PPG(photoplethysmography)holds significant application value in wearable and intelligent health devices. However, during the acquisition process,PPG signals can generate motion artifacts due to inevitable coupling motion, which diminishes signal quality. In response to the challenge of real-time detection of motion artifacts in PPG signals, this study analyzed the generation and significant features of PPG signal interference.Seven features were extracted from the pulse interval data, and those exhibiting notable changes were filtered using the dual-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The real-time detection of motion artifacts in PPG signals was ultimately based on decision trees. In the experimental phase,PPG signal data from 20 college students were collected to formulate the experimental dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves an average accuracy of(94.07±1.14)%,outperforming commonly used motion artifact detection algorithms in terms of accuracy and real-time performance.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of berberine (BBR) on morphine-induced activation of BV2 microglial cells. Methods:The BV2 microglial cells were divided into 3 groups ( n=12 each) using a random number table method: control group (C group), morphine group (Mor group)and morphine+ BBR group (Mor+ BBR group). The Mor group was treated for 24 h with a final concentration of 200 μmol/L morphine, while C group was treated for 24 h with an equal volume of PBS buffer. Mor+ BBR group was first treated for 2 h with a final concentration of 20 μmol/L berberine, followed by treatment with a final concentration of 200 μmol/L morphine for another 24 h. The viability of BV2 microglial cells was determined using the CCK-8 assay, the concentrations of interleukin-1beta (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and IL-10 in supernatant were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the expression of CD86 and NF-κB proteins in microglial cells was detected using Western blot. Results:Compared with group C, the BV2 microglial cell viability and concentrations of IL-1β and TNF-α were significantly increased, the concentrations of IL-10 were decreased, and the expression of CD86 and NF-κB in microglial cells was up-regulated in Mor group ( P<0.05). Compared with Mor group, the BV2 microglial cell viability and concentrations of IL-1β and TNF-α were significantly decreased, the concentrations of IL-10 were increased, and the expression of CD86 and NF-κB in microglial cells was down-regulated in Mor+ BBR group( P<0.05). Conclusions:BBR can inhibit morphine-induced activation of BV2 microglial cells.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) has become one major threat to human population health. The RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) presents an ideal target of antivirals, whereas nucleoside analogs inhibitor is hindered by the proofreading activity of coronavirus. Herein, we report that corilagin (RAI-S-37) as a non-nucleoside inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 RdRp, binds directly to RdRp, effectively inhibits the polymerase activity in both cell-free and cell-based assays, fully resists the proofreading activity and potently inhibits SARS-CoV-2 infection with a low 50% effective concentration (EC

Objective:
To understand the vaccination coverage and associated factors among children under 7 years old in rural areas of Ningxia in 2019, so as to provide a basis for better immunization plans and corresponding strategies in this region.
Methods:
A multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method was adopted to select 1 144 children under 7 years old and their families in three rural counties of Ningxia. Demographic information, as well as primary and secondary immunization was investigated. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was conducted on the relevant factors.
Results:
In Ningxia, the coverage rate of primary vaccines for children under 7 years of age for hepatitis B vaccine, BCG vaccine and dpt vaccine was above 95%, polio vaccine 83.7%, measles vaccine 38.6%, "five vaccines" 33.8%, and the coverage rate of secondary vaccines was only 4.9%. There were statistically significant differences in the total vaccination rates of "five seedlings" in different ages, per capita annual income of different families, and whether they had received a health examination in the past year (χ2=33.60,13.17,29.96,P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in the vaccination rates of secondary vaccines among different age groups, different inoculation units and whether received a physical examination in the last year (χ2=18.58, 8.45, 60.04, P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the age of children and whether received physical examination in the last year were the relevant factors affecting the total inoculation of five seedlings(P<0.05). Age of children and inoculation unit were the relevant influencing factors affecting the secondary immunization(P<0.05).
Conclusion
The primary vaccination rate for children under the age of 7 in rural areas of Ningxia is kept at a high level, but the secondary vaccination rate is relatively low. It is suggested to strengthen publicity and education and establish effective mechanisms to improve the vaccination rate and protect the health of children in rural areas.
