Objective:To assess the levels and abnormal rates of trace elements and vitamins among older patients in Beijing Hospital, and to analyze the correlations between these measured indicators. Methods:This study selected 49 older individuals who underwent physical examinations at Beijing Hospital between May 2021 and March 2024.The participants were divided into two age groups: 60-79 years old(23 cases)and 80-100 years old(26 cases). Levels' differences of trace elements and vitamins between the two age groups were analyzed.Pearson correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlations among the tested indicators, and multivariate analysis was conducted using a generalized linear regression model. Results:Among the 49 older individuals, the overall abnormal rate for trace element test results was 8.16%(4 cases), with 2 cases of iron(Fe)deficiency(4.08%)and 2 cases of calcium(Ca)deficiency(4.08%). The overall abnormal rate for vitamin test results was 24.49%(12 cases), which included 5 cases of vitamin B2 deficiency(10.20%), 1 case of vitamin C deficiency(2.04%), and 6 cases of vitamin D deficiency(12.24%). Statistically significant differences were observed between the two age groups in zinc(Zn)and vitamin C levels( t=2.84, 2.83; P=0.007, 0.007). Pearson correlation analysis revealed correlations among 19 pairs of indicators. The top five correlations were between plumbum(Pb)and cadmium(Cd)( r=0.769, P<0.001), Fe and manganese(Mn)( r=0.685, P<0.001), Ca and magnesium(Mg)( r=0.677, P<0.001), vitamin B12 and vitamin C( r=0.455, P=0.001), and vitamin B9 and vitamin D( r=0.422, P=0.003), respectively. The results of the multivariate analysis indicated that, after adjusting for the effects of age group and gender, statistical differences in correlations remained among the remaining trace elements and vitamins, except for those between vitamin B1 and vitamin B12, vitamin B1 and vitamin C, and vitamin A and vitamin D (all P<0.05). Conclusions:The deficiency rates of trace elements and vitamins remain notably high among older patients in our hospital, underscoring the necessity for enhanced nutritional supplementation and regular monitoring of trace element and vitamin levels within this population.Furthermore, a correlation exists between trace elements and vitamins, which offers valuable insights for the diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.

The column temperature was 25 ℃, and the detection wavelength was set at 220 and 280 nm. The specificity, system adaptability, linear relationship, limit of detection, limit of quantitation, recovery, precision, stability and repeatability of the HPLC-DAD technology in detection of the above 20 chemical drugs was evaluated. Results:The HPLC-DAD technology had good specificity in detection of 20 chemical drugs, and the drug concentration had good linear relationship with peak area within certain ranges (correlation coefficients r ≥0.999 8). The average recoveries of 9 injections of 20 chemical drugs at low, medium, and high concentrations were 98.68%-99.85%, and the relative standard deviations of peak area variation were 0.57%-1.16%. The precision, repeatability, and stability of the method in detecting 20 chemical drugs were good. The limits of detection and quantitation were 0.05-1.59 μg/ml and 0.16-5.09 μg/ml, respectively. The established method was used to test 6 samples, and nitrazepam was detected in 1 sample. Conclusions:The established method is accurate, easy to operate, and easy to promote. It can be used for the detection of 20 chemical drugs that may be added into sleep aid dietary supplements.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2021;37(3):161-167
Objective:To investigate the level of rumination and its influential factors among Chinese psychiatry nurses who go through work place violence. Methods:In this study, 150 psychiatry nurses were recruited from Affiliated Brain Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University (specialize in psychiatry), via the combination of convenient sampling and snowball sampling. Chinese Event-related Rumination Inventory (C-ERRI) was applied in the survey. Results:The total score of C-ERRI was (22.11±9.62) points, and the scores of intrusive rumination subscale and deliberate rumination subscale were (12.99±5.58) and (9.12±6.01) points, respectively. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis show that assault frequency in recent year ( B=-3.195, P<0.01) and whether got injury in the recent assault ( B=8.591, P<0.01) were predictors of deliberate rumination, which account for 26.8% variance of the equation. Gender (male) ( B=-2.415, P<0.01), Injury frequency in recent year ( B=2.864, P<0.01) and whether got injury in the recent assault ( B=8.949, P<0.01) were predictors of intrusive rumination. They account for 36.0% variance of the equation. Conclusion:In this study, the level of rumination among Chinese psychiatry nurses was low. Their rumination style was deliberate rumination.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and perinatal outcomes of listeriosis during pregnancy. Methods From July 2010 to April 2017, 70 131 women delivered in West China Second University Hospital.Nineteen cases were confirmed as listeriosis. The clinical symptoms, laboratory results, pathogens, placenta pathology and perinatal outcomes were analyzed retrospectively. Results The median age of the 19 cases was 29.7 (19.0-42.0) years old. The median time before diagnosis was 4.8 (0.5-19.0) days. The main clinical symptoms at first visits were high fever (17/19), increased white blood cells (18/19), abdominal pain (12/19). Listeria was found in samples of mother′s blood (11/19), vaginal secretions(15/19),placenta(1/19),neonatal blood(4/19),neonatal phlegm(5/19)and neonatal ear secretions (1/19),respectively.Inflammation of placenta was identified in all 19 cases.Among the 19 cases,1 was gradeⅠ chorioamnionitis,4 was grade Ⅱ,5 was grade Ⅲand 9 was grade Ⅵ. Only 4 newborn survived after therapy, and others suffered perinatal death, including 8 cases of intrauterine death,3 cases of miscarriage and 6 cases of treatment failure. Conclusions Listeriosis has characteristics of acute onset, quick development and high morbidity during pregnancy. The empiric use of antibiotics might not cover listeria. The understanding of listeriosis should be improved.
