Objective To investigate the clinical outcomes of cranioplasty with polyether ether ketone(PEEK)or titanium after large craniectomy in patients.Methods Clinical data of 150 patients undergoing skull repair due to large frontotemporal skull defect in our hospital from April 2018 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed,and they were divided into titanium mesh group and PEEK group according to different repair materials.The conditions of surgical site infection,bleeding,subcutaneous effusion,seizure,implant rupture or exposure in the two groups were compared.Results In the PEEK group,96.3％of patients needed to implant the repair material under the temporal muscle,which was significantly higher than that in the titanium mesh group(78.1％)(P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in postoperative complications including infection,bleeding,seizure,implant rupture or leakage between the two groups(P＞0.05).However,the incidence of postoperative subcutaneous effusion in PEEK group was higher than that in titanium mesh group(14.8％VS4.2％,P＜0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion Both titanium and PEEK can be used in cranioplasty for patients with large frontotemporal cranial defects.Subcutaneous effusion is common in patients underwent cranioplasty with PEEK postoperatively,which needs to be paid more attention.

Objective To establish a sensitive,accurate and simple method for the determination of methotrexate and methotrexate polyglutamates(MTXPG2 and MTXPG3)in human erythrocytes.Methods A dual three element gradient liquid chromatograph with a fluorescence detector was used,the C18-WP column(20 mm ×4 mm,5μm)was used as the online SPE column,and the Athena C18-WP column(150 mm x4.6 mm,3 μm)was used as the analytical column.Erythrocyte lysate was precipitated with zinc sulphate-10％formic acid methanol(100:90,v/v),and postcolumn photo-oxidation of MTXPGs to fluorescent analytes using H2O2.The fluorescence excitation wavelength was 274 nm,the emission wavelength was 470 nm,the column temperature was 40 ℃,and the injection volume was 100 μL.The specificity,standard curve,lower limit of quantitation,precision,recovery and stability of the method were investigated.Results MTX,MTXPG2 and MTXPG3 had good linearity in the range of 12.5-400.0 nmol·L-1.The standard curve of MTX was y=763.8x-2 961.1(R2=0.999 5),and the extraction recovery rate was 60.7％-66.1％;the standard curve of MTXPG2 was y=1 017.8x-239.8(R2=0.998 4),and the extraction recovery rate was 67.2％-67.3％;the standard curve of MTXPG3 was y=1 069.1x-819.6(R2=0.999 4),the extraction recovery rate was 62.9％-70.1％.Intra-day precision RSD＜8.8％,inter-day precision RSD＜10.8％.Conclusion This method is accurate and reproducibility,and the online solid-phose extraction enrichment and separation of target compounds simplify the sample pretreatment steps,improve the analysis efficiency,and is suitable for detecting the concentration of MTX,MTXPG2 and MTXPG3 in erythrocytes of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Objective: To investigate the current status and influencing factors of emotional intelligence among postgraduates, so as to provide the evidence for promoting the mental health of postgraduates. Methods: The postgraduates from higher education institutions in Guizhou Province were selected using stratified cluster sampling method from November to December 2023. Demographic information such as gender, college, professional discipline and monthly family income were collected using questionnaire surveys. Stress perception was investigated using the Chinese version of the Stress Perception Scale. Emotional intelligence was investigated using the Chinese version of the Emotional Intelligence Scale. The influencing factors for emotional intelligence were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. Results: Totally 728 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 94.42%. There were 262 males (35.99%) and 466 females (64.01%). The mean score of emotional intelligence was (77.98±15.71) points, the mean score of emotional assessment was (20.57±4.50) points, the mean score of emotional regulation was (18.63±5.22) points, the mean score of emotional using was (18.90±4.87) points, and the mean score of emotional recognition was (19.89±4.73) points. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that professional discipline (economics and law, β'=0.108), monthly family income (3 000-5 000 yuan, β'=0.091; >5 000 yuan, β'=0.086) and stress perception (β'=-0.515) were associated with emotional intelligence among postgraduates. Conclusion The emotional intelligence among postgraduates was influenced by professional discipline, monthly family income and stress perception.

