ObjectiveTo investigate somatization symptoms in adolescents during frequent earthquakes in Hefei, and to explore their correlation with earthquake experiences. MethodsA cross-sectional survey was used to select 324 adolescents in Hefei as the survey objects. The self-rating scale of somatization symptoms (SSS) and the fatigue intensity scale (FIS) were used to evaluate the somatization symptoms and fatigue degree of middle school students, and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the related factors of somatization symptoms and fatigue among middle school students. ResultsA total of 324 adolescents were included, and the overall detection rate of somatization symptoms was 6.5%, and the detection rate of moderate or above fatigue was 20.1%. The results of regression analysis showed that adolescents who were concerned about the earthquake for a longer time (≥1 h) had a higher risk of somatization symptoms (OR=5.430, 95%CI: 1.547-19.058), and adolescents who received pre-earthquake training had a lower degree of fatigue (OR=0.535, 95%CI: 0.292-0.981) (P<0.05). ConclusionDuring the frequent earthquakes, adolescents have more somatization symptoms and fatigue. Therefore, it is crucial to enhance health education, reduce the emphasis on event-related reports, and implement earthquake prevention and disaster reduction training to improve the physical and mental health of adolescents.

Objective:To construct and evaluate a risk warning model for enteral nutrition associated diarrhea(ENAD)in acute stroke patients based on logistic regression and Nomogram. Methods:This study was a retrospective study,a total of 172 patients with acute stroke who were admitted to Yancheng First People's Hospital from January 2022 to May 2024 were selected, and clinical data of patients were collected.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify the influencing factors of ENAD occurrence, based on the results of the multivariate logistic regression analysis,a Nomogram warning model was constructed, the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was applied to analyze the predictive value of the Nomogram warning model for the risk of ENAD occurrence in patients with acute stroke. Results:Univariate analysis showed that, the occurrence of ENAD in patients with acute stroke was related to fasting time, mechanical ventilation, oral potassium preparations, albumin, number of types of antibiotics used, acute physiology and chronic health status Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ)score, enteral nutrition infusion rate, length of stay in the intensive care unit(ICU),use of proton pump inhibitors, duration of antibiotic use,use of gastrointestinal prokinetic drugs, and daily enteral nutrition infusion volume(P<0.05).The results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that, high APACHE Ⅱ score, prolonged use of antibiotics, low albumin, use of gastrointestinal prokinetic drugs, oral potassium preparations, prolonged fasting time, and rapid enteral nutrition infusion were risk factors for ENAD in patients with acute stroke(P<0.05).Construct and validate a Nomogram warning model based on the results of multiple logistic regression analysis. After evaluation, the model fits well with an area under the curve(AUC)of 0.823,indicating high predictive value for ENAD occurrence in patients with acute stroke. Conclusion:High APACHE Ⅱ score, prolonged use of antibiotics, low albumin, use of gastrointestinal prokinetic drugs, oral potassium preparations, prolonged fasting time, and rapid enteral nutrition infusion are risk factors for ENAD in patients with acute stroke. The Nomogram warning model constructed based on the above indicators has high predictive value for the occurrence of ENAD in patients with acute stroke.

Bovine rotavirus(BRV)is an important pathogen causing diarrhea in calves. To understand the genomic charac-teristics and genetic variations in bovine rotavirus, and to further enrich data on the biological characteristics of rotavirus,we aimed to amplify 11 gene segments of the isolated and cultured G6P[1]bovine rotavirus BLL strain, perform whole genome se-quencing,and analyze the molecular characteristics.MEGA7.0 and DNAMAN software were used for homology and typing a-nalysis,and the whole genome phylogenetic tree was constructed to analyze genetic evolution relationships. The complete geno-type of the BLL strain was G6-P[1]-I2-R2-C2-M2-A3-N2-T6-E2-H3.Phylogenetic analysis of the VP7 and VP4 genes of the BLL strain showed that the VP7 gene had the highest homology with RVA/Cow-wt/HB01/China/2021,and the VP4 gene of the BLL strain was in the same branch as RVA/Human-tc/ISR/Ro8059/1995.From the sequence alignment of VP8*amino acids, the sialic acid domain of the BLL strain was found to be similar to that in other P[1]strains,but different from those in other types of strains, except for residue 189,which was the same as that in Ro8059 but different from that in other strains. The results suggested that the BLL strain might potentially infect humans. Therefore, continued monitoring and study of the biological characteristics of this strain are necessary to provide more information and evidence supporting further research on the cross-species transmission of group A rotavirus in China.

Objective:To investigate the radiation field distribution characteristics in a 9 MeV electron FLASH (e-FLASH) linear accelerator treatment room. Methods:The Geant4 Monte Carlo program was employed for physical simulating of the radiation field distribution inside and outside the treatment room under a single-beam delivery condition with a total dose of 50 Gy at the reference point and a dose rate of 250 Gy/s. High-sensitivity radiation detectors (AT1123) were used to validate the measurements at key points. Results:The dose rate at the reference point was approximately 9×10 11 μSv/h. Due to the scattering and shielding effects, the deviation of the attenuation rate from the inverse-square law was observed and the isodose lines exhibited spatial drift. Measured dose rates at key points showed good agreement with the simulation result, with a maximum deviation within 30%. Conclusions:The complex radiation field distribution can be effectively simulated using Geant4 in an e-FLASH treatment room. This indicated the Geant4 is not only applicable for the shielding calculations in e-FLASH radiotherapy facilities, but also for the design optimization through, reduction of trial-and-error iterations and engineering costs.

OBJECTIVE:
Circadian rhythm disruption (CRD) is a risk factor that correlates with poor prognosis across multiple tumor types, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, its mechanism remains unclear. This study aimed to define HCC subtypes based on CRD and explore their individual heterogeneity.
METHODS:
To quantify CRD, the HCC CRD score (HCCcrds) was developed. Using machine learning algorithms, we identified CRD module genes and defined CRD-related HCC subtypes in The Cancer Genome Atlas liver HCC cohort (n = 369), and the robustness of this method was validated. Furthermore, we used bioinformatics tools to investigate the cellular heterogeneity across these CRD subtypes.
RESULTS:
We defined three distinct HCC subtypes that exhibit significant heterogeneity in prognosis. The CRD-related subtype with high HCCcrds was significantly correlated with worse prognosis, higher pathological grade, and advanced clinical stages, while the CRD-related subtype with low HCCcrds had better clinical outcomes. We also identified novel biomarkers for each subtype, such as nicotinamide n-methyltransferase and myristoylated alanine-rich protein kinase C substrate-like 1.
CONCLUSION
We classify the HCC patients into three distinct groups based on circadian rhythm and identify their specific biomarkers. Within these groups greater HCCcrds was associated with worse prognosis. This approach has the potential to improve prediction of an individual's prognosis, guide precision treatments, and assist clinical decision making for HCC patients.
