intervention，there were statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in three dimensions， including headache，muscle soreness， and the need for extra care （P<0.05）. On the （6+1） days after the intervention，the differences in both the experimental group and the control group were statistically significant in 10 dimensions， including sore throat，bad sleep，uncomfortable feeling，poor spirit and fatigue，crying more than usual，the need for extra care，symptom，function，influence on parents，and total score （P<0.05）. The comparison results within the group in the dimensional scores of symptom， function， and influence on parents，as well as the CARIFS total score showed that with the delay of follow-up time，scores of both groups decreased significantly，with a statistically significant difference （P<0.01）. Inter-group comparison results showed that the mean score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group at the time of enrollment. With the progress of intervention，the score of the experimental group was significantly decreased compared with that of the control group. At the end of follow-up，the mean score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group，with no statistically significant difference. In terms of the incidence of complications，severe cases， and critical cases， there were no complications，severe cases， and critical cases in the two groups，without a statistically significant difference. ConclusionThe symptom improvement effect and negative antigen conversion rate of Qingxuan Daozhi formula in the treatment of influenza in children （heat accumulation in the lung and stomach syndrome） are not inferior to Oseltamivir Phosphate granules， and children's acceptance is better. It can be more widely used in clinical treatment of influenza in children （heat accumulation in the lung and stomach syndrome）.

OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical characteristics of the nontuberculous Mycobacteria pulmonary dis-ease(NTMPD)patients with previous pulmonary tuberculosis(PPTB)and analyze the clinical difference from the recurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis.METHODS By means of retrospective survey,the patients who were diag-nosed with NTMPD and recurrent pulmonary tuberculosis in Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital from Mar.2021 to Oct.2023 were recruited as the research subjects,a total of 395 patients with NTMPD were enrolled in the study and were divided into the PPTB-NTMPD group with 92 cases and the NPPTB-NTMPD group with 303 cases according to the history of PPTB.The baseline data,clinical symptoms,imaging findings,underlying diseases,pulmonary diseases,and species of nontuberculous Mycobacteria(NTM)were observed and compared.Totally 92 patients with recurrent pulmonary tuberculosis were randomly screened and assigned as the recurrent pulmonary tuberculo-sis group in a 1:1 ratio by matching the PPTB-NTMPD group with the gender and age.The major clinical charac-teristics were compared between the two groups.The 92 patients with PPTB-NTMPD were divided into the 1-10 years group with 40 cases,the 10-30 years group with 37 cases,and the more than 30 years group with 15 cases according to the interval between the initial diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis and the diagnosis of NTMPD.The major clinical characteristics were compared among the groups.RESULTS The age was(64.21±10.71)years old in the PPTB-NTMPD group,(60.26±11.83)years old in the NPPTB-NTMPD group(t=3.020,P=0.003).The proportion of patients with body mass index less than 18.5 kg/m2 was 59.78％in the PPTB-NTMPD group,41.25％in the NPPTB-NTMPD group(x2=6.155,P=0.013);the proportion of patients with cough was 77.17％in the PPTB-NTMPD group,65.68％in the NPPTB-NTMPD group(x2=4.313,P=0.038);the inci-dence of cavitary shadow was 50.00％in the PPTB-NTMPD group,35.31％in the NPPTB-NTMPD group(x2=6.414,P=0.011);the incidence of emphysema and pulmonary bullae was 29.35％in the PPTB-NTMPD group,12.87％in the NPPTB-NTMPD group(x2=13.766,P＜0.001);the incidence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)was 22.83％in the PPTB-NTMPD group,14.19％in the NPPTB-NTMPD group(x2=3.875,P=0.049);the incidence of damaged lung was 9.78％in the PPTB-NTMPD group,2.97％in the NPPTB-NT-MPD group(x2=7.530,P=0.014);there were significant differences.Mycobacterium intracellulare and Myco-bacterium abscessus were the predominant species of NTM in both the PPTB-NTMPD group and the NPPTB-NT-MPD group,there was no significant difference in the distribution of NTM species between the two groups of pa-tients.The incidence of patch shadow of the PPTB-NTMPD group was lower than that of the recurrent pulmonary tuberculosis group(P＜0.05),the incidence of bronchiectatic shadow of the PPTB-NTMPD group was higher than that of the recurrent pulmonary tuberculosis group(P＜0.05).There were significant differences in the age,incidence of pleural thickening and incidence of COPD among the patients with different time intervals between ini-tial diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis and the diagnosis of NTMPD in the PPTB-NTMPD group(P＜0.05).CONCLUSIONS The previous pulmonary tuberculosis mainly affect the body mass index less than 18.5 kg/m2 and the post-tuberculosis pulmonary diseases such as cough,pulmonary cavity,emphysema,pulmonary bullae,COPD and damaged lung of the NTMPD patients.The NTMPD patients with previous pulmonary tuberculosis are more likely to have bronchiectasia than the patients with recurrent tuberculosis.It is necessary for the clinicians to attach great importance.