Objective To develop a self-care scale for patients with lymphedema after breast cancer surgery and verify its reliability and validity.Methods Based on the model of knowledge,belief and practice,a questionnaire item pool was constructed after literature reviews and qualitative interviews.A questionnaire-based scale was drafted based on the established item pool by carrying out two rounds of consultation with 15 clinical nursing specialists,nursing administrators and nursing educators from 8 provinces or cities in China.Reliability and validity of the scale were tested using convenience sampling,involving 444 patients with breast cancer surgery related lymphedema from 7 general hospitals in Hubei and Henan provinces,China,between May and July 2023.Results The response rates for the two rounds of expert consultation were 93.75%and 93.33%,respectively.The authority coefficients of the two rounds were 0.86 and 0.89,respectively,and the coordination coefficients for the 2 rounds were 0.130 and 0.379,respectively.In the first round,the average importance rating was from 4.33 to 4.93 with the coefficient of variation from 0.05 to 0.19,and the full score ratio from 53.33%to 93.33%.In the second round,the average importance rating ranged from 2.86 to 4.93 with the coefficient of variation from 0.05 to 0.36,and the full score ratios from 7.14%to 92.86%.A total of 421 patients completed the survey.The overall Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.943,the overall split-half reliability was 0.824,the scale-level content validity index(S-CVI)was 0.912,and the item-level content validity index(I-CVI)of the total scale ranged from 0.857 to 1.000.The KMO value of exploratory factor analysis was 0.919,the Bartrett spherical test value was 4671.724(P<0.001),and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 64.155%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed a good model fit.After the reliability and validity tests,the scale was finalised and determined to consist of three dimensions with 33 items:knowledge(9 items),attitude(6 items)and behaviour(18 items).Conclusion The self-care scale for the patients with lymphedema after breast cancer surgery has demonstrated good reliability and validity,and makes it an effective assessment tool for the patients with lymphedema after breast cancer surgery.

As an emerging drug delivery technology,microneedles can puncture the skin's stratum corneum to create micron-sized conduits,painlessly,minimally invasive,and efficiently deliver drugs into viable epidermis or dermis for local or systemic therapeutic effects.This paper reviews the current clinical trials of microneedles used in the treatment of various diseases,elaborates on the characteristics of various types of microneedles,and summarizes the latest research progress of microneedles used to treat skin tumors,including chemotherapy,photothermal and photodynamic therapy,immunotherapy,gene therapy,and combination therapy.This review provides ideas and directions for further research on microneedles in treating skin tumors.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of internet-based decision aids(DA)in colorectal cancer screening.Methods Randomized controlled trials of efficacy of internet-based DA in colorectal cancer screening were searched by computer from CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP,CBM,PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Embase and Web of Science.The retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to June 2023.Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the main contents and summarize their clinical application effects.Results A total of 12 literatures were included,including 6038 subjects,of which 3089 were in experimental group and 2949 were in control group.The results showed that the contents of internet-based DA mainly included basic information support,benefits and risks of colorectal cancer screening,and clarification of patients'personal values.It could help patients enhance screening willingness,improve informed decision-making ability,reduce decision-making conflicts,and promote the positive role of patients in decision-making.Patients have higher satisfaction with internet-based DA.Conclusion Internet-based DA has shown positive results in the application of colorectal cancer screening,and has unique advantages over the traditional paper version of the manual,but it still has certain limitations.In the future,we can learn from the relevant theoretical achievements of foreign decision-making assistance,research and develop a more comprehensive DA for colorectal cancer screening combined with China's national conditions.

The cobalt sulphide nickel ternary material(NiCo2S4)prepared by hydrothermal method in this work was combined with multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNT)for constructing an electrochemical sensor for quantitative detection of rutin.The morphology and crystal of the electrochemical materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometer,and the electrochemical behavior of the glassy carbon electrode(GCE)modified with NiCo2S4/MWCNT composites was investigated.The experimental results showed that the electrochemical redox process of two electrons and two protons occurred on the surface of modified electrode NiCo2S4/MWCNT/GCE.Under the optimized conditions,the linear range for detection of rutin by square-wave voltammetry(SWV)using this sensor was 0.06-14.8 μmol/L and the detection limit was 14.3 nmol/L.The electrochemical sensor was sensitive,simple and low-cost,with good reproducibility and reliable stability,and could be used for detection of rutin in real samples such as compound rutin tablets and color chrysanthemi tablets,with spiked recoveries of 99.5%-102.0%.

Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics, cytogenetics, molecular biology, treatment, and prognosis of patients with therapy-related myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia (t-MDS/AML) secondary to malignancies. Methods: The clinical data of 86 patients with t-MDS/AML in West China Hospital of Sichuan University between January 2010 and April 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical characteristics, primary tumor types, and tumor-related therapies were analyzed. Results: The study enrolled a total of 86 patients with t-MDS/AML, including 67 patients with t-AML, including 1 patient with M(0), 6 with M(1), 27 with M(2), 9 with M(3), 12 with M(4), 10 with M(5), 1 with M(6), and 1 with M(7). Sixty-two patients could be genetically stratified, with a median overall survival (OS) of 36 (95% CI 22-52) months for 20 (29.9%) patients in the low-risk group and 6 (95% CI 3-9) months for 10 (14.9%) in the intermediate-risk group. The median OS time was 8 (95% CI 1-15) months in 32 (47.8%) patients in the high-risk group. For patients with non-acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) and AML, the median OS of the low-risk group was 27 (95% CI 18-36) months, which was significantly longer than that of the non-low-risk group (χ(2)=5.534, P=0.019). All 9 APL cases were treated according to the initial treatment, and the median OS was not reached, and the 1-, 2-, and 3-year OS rates were 100.0%, (75.0±6.2) %, and (75.0±6.2) % respectively. Of the 58 patients with non-APL t-AML (89.7%), 52 received chemotherapy, and 16 achieved complete remission (30.8%) after the first induction chemotherapy. The 1-, 2-, and 3-year OS rates of the non-APL t-AML group were (42.0 ± 6.6) %, (22.9±5.7) %, and (13.4±4.7) %, respectively. The median OS of patients who achieved remission was 24 (95% CI 18-30) months, and the median OS of those who did not achieve remission was 6 (95% CI 3-9) months (χ(2)=10.170, P=0.001). Bone marrow CR was achieved in 7 (53.8%) of 13 patients treated with vineclar-containing chemotherapy, with a median OS of 12 (95% CI 9-15) months, which was not significantly different from that of vineclar-containing chemotherapy (χ(2)=0.600, P=0.437). In 19 patients with t-MDS, the 1-, 2-, and 3-year OS rates were (46.8±11.6) %, (17.5±9.1) %, and (11.7±9.1) % with a median OS of 12 (95% CI 7-17) months, which was not significantly different from that in t-AML (χ(2)=0.232, P=0.630) . Conclusions: Breast cancer, bowel cancer, and other primary tumors are common in patients with t-MDS/AML, which have a higher risk of adverse genetics. Patients with APL had a high induction remission rate and a good long-term prognosis, whereas patients without APL had a low remission rate and a poor long-term prognosis.

