This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 43 patients with large-volume renal calculi treated with flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy (FURL)at our hospital from August 2020 to August 2023. Among the patients, 26 were male and 17 were female; 22 had left-sided stones and 21 had right-sided stones. Thirty-three patients had preoperative placement of a double-J (D-J)stent, while 10 did not. The mean age was (42.7±11.1)years, the mean stone volume was (10.3±3.5)cm 3, and the mean operative time was (97.9±10.4)minutes. All procedures were completed using reusable flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Twenty-two patients received traditional methods of stone expulsion after FURL (control group), while 21 patients received a combination of traditional methods and extracorporeal physical vibration lithotripsy (EPVL) after FURL (experimental group). The experimental group showed a significantly higher stone-free rate at one month (85.7% vs. 54.5%)and a lower reoperation rate (4.8% vs. 31.8%)compared to the control group. The difference in reoperation rates between the experimental and control groups was statistically significant ( P< 0.05). These results suggest that the combination of reusable ureteroscopic lithotripsy and EPVL is a feasible treatment option for large-volume renal calculi.

Purpose To explore the application value of cardiac magnetic resonance(CMR)mapping and strain techniques in assessing ventricular function changes in patients with severe alcohol use disorder(AUD).Materials and Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 32 male patients with severe AUD as the study group in Hefei Fourth People's Hospital from January 2023 to April 2024,compared with 30 age-and gender-matched healthy subjects as the control group.Clinical data and CMR results were collected for all participants.CMR parameters included conventional functional parameters such as left and right ventricular ejection fraction, volume index and mass index;tissue characterization parameters such as Native T1,T2 mapping and extracellular volume fraction(ECV);and strain parameters including global longitudinal strain(GLS),global circumferential strain(GCS)and global radial strain(GRS)for both ventricles. The differences in the above indexes between the two groups were compared. Results The left ventricular end-diastolic volume index in the AUD group was significantly higher than in the control group(t=3.799,P<0.001).The left ventricular strain values(GLS,GCS,GRS)in the AUD group were significantly lower than those in the control group(t=4.459,4.435,-4.759,all P<0.001).The Native T1,T2 and ECV in the AUD group were significantly higher than those in the control group(t=6.301,5.650,7.069,all P<0.001).For the right ventricle, only right ventricular GLS and right ventricular GCS were significantly lower than in the control group(t=8.703,-2.814,both P<0.01).Conclusion CMR feature tracking technology can early identify ventricular function abnormalities in AUD patients. The increase in Native T1,T2 mapping and ECV suggests the presence of myocardial edema and fibrosis in AUD patients, which is closely related to left ventricular dysfunction.Multi-parameter CMR evaluation provides important diagnostic evidence for the early detection of cardiac involvement in severe AUD patients.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, only through whole-hearted cooperation and joined efforts can medical institutions, governments, and social organizations cope with emergency, convert the crisis into opportunities, promote modern governance and accomplish high-quality development in the fight against the pandemic. Taking the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University as an example, this paper analyzes the all-media communication matrix of "one network platform, 3W + N" that the hospital established during the pandemic by combining the authoritative official website with WeChat, Wesee, Weibo and that other publicity media. The study explores how to create a publicity brand that is mindful, poignant, compassionate and devoted and maintains its scientific and refined management, so as to achieve the professional goal of educating the public, shouldering the responsibility in the combat against the pandemic, and taking the lead in the research on the pandemic.

Objective To analyse distribution and antibacterial resistance status of pathogenic bacteria isolated from blood cul‐tures of hospitalized infants ,in order to provide references for rational use of antimicrobial agents in the treatment of bloodstream infection .Methods A total of 299 strains of pathogenic bacteria isolated from positive blood culture specimens from infants(3 or less than 3 months of age) suspected with bloodstream infections in this hospital from January 2011 to May 2015 were collected ,the bacteria identification and drug sensitivity test were carried out by using the VITEK 2 Compact automatic microorganism analyzer . The composition and antibacterial resistance of these isolates were analyzed .Results Among the 299 strains of pathogenic bacteria , there were 169 strains of gram‐positive cocci(accounted for 56 .5% ) ,including 95 strains of coagulase negative Staphylococcus (ac‐counted for 31 .8% ) which was the main isolates ,and followed by 28 strains of Staphylococcus aureus(accounted for 9 .4% );there were 120 strains of gram‐negative bacilli (accounted for 40 .1% ) and mainly were Escherichia coli (53 strains ,accounted for 17 .7% );otherwise ,there were 8 strains of fungi (accounted for 2 .7% ) and 2 strains of gram‐positive bacillus (accounted for 0 .7% ) .The results of drug susceptibility test indicated that the gram‐positive cocci had multiple drug resistance to antibacterial a‐gents except for vancomycin and linezolid;the gram‐negative bacilli shown multiple drug resistance except for amikacin ,imipenem and meropenem .The fungus ,however ,displayed high sensitivty to all antifungal drugs .Conclusion Gram‐positive and gram‐nega‐tive bacteria are the main pathogens of hospitalized infants with bloodstream infection ,and are severely resistant to antibacterial a‐gents .Rational use of antimicrobial agents should be recommend for improving clinical efficacy and prohibiting the emergence of drug‐resistant strains .