Objective:This study aimed to integrate RNA-seq data to identify key genes associated with macrophage-ferroptosis and develop a prognostic model for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:We retrieved a dataset from the GEO database containing transcriptome data and clinical information for 163 samples.Macrophage-related genes were identified using WGCNA and immune infiltration analyses.Ferroptosis-related genes from the FerrDbV2 database were intersected with differentially expressed genes to obtain significant macrophage-ferroptosis-related genes.Hub genes were screened via protein interaction network construction,and key genes were identified using four machine learning algorithms.These genes exhibited significant expression differences between cancer and normal tissues and were closely linked to patient prognosis.ROC curve and KM survival analyses were performed,and expression levels were validated at the transcriptome and proteome levels.Results:Four key genes RRM2,KIF20A,PCK2,and PDK4 were identified and evaluated.RRM2 and KIF20A demonstrated high importance in classification prediction models and reliable performance in ROC and KM analyses(AUC＞0.9,P＜0.05).These genes regulate cancer cell proliferation/survival and macrophage polarization/function,influencing the tumor microenvironment and HCC progression.Conclusion:RRM2 and KIF20A regulate cancer cell proliferation and survival,modulate macrophage polarization and function,and influence the immune response in the tumor microenvironment.They can serve as prognostic biomarkers and potential immunotherapy targets for hepatocellular carcinoma.

Objective:To analyze the evolution and diffusion characteristics of policies related to life expectancy(LE)and healthy life expectancy(HLE)in China from 1982 to 2024 using a biometric approach to policy analysis,revealing the patterns of policy diffusion.Methods:By retrieving databases such as PKULAW.com,We comprehensively collected 701 policy documents closely related to LE and HLE during the period(including 62 central policies and 639 local policies),the policy diffusion process was quantified in four dimensions:diffusion intensity,diffusion breadth,diffusion speed and diffusion direction by using the policy—reference network analysis method.Results:Related policy has gone through the germination period(1982-2001),the development period(2002-2010),the rapid rise period(2011-2015)and the four stages of innovation and pioneering period(2016—present).Policy diffusion is influenced by the hierarchical level of the issuing institution,policy type,and regional economic development level.Policies promulgated by central institutions exhibit stronger and broader diffusion,with guideline—type policies diffusing most widely.The diffusion rate follows a trend of"initial growth,followed by deceleration,and then a slight increase."The primary diffusion directions are vertical diffusion from central to local levels and horizontal diffusion among peers.Conclusion:The diffusion of policies related to LE and HLE is characterized by significant stages,regions and levels.

Aim To investigate the protective effect of liraglutide(LIRA)on acetaminophen(APAP)-in-duced hepatotoxicity at the in vivo level and to reveal the underlying mechanism.Methods Forty SPF grade male C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into the Control,LIRA(200 μg·kg-1),APAP(500 mg·kg-1),LIRA+APAP,LIRA+APAP+3-methylade-nine(3-MA,30 mg·kg-1)groups,with eight mice in each group.The mice were administered for three con-secutive days,and the materials were taken after 24 h.The general condition and body weight of mice in each group were recorded,and liver morphology was ob-served.Serum ALT and AST levels,as well as SOD ac-tivity,MDA,and GSH content in liver homogenates,were measured using biochemical assay kits.The levels of inflammatory cytokines IL-6,TNF-α,and IL-1β in serum were detected by ELISA.Liver pathological changes were assessed by HE staining,while mitochon-drial and autophagosome structures in liver tissues were observed using transmission electron microscopy.The number of PCNA-positive cells in liver tissues was e-valuated using immunohistochemical staining.The pro-tein expression levels of LC3Ⅱ,p62,Bax,Bcl-2,PC-NA,and CyclinD1 in liver tissues were determined by Western blot.Results LIRA pretreatment can im-prove the general condition of mice with acetamino-phen-induced liver injury(AILI),reduce serum ALT and AST levels,and effectively ameliorate the appear-ance and morphology of the liver as well as the patho-logical damage to liver tissue.Simultaneously,the lev-els of inflammatory cytokines IL-6,TNF-α,and IL-1βare significantly decreased;SOD activity and GSH con-tent are significantly increased,while MDA content is significantly reduced.Transmission electron microsco-py observations reveal the presence of numerous auto-phagosomes in the cytoplasm of liver tissue.Immuno-histochemical staining results indicate a significant in-crease in the number of PCNA-positive cells.Further-more,the expression of LC3Ⅱ,Bcl-2,PCNA,and Cy-clinD1 proteins in liver tissue is significantly upregulat-ed,while the expression of p62 and Bax proteins is significantly downregulated.However,after interven-tion with the autophagy inhibitor 3-MA,the aforemen-tioned protective effects of LIRA are significantly.Conclusions LIRA pretreatment can significantly im-prove liver injury in AILI mice.Its protective mecha-nism may be related to enhancing autophagy in hepato-cytes,thereby reducing oxidative stress,inflammatory response and apoptosis in liver of AILI mice.