Objective: To investigate the impact of molecular classification and key oncogenes on the oncologic outcomes in patients with endometrial carcinoma (EC) and atypical endometrial hyperplasia (AEH) receiving fertility-preserving treatment. Methods: Patients with EC and AEH undergoing progestin-based fertility-preserving treatment and receiving molecular classification as well as key oncogenes test at Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Fudan University from January 2021 to March 2023 were reviewed. Hysteroscopic lesion resection and endometrial biopsy were performed before initiating hormone therapy and every 3 months during the treatment to evaluate the efficacy. The risk factors which had impact on the treatment outcomes in EC and AEH patients were further analyzed. Results: Of the 171 patients analyzed, the median age was 32 years, including 86 patients with EC and 85 patients with AEH. The distribution of molecular classification was as follows: 157 cases (91.8%) were classified as having no specific molecular profile (NSMP); 9 cases (5.3%), mismatch repair deficient (MMR-d); 3 cases (1.8%), POLE-mutated; 2 cases (1.2%), p53 abnormal. No difference was found in the cumulative 40-week complete response (CR) rate between the patients having NSMP or MMR-d (61.6% vs 60.0%; P=0.593), while the patients having MMR-d had increased risk than those having NSMP to have recurrence after CR (50.0% vs 14.4%; P=0.005). Multi-variant analysis showed PTEN gene multi-loci mutation (HR=0.413, 95%CI: 0.259-0.658; P<0.001) and PIK3CA gene mutation (HR=0.499, 95%CI: 0.310-0.804; P=0.004) were associated with a lower cumulative 40-week CR rate, and progestin-insensitivity (HR=3.825, 95%CI: 1.570-9.317; P=0.003) and MMR-d (HR=9.014, 95%CI: 1.734-46.873; P=0.009) were independent risk factors of recurrence in EC and AEH patients. Conclusions: No difference in cumulative 40-week CR rate is found in the patients having NSMP or MMR-d who received progestin-based fertility-preserving treatment, where the use of hysteroscopy during the treatment might be the reason, while those having MMR-d have a higher risk of recurrence after CR. Oncogene mutation of PTEN or PIK3CA gene might be associated with a lower response to progestin treatment. The molecular profiles help predict the fertility-preserving treatment outcomes in EC and AEH patients.

【Objective】 Dyslipidemia has shown to be associated with cardiovascular, metabolic and renal diseases. This study aimed to investigate the association between residual cholesterol and the risk of subclinical renal damage (SRD). 【Methods】 A total of 2 342 participants were recruited from the previously established Hanzhong Adolescent Hypertension Study cohort. According to estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) and urinary albumin-to-creatine ratio(uACR), the subjects were divided into SRD group and non-SRD group. The associations of residual cholesterol with eGFR, uACR, and the risk of SRD were analyzed by multiple linear and Logistic regression analyses. 【Results】 Residual cholesterol was positively correlated with uACR(r=0.081, P<0.001) but negatively correlated with eGFR (r=-0.091, P<0.001). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that residual cholesterol was an influencing factor of uACR (β=0.075, P<0.001) and eGFR (β=-0.027, P<0.001) after adjustment for gender, age, smoke, alcohol, exercise, BMI, hypertension, diabetes and serum uric acid. In addition, Logistic regression analysis revealed that residual cholesterol was significantly associated with the risk of SRD independently of potential confounders [OR(95% CI)=1.387 (1.113-1.728), P<0.001]. Further subgroup analysis showed that residual cholesterol was significantly associated with the risk of SRD in women but not in men. 【Conclusion】 Residual cholesterol is a contributing factor in the risk of subclinical renal damage with gender-specific association.