Aim To study the therapeutic effect of al-licin on senna-induced diarrhea in mice and to explore the underlying mechanism.Methods Forty-eight C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into six groups:control,model,loperamide positive control group(2 mg·kg-1),allicin low-dose group(6 mg·kg-1),allicin medium-dose group(12 mg·kg-1)and allicin high-dose group(18 mg·kg-1).Except for the con-trol group,the diarrhea model was induced in the other groups by intragastric administration of senna leaf ex-tract.After drug administration,several diarrhea indi-ces were measured:the rate of loose stools,diarrhea index,accumulated frequency of loose stools at differ-ent time points within 5 hours,and small intestine pro-pelling rate.Serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 were de-tected by ELISA.Serum NO content was determined u-sing the Griess method.The activities of SOD and CAT,as well as MDA content in the ileum and colon,were measured.The pathological changes and the ex-pression of mRNA related to intestinal barrier proteins in the ileum and colon were evaluated using HE stai-ning and RT-qPCR.Results Allicin improved diar-rhea symptoms in mice induced by senna leaf.It re-duced the rate of loose stools,diarrhea index,cumula-tive number of loose stools in five hours,and the intes-tinal propulsion rate.Allicin also protected the intesti-nal mucosa,decreased serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels,and lowered MDA content in the intestines.It in-creased serum NO levels and enhanced SOD and CAT activities in the intestines.Additionally,allicin upreg-ulated the mRNA expression of AQP1,AQP4,and ZO-1 in intestinal tissues.Conclusions Allicin has a significant therapeutic effect on senna-induced diarrhea in mice.The underlying molecular mechanisms may involve anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects,in-creased NO content,and upregulation of mRNA ex-pression of aquaporins and tight-junction proteins.

Objective:This study employs a combination of single-cell sequencing and Mendelian randomization to explore the genetic associations and molecular mechanisms of Eomes in RCC.Methods:In this study,single-cell transcriptomic data from RCC tissues and adjacent normal tissues were extracted from the GEO database.The data were analyzed using R language and various packages such as Seurat,limma,and CellChat for cell cluster annotation,intercellular communication analysis,and differential expression analysis.Additionally,eQTL data related to differentially expressed genes were retrieved from the GWAS database as exposure variables,with RCC used as the outcome variable in Mendelian randomization analysis to identify the role of Eomes in RCC.Finally,GO functional enrichment and KEGG pathway analyses were conducted to explore the potential molecular mechanisms of Eomes.Results:Single-cell RNA sequencing revealed that B cells play a significant role in the heterogeneity of RCC.Mendelian randomization analysis indicated that Eomes is an important risk factor for RCC(P＜0.05).Furthermore,seven highly correlated specific SNPs were identified,including rs 17021298,rs2247056,rs2617170,rs3806624,rs55908509,rs6590334,and rs9420589.GO and KEGG enrichment analyses suggest that Eomes may be involved in early cell fate determination in renal cell carcinoma and participate in the regulation of Th1 and Th2 cell differentiation,HPV infection,and the Notch signaling pathway.Conclusions:This study is the first to combine single-cell sequencing and Mendelian randomization analysis in RCC,confirming a strong positive causal relationship between Eomes and RCC(OR＞1).Our findings offer new insights into the pathogenesis of RCC,suggesting that Eomes could serve as a novel target for early diagnosis and personalized treatment of RCC.

Objective To observe the value of 68Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT for diagnosing pheochromocytoma(PCC)and paraganglioma(PGL).Methods Thirty-eight patients with suspected or confirmed PCC/PGL who underwent 68 Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT were retrospectively enrolled,among them 20 cases underwent 131I-metaiodobenzylguanidine(MIBG)SPECT/CT during the same period.The value of 68Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT for diagnosing PCC/PGL at individual and lesion levels were analyzed and compared to the results of 131I-MIBG SPECT/CT.Results Among 38 cases,there were 20 cases of PCC,14 cases of PGL,1 case of adrenocortical carcinoma and 3 cases of benign adrenal hyperplasia.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value and accuracy of 68 Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT for diagnosing PCC/PGL in all 38 cases was 87.88％(29/33),60.00％(3/5),93.55％(29/31),42.86％(3/7)and 84.21％(32/38),respectively.Totally 188 lesions were detected in 34 cases,with detection rate of 89.95％(188/209).For 20 patients who underwent both 2 kinds examinations,the detection rate of bone,lymph node,liver,lung metastases and the overall lesions of 68Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT were all higher than those of 131I-MIBG SPECT/CT(all P＜0.05).No significant difference of diagnostic accuracy of PCC/PGL was found between 68 Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT and 131I-MIBG SPECT/CT(P＞0.05).Conclusion The value of 68 Ga-DOTA-NOC PET/CT for diagnosing PCC/PGL was comparable to that of 131I-MIBG SPECT/CT,but the former showed higher detection rate of metastases,hence being helpful to staging and risk stratification of PCC/PGL.
